Good luck Amelia ... how exciting!
Good luck Amelia ... how exciting!
You said you dont really care and I couldnt decide ... so good luck either way!

I haven't been able to get on here for a couple of days! Well I get on and then it crashes, so sorry for being AWOL.

Good news, my gynie (as predicted) had a cancellation and I am going to see her this afternoon. Geez its all a bit scary now. I think maybe because we have waited so long this time!

    Julia
    - had a look at your pics on FB, the apartment looks great! When do you leave exactly?

    Amber
    - how cute about what Myle's is saying, they come out with such cute stuff at the moment! Tay walks around calling out for Mi ......... which is Mia. She cant quite get that A.

    Saffi
    - I hope that L is better and that the bug stops at him! I know in our family, once one goes down, we all go down! We are great at spreading germs LOL

    Mo - how is Phil?

    Kate
    - I know, we now have little people running around. I have to say I am enjoying Tay at this age. I think I never got to enjoy Mia as much, as I had a newborn to deal with. In saying that, I dont think Tay would cope with a newborn at this age. She definately has "I AM THE BABY" syndrome. She is very posessive of me and doesnt like me picking other kids up. Mia is not even allowed to sit closest to me in the bath without her losing it!

Trish - how are you all getting over your colds?

    Hi guys!
well what a rough week i have had. this time last friday night i was getting home from work and feeling rather off. i was real cold and shivering and couldnt get warm. Then o/n the diarrhea started. Sunday i was bed bound and the stomach pains were worse then contractions. 5pm sat i went to medical centre and waiting curled over for 2hrs to be told there is nothing that can be done i have gastro. Sunday night at 11pm i told dh i couldnt do it anymore and needed to go to hospital.
i was hooked up to an IV drip and given some pain releif as i was dehydrating even though i was trying hard to keep up my fluids.
I spent the next 4 days in hospital, turns out i had food poisioning from a bbq chicken.....dh ate it to but was fine and i never vomitted.... i only got home from hosp yesterday. The kids wernt allowed to visit me becuase it easnt at that stage known if i had gastro. The nurses had to wear gloves, gowns and masks any time they walked into the room.
anyway i am on the rd to recovery now. it really knocked me around and im still not up to the same engery level. the AB and IV drip has now caused thrush so hopeing its all over soon.....
Tyron is getting so naughty. he also has a show fettish! he is always pulling shoes out of the closests and walking around the house in them, mine, dh's, high heels anything he can get his hands on.
He has had his 18m needle which he didnt even budge from, just got the re-imburse thing from the government.
    Celtic- congratulations on your pregnancy!
Amelia- how did your moving go?, hope you did all the deligating and none of the lifting!
Saffi- glad you dont have GD! doctors always told me my bubs seemed on the bigger side. Ty was only 7lb 10oz so not big at all just average.

Hi to everyone else and will try and catch up a bit more soon

Nickers - That is a very rough week for you!! Hope you get better sooner rather then later!! Moving went well.....We are going furniture shopping today/tomorrow cause we gotta buy a new computer desk and some bookcases for all my scrapbooking stuff and my obsession with books!! Lol. I didn't do any of the lifting but still had to do all the unpacking!! I think I would have prefered the lifting!! Lol.

Have a good day everyone!! We are going to go pick up our dog from my brothers. He offered to have him when we moved to Mackay but now we are back I asked if we could have him back and he said yes!! He is a long haired dash hound with a bark like a german shepherd!! A very good guard dog he is!!

    xx

Trish & Mo - we are going to check out the baby market today, so we might see you there! I know what you look like Mo, so I wont miss you!

Nick - Gosh you sound like you have had a really rough week. Bet it was hard to be without seeing the boys for 4 days. I bet they are really glad to have you home, as would you would be to be home. Hope you pick up and get back to your normal self soon x

Amelia - How exciting to be getting your dog back, I am sure that he will be happy to be home with you all.

Julia - Good luck with the show today and pop in and say hi before you head back to Singapore again! I know you will probably be busy getting organised.

Saffi - Glad to hear you dont have gd, now you can just concentrate on growing that baby! How exciting!

to everyone else. We are having a bit of a lazy morning before we get dressed and go out and do something for the day. We have decided to stay in tonight, and not have anyone over. We have had one of those weeks, so some family time is just what we need!

Nickers - 4 days in hospital! That must have been some bad chook! I think in NSW they have a register for food poisoning and that place that you got it can go on this register and get investigated etc. Anyway, glad that you are feeling much better now.
Julia - good luck for the show.
Amelia - we'll need to do some furniture shopping when we move into our new house too. DH wants a new lounge, dining table, computer desk and bed. Don't think the budget will stretch that far. He may just have to settle for a computer desk at the moment.

How long does it take from getting the 18month vax to getting the money from the government? L had his done about a month ago so maybe they are just getting to it now. You don't have to complete any forms do you?

L is down for his nap so having a break and getting some housework done before we go off and do the shopping etc this afternoon.

    Have a good weekend everyone
