Yay! Now I can join a baby buddies group! I was in a different belly buddies group because bubs was due on March 23rd but came 15 days late on April 7th.

After being induced using a pessarie and syntocin drip our baby boy Angus Michael Austin arrived weighing 8 pounds 14.5 oz

Looking forward to meeting more new Mums on here

well, I kind of want to write a big post about nothing, but am on feeding alert as he's been asleep for 3 hours, and is stirring now, so pretty good chance that my time is limited.

Mum2Bxx - welcome to our group, and congrats on the birth of your little man.

Kate - thanks for your replies to my BFing issues, that BLA link was really helpful, and I'll definitely be trying it out, once I can get things fixed enough to be less painful.

Becka - loved your birth story in the pg thread, thanks for sharing.

Sarah - yay for having a little one who is fitting in so easily.

Pam - hope you're doing okay, any more dramas from your eldest DD, or is she keeping her head down for the time being?

MurraysMum - congrats on the safe arrival of Izzabella, so glad you beat the induction.

Apologies to those I've forgotten - writing this post off the top of my head, which is still pretty fuzzy.

Well, we survived our 1st day without DH on the scene, as he went back to work yesterday. And he had to work late, so didn't get home until after DS1 went to bed, so it was a long long day. I definitely need more practice at juggling everything, although I did manage to get both children fed, which is one thing.

And there's my baby alarm - take care, and enjoy those baby cuddles!

    Hi all,
How are we all going! Bubby Lucas is just adorable, he is sleeping more at night now which is wonderful and I don't hear boop from him in the day hardly, he loves the noise of Hannah running around, so Im glad he can tolerate that and I vaccumed and he handled that as well, bring on the white noises hey!
Hannah has accepted him too and has from day one, she is filling the role of big sister and loves getting his nappies. It's funny the one really put out is our dog but even he is settleing now.
mum2Bxx welcome to our group, 15 days over due wouldn't of been fun. I hated being 4 days over.
Sarah your bub pics are gorgeous, she is beautiful. How do I put a link to my facebook photos on here?
Murraysmum: Yeah she finally made a safe appearance, hope it all went well for you, how is Murray going with bubby around?
Time for me to tottle jug has boiled going to make a cuppa and then feed the little man xx

    Morning all,

I thought I posted in here the other day to get email update's but didn't. Anyway, catch-up time... I am shocked with how many of us still made it into this group. Last group I was in most went early or on time.

Kate, gee you are on the ball with update all the info and stuff to new thread... Good on you. How is Abby doing? Oh I got my baby ticker from lily-pie. I think they have a wide range of tickers to create.

BG: Most people have BFing issues. Gee this is my 4th and I still had the midwives just making sure I had her on right. And you know what she isn't on to what the boys where, (there were pigs) but it's not painful and I have no blisters and see seems to be putting weight on so I am not fazed...Hand in there, it's a tough process to deal with along with everything else our bodies have had to do in the last month.

Becka: That's great new's hannah has accepted Lucas. Kendell is the same, likes to noise of the boys. And you know what the only time they get told to be quite is of a night time after her bath. But apart from that, she joined our family which was busy and loud before she came along so she has to get used to it.
Facebook link, if you go into your facebook ablum and go right down the bottom of page it should say something "if you want to share this ablum with friends who are not of facebook" then there is a link below it. Just COPY and PASTE that in your next post...
Thanks regarding photos. Her professional ones should be back to me this week, and I can't wait, to see how they turned out, yet I am going to do some more of my own with her, and Photograpgher didn't bring any prop's, and I though he isnt going to use mine and take credit for it, like he has done with my posing ideas. So i will do some on saturday with her when DD is home to help... I got angle wings, a pod to put her in, different hats etc. I can't wait...

Pam: How is life now? How is Tilly doing? I assume she had lots of check-up after her birth 'cos of her kidney, what did the Dr's say they are going to do???

    Me update:
Well I am just hanging in there most days. When DS1 is home DS2 is terrible and I could just put him in his cot to cry all day, but when DS1 at school DS2 is perfect and is my fav child.
I have been trying to get oraginsed with slower cooker on in morning which helps but kids all want me at the same time when I want to start cooking dinner etc. This is the time DH should be at home helping me feed & bath kids, but is either working late, or at mates helping him with his race truck. They go racing in June up in NSW I think, so he wants to go think it's a 7 day trip and I said if that's what he wants then go, I am not his mother and does not need to ask permission, only that he consider's his family first.

Which annoys me a bit, nothing changes in his life yet mine is turned upside down and as a woman/mother I just have to cope 'cos who else is around to do it. I think I still have baby blue's. I just hope it doesnt turn into full blown depression I don't have time to deal with it ATM. Am getting out of the house most days, even if just a walk down to shop to grab something to snack on...

Kendell is doing wonderfully, she has a bath around the 7:30ish mark then warpped up and boobie and off to bed by about 8pm. Then wakes up for a (sleep) feed around 12-1 for about 5-10minutes, then back to bed, then another (sleep) feed at around 4:30-5am then down until roughly 8-9am. Depending on what we have to do, walk DS1 to kindy then just bung her is coccon and pop in the pram under DS2. As long as she is wrapped up she will sleep like an angle, when she isnt she wake's herself from her own reflex's. Oh, she doesn't fit into 0000 bond suits anymore, but 000 bond are hugh, so we have moved over to Target brand and fits wonderfully in 0000 and still look little...

Anyway I better go, got brekkie dishes to do and washing to be put through the dryer then folded...

Hey Becka: At least I am not the only one... Men and housework just don't compute... DH not that he ever does do it, but I have also set rule, like he isn't allowed to wash the dishes unless they have been in hot water soaking most the day, 'cos he doesn't scurb. Also No bathing baby in side sink while doing dishes. (muilti-tasking he said) Came home one day and her DS1 and DH were at sink. DH said DS1 did a poo and was every where so he thought he get once rather then twice. MEN...

I think I am getting better/happier/normal self again, but before little miss arrived I had plan to just chill out and relax at home, go for walks to town often but that has not seem to happen. I am out every day doing something. I think I need a few day in my PJ reading the Twilight Saga books again, with no stopping...

Office is trashed, and I might set that along with changing bed sheets on all beds today for only goals. (big office cr*p everywhere)

Oh I had DD work the camera the other day to get my BEAUITFUL shot of little miss hold DH wedding ring. Check it out it is so CUTE...

Hope you all have a nice, stress free day today...

Sarah- just wondering how you are going? Hope all the sickness is going away. I love your pic! You have great ideas for photos. I click away lots, but need to get more creative. Can you make appointments to rest? So then you have to do it.

Bec- would love to see pics of your little one.

I got my first smiles from my little one yesterday! DH thought i was imagining it, but we both got some gorgeous ones last night. She is a real chatterbox too. Lots of gurgles and chats. She is still having trouble with her tummy, some days worse than others. Some days she sleeps, others not. Yesterday she was feeding lots, but the day before i don't think she got much because her tummy was sore. We have the MCH visit today, she didn't put on much weight last week so maybe she has caught up this week.

    Hope everyone is well.

I'm still around. Not sure what my little one is doing. We were doing no day sleeps with maybe a couple of catnaps if Mum was lucky but sleeping well at night. In the past week, we have had some good day sleeps in her cot (instead of the hammock), but now she is playing during the night. Not sure which is better!

The bathroom reno is definitely happening. They prob starting in a week or two and will take 2-3 weeks. Not looking forward to the building but looking forward to the spa when it's done!

Rach: Your welcome. Yes I can still manage not alot of time, but I do get on her now and then. The 2 older children are at school, and the 2 little ones are at home. I am sad to say yes I let the TV babysit my DS 2 while I am running around cleaning the house and doing DH business paper work etc. There is no right or wrong way, it's what works best for you at the time, and it will change.

Kate: I find thoughs days the toughest... So that is when little miss goes into her bed to grizzle/cry. Granted I don't let her get worked up, but there were days she would carry one for 45mins. Now thank god she has got in her little head "if mum puts me in here I might as well go for a nap,
'cos no matter how much I grizzle and call out for her she isn't coming back in until I have a nap". Now she is a dream to put down.
Granted she is still in her bassinette, and I plan to get as much out of that before I move her to her cot. Only 'cos she is the last and I wont be having another one to fill the bassinette again...

Well best be off we have commuinty ohouse today, DS2 loves it, and it gets me out of house and talking to other people. just waiting for sheets to finish is washing machince so I can hang them out before I go.

Have a Lovely day to all...

Kate sorry to hear your having sleeping troubles, those days are tough just when you think you have it sorted they change again.

Sarah even though DS is only 4 months he loves Sesame Street so I sometimes put him in his jumperoo to watch so I can get some housework done

Rach, hope all goes well tomorrow. needles suck!

We have a jolly jumper thing here, your previous post reminded me - might get it out tomorrow and see if my little one likes it.

My little one had a 3 hour sleep this morning- bliss! We then went to a BB meet today at a play centre, and I also got a letter from the hospital so it's been a pretty good day. When we were at the play centre, Miss Daisy had a poo-splosion. I went to change her nappy but had to remove multilayers. I had spare clothes in the car, but the bag i had brought in only had nappies & wipes. SO, i just took everything off, changed the nappy and then put just the clean denim overalls over the top, bib back on & took her back out. Then i wondered if that made me a bad Mum!

Yay for sleep Kate Glad you had a good day. Gotta love those poo-splosion's all sorts of fun for everyone especially in winter when they are dressed in a million layers.
