yep DD2 shell!! we've been going well at night, doing 9-10 hrs straight, last night was up at 1am and 4am, but she didnt really settle after 4am, ive been awake since then :o need toothpicks today!!
kaz eek on the houseguest i hope he behaves!!
Crap night here too. I will come back when I can function. But it was not E, it was J. Up every hour, crying and playing around. It is def a behaviour and always happens after he has been sick
We have had a crap night too! Wouldn't settle until 9.30pm, just really restles and then woke at 1am and 5am!!! Think I might try to have a nap on couch when L goes for his morning nap,
Holly- Good luck with the house hunting, I too loved looking through house inspections such an eye opener to how other ppl live!!!
Kaz- Good luck with the house guest!!
Olive- Strong coffeee....hope it helps
Shell- love the advice about leaving DH with the kids, sometimes I just don't think men will ever get it...
Nai- GL with the Jay gordan stuff, is sort of working in our house, I just must not give in to feeding.
Ali- Good on ya for cleaning....must admit though my machine doesn't get nearly as dirty as it used to now I use liqud not powder.
L is pulling himself up onto his kness atm, and into everything he also gets cranky if we tell him no, yesterday I was in the bath and he was trying to touch the hot tap, I tolf him no and he dropped the bottom lip and cried!! I can't believe how much he is starting to understand, they grow just too quick....
 meg
pinny go L!!! M's favourite thing inthe bath at the moment is standing up
i give in to feeding too :( though going to try and not too tonight, DH is only home one more day
omg im seriously at the end of my tether :( just when i think sleep is getting better it gets worse. yesterdays morning sleep=20 mins todays=30 mins, im just getting beyond it now
Cr@p night here too!! J went down ok at 7pm, woke at 8 and didn't go back until 9 - then woke at 12.30am (fed and settled as per the plan), then woke at 3am and every 15 minutes between then and 4.30am when she woke completely and screamed until 6am. DD1 moved into bed with Daddy and I slept in the toddler bed (yes it is the size of a cot!) in the girls room. Miss J eventually screamed herself to sleep in my arms while punching me in the head - Dr Jay was right, they really DO get angry being denied bb!!
 to everyone else who had a crap night!
Kaz - I hope you get through your houseguest visit unscathed. If he gets too much just let J scream for a few nights ;) The dishwasher still stinks a bit but nowhere near as much!
Pinny - Miss J is pulling herself up on everything and is doing the standing inthe bath as well! Must be the age for it :D Although if I tell Miss J "No" she LAUGHS at me - hmmm bad sign I think!
 sounds like we all had a crap night
we where out at some friends house and m slept in my arms :o hasnt done that since she was about 6 months
 girls for all the crap nights going round in here. I so sympathise. We had an ok night last night for a change - DS actually resettled himself without any parental intervention when he woke at 10:30pm!!! Fed then at 1 and 4 I think. Hard to remember.
Olive - DS day sleeps have been fruited too lately - very short, very unsettled, hard to get him down etc etc. This morning he didn't go down until 10:30am after getting up at 7am (he normally only stays awake 60-90 mins that first cycle of the day).
Lilima - wonder what it is about being sick that triggers the behaviour afterwards for J?? Is it the extra attention he gets when sick? Or is he seeking reassurance? I bet lots of kids his age do the same thing. You must be so tired!
Holly - I feel the same way about work. I'll have been away for over 12 months by the time I go back and so many staff will have changed and both my direct colleagues are "new" but I will seem like the new one cause I haven't worked with them yet (although have been in the field for 10 years). I worry I will forget how to do stuff too. I'm sure it'll be like riding a bike ;)
Shell - He's often a quiet drinker but it can bring out the paranoid side to his personality (he's a bit narcissistic plus has had mental health issues in the past). If that happens he'll scream the town down. He's a good mate of DP's from school but he's just broken up with his 22 y.o g/friend on Xmas eve and so I think will be hitting the drink hard. I am prepared to lay down boundaries though with DS in the house. Hopefully he'll be respectful of that.
GTG - DS whinging cause he's tired and won't sleep.
ETA - hahaha! After whinging that he would not go to sleep, DS has been down since 3:30pm! Debating whether to wake him up. We're normally up to the bath at this stage! He'll probably sleep til midnight!!
I'm lucky in a way with the fact Emily has her "blankie" to sleep, as long as she has it she self settles. If she doesn't I'll make her a bottle in the night but blankie has been a lifesaver.
Kaz- Thats the tricky part when there is mental health issues also, the few ppl I know with mental health probs also have either some sort drug or alcohol dependancy and I see how each thing affects the other, not good sometimes. Hope he is ok, good idea on laying down the rules.
Nai and Olive- try keep telling yourselves that you are getting to the top of that hill, they are fighting it but you are nearly there and going to slide down the other side, hope tonight is better.
Meg- when you went to the paed did he say anything on the behaviour side of probs? Any good advice from him?
Pinny- hope you got that nap! Yeah they do understand so much now, as soon as I say no she stops dead and stares at me and isn't impressed.
Left the girls with Df today and list just few simple jobs to get done, of course they weren't done. Now I know ppl think I should be happy he is looking after them but i think so he should he's there dad and if he can't do simple day to day things then it means I have to rush round and try do it all. I just think about when I go back to work how I will still have to do everything I do now but will have so much less time to do it in. How hard is it to watch/ sterilise bottles, give floor quick sweep and tidy kitchen?
I hear your pain Shell. It is the same here with simole things not getting done. I have to work tomorrow - Oh and it is our 7 year anniversary tomorrow too. 4 years ago tomorrow, james was concieved.
J appears to have sleep apnoea. (SP) Not really bad, buthe does stop breathing in his sleep. After being sick, an d with problems with his ears and throat, I think it triggers the apnoea. So maybe that's why he wakes?? For a while there we weren't hearing boo from him till morning (and miss E was playing up) Now not hearing from E, but he is waking, Knowing myluck I will have both of them upo tonight :(
Nai - Did you sleep at all while in the toddler bed? You poor thing!
Olive - wishing you a better night tonight.
Kaz - What time did he wake?
Pinny - E also gets cranky when you say no!
Holly - When I am around E is booby all the way, but she takes a bottle fine from others when I am not there. I can't be bothered with expressing, and it doesn't seem to affect my supply.
Well my sister still really isn't well. She is still in MBU (Been 2 weeks now) She is now having anxiety attacks when thinking about going out. She is scared to leave the unit. I really beleive that her husband is half the issue, as he says things in front of her like, he is never having any more kids as this is all to hard etc. it breaks my heart to see her struggle. i just want to take her and her bub and bring them here. I can get up to the baby. heavens knows i am already up anyway!! oh and they have put her on a bottle now.
Also my Grandmother is quite sick. She is 88, and is just tired and old. I honestly don't know how much longer she will be here. I will be devastated, as I am very close to her. I speak to her at least twice a week, and see her once a week.
Hi ladies,
Meg, sounds like you are having a rough trot with DS, your sister and your grandma. Really hope it all gets better for you soon hun!
Do you think now that her DD is on the bottle, you might be able to look after her a bit?? That would be so lovely of you. Once she is up to leaving the MBU that is. Can you have a word to the husband??
Shell - I hear you. While I was at the wedding DH rang me and said "I was feeling better so I did that load of nappies and also washed the sheets" - well he washed them, I get home and there's two loads of wet washing not hung out, a houseful of dirty dishes, no DRY nappies and no new sheets on the bed! At least he's trying. He has told me that when I go back to work he will help more, pick up some slack... we will see!
Really hope DP pulls a bit more weight when you're back at work! When do you go back? I am going back tomorrow week, eeeeek!!
Kaz - did J wake up?? 2hr nap, that's impressive!Hope he's gone down well for you tonight. Hope it goes well with your houseguest too... don't really have any words of wisdom sorry!
Olive - DD will still go to sleep in my arms, eventually... but if we are out somewhere, only if she is exhausted! Too much to look at otherwise!! Hope you have a good night tonight hun! GL with the Dr Jay...
Confession... I went to his website and got so confused by it all, I didn't know where to click! Feel free to point me in the right direction...
Nai - hope you have a good night tonight too! Hopefully no more punching in the head...
Nai/Pinny/Olive - DD is always standing in the bath too! DH gets very frustrated by it.
She is a cheeky monkey - knows exactly what NO means - we have a wine rack that we've purposefully left where it is and she goes to touch the bottles of wine then looks to see if I'm watching, I say "No! Not for touching!" and she pulls her hand away but then slowly creeps it back again... already testing the boundaries!!
Holly - I left DD with mum on NYE and with formula, for the first time, as trying to express for her before I left was just stressing me out. She loved it! Like someone else said (Nai?? maybe) she seemed to think it was a different drink - she hasn't turned off the boob at all. She had a massive feed when I came home.
I think when I go back to work I will try one expressed bottle (will take my pump to work - should get one bottle if I express twice) and have a formula as backup. She still has four feeds during the day (7, 11, 3, 7 or thereabouts) so she will miss two feeds. And she is pretty regular with them so I don't think I will bother getting mum to try and stretch her out so she is only on EBM.
Going back to work freaks me out too. Like you - lots of changes in our team including new manager, so will be very interesting. I also have to tell them I am pg again!!
Good luck with the househunting!
AFM: woke up yest morning feeling very average and yep, the gastro hit me too. Thank goodness DH was here - he took DD all day, I basically migrated between the couch, the bed and the loo  Double thank goodness he had it first and got some maxalon - I think that definitely helped. Feeling much better today thankfully! My sister (36wks pg) had it and was almost hospitalised so I was desperately trying to stay hydrated and not end up like her...
All better now which is good as DH is back to work tomorrow. I think DD's other top tooth is pushing through... she has been grizzly and a pain to get to sleep all day today. Asleep now... we'll see how long she sleeps for.
Interested to know what everyone else is planning for the big first birthday extravaganza???? Looks like we will be doing ours on Valentine's Day due to other family functions so we're thinking about doing breakfast/brunch to allow people to do stuff in the arvo/evening.
Does that sound good to you guys??
Re the work thing its funny cause both times now that I have gone on mat leave there has been huge changes, when I went back after Ash I only knew half the staff.
OP- I go back thurs and friday thsi week, will do 2 days a week but varies. Its just once Df is back at work I will have to do arvo shifts which is 1pm til 9:30pm so if I am up with the girls at 7 or so its a very long day. How many days will you be doing? We gonna do BBQ for the 1st b'day, just close frineds and family.
Meg- thats very sad, does she live alone or in care? Its so hard, my gran went into a nursing home recently as her dementia has gotten terrible. Grandparents are so special.
As with your sister do you think you could have quiet word with her hubby? Just point out those comments are not very helpful but try word it nicely so he doesn't feel its an attack on him? Maybe see if she can get weekend leave and have her come stay with you, show her she can cope outside of the hospital? Good luck.
Oh and congrats for your wedding anni tomor! Tomor is 4 years since we got our BFP with Ash, I remember like it was yesterday.
Good luck to everyone going back to work this week! I have 4 weeks to go and I am already freaking out :( I wish there was a way we could afford for me not to go back but there isn't.
Shell - I know how you feel with the housework - will your DF help more when you go back to work? I have already told DP we are getting a cleaner when I go back as I am not doing it!
Meg - Happy Anniversary for tomorrow. I hope you can do something to support your sister - I think a quiet word to her DH could also be in order.
OP - I hope your gastro clears up soon. We are also doing Miss J and DD1's combined birthday party on the 14th Feb - we are doing it in the park and will prob be from 10-12 in the morning so that people can still do brunch and/or lunch around the party. We have 2 groups of kids to cater for so I am a bit worried about the logistics  but I think a morning party is perfect for a 1 year old.
were doing a birthday brunch on the sunday 21st starting around 9.30am to beat the heat!
 to all going back to work, its hard to believe the time has come for so many
meg i hope things improve with your sister, J and your nan.
shell i didnt get out today, did you get t ime to have a cuppa by yourself??
nai a combined party sounds great!
OP poo on the gastro, glad your feeling better.
AFM hoping for a better night with M
My Grandma is very lucky and lives with my Grandpa (who is still very fit and well) and my Aunt (But she works full time) so she has a lot of support.
We are going to do an arvo tea for E's birthday, then I will make a pub booking for anyone who wants to stay on for dinner, so I can get rid of them all :) (DH's friends have this tendency to hang around) Dh will prob go to the dinner, but I will stay home and clean up. We are doing it on Sat 20th. Any Melb girls are welcome to come! Oh and the only reason I am having a party is because we had one for DS's first birthday as we had just moved here and made it a housewarming as well. Otherwise I would have jsut had family, but as we did one for J, we thought we should do one for E.
Also does anyone else with girls find that you have all these pretty dresses that they can't wear, as they can't crawl properly in them??
meg i dont have any dresses for millie for that exact reason!!! hated that S had heaps and unless they are walking there useless!! though ive found a very cute one id love her to wear for her party but she wont be walking in time :(
OP i pm'd you the link!!
AFM i had some success last night :o M woke at 1.10am and i resettled, no boob, she wasnt impressed and the 30 second scream was ear piecing :o it took 70 mins of her crying every 10 mins to go to sleep, but she settled well each time, she then slept till 6.40am, so haaaaaaaaaaaaapppppyyyy though i imagine the next few nights wont be as easy!!
Meg, I bought Miss J a dress before Christmas as she wasn't moving - then she started crawling 2 days before Christmas and it was a pain!
Good work on the sleep Olive! Miss J went down at 8, woke at 11.30 and screamed for 2 hours! But eventually resettled without bb. Woke again at 5am and resettled without bb after 45min. Woke at 8. *YAWN*
Meg I had the same problem with my DD so many cute dresses but just not practicle at all. Won't have that problem with DS;)
Olive yay on the night, we had a shocking night, wouldn't settle until 10.30 would fall asleep on boob and then wake himself up as soon as he was transfered to cot...up at 1.40am and screamed till 3.30 even in my arms ended up offering bb but didn't help was so worked up..he is teething too he is getting his 6th tooth so maybe this didn't help either! going to make sure he settles self today...
Nai- sorry you had a bad night too, I was thinking of you and olive last night wondering how the girls were going....I just hope it gets easier,
Well I am going back to work in less than 6 weeks :o ! Noooo! Either one or two days, hopefully only 1. Yep, I think I'm convinced to use formula for the time I am at work, and it will only be one feed as I don't want to stretch him out without anything until mid afternoon and neither do I want to express as it's too stressful and time consuming! Thanks for all your helpful advice and experiences ladies :)
OP, hope you feel better soon  Lol at I's cheekiness!
Meg, so sorry to hear your sister is still sick. I really hope her hubby comes around and stops with the insensitive comments.
Nai, I'm more going back to work to retain the position otherwise if I don't go back now I would most likely lose it after 12 months of leave and will have to wait for an opening and reapply. Although the extra $$ will certainly be very helpful! I just really need a job to fall back on and can't afford to go job hunting again when I finally do need to go back.
Shell, congrats on your bfp anniversary tomorrow!! hehe that must have been such an awesome day!
Kaz, how long did J end up sleeping for? Did you miss the bath?? L missed his bath yesterday too coz he went to bed early! Hasn't had one in a while, the stinky thing
Speaking of baths, how often is everyone bathing them? Is it part of bedtime routine? We really have no set time/day/routine, just whenever! Never every day, but usually a few times a week.
Well some exciting news!! The house that we are interested in Dingley, the previous offer fell through and now they want our offer in writing :o Omg, I'm so nervous...I don't even know if this is what we want. It's a beautiful house but we haven't looked around a lot yet, but I'm scared if we let this one slip, then we won't find another one as good and we'll regret not buying this one!! Ahhhhh what do I do?!??!?!?! Okay breathe...lol!
Hi to everyone else...! xox
whats with all these babies and not sleeping??????
nai and pinny, i hope today/tonight is easier for all of us :grouphug:
pinny let me know if you want to catch up this week.
is M this only one with NO teeth
BBL off to a playcenter with just sophie this morning!
Shell - when I went in to see my new manager a few weeks before Chrissy I only knew two people there!!!!!
I'm going back three days - Mon, Thurs, Fri. Really want to try pumping and having enough EBM for Izzy but we'll see. Can't stress myself out about it but I am hoping when I'm not feeding DD, I will be able to pump more. When I tried expressing in between feeds recently I was getting diddly squat!
Holly - oooooh maybe it is meant to be this house??? I found that it was easier if I wasn't too attached to any particular house, then I didn't care so much if it fell thru. Maybe try that attitude! Good luck, so exciting!!
Re baths, we have one every night as part of bed routine, unless she is out of whack for some reason. She does love them and I think realise its part of getting ready for bed. When we are at my parents'/sister's house she has a bath with her niece, so cute!
Nai, pinny, you poor things with the screaming babies! DD did that when she was sick/teething, so hard. I am so grateful she generally sleeps, once she is asleep! It is the getting to sleep part that sucks!
Meg - yes, yes! Isabel's Christmas day dress was only on her for like half an hour as she kept tripping over it crawling! Its a bit better for her as she crawls on her feet, not her knees, so she doesn't get things too dirty but she catches her feet on things which sucks.
Hoping she can wear it for her bday too but if we are in park she'll get filthy! Maybe she'll be walking by then??
How close does everything think they bubs are to walking???
Thanks for all the bday info, I think we are doing the right thing. The only problem is how to do toast in a park??? Can you bbq toast?? Wonder if there would be power points??
Hope everyone has a restful day...
Hello everyone!!
Have been away for xmas and new year!!
Looking forward to catching up! Hope everyone is doing well!!
People keep buying DD dresses too! They're totally useless with the crawling, lol. Hopefully she's walking by her b'day and can wear one though, LOL.
Hi everyone!
Not sleeping well here either...I'm sure she is screaming at me telling me I'm not doing something right...but I don't know what??? She seems to find it so hard to settle and startle reflex is back??? Anyone know what that's about?
A has sooo many dresses and I agree..such a pain...her Chrissy dress lasted through lunch and then it was a nappy and tshirt...very classy lol!
I've just been into work too...was weird filling out more leave forms...but I guess having another bub gets me off the hook...for now! I feel your pain girls...holding onto a position is important though if it's going to make life easier in the long run I guess. I'll be in the same boat in 12 months time too.
Bath is part of our bedtime thing...have just bought a little blow up bath that fits in the big bath as we are on rain water and can't afford to fill up the big bath every night...A thinks it's a bit like a bouncy castle and spends more time on the edge than in it!!! Good fun though...maybe that's why she's not settling to sleep????
Better go attempt A's arvo sleep...wish me luck :)
Hey girls,
Holly - We bath every night too as part of dinner to bedtime routine. With the house - maybe it's just the right one? Sometimes you can look too long and too hard and you'll never get exactly what you want (unless you build and even then its a gamble). As long as it ticks all your major boxes I say go for it! Very exciting!
Nai - I want a cleaner now!!! It's a good idea to get one once you're back at work though. Might start campaigning for that now.....
Meg - So sorry about your sister not doing so well, and your grandma. What kind of treatment do they recommend for Js sleep apnoea?
Olive - No teeth here yet either!! I am happy about it as his biting during feeding hurts enough now as it is. I am dreading what he will do with teeth!
A big hello to Shell, Heaven, OP, Ellie! and everyone else.
AFM - DS woke up right after I finished the post last night (6pm). We went through the dinner, bath, boob routine but he would not settle and didn't go to sleep until after another boob feed at 9:45pm :o That is the first and last time he sleeps beyond 5pm!!!! The houseguest has actually been pretty good so far. I have to eat my words. He seems quite stable and is planning/starting to decrease his drinking so that's good.
We have a CFHN appt tomorrow for another weigh in - I am feeling a bit stressed about it because last month he only gained 30g so if it's a low number again tomorrow I'm worried they'll start talking about failure to thrive or something. I think he's fine and eats heaps (and bfeeds 6-7 times a day) and for a kid who can't crawl yet, he is go-go-go all the time. Very busy!
As for the party - haven't gotten that organised to even think of it yet  but we have until the 11th March which is a bit longer than most of you.
Hope everyone (including us!!) has a good night sleep wise tonight!! I am over the 2 hourly wake ups. Last night DS took nearly an hour between 3-4am to resettle :wall:
Kaz- does he seems happy and settled? I'm sure if he was not getting enough you'd know about it. Some children just naturally don't put on much weight, you should've seen me as a kid, scrawny skinny thing. Good luck with the weigh in.
Ellie- DD1 used to do that to me, it was as tho she was fighting sleep so everytime she started to drift off would startle awake. She wasn't a very good sleeper. Hope it improves. Its funny you back at work filling forms to leave again very soon!
OP- I'm assuming between feeds now you can't express cause your supply so settled to just what you need. Once you've missed a feed or 2 at work you prolly will have better chance of getting something out.
Olive- you may be only toothless left! We still have half the other side still hasn't come thru. Its nice sometimes to go out and have one on one time with toddlers, well pre schoolers now they're 3!
Holly- we prolly bath 5 days out of 7, other days we have sponge down with bucket water. Its just easier to throw both girls in the bath, when Ash was a baby I prolly only bathed her twice week, she had probs with dry skin so not good to do every day. How is L now with his skin? If he still gets irritated I wouldn't bath him too often.
Yay on the house! maybe go have another look around before you put an offer on paper. Is it a newish house? With older houses its good idea to get building inspector to check it out too.
Nai- I am with you on the cleaner, my sister is going to come once fortnight for 3 hours for $50, gonna get her to do bathrooms and toilets and mop floors I can do other stuff inbetween then.
As for dresses I never put Emily in them, funny at this age Ash was starting to take steps so I could buy pretty dresses for her its gonna be awhile yet before Em is taking steps, still has no balance to stand on her own.
Had a lovely arvo at the park feeding the ducks. Nice weather.
kaz remember weight plateaus at this age, so unless he'd loosing weight i wouldnt worry!!
glad were not the only gummy ones!!
ellie blow up bath sounds cool!! id bounce in it too
op i doubt there would be power in a park, id just prebutter the bread and fry it on the bbq
shell it was lovely not worrying about M at the playcenter though she pined for me :( cried for 30 mins and was looking for me around the house :(
speaking of preschoolers, i bough S a schoolbag today :o kinder is happening all toooooo quickly for me!!
QUACK QUACK
heaven hi chickie!
Kaz- DD hasnt put on bery much weight over the last couple of months. I would say under a 1Kg.
Jols- We have a gummy baby too!
We have so many dresses for DD it is crazy she cant wear any of them. Her Christmas one she was in for 20minutes! LOL!
'
Did I tell you DD finally said her first word at Christmas. Guess what it was....Da da! She also says yeah, yeah, yeah! LOL!
Hope everyone gets some better sleep. :grouphug:
:hello to everyone. I am struggling to keep up with how fast our thread moves! LOL!
Hi Heaven & Ellie!
Kaz - I think Miss J has lost weight since she started crawling - her belly seems to have flattened!
Holly - Good luck with the house! We bath as part of our bedtime routine but we put both girls in together so it is part of both their bedtimes.
Olive - I'm taking a leaf out of your book and taking DD1 to the zoo and then out to lunch tomorrow, just the 2 of us and leaving Miss J at home with Nana.
Nai- have fun at the Zoo. I am sure DD1 will love having one on one time with mummy.
re the dresses i think family got the hint after S that dresses just arnt appropriate for babies!!
i weighed M tonight dressed and she was 9kg, so naked im guessing 8.9kg
words we have dad, mum, bub, nan but mostly mummummummummummummummummum, you get the picture!!
nai have fun at the zoo!! im jealous you get to see the new marine part!
Thanks for the reassurances about his weight girls. I really appreciate hearing about other real life babies. I'm sure it will be fine.
Nai - Have fun at the zoo!!!
Ali - DS's first word was dadadada too!! He also says nana and bub. I think I've heard a mum but not sure.
Another gggrrrr - the housemate has suggested a few times that we let DS CIO. I have said a few times that we're not comfortable with that but he thinks he's an expert cause he's watched his sister do it with his two neices  I respect his opinion but he wasn't hearing mine or getting that we are the parents so who cares what worked for his sister?? I refuse to get into it with him. I don't have to justify my decisions as a parent and it's not like he was asking why we didn't want to do that. He didn't even hear DS waking last night for feeds so it's not like it's affecting him. I changed my tone last time he raised it earlier this evening and then left to deal with DS. Not sure what DP said to him while I was gone but it's worked cause he hasn't made any other advice-like comments since!
Sorry for the rant girls. Feel better now. Anyone elses bub suddenly decide that their normal bedtime is boring and they'd rather stay up another 2-3 hours and party???
She slept through :leap: Sorry got to run - she's now awake :D
woohooooooo nai!!!!! awesome!!
we had a wake up at 11.30-resettled only twice, then woke at 12.30 and resettled once, then slept til 6am
kaz he obviously had no idea, he may think differently when he has his own kids!!
Yay Nai !!! WoooHOOO, Have fun at the zoo!!!
Olive- see you soon
Kaz- Don't stress about the weight, Lewis has only put on 200g since last weigh in, he has lost weight since moving around.
We woke 3 times for a resettle, and wasn't nearly as angry last night, think he might be getting the message???
yep see you soon pinny!!
so no boobie last night either??
No but I feed him at 5.30am when DH went to work...couldn't be bothered resettling:redface:
dont worry i fed just before 6 too, same reason, though i wish i had tried as she has already had a sleep and was up by 9.10am so day sleeps are stuffed for today
shell i keep forgetting to ask, did you mum knit another blankie for E???
M loooooooooooooves her blankie too!! its a life saver here
Nai - :hooray: That's awesome stuff!! you must feel so energized today!!
Pinny and Olive - Yay on the better nights!! Olive, I hate it when DS does that and the morning sleep is over so early - maybe try to get a third sleep in?
AFU - We had a better night too although he didn't want to go down until nearly 10pm again but only fed once at about 1:30 or 2am and then up at 7am so pretty good. Got an apology from the friend this morning. He completely changed tack and now reckons he doesn't agree with CIO himself either  Oh, and DS has put on nearly half a kilo in 4 weeks :o Feel a bit silly for getting worried about it yesterday now
Nai- YAY!!!! bet you feel great today and you will be able to enjoy your day at the zoo even more!
Kaz- Awesome about J's weight gain!!! WoW! Dont feel silly. I havent bee to the MCHN in about 6months because of a bad expereience so now I just take her to the chemist to weigh her. Glad you got an apology from HG. I dont mind listening to other peoples opinions but when they wont listen to mine (esp when I am the mum) it completely gets to me and makes me angry.
Olive- that is an improvement so well done M!!!
Pinny- Hope he is getting the msg! Great to have you on FB! Your photos are gorgeous!
Hi to everyone
AFM- crap night (well for DD's standards). I think there are teeth coming. Might explain some of the fevers??? :dunno: She is doing a runny poo each morning as well and seems to wake in pain and just wants a cuddle. I can see ridges down the bottom but cant see any white yet. She ended up co-cleeping from 3am until 7:30am (which I was shocked at as she never wants to sleep with me anymore) after waking at 2am and 3am. Went to playland today and she loved it, crawling around on all the stuff, riding in the little cars & pulling herself up on the foam blocks. Have mothers group at my house tomorrow morning so need to get cleaning this arvo!!
Thanks everyone - I do feel good although 1 night doesn't quite make up for 10 months of disturbed sleep  I took DD1 to the zoo and then we caught the train to the city and had lunch together - it was lovely. Miss J was good for Narnar and she has started cruising along teh coffee table today!
Ali - I hope the teeth come through soon!!
Kaz - yay on the weight gain and the apology.
Pinny & Olive - it's getting better. I'm sure they will all be sleeping like the little cherubs they are very soon!
