Tilda, that is a great idea since Eva likes to be walked around! So I guess the bouncing is similar..DH just said last night that we ought to go buy a ball for that exact same reason so now since you're saying it works, we'll def get one ! She won't let us sit down otherwise! - as for the sleeps, don't stress - the exact same thing happenned to me when I started burping her correctly and now she goes down twice a day for 2-4 hours each time - let her sleep, she is probably catching up on all the sleep she has lost to gas in the past. It is good because she will wake up very hungry and eat a lot more, giving you more time between feeds...Once Eva started sleeping longer she started eating more when waking up then spacing out her feeds more - this might just be the turning point for you! I was worried too the first two days and though she would not sleep at all at night, but she slept with no problem. It is amazing how much the pain and gas bothers their sleep! Poor little things. WHen I think of how much she suffered before I figured all this out...

Suz, I"m on the mini pill...I don't see any wierd stuff happenning though I am breaking out but that could also just be from the hormones after pregnancy - seems my glowing skin and thick hair are going back to normal. I did have two days of bleeding randomly at the beginning though (and a period one week after I stopped bleeding from the birth, so it did give me one random non period bleed...but since then, nothing...I can't do condoms. I just can't. Plus we do it when we can get it and there is no time for fetching condoms and always DTD in the same place I just don't trust Bf as enough of contraception and could not handle being preg again just yet. I want to get back to some type of routine before getting all into it again and lose some weight. But if you don't mind getting preg soon, then don't worry about it.

9 hours wow! Last night Eva fed at 10 and slept until 2AM then until 6 am and I am happy for that! I dream of 9 hour breaks Post that pic, that sounds so cue the two of them in bed together

Lani yay on the rest! Even just having Eva in her room is already helping me since I don't wake for every noise (only when she actually is loud enough to trigger the babyphone to work)...So I can imagine you muist feel great!

Sesame, your mother's insticts are all that matter - we are here to discuss our babies and all but you and Liam know what works best for him so do whatever you do as long as he's happy - I figured that out pretty early on because advice, everyone has, but when you're with your baby 24/7 you know what works or doesn't! 1KG, wow! you go girl!

And I am just like you - I let Eva do what she feels. I trust her to get into a rythm eventually but let her do what she feels. It is not free spirited, just a certain way of doing things. Some people do on demand and some do routine...Routine would not work with Eva, so I do what feels right for her. There is no wrong way and I am sure you're doing exactly what Liam needs. Eva is difficult so I let her decide for exactly that reason - I cannot bear to wake her when she is finally ASLEEP!!! and as she is so unsettled (or shoudl I say WAS) with gas and stuff, I didn't have the heart to wake her when she was finally resting.

Speaking of that, Tilda, she is down for another one of those naps - going on 2.5 hours...Maybe Matilda is heading towards the nice period now I would wait it out and see how today and tomorrow goes. Waking her is probably not necessary, but of course, do as you feel, but don't stress - the same thing happened to me and I was worried! We are so used to them being difficult that we stress when they are doing well!

AFM - FIL lent us his gorgeous camera and I have been snap happy with Eva for three days now - I posted tons of new pics and they are gorgeous! I am so happy tohave such nice pictures and will keep going nuts and photographing her since this new camera is really good and takes gorgeous high quality photos!

I have a nice one of me breastfeeding, but I don't want to post it on FB...but I am happy to finally have one where I am actually showered and looking decent!

Eva is having another calm day as has been the case for the last week although last night she did have some gas, but nothing super painful - just farting a lot!!! I hope it passes.

She slept in her room beautifully again...Went down at 10, woke up at 2AM and 6AM...so I got some decent sleep, then brought her over to my bed at 9 for a feed and dozed off a bit more until 11 together - I feel good - Luckily, I got some rest since I train today - My body will hurt tomorrow! Since cutting the dairy and eating soups and salads every day I feel like my body looks much better, although the scale has not budged...I guess the puff is going down, and then the rest will follow eventually...

    Big kisses!

    xoxo
