Just a quickie as am off to my IVF Mums Morning tea - yaaaaah!!

Bridg - I agree re the infacol, I have been using it for Bailey for about 2 weeks now and it is definately the best wind product I have found and gives almost instant relief to my boy. My brother told me that it disperses all the bubbles of wind in their belly - and showed me how. Fill up a sink with some dishwashing liquid so there are bubbles, put some drops of infacol in - you will see it basically clear the bubbles around where you drop it in - freaky! This concerned me at first as I am putting in Baileys belly and thought it might be too strong, but my Bro and SIL used it on both their girls in their first years and they are two of the healthiest kids I know, and the dosage is only 0.2ml. The Braurs is a pain in the bum as you have to give it 4 times every 30 mins, then four hourly - too hard to remember IMO

Krystie - re the vaccinations, I am not sure you can pick and choose which ones to give as I know one of the needles was a 5in1 vac - cant remember which 5 it was though. There was one oral one, which was fine as Bailey liked the taste and just sucked it down with his dummy, then a jab in each leg - he screamed with each one - but only cried for about 15 seconds and after a cuddle and dummy was fine - like a goldfish - instantly forgot! I choked up a bit though - its a bit heartbreaking for Mum and Dad - even Sean was a bit emotional. They nurse was fantastic and gave us a heap of info - and said that if any thing he may be quite sleepy about 3 hours after the vac for 3 hours - or would cry and be unsettled - and this is exactly what happened - the crying - this was the hard part, it took a good hour to sooth him back to sleep after about 4 comfort feeds and I ended up giving him some paracetomel and then he was fine and slept for about 3 hours, and woke up smiley for a feed and had been a very happy little chappy this morning, so it wasn't as bad as I thought. I will be doing all the recommended vac's, but you need to do what you think is right for you and Kyson

I am beginning to think that Baileys crazy few days were definately a wonder week - he hasn't had ongoing wind problems and in reflection he was really clingy, wanted to be held and just didn't know what to do with himself - and in the last few days he has just developed in leaps and bounds - constantly gooing, gaahing, giggly, smiling constantly - you can see he has really past a milestone and seems to have moved out of the 'newborn' stage
