Bridg: LOL! Told you I keep forgetting I have that book! Yes, she mentions holding head to one side - 'torticollis'. Not sure if this is what Phoebe's doing though having read g=her description... Anyhoo, she says its worth a visit to a paed physio. I'll see what the nurse reckons.
Naomi: Yeah, DH had a couple of crazy days at work (shot a BIG wedding on Saturday) but had yesterday off and finished early today :) I am happy again, LOL! Makes such a difference having another set of hands around.
Wow, that's scary about your mum. I understand why you'd want to make sure everything's ok. I have been thinking some more about my cycle post birth of Natty and I think my cycles were slightly shorter but normal bleeding. Thing is, I didn't get AF back til N was 8-ish months, so its probably not very relevant (plus I can't remember specifically what it was like at first).
How exciting about Bailey's teeth - it changes the look of their whole face when those little teeth erupt. These babies are growing up waaaaay too quickly.
Jacinta: Hope J is having an ok night after his unsettled afternoon.

Hey girls
I'm still in bed doin this from my ph, but I just had to brag. Jemima slept 8.5hrs over night! From 8 till 4.30 then back to sleep by 5 and she has just woken me at 8:20! Am seriously spoilt!

Hi everyone!
Sorry just jumping in quickly before I finish a cake, but wanted to let you all know I'm still around.
It's my little man's 2nd birthday today.... goodness me has that gone super fast! We're not having a big day today or anything, but I am trying to make a car cake and so far... it's not going so well. LOL I really am not the cooking/decrating type. LOL If all fails, it's going to be a car wreck car so I can get away with it. LOL
Allira's going well. Still doing 10 hour nights. We're off to an osteo tomorrow as she's got a pretty decen flat head and also has a preference for lying on it one way.. so could be torticollitis (sp??). Hopefully we will have a plan of attack after that, because no matter how I lay her down, she's always managing to turn the way I don't want her to! LOL
( it seems to have pushed one of her ears slightly forward of the other, so thought we'd try and get it sorted now rather than wait until 4 months when we see the MCHN again).
ANyway.... I've got lots to catch up on and I'll give it a whirl later.
xxoo

BG - I'm sp glad that E's baptism went so well. It sounds like you all had a wonderful day. E looked absolutely gorgeous in her gown and the super cute bum cover :) Your professional photos of her are devine!
Kat - Any dates are pretty much fine with me. I'd love to be able to come to both get-togethers!
You had me giggling when you wrote "Might start to chew on my fists and grizzle now... someone best put me to bed." LOL!
Cathy - Good to hear that Cara's belly button has cleared up. Kyson's is kind of dark in the middle. hope it's normal. It doesn't seem painful or anything, but I'll ask the MCHN next time I see her. Actually, I'll ask the one that runs our mothersgroup...
I hope your booby is better :(
Amy - How are your cheeky little girls today? I'm sure they are being little angels for you ;)
Bridg - Good luck with your apt tomorrow. I'm sure Logan will pass the hearing test with flying colors :)
Naomi - I'm sure that your wacky cycle shenanigans must be related to hormones that have still not stabilised. Hopefully given a little more time it'll settle down for you. AF hasn't returned at all for me yet. I only bled for about 2 weeks at most after Kyson's birth, but I'm still getting some of that yellow "snot-like" discharge (TMI!!!) which is really annoying.
Jacinta - I'm glad Jamie was fine after getting his needles. What a brave little tyke.
Vic - Good to hear that CJ was a brave little poppet at her injections too :)
Oh oh, hungry little monster here! Be back later :)
-
hes fine now after coming to bed with mummy and he had a nice spew after his morning bottle all over mums bed
-
Oooh, its quiet in here today.........
I bought Bailey a grobag today (the cute tractor one), ending up paying $79 - DH keeps telling Bailey to have a good nights sleep in his gold plated sleeping bag LOL. I told DH he would sleep better and would be warm and would you believe Bailey woke an hour after I put him to bed and is now WIDE awake, little bugger!! LMAO I swear these boys are ganging up on me hehehehe. He had a 3 hour afternoon sleep (usually only has an hour) so this is probably why!!
Bella - you are seriously spoilt re the sleep, I am torn between feeling insanely jealous and happy for you LMAO!!
Nicky - Hope Lachie had a great day (and Mum too)
Krystie - Lucky you with AF staying away, Amy I think you are right and I think the minipill doesn't agree with me, have decided to ring my OBs MW in the morning
Jacinta - Oh no re the spew, hope Jamie is ok now
Check this out, this wasn't quite what I had in mind when I suggested DH read a bedtime story LOL

Going to a movie, so quick post here. Just had to say OMG NAOMI!!! Bailey's face is so hilarious.
-
Bella: JEALOUS here ;)
Nicky: How'd you and Allira get on at the osteo today? How was Lachie's birthday? Did the cake work out ok? (Had to LOL @ the car wreck!)
Krystie: Agh, the girls were dreadful yesterday, LOL! They were working as a team: when Phoebe was settled, Natty would be complaining or crying about something. When Natty was happily playing, Phoebe would be crying. I just couldn't win :( DH got home around 6:30 and played with Natty while I fed Phoebe in her room. As I was feeding her I just cried and cried and let the stress of the day go. She went to bed straight after (her earliest night yet!) and slept for over 7 hours - poor thing was soooo exhausted from being miserable all day. Then I was still crying when I took Natty into the bathroom to brush her teeth. She was chatting away like a little darling (makes me feel so guilty for being angry earlier) and she'd occasionally look up at me crying and say, 'Ok Mummy? Ok?' LOL, just made me cry more.
How is Kyson doing? Has he rolled over again?
Naomi: LOL @ the boys ganging up on you. I can't wait until I can rally my chick army against DH ;) I'm sure the gro-bag will be super. How did you get on talking to the OB today?
Jacinta: Eeeeeew @ spew all through the bed!
We went to a babes in arms session of Harry Potter today :) Felt great to get out and about. N had a play with her Pop (my Dad) and P slept for the entire movie! (It went for 2.5 hours! My boobs were going crazy having her sleeping on them and not feeding for over 3 hours, LOL. Hard as a rock.)
We have a MCHN appt tomorrow morning. I am looking forward to seeing P's weight and measurements - I am sure she has had a big growth spurt. Not sure whether or not to mention the head thing now. Of course, since I wrote about how worried I am she has been turning the other way as well today.
Anyhoo, I must away to bed and make the most of another early night. Hope everyone is doing well.
-
Snacks - don't feel to jealous mate, J had a bad arvo and just fed all day. By 6pm I had pancake boobs and she was crying at me whilst she kept trying to feed:( I felt very inadequate I can tell u. Made me want to cry. She finally fell asleep on an empty belly at 9. I am sure she will wake soon asking for milk. Poor thing was so agitated beating at my breasts with her fists! Just glad she went to sleep so I have time to make more.
-
Oh wow!!! My avatar is up!!! how cool... it's a bit dark but I think I like it! What do you girls think?
-
Naomi- Clever u on cleaning ur pantry out. I need to do ours, but just dont have the time. I totally understand u on the boys ganging up. I have 4 of them! Lucky the cat is female. Absolutely looooove the pics of Daddy reading Bailey a bedtime story.
Amy- *hugs* sorry to hear u had a bad day. But its good that Phoebe slept the whole time at the movie. I dont think it would hurt to mention the head thing when u see the MCHN.
Bella- Yep, I love the avatar. Its so pretty.
AFU, Logan slept from about 1am til 8.30am, had 60mls of a bottle, then slept til just before 11. Im thinking he may be getting ready for a feeding frenzy growth spurt. We have the MCHN tomorrow (Thursday) at 9.45am so will pop back in after that and let u know how he goes.
-
Love the avvy, Bella. I'm sorry about J being unsettled at the boob. Its the worst feeling. P has done that to me a couple of times, but sometimes I think it is just overtiredness... She keeps coming off when she's too tired to feed properly. I think certainly the rate that the milk lets down gets slower at the end of the day, but I reckon its compounded by them getting the irrits cause their tired. I can't believe I'm saying this to another chick, but sweety, don't feel inadequate - your boobs are fabulous. LOL!
Bridg - will look forward to hearing how Logan gets on tomorrow morning.
-
Phoebe flat out refused the breast this morning! It was awful. It had been over 5 hours since the last feed and she'd woken up happy. I was feeling really full and so sat down with her to feed her (after having gotten Natty organised) and she just cried every time I tried to put her on :( It went on for over an hour. Just when I was thinking I'd have to get the pump out because I was going to DIE of engorgement, she decided she was ready. Wow, it was stressful. I kept wondering if she was sick. But all seems ok for now, thank goodness.
-
Amy - I spoke to the MW, the mini pill can cause a few issues but its pretty rare, and said that the first 2-3 periods can be pretty awful and full on, the Baby Love book also says the mini pill can cause excessive bleeding - I'd say a 2 week AF fits that description. Anyway, she said to give it a few more days and call back if I am still bleeding. But I spoke to DH last night and decided to stop taking it and let my body get back to normal au'natural - the chances of us actually getting pregnant are pretty remote anyway and its not like we are DTD much atm anyhoo - sorry TMI LOL. Also I've been having period pain and a heavy feeling down there which is just tiring and depressing me so just want to try to get my natural cycle back - prior to conceiving Bailey I was off the pill for well over 12 months and had a lovely 28 day cycle with about a 5 day AF, so fingers crossed it will kick back in
Bella - thats happened to me a few times with Bailey where I swear there is NO milk left in my boobs and he cries and comes of the breast and there seems no evidence that he has gotten any milk - its quite devastating, I also panick when that happens and think my milk supply is giving up the ghost. Nice Avvy, cant wait to see mine too
Better go, have to shower, make beds etc before the little guys wakes from his morning nap so will try to pop back later or after my mothers group
Hope everyone is well :) OOOhhhhh Bridg good luck with the MCHN

Hi there everyone!
How are we all??
Lachie is a very spoilt little man. LOL He got so much stuff... now where to put it?
The cake looked kind of car-ish.... haha. Lachie ate it so can't have been too bad. I think I need to brush up on cake making skills.
Allira went well with the osteo. Apparently she her body has reacted quite quickly to the *treatment and her skull bones etc should all start to move into their correct positions (a.k.a flat spot 'should' start un-flattening LOL).
She quite enjoyed it too. We go back in a fortnight to make sure all is going well and see if anything needs re aligning but the osteo said she was quite good to begin with, was just her left side of her head (the flat spot).
(* treatment?? More like a full body massage!:p)
Heading out for dinner this Saturday, which will be interesting mainly because DS is too full on to sit still. LOL. Then we're hanging at my folks place for the night doing some shopping on Sunday and trying to get home not too long after Lunch but it will be an entire weekend again. That's the worst part of living so far from town.
Oh and we need to find a TV unit ASAP because hubby bought a plasma on me on Monday and we've nowhere o put it when we pick it up in a fortnight. Bloody men! lol
Naomi- PMSL at Bailey's facial expressions!!! That's hillarious! My hubby would 'read' the same thing to my kids given the chance. haha.
I haven't gone onto the mini pill. I am also not DTD too much..... I think even on the mini pill I would worry. We are not keen on having anymore kids, and I think the idea of me falling pregnant scares us. I've had one AF since having Allira (when she was 7.5 week sold I think) so I'll be due for another from late this week onwards if it decides to get straight back to business. I have 35ish day cycles... the joy:rolleyes:
Amy - Good on you for getting to a movie! I am yet to attempt that... with either child. LOL. I'd love to give it a whirl one day. Lachie had a massive 8 hours breast refusal when he was about 11/12 weeks old. I was MEGA stressed, crying and worrying. I ended up seeing a LC that day where he decided he'd finally latch on and pretend like he was an angel. I hope that that was just a once off episode for Pheobe. *hugs*
Bridg - Good luck with your MCHN appt today :)
Bella - your av looks great! Yay for the sleep!
Hi Vic, Kat, Krystie, Jacinta, BG, and anyone I might have missed (sorry:doh:).
Have a fab day!!
-
Amy- Sorry to hear Phoebe refused the breast, but its good that she finally took it.
Nicky- lol at DH buying a plasma. Lucky u! I am no good at making cakes, let alone a car shaped one, so u did well! Glad to hear Lachlan was spoilt.
AFU, Logans MCHN appointment went well.
Here is his 'stats':
Weight- 5140g or 11lb 5oz. (Put on 785g since 1/7)
Length- 59cm. (Grown 4cm since 1/7)
HC- 39.3cm. (Grown 1cm since 1/7)
-
Nice Stats Bridg!!
Niadla - LOL @ Amy's description of the car wreck, I bet it still tastes great
Amy - HUGS re having a cry, sweet re Natty checking you were ok :) LOL at telling Bella she has a great rack - your avi certainly is busty too hehehehehee
Bailey just did a poo - his last one was sunday so it was .......... er ................ DISGUSTING!! EEeeeeewwwww Yukko LOL. He is now called pumpkin pants - it was like pumpkin soup and it was EVERYWHERE - sent a sms to DH to tell him how lucky he was to have dodged that bullet LOL
Must away, mothers group in an hour and will try to sneak a feed in before we go
