Hannah - Going by your fb update this mornign I'm guessing you're not having any luck on the sleep front? Thats fantastic to hear Amelia is thriving in day care. I really do think it does them good to be with other people like that, they get stimulated in other ways that we can't provide for them.
Tilda - I hope you're all back to full health now after the gastro. Did the godmother end up getting sick?
Alison - oh I soooo know what you mean with those comments through the baby. Irritates me no end. I'm scared I'll snap back one day!
Rose - thanks for the support I have my first counselling session on Thursday, so nervous! I hope you're all better after your cold. Oh dear, we haven't him the tantrum stage here yet...but I'm sure its not too far off, he does protest if we take something off him. Poor Liam sounds like he's having a rough trot with those nasty teeth. Don't you wish there was an easier way they could get teeth? Why does it have to be so painful for them?
Willow - How is Harry going? Is he sleeping any better?
Hello to everyone else!
AFM - still in the throes of sorting out daycare...seems like we MIGHT be getting somewhere. I've found a lovely lady not far from here who has just got a vacancy on a Monday, I get a real good feeling about her and she was just so lovely over the phone. I haven't had a good feeling about anything to do with daycare so far...surely thats a good sign? But the problem is work had said to not come in on a Monday or a Friday...so I'm just sorting out with them now if I can still come in on a Monday. I spoke to my boss this morning and he seems confident that it will be ok, but just has to check with HR. Fingers crossed!!!
Had a few funny days with Michael...he only had 2 30 min naps yesterday, most unlike him. He woke up really crying from each one and wouldnt resettle. So I took him for a walk in the pram and he started crying a few times then as well, v strange as he normally loves going for walks. And he's gone back to waking at 8pm then 9pm again. Really wierd. But luckily he's been sleeping through the rest of the night.
Has anyone dropped a feed yet, after introducing solids? Also...any idea's for something interesting I can give him for breakfast? I've only really given him baby cereals and pureed fruit. I tried weetbix once but it gave him the runs a bit.
