Arte, no he's not too old, or if he is then E is too old too. She has this really piercing cry/bellow that she does when she's displeased, it is very very loud and just that frequency that goes all the way through to my brainstem. Ugh. I tell her I can't hear her unless she's talking to me in a calm voice, but i think DD and possibly others (DH? FDC lady?) might react sometimes when she winds up which doesn't help.
Trill, your poor DH, sound very ouchy. Glad you got to have a lazy day, sounds just like what you needed.
Isadora, I wanted to see Hop...I woulda sat still LOL. Will have to see it on DVD instead. Cars is a bit 'meh' in this household.
Speaking of movies I have been totally paranoid about popcorn choking, don't remember giving it to DD1 until she was 4 or 5 or something, but realise this is probably an overreaction. Do all the other kidliwinks have popcorn, nuts, raw carrot yet or has anyone held off?
Crap Trill, but your girls are big!! I was hoping that whinge patch would pass soon!! Hope your DH is feeling better soon.
MD, yip, the fake-ish tinge to the cry is what really gets me angry - it is fully put on but he won't frigging stop doing it! There have been many pull over to the side of the road and threaten to make him walk incidents lately.
I give A all those foods!
We do nuts, raw carrot is met with a definite yuck, have never tried popcorn (but just cause I'm not really into it anyway, so we never have it at our place and DD has never been to the movies)
Arte - we've had some shocking behaviour lately. A lot of 'don't talk to me' 'I'm talking to Daddy' kind of things. As well as the 'NOOOOOOO'
DD spent the night at MIL's. They went out this morning and forgot to check if she needed to do wees before sitting in the car for 30 minutes. So I got to spend the afternoon washing the car seat. Not impressed, she's only ever had one other accident in the car and that was due to a nap on the way back from Canberra. And of course the significant Dora watching that always occurs there.
