Congratulations OP! Wow, I'm impressed! You must have amazing stamina. I am exhausted just thinking about a second. Are you already thinking ahead to the 4th? I know a lot of people think it's better to have an even number "so nobody's left out". TBH, I think that's nonsense because if there are 4 it'd be worse if 3 ganged up on one of them than if 2 did, IYKWIM?

Dr Tal, fingers crossed you can avoid any ongoing issues now that you know about B's tear ducts. And I hope your appointment with the specialist on Friday goes well.

AFU, we went to the sleep clinic last week, finally. Missed the first 2 bookings with flu then conjunctivitis. The verdict: not a miracle fix, that's for sure! The settling technique they showed us is another variation that involves crying, but you listen for escalating crying and you can go back into the room and comfort them at any time if you want to anyway. But the idea is to leave when they're calm but not yet asleep. We all did pretty well at bed time and even when he woke up during the night he went back to sleep without intervention a couple of times within 5 or 10 minutes. They tried to get him onto 2 naps a day which just didn't happen. But since we've been home the last 3 nights he's woken up 3 times the first night and 3rd night, and slept from 8pm to 5am straight the second night. Typically the good night was on a night when we were both busy - DH at a dinner till late and I was up till midnight doing assessment that needed to be completed for a first aid course the next day! Add that to the crap sleep at the sleep clinic because I woke up when all the other babies cried, and I'm probably even more sleep deprived than usual. you gotta laugh.

In other developments, Travis is now walking pretty well - he can get from one end of a room to the other and stop and turn etc, though he does seem to have his hands in the air most of the time still. I wonder how long that habit will take to break! He's obsessed with elmo and lights. He still usually can't quite make the 'L' sound though, so it sounds like "eh-mo" and either "dight" or "bight" when he tries to say those words! He also loves spotting the moon but again he hasn't quite got the whole word working and it always comes out as "moo". He's just so cute!!

Well I'm at work waiting for an external server to have room for me to run a job on it so I had time to procrastinate. But I suppose I should go and find some thing productive to do....
