Ginger - You are probably right, the big baby thing may be an excuse. She has probably wanted the csection all along. Each to their own, as long as baby arrives safely.

Trill - Thanks for that. It is a hard decision, chances are the motilium wont affect me, but its the unknown that worries me.

So far I am just offering her feeds as normal and she is getting some still, but its slowing down heaps. My last ditch attempt to help my supply is an overdose on fenugreek lol. I am also thinking of ordering some more milk plus from the states.

cass- i would definitely be going to the gp on monday. have they been on Abs at all? or would that do nothing?

isa- have you tried going to a different gp or is it not good for you to keep taking the motilium?

G: we have a script for JIC her cough goes to her chest. but that hasnt happened (thankfully!). the GP was certain that it was a virus and that there wasnt much we could do. but my concern now is just her general strength (or lack of!!). she has lost a couple of kilos and is now only 12kgs!! it's scary to see.

First of all, happy happy birthday to William I hope you had a lovely day and the cake and party etc were a huge hit. Arte you can go ahead and have your baby now.

MD, I get along o.k now, but as a child/teen I was a social outcast because I was so introverted. I am forever grateful that my intermediate and high school had an accelerate class so all the non-sporty social inepts were lumped together and we could actually make friends - if I had been left in mainstream I would have had no friends at all.

Arte, ME TOOOOO! Not helped by the fact that I changed schools nine times, either. I still struggle with feeling like an oddball in most social settings. But eventually we found our own kind and flourished.

Cass, your poor little chickens. I"m so sorry you had to cancel your party/naming celebration. We postponed E's party one year, can't remember why now, but we shifted it back about 3 times LOL. I think you should definitely go back to the GP for a review and express your concerns re the weight loss. If she's not really improving then it's time for some pathology specimens if that hasn't already been done. xxx

Ginger, that's lovely that your SIL is more communicative on the baby front now. Difficult though when she seems to be headed in such a different direction. My friend at work who is preggy with a similar age gap between her eldest as between my two, and she was telling me how she's going to be so much stricter with routine this time. I could feel this fake smile plastered to my face, I'm pretty sure the book she was telling me about was that Frizzy Hall woman, but where do you even start with that discussion? Definitely buy that cake!!

BTW I don't love Miranda Kerr at all. She went and stole my man away from me. Yep Orlando is my celebrity pass toyboy.

Isa, will she comfort suck when she's sleepy? Maybe try squeezing some extra sleeptime or wakeup feeds? Make sure you have a good drink, as your bbs keep producing even while they're being drained. BTW do not let yourself feel bad for a minute, you have done an awesome job of getting this far when it wasn't easy. One tip for introducing a sippy cup is to give a little rice milk in it, it tastes sweet like BM does. Don't use a non-spill cup, give it to her anytime she's eating or sitting in the high chair, even it she tips it everywhere she'll eventually get some in her mouth and become interested, kwim?

Trill how are things down on the farm? We were at the Royal Show yesterday, I thought of you when we went past the sheep shed and htey were selling them and I[m pretty sure the auctioneer said "three thousand...." and I wondered if I'd heard it wrong or if that was a good price.

So yeah, show day yesterday and we had a BALL (and spent a fortune too LOL). After an early false start on a little kids train ride, it turns out Missy E is quite the thrill-seeker! There's a patch of toned-down family rides and she loved every single one, starting with the family "roller coaster" that H was too scared to go on PMSL. Excellent day, finally saw the pig diving, and took in more of the agricultural stuff. E was interested in everything. Anyway we're all pooped today, unfortunately DH had to work today so I got to drag cranky overtired child around the shops with me. It was for birthday things so I couldn't abandon!

Cass, I hope the girls (and you) wake up feeling better today. Sounds really rough, you guys have had a terrible run this year. Are you going to be following winter around next year?

MD, I just saw your sig lol. Glad you had a good time at the show.

Birthday party was great! In the end 7 kids turned up so 9 altogether which was a good number. I got the amount of food about right, leftovers but not too many iykwim. I thoroughly recommend the ice-cream cake - it took about 3 minutes to shape a tub of ice-cream into a circle and stick a printed icing on it and the kids were sooo impressed! The kids were so well behaved and had a fantastic time

And best of all - both kids slept through last night!! The whole night! Both of them!!

MD, Happy birthday to Miss E!!!! So do you have anything planned for her today? The auction you heard for sheep would have been a ram sale and $3000 would be a fair price for a lot of the top range stud rams.

Well we have a new 'baby' in the house. DH found an abandoned feral kitten in the old ute this morning and he duly brought it home. It has it's eyes open but we have no real idea how old it is. It is so tiny! The kids are super excited, I'm *meh* about it. I can't stand cats and here I am kangaroo caring for a kitten to keep it warm So we've been trying to syringe feed it lambs milk but it's not overly keen on it. We've tentatively called it Chewy because I joked that it will become a chew toy for the dog LOL. I have no idea if it will live or not but I've told the kids to try not to get too attached to it.

Trill, I am excited about your kitten lol. Although kittens that are hand raised tend to be a bit...different. My aunt hand raised a cat and it had a terrible habit of humping all the pillows in the house lol.

Have just made the decision to dump my uni paper and repeat next year. I am too far behind to realistically catch up. Am trying to draft an email to withdraw, failure sucks!

Arte, strategic withdrawal is totally different to failure!!! Get your dr'/midwife to write you a letter of support so that it's in your transcript as a withdraw not a withdraw fail. Ring the faculty office if you're not sure how to organize it. Xxx

oh my I missed Ws birthday yesterday!! Happy birthday Mr W! sounds like you had a blast!!

Trill: must be the season of finding abandoned creatures. mum called this morning to say that she almost hit two 8-9 week old puppies last night, thankfully missed them and pulled over and she called out and they came running over and jumped straight into her arms! anyway, she goes to the house that she thought they came from and the guy said that they got dumped a few days ago and he was throwing them scraps. mum asked if she could take them to the RSPCA and he said yes. anyway, she gets home (it was too late to go in) and the pups have moved right in . she is taking them to the vet today to get all checked out as they are pretty thin etc.

I hope that chewy makes it (love the name btw LOL). we hand raised a cat in Fiji his name was Cassius...as you may imagine he was really special to us

Arte: i got my midwife to write a big letter saying that it was too stressful and not good for the pg and i got to withdraw without failure. worth a shot babe.

AFM: still really awful here. thankfully both Leila and i only have really low grade temps. but the nausea and general unwellness is unbelievable. Leila is only really managing toast and now has a mouth full of ulcers . i cannot believe this nightmare TBH. she has never ever been this sick.

Cass, I wish I could do something to help you out! Can you dose the girls with florodix or something? I have been giving it to mine in juice for a bit of a boost.

Thanks for all your kind words about withdrawing. It is before 75% of the course so it automatically goes as a withdrawal and not a fail, I just lose my course fees. A few tears over it, but I am trying to clear my head so I don't have deadlines hanging over me bringing me down like I did before.

This baby is never coming out! Midwives are happy because every two days they get to come and jab my butt with another iron injection and the longer she stays the more they get to do - my poor arse cheeks are stained black again. It took nearly two years for the staining to fade from the shots I had before A.

The spring weather is making me really miss my dog She was always just hanging around with us outside, seems so empty without her. Mum offered me a springer spaniel/beardie x puppy today - was really tempted but the timing isn't really good and it is probably too big for DH's liking.

Arte: oh gosh that would of been hard to resist the gorgeousness of a cute to boot puppy! but you are right, the timing would be kinda horrifying lol.

G: we have signs of improvement i am sooooo relieved! she ate at dinner (chicken soup with rice) and then asked about 20 minutes ago for a sandwich and ate it all!! wahoooo! she also doesnt have a temp at all. so i am that she is turning that corner!

i need to get better ASAP as i am meeting the UN lady on thursday eeppp! it's going to be so cool to meet someone so cool ITMS. i just dont want to snot on her lol.

Happy Birhday Miss E!!

Well Miss K went to her first little friends birthday party yesterday. I've never seen so much lollies, chips and generally other bad food - absolutely nothing decent, even the red cordial. Anyway, she was on a sugar high for most of the afternoon, then spent 3 hours up in the middle of the night - luckily DH dealt with that, I enjoyed the 2.5 hour nap today though.

Gave her the birthday bike today and she managed a 1.5 hour ride this morning - only 3 accidents along the way - I think it was a hit.

Cass - oh, you poor things, glad that L seems to be on the mend. How is M going?

Arte - hope that baby pops out soon, icky iron injections

Cass, that is great to hear that L is turning the corner! I hope you follow soon. How is M doing?

Cally, glad the bike was a hit! I made fruit kebabs for our party, but we did have the standard chips, lollies, fairy bread going on. We did have sausage rolls and cheerio's too - not really a fantastic choice but at least they aren't loaded with sugar.

G, I don't think we will get the puppy -she sounds like she would be gorgeous but my last dog was very big (german shepherd sized) and although she loved us and was great with the kids, she was never the sharpest tool in the shed and O.M.G she was the clumsiest dog in the entire world. DH didn't grow up with dogs and I think she turned him off them lol. I think I could twist his arm for something small, maybe next year when I have more time for training. I would love to get an English Staffy - they have a load of personality, small, short coat and they are regarded as one of the best dogs for children (very different dogs to american staffs).

11pm and no sign of impending labour. Getting p!ssed off with all the waiting! Can't plan anything properly. Can't be bothered doing the kindy run tomorrow. Just come out kid! How do people manage going weeks overdue? It has been two days and I going mad!
