    Hi girls,

BS - your pics are gorgeous! It must be a fancy camera! Little Eva is really growing up, she's just a darling. Jack farts like a trooper, too. Sometimes he lifts both legs and lets one rip that is loud enough to sound like an adults! Makes me laugh every time.

sesemeseed - go the power yoga! You'll be back to your old stretchy self in no time. And perhaps Liam is just going through a growth spurt? Jack was "snacking" like that for about four days and then it went back to normal.

Alison - did you get the cot barrier? I have one of those, you've prompted me to put it on! And I love your FB pic of you, DH and Amelia in the pool. Such a nice family pic.

Tilda - As soon as I see Jack making tired signs I wrap him up and put him down for a sleep. He sleeps a lot during the day and I find that if he does we don't get him crying and carrying on during "arsenic hour". If he has been overstimulated, however, we have a cranky baby. It varys but I find he sleeps on average 2.5 hours at a time? Sometimes more but that's about normal for him.

Lani - how do you get such long feeds during the night? Are you still BFing? I'm that jealous! And, at what age are you planning the christening? We are going to have to do the same.

ATM - Feeling good today because Master Jack and I slept in til 10am! Was lovely seeing that we had a bad night - a prank caller kept ringing me and whispering weird creepy stuff. "What are you wearing" and "Guess what I'm doing right now" kind of thing. Ewww. I got DH to answer and the guy was silent for a bit then was whispering all this queer stuff. I was actually scared in the end and didn't sleep for two hours. What a nutter! I rang mum this morning to tell her and she said that when he asked what I was wearing I should have been honest with him - an oversized rugby tee with milk stains all down the front. Sexy!

It's raining in Sydney today and I'm tossing up whether I should drive up to mum's tomorrow. I was planning to leave really early but if it's super wet (as they are predicting) I don't think it would be safe. DH has to stay here and work.

Anyway, how is everyone today? Is anyone else planning their christening soon? Or are you not bothering? A naming day, perhaps?

    xx

Carmey - Oh my gosh that is so creepy about your prank caller! I would have been terrified!
    I like you're Mum's idea though.
We're not really planning anything christening/naming day wise. They have a day here later in the year at the local park called "Welcoming the Babies". They have sausage sizzles and clowns etc, it seems pretty nice. Each of the babies gets a certificate welcoming them to the community, and a small tree to plant in the park. It seems really nice, so we'll probably tell family and friends to come to that.

AFM - I am absolutely buggered. We had our exercise class at the hospital today, and the nearest park I could find was a 15 min walk away, so I got an extra half hour in pushing the pram that I wasn't expecting. Then we headed of to Aldi with Mum to do the groceries, and Liam filled his pants pretty much the moment we walked in the door and was grizzly for the rest of the shopping trip. Fun. Anyways, we're home now, I've been collapsed on the couch for the last hour recovering.

DH has gone off for a job interview this afternoon. I really hope he gets it. He's a carpenter and the only work he's been able to find since the good ole' GFC is maintenance work, which he hates. He wants to get back into building and renovations. Oh, he just called sounding very happy....fingers crossed!

Carmey, it is a very nice camera, but it weighs a freaking ton! So I probably won't be venturing out of the house with since the stroller is enough weight to carry! - but it does take great pics so I am happy for that since I was not happy with the simple pics I was taking before. There is just something cleaner about these. Here's hoping I don't break it lololol! Your latest pictures look like they are taken with a very nice camera as well. I especially love the ones where he is swaddled

So creepy about that caller...does his number come up as blocked? Maybe you can have your phone provider block blocked numbers? I am sure it is just some idiot that will eventually stop. Have DH pick up any wierd calls from now on...that shoudl stop him eventually.

Sesame...some days are just harder than others. Speaking of that, I have another physio appt today and am leaving Eva home with MIL...Last time she managed to keep me out of the hour lesson for 45 mintues...and I had to pay for the full hour so am not risking it again. We just have to keep getting out and doing stuff and eventually it will be easier...At this point though it feels like Russian Roulette doesn't it? Keeping my fingers crossed for DH!!!

Another night of heaven...Eva stayed with MIL while I went to work out (man, I was tired and sweaty last night! But I was very happy to see that I could run/speed walk for one hour without getting crampy or out out of breath! so I think I'll get there!)...I got in around 6:30pm, fed her then she went down for a nap at 7 - I prepared her bath and everything and she just did not wake up! DH and I waited a bit then we watched a movie and she did not get up until 11:30 PM for a feed! Her nappy leaked though since I did not change her assuming she would be up in half an hour for a bath...My first nappy leak ever...Then she went right back down to sleep until 3:30 the up at 6:30...the 8 and is now back down asleep since 8:30...

Does anyone else have their baby feeding more in the morning. Eva spaces out her night feeds and even her late afternoon feeds, but in the morning she seems to be at it every hour and a half or two hours...anyone else getting this???

Today I have the physio and hop eto do an hour on the eliptical...I feel better now that I am getting more sleep!

    xoxo

    Hi Girls!

Carmey - OMG! I hope that guy stopped calling. Did you have to take any action? I like your Mum's suggestion too. I presume he blocked his number, no one would be stupid enough to prank call from their own number would they? Even if the number's coming up as private I'm sure the telco can trace it. We aren't religious so we didn't baptise Craig, we just had a big party for his 1st birthday. DH is keen to do some kind of naming day for Ryan, even if it's just a BBQ at our house. I love Sesame's 'local community naming day 'Welcoming the Babies'. I wish we had something like that here.

Sesame - Well done with your exercise today! You rest up, you've earned it. And good luck to your DH with the job.

BS - Perhaps you could take Eva, the stroller and the camera out and that could be your weight training for the day! Even the 30 mins a day of Wii Fit I'm getting is making me feel like I'm sleeping better and have more energy. I'm not game to do an hour yet or even venture out of the house to exercise, but you go girl! Just don't overdo it OK? Ryan feeds more often (I call them cluster feeds) in the late afternoon and early evening, rather than in the morning like Eva. I guess he's gearing up for bedtime. Looks like it's the mini-pill for me to, I can't do condoms either.

Tilda - I'm like BS and don't worry about how long the day sleeps are. Ryan sleeps well at night so I see no need to wake him during the day.

AFM - The 9 hours was a one off. We were back to the usual 6 hours and 3.30am wake up last night. Got my Wii Fit in today. My Mum, Brother and his Fiance all visited, which was lovely. Mum stayed for dinner and was a great help with the boys. Then after dinner DH took Craig out to visit some friends, so I've had some quiet time with just Ryan. Tomorrow is immunisation day for Ryan.

Thanks to everyone who posted about a friend who fell pregnant while BFing. I know I didn't last time, but I don't want to fall pregnant (eeeeeew! Ryan just did the biggest spew on me, right between the boobs!) until Ryan is at least 12 months old, so it looks like the mini-pill for me.

Better go and clean myself up!
