Pam: Litte Miss has a cold too. She slept most of yesterday I was tring to wake her up to empty my boob's, they got so BIG and SORE. She sound awful ATM, and I could kill the other children for giving it to her, but in a house where there are 5 other people and we eventure outside of the house, she was bound to pick something up. So I put Euky Bear (like Vick's) on her wondersuit, 'cos it doesn't give an age limit so not sure if it will burn her skin or not. Or I put some on my boob a little away from where she lackes on so she can smell it. But it seem to help her esp while having boobie.
* yes it is amazing how a little extra sleep will do for you...
Kate: Thanks for the mothers day best wishes... Same to you, and how you had a lovely one.
How long are the baby blue meant to last? I am putting it down to that or the start of PND, or PMS (putting up with men Sh*t).
I think it maybe the latter, am over DH not helping out. So I have stopped caring as well. The house look's like a bomb hit is, so house keeper will really her her money worth with week. I hardly make eye contact with DH or talk to him. I've notice it is away me talking, so now I have shut up to hear what he has to say which isn't alot. I am cranky at kiddies, and could honestly have 2-3 crys a day 'cos I am just that over it, there isn't anything I can do to change it as well. Ive tried be orgainsed but with 4 slob's in house it's hard. I swear I have OCD, esp regarding the floor. I can stand dirt etc on floor, and finding myself vacuuming twice a day.
Don't get me wrong I love DH and kiddies to death but am over there lazy ways and expecting everything for nothing. Maybe I am still going though the adjustment period of a new baby, raging hormones, or dealing with 3 other children who constainly fight.
Well if today stay dry I am heading out for a walk to town, and hopefully that will make me feel better... Down side is I have to take DS1 who has to walk or ride his bike and will wing as some point, to which I will walk of and leave him, running behind with his bike trying to catch up. (great now I am crying now, 'cos that is mean yet I am doing it)
Will be making appointment with Dr's this morning for lots of things will write him a list...
Sarah big hug honey, lets face it our bodies are still getting back to normal and the hormones have to settle as well. Cry I recone it's good for your soul. I must admit that I have been have extra cranky with han for no reason, poor kid, worst part is I know im doing it and can't stop it.
I only have two to deal with so I can only imagine how difficult it would be with 4. My man trys to help I think but he doesn't know what to do really so I have to tell him what to do with bub, otherwise he holds him for 5 mins freaks out when he crys and hands him back to me. Its frustrating as hell at times. He still wont do the housework which that in itself would be soooo appreciated, but he lies on the lounge while I run around like a freak, multitasking then he sleeps at night in another room so he is getting all the rest. Just aint fair. So I know where you are coming from.
Kate happy mums day to you too, and too all the mummies. My sisters hubby cooked us all lunch so that was sweet and the kids got me a convention oven which is fab and some new speakers for my comp. So I got spoilt.
I was very lucky with the kiddies and there recovery but han did have it for about 6 weeks in all, and no they wouldnt put lucas in hospital cos he didn't have a temp.It was the scariest thing ever but Im glad that they both recovered well Im just hoping that winter is kind!
I havent been getting emails to let me know people have posted and I had deleted all my emails that I had and couldnt find the link so I have been on here for ages looking for the link thinking that I might not find it, thankfully I did. I would of hated not being able to reply and you guys would of thought that I was just being a big snob ha
anyway better go bubs asleep han asleep and hubby at work Time for some me time
Love to all Becka xx ps have new internet connection so I will post pics tomorrow
Hey Becka: At least I am not the only one... Men and housework just don't compute... DH not that he ever does do it, but I have also set rule, like he isn't allowed to wash the dishes unless they have been in hot water soaking most the day, 'cos he doesn't scurb. Also No bathing baby in side sink while doing dishes. (muilti-tasking he said) Came home one day and her DS1 and DH were at sink. DH said DS1 did a poo and was every where so he thought he get once rather then twice. MEN...
I think I am getting better/happier/normal self again, but before little miss arrived I had plan to just chill out and relax at home, go for walks to town often but that has not seem to happen. I am out every day doing something. I think I need a few day in my PJ reading the Twilight Saga books again, with no stopping...
Office is trashed, and I might set that along with changing bed sheets on all beds today for only goals. (big office cr*p everywhere)
Sarah- just wondering how you are going? Hope all the sickness is going away. I love your pic! You have great ideas for photos. I click away lots, but need to get more creative. Can you make appointments to rest? So then you have to do it.
Bec- would love to see pics of your little one.
I got my first smiles from my little one yesterday! DH thought i was imagining it, but we both got some gorgeous ones last night. She is a real chatterbox too. Lots of gurgles and chats. She is still having trouble with her tummy, some days worse than others. Some days she sleeps, others not. Yesterday she was feeding lots, but the day before i don't think she got much because her tummy was sore. We have the MCH visit today, she didn't put on much weight last week so maybe she has caught up this week.
kate: i'm hanging in there... went to see dr, he possible thinks its could be start of PND...will chat more 2morro, got a wriggling bub in arms...
Little miss has started smiling and talking/chatting alot more too... it a great time when they start to interact with us...
hi guys,
just letting you know i put some photos on my profile page says if you click my name you should be able to view album. I cant work out how to put a link to them xx
Bec - he's Gorgeous!!! And Sarah - your pictures are beautiful too, like Kate said, so creative, very clever.
I'm still waiting for smiles, DS1 was cautious about giving them out, and DS2 seems to be taking after his brother. But the practice ones in his sleep are beautiful. I'm starting to feel like things might be evening out a little, but that might be because DS2 gave me a 6 hour sleep last night, and then went back into his own bed at the end of it, so for the first night in 6 weeks, or thereabouts, I didn't end up spending the last part of the night on the couch...
Kate - how are you going? Any "luck" with DD's weight gains?
Sarah - hope you're okay, and that your Dr has been useful. PND is a tough road, so hopefully you don't end up on it.
Hi to everyone else, sorry for lousy personals, but I think we all get it!
xx
J
Sarah- great to hear your little lady is smiling. Hope you doin ok.
Bec- your bub is gorgeous! I have the same 'Be kind to the Planet' onsie, it's so cute.
Bhoysgirl- it's so funny watching all the different faces the bubs make when they are asleep. i think sleep smiles are just adorable.
I had bub weighed today. Weight gains are still there, but pretty slow. 90grams in aweek, then 100grams and then this past week (6days) only 30grams. She has only been feeding from one breast most feeds so this week i am making more of an effort (and taking more time each feed) to try to get her to feed from both sides. Also booking in for a day stay at the breastfeeding clinic, to see if they can give us any tricks. Apart from this, bub is pretty happy, looks healthy, is playing and smiling and looking around lots, holds her head up. So, i'm not worried but am happy to receive advice that might help get weight gains on track.
Has anybody heard from Pam (blackduckies) or anybody else? Hope everyone is going ok.
I tried to post and it gone??? I am still around just Tilly has been so sick and i am so busy..be back soon with personals..at least i hope so!!!!
Hugs take care Sarah..xxooxx
I am here and getting there. Bub's has put on 800g since birth, she get the giggles now and then which sends us all into fit's of laughter.
Sorry I tried to post the other day and it didn't post. So I gave up. Computer has had virus but it's all free now. Will also do some peronsal abit later on.
I'm here girls but havn't been able to post anything...it wouldn't let me??? will be back with some personals soon but everything going along swimmingly here ;-)
Gee, is it's just me then not being about to post. I have notice it started when they updated forum. I have had to request me password be changed at least 4 time since change over as it wont log me in...
Well I am at wits end with Little Miss ATM. During the day she is perfect, it's when the other get home from school, she is awake and just wants her mum. Thank GOD for DD who loves to hold and talk to her. She also bore her to sleep for a cat nap which is fine while I run around getting those last thing I didn't get to finish or start during the day. Or gettting dinner done for other troops.
I know I could fix it by putter her in her egro and carry her around on me, but I just want to be able to get it done without a big bump infront of me. I feel like a I am pregnant again and is slows me down, when I just want to get it done... I think I have confused you all now.
I am over bedtime at night as well, it's a constant game off getting up feeding her after being put into her bed. Granted I think she is fully asleep when I put her down but within 5 mintues she is back up and wanting 'Mummy". For the last 2 nights I have gotten her to fully got to sleep with me feeding her in our bed lying down. Granted that is after 4-6 fail tried at the normal way. I think I will be calling in a sleep person, not she if we have them here is Tassie but I need help of the afternoon/night naps.
I can understand it from her, the house is noiser and mummy is busier and possible a little stress as time fly's by closer to things I havent gotten done. So she can feel the emotions coming out of me when all kids are at home, and the are normal fighting etc. Thank god today is just me her and DS2, so it should be a restfull day.
Hi everyone,
Sorry to hear that your having troubles with bubby Sarah, my first was a little poo and Lucas is just a dream baby, he goes to bed at 8pm and sleeps till 4am has a little suck then is back down till 6-7. I have now put him on formula as well as boobie, and he is thriving. I fed Hannah for 18 months and she was never really content and in a way it put me off breast feeding. Im still feeding Lucas though but it's not like I feel pressured that he isn't getting enough because I no with the bottle top ups he is. Boy I hope he stays a sleeper. I also don't have to pat him to sleep or anything he just lies there and doses off. Sorry to tell you it's all good but it just is.
I hope that you are all doing well take care love becka
Becka: My first and 3rd child where PERFECT. DS1 (2nd) he was good after I stopped rocking him to sleep. But little miss, it wouldn't bother me so much if I only had one or 2 but she is 4th, which mean the other also need attending to not just her.
If only DH was home earlier to help out I wouldn't be so stressed out. But I am getting there.. It could be alot worse and thank god it isn't that.
I'm glad to hear you and lucas are doing well, and hope that keeps up for you... Mine will get there it will just take longer.
