OP – I wouldn’t stalk me too closely at the moment. I don’t post too much in the TTC thread. It just moves too quickly! It’s crazy in there, you’ll get 2-3 pages of posts in one day and at the moment I’m lucky if I can check into belly belly once every two days or so. Then there are like 6 or more pages of posts and I don’t have a hope of catching up on and then I feel bad about just me posting with no personals…..and well….I don’t post too much
Brekkie – B eats just about anything. When DH feeds him brekkie, it’s usually a bit hit or miss as to whether it’s actually breakfast food or not. He’ll usually just grab some cubes out of the freezer and thaw, be they salmon and veggies, avocado or fruit :shakehead: At least he feeds him :D I’ll usually give him yoghurt or some of my oatmeal.
Owens – I often think about not changing B on the change table, but then there I find myself in the middle of a change, fighing him squirming and wiggling and pulling things out from everywhere….on the change table….AGAIN! You’d think I’d lean! :duh:
Wow…sounds like you’ve had one heck of a week. I certainly hope you and all your children are feeling better and you’re able to get a bit of a break! You and your poor little boys
Sal – I’ve already been to see the acupuncturist…last week. Got some herbs for me and DH...he might have mutant sperm, but at least they can ride in style on purified waves (so to speak :D )
And I am SO WITH YOU on wishing the stork delivered!
So glad to hear that your DH’s check up went well. How long will he have to go for them until he’s pronounced clear? I LOVE aquariums…so jealous…
WOOHOO about the weight and cm loss! Can’t WAIT to see the photos!
Work…well this is my third week in a row I’ve been…B seems to be over his getting sick all the time (knock on wood)…down side to that is I actually have to go to work and consequently spend 3 days away from my baby
Emma – That’s so cute that T waves. I try to get B to wave…clap…anything really (well he does splash…but that’s about it)…to no avail. I think he’s too busy to even try…oh well. I really do think a lot of his not doing things (sitting, waving, trying to talk) is him just too busy to watch/listen/take the time to even try.
B loves the vacuum cleaner too. He plays on/around it all the time, and LOVES to be held while I am vacuuming.
AFU – B almost has a tooth. I say almost as I can’t really see it yet, but I can feel it (it’s really sharp) when he chews on my toe. I put my finger in there on Friday after it really hurt when he bit my big toe (more so then usual) and I could feel it.
He’s also been walking with only one hand held since Saturday. He didn’t think he could but I tricked him by putting a toy in one hand (because I was convinced he was physically able to but didn’t think he was ITMS) and he was busy shaking and looking at that and I started to walk with him and he walked along. It finally dawned on him that he was only holding one of my hands, got really excited, started bouncing and fell over  Then Sunday I did something similar and tricked him into standing on his own without any support. Same sort of thing. Put a toy in one hand, then gave him is favourite toy to grab in the other. Stood there for about 20 seconds before he realised I wasn’t holding him. Then promptly fell over and started to cry
Now question time. B stopped biting my nipple…thankfully now that he’s mostly got a tooth…but has started pinching me…and I mean HARD. I’ve got bruises all over my left arm. Has anyone else had their current…or past baby do this? If you did what did you do to get them to stop. It really hurts.
AND B’s sleep is getting worse. I’m wondering it it’s because of the tooth, but I really don’t think it is. And I’m probably partly to blame. As in the middle of the night he’ll wake up, cry…not want to go back into his cot, so I’m super tired (generally needing to work the next day) wanting to get some sleep, class it in the too hard basket and bring him into bed with us where he promptly goes to sleep but wiggles and moves and jerks and starts and keeps me awake, but I’m getting more sleep then I would if he was in the cot. So now he knows if he cries and makes a fuss he’ll get to come into bed with us…but I just keep getting more and more tired and consequently am ‘giving up’ easier and easier…so it’s a bit of an endless cycle really. I know I’m just going to have to bite the bullet and keep putting him back in his cot one night despite the constant wake ups. I tell myself I’m going to do it nearly every night…then it’s 3 in the morning and I’ve just gotten up for the however manyith time and next thing I know he’s laying in bed next to me…sound asleep.
