Amy Thanks for the sympathy and I must admit to LMAO about your comment about my boobs.... there is a light side to everything isn't there. Isn't that strange that strange that phoebe refused to feed after so long. Just when you get them figured out they go and do something like that. I spend my life trying to get Jemima to space out her feeds just a little and not spend all of her waking life attatched to my boob. So I can relate it would feel weird if she refused it.
Naomi- Sorry to here hormones and AF still playing up on you. I was on the implant for 3.5 yrs before i finally went off it 6months before we got preg and it seriously played with me at the end.... it was so nice just to go 'a la natural' for awhile so enjoy feeling normal again... I hope it all settles down and you feel better.
Nialda- Glad to here that Lachie had a good b'day and enjoyed his cake... You know he won't remember whether it was perfect, he may think when he is older and looks back, that he had a super, who whilst she couldn't really do that sorta thing well, still pulled out all stops and made his b'day special.. Go super mummy :clap:
Well after lasts nights fiasco Jemima had a reasonable night. she slept from 9-3.30 and then till 5.30 then 7 then 10...... she has spent most of the day on and off the boob and has been falling asleep but lasting at longest 45 mins before waking herself up again..... I'm not sure why, I wonder if I have her rugged up to much. I have managed to do 2 baskets of ironing and clean the kitchen. J has finally fallen to sleep when i wanted to go out and get some meat for tea. Oh well, maybe we will have to have chicken.
DH had his first day starting in his new job today at the local emergency department. I'm glad to get him out of under foot in dome ways and he has been really bad in his last job for sitting around and not excersising cos so much of it was 'on call' work. So i am really looking forward to us eating more healthily and getting fitter. He's a bit of an all or nothing guy, so whilst he wasn't excersising as much he has been eating really naughty and i am feeling so sluggish and ready for a change so I hope the increased work rate of being in a busy job will help him to want to improve his lifestyle again
Anyway i can hear her stiring again... only 30 mins that time:wall: must go

FYI for the BF Mums - at my Mothers Group today our MW said that milk production is at its best at about 3am and thats a good time to express if you have troubles at other times
I'm gonna try tonight LOL - (I'm up at around 2 for a feed usually anyhoo), I'll let ya know how I go :)

Naomi- Logan has done very well with his growing. I love ur avatar. I have paid my platinum and sent off the email of what I would like in mine, so hopefully it is up soon. Yummo about the pumkin pants. Im glad Logan doesnt do that! Sean will have to change the next one!
Bella- Yay for DH starting his new job. Im a bit the same with needing to change the eating habits. Sorry to hear Jemima isnt settling. Im not sure (at this time of morning) why she would be waking all the time. Tomorrow I will have a think when my brain is working.

Naomi: Lurve the avvy, babe. Woohoo for going hormone-free ;) We aren't DTD here much either... Contraception talk always seems like a waste of time for me, LOL! Yup, 2 weeks of AF would do my head in. Hope the tidy 28-day cycle returns quick smart for you.

Nicky: So glad you all enjoyed Lachie's birthday. I hope dinner goes ok. We always found that as long as it isn't too late and there's not too long a wait for food Natty was usually ok going out to dinner. Hope you have a great weekend of it.
Ugh, Natty refused the breast at 11 months... And never came back :( At least at that point it was getting close to when I'd want her to wean anyway, but it still sucked.
Bridg: Great that the appt went well. Logan's a similar size to Phoebs :)
Bella: Sorry that J had a catnap-y day. They suck, particularly when you're tired. Hope your DH's first day in the new job went well.
We saw the nurse this morning too. P's thrush is gone (but from what Sarah the nurse said I reckon she actually never had it), and she doesn't think the head thing is anything to worry about at this stage. P weighed in at 5.2kg and is 58cm long.
She had her longest sleep ever tonight - 8:30 til 4:30. And looks like she's back to sleep again now, so... off I go too.

Hi girls, bit of a woe is me post :(
I went over yesterday on some concrete out the back of my house and I've done some serious damage to my knee and hurt my tail bone. :(
I'm in a fair amount of pain, so we are waiting until 9am to try and get into the very small medical centre 30 mins away, and then I may have to travel into town from there (1.5 hours). I am pretty sure I'll need crutches and have NO idea how I ma going to look after the kids. Hubs is staying home to take me to the docs, but I have no idea what I will do next week. Mum might be able to take some time off with any luck.
Arrggh. So ficking typical. LOL What a tool I am.
So angry with myself for falling over.

Oh Nicky that's so C*@P! Hope you're not hobbling for too long and that you get HEAPS of help and support in the meantime.
Just wanted to pop in and say LOVE the avvies!! I've also sent off the request for mine. Can't wait to see it.
We're off on a big drive accross town to visit my photographer friend and her bub and pick up the pics she took of Ivy at 8 weeks. SO excited! I'll post some on facebook later as long as my friend is ok with that.

well we had jamie measured today
so at 12 weeks exactly he is 6.25kg 63cm long and 40cm HC yay for my little fatty other than that weve got a bit of conjunctivitis but its being treated and its not 2 bad

Nicky: Awww, babe :( That sucks! I was coming on here to biatch about having just cut my finger with a bread knife, but yours trumps mine ;) I hope you haven't done too much damage and are back on your feet before too long. No clue on the getting help... Could your DH take some carer's leave? So sorry. I hate injuries. They are so bloody inconvenient :hug:

I am just about to call my work to see if they'd like me to come in and do my own group certificate, LOL! Haven't gotten it yet and it was my job last year. I'm the only one who needs it so I may as well go do it myself. Hope everyone else is having a good day.

Amy - LOL at living vicariously busty through your avi! Yeah being hormone free is a good thing I reckon, after all the fertility drugs, then prego hormones, and still not being 'back to normal' I think its a good thing for a while. At least once my cycle settles down I will have some idea of fertile times and when to avoid them (oh the irony continues to make me ponder, as previously I was sooo in tune of making the most of the fertile times LOL). Once I go back to work it wont matter if anything did happen as on two wages I can save up for maternity leave again, but prior to that it would be a bit of a financial disaster. Awesome to hear Ps thrush is gone and nice sleeps - perhaps its all falling into place for the Phoebster now?
Bella - a babies sleep cycle is actually only about 45 mins, (wheras an adults is about 90mins), we actually talked about sleep at our mothers group yesterday so I am all 'info'd' up. Our MW suggested that if bubs is waking at the 45min mark, to sneak in about 40 mins, and when you see signs of baby stirring, to pat them/settle through it etc so they kinda 'bypass' the waking stage and they go back into a deeper sleep and start the sleep cycle again. Of course no guarantee's this will work, but information is a powerful tool. Bailey often only sleeps 40-60 mins during the day, occassionally longer if very tired. Also - do you wrap J? Sorry if you have already posted this info - Bailey has let me start wrapping him again, so I wrap him tight, really pinning his arms, as this works a treat as previously he was bump himself in the face with his flailing arms and awaken
Bridg - cant wait to see your avi. Mine really matched my suggestions so am happy. We used to call Bailey 'Rocky' inutero as our little embryo needed to be a fighter to successfully become a pregnancy, then this morphed into 'Rockstar' hence me wanting the star, I guess its reflective of our IVF journey in some ways. And I said I always wear jeans and love our garden so its perfect :)
Ohhhh Nicky, you clutzy chick, I feel for ya mate - hope you recover soon, you are soooooooooo like me. I took a tumble last friday on our tiles (while holding Bailey - V. scary) as I stood up from picking him out of his bouncer, stepped on my dressing gown and tripped myself up. I went into 'save the baby mode' and my knees bore the brunt of it on the cold hard tiles, I have two bruises, one under each knee about 10cm circumference each - very unattractive LOL. I hope its not as bad as you thought and you recover quickly - damn concrete getting in your way!!!
Kat - cant wait to see your Avi too - I think we have all inspired each other re the membership!! Ooooh re your pics, cant wait to see, will keep an eye on FB. Ours are due to be ready next tues and I am excited to see them too, I bet Ivy looks precious and beautiful (as she always does anyway :) )
Jacinta - thats awesome re Jamies growth - what a healthy little man! He is all in proportion though so not a little fatty at all. I saw your pics on facebook, he is growing so quickly, how much fun to have a bath with him, I have been thinking about taking Bailey in the shower with me to see if he likes it, I think DH is a bit paranoid about it re tiles, slippery wet baby etc, so might give it a go tomorrow morning when DH is there to pass me Bailey etc
AFU - I went out for breakfast with a couple of Mums to a Family Friendly Cafe this morning, cant believe I managed to get Bailey and I ready to go out so early, amazing what you can do when you have to LOL. I just rang some child care centres and arranged to visit on monday

yeah lol hes not really a fatty but hes bigger than most babies i know thats all lol hes the same size my neice was at about 6 months sometimes i have to remind myself hes only 12 weeks old

were going to get a car on wed yay a car that works weve already been approved for a loan so we just gotta go pick it up wed oh and cammomile tea is the best for conjunctivitis he had yellow goo yesterday afternoon and by this morning it was cleared up

Jacinta- Glad to hear Jamies yucky eye has cleared up. Breast milk also works a treat. I put Logan in the bath with me once, and he didnt really like it, so ur lucky that Jamie did. How exciting about the new car!! I love getting new cars.
Naomi- Oh god re the fall. I would imagine it would have been scary with Bailey in ur arms.
Kat- The photos were gorgeous! I love the expressions that Ivy was making.
AFU, I mentioned the meet up to Leigh, and he said "yeah I spose". We can make the one in November, but not the September one. Weekends are better for us, as we have to travel about 3hrs, and Leigh cant get time off work.
Logan has been chatting and smiling heaps. My little baby Zac lost a tooth today. It had been wobbly for a while, so the tooth fairy will be visiting tonight. He has also lost his other front tooth when he was 18m old. He fell over on the concrete at daycare and cracked the tooth into 3 bits, so it had to be pulled out. So now the poor bubba has 2 missing front teeth.
