Hannah - thanks for the feedback on Hug a Bub. I think it would be a good idea for me to try it out first if posible. The other thing I'm worried about is that Matilda wil feel her movement restricted too much. She hates being wraped or restricted.

Alison - deary, deary me. Silly DH. Surely he should be able to see that picking this girl up at all hours is "inappropriate". He probably sees no problem because he doesn't think anything of this girl. I'm sure its all completely innocent but its still really inconsiderate. BTE I forgot to reply toyour question about the bambooty nappies. I dont' think I'd put them in the wash with normal clothes. I just wait until there's a load of them and that doesn't take long! They do take a bit of drying though which is the downside.

Willow, how's it going? Is Harry becoming more settled? And I've been meaning to ask, how is motherhood this time around after such a big break between kids? Is it different being older?

Hi everyone else!! Hope you're bubs are being kind to you.

Well it's been a pretty full on 24 hours. Th pamphlet they gave me after her immunisation yesterday said she could be a bit "unsettled and grizly. More like hysterical. The poor little thing was SO unhappy. After I calmed her down weirdly the only thing that did it was reading Winnie the Pooh) if I even tried to shift position she would scream. She has never been like that. This morning was a completely different story. Lots of smiles and a big sleep. But then this afternoon she refuses to sleep and is getting really grumpy. DH is out taking her for a walk right now. I really hope she doesn't get hysterical again.

But you know what. I LOVE being a mum. This has been the best thing I've ever done. DH broke my heart the other day when he said that if he'd known what it meant he would have done it all much earlier. I've only been bugging him to do it for years now LOL. Well I should go and do something about dinner while I don't have a baby on my boob!

BTW Perth girls, I think I'm coming back for a couple of weeks at the end of February so maybe we could all catch up.
