    Hi guys,

to everyone having a rough time. I guess I'm joining the club...

L has been dosed up of nurofen for the past 3 or 4 nights. He is really irritable and sore and the teeth are driving him and me nuts Nothing will settle him. I'm feeling really bad, like I'm going to snap. I just have to put him down on the floor, let him scream and cry, walk away and sit down resting my head in my hands. I feel like a zombie just walking around hardly awake. I need sleep!!!

Sighhh...can't wait for this to pass

Having a major clean out here, I've got a metre and a bit of bamboo velour stuff - any of you girls interested? I'll post it in the general area... it's free to a good home. just pm me your addy.

    love your philosophy det

AFA (as for Alex) he slept like a log last night when he eventually went to sleep at 10pm - didn't move at all - but getting him to sleep involved 20 minutes of CIO in the cot (I kept laying him down and he kept standing up, then he threw up and I thought DH was going to cry he was getting so upset about it).. it was so rough last night - the worst night ever, even panadol wouldn't help him sleep.

Arrh we have vomit here!! Lewis been vomiting since 5pm!! Has stopped now, but is so unsettled, not sure what he has got just it is not Gastro! We are meant to be going away again tomorrow.....My poor little man

I tried cows milk on his cereal (only a little) today was the first time he has had it, he had a loose bowel motion about half hour later but seemed ok during the day just not that keen on food, do you guys rekon it could be that???? I'm not convinced as it was so long after but won't be trying it again for a while????

Holly_- maybe teeth Hope it passes soon

Malyna- glad A slept through but for the rough time settling him. DD is now doing the stanidng thing in the cot. Hope that you are all okay.

Pinny- I have no idea but I hope that he is okay for your trip. Where are you guys going?

Girls I have been thinking so much about Tracey and Milana lately. I thought Tracey might have left BB but I found out she has just changed names but I dont think she comes on very much at all. I want her to know that we are thinking of her and also acknowledge that Milana's birthday is approaching but dont really know how to go about it without being intrusive. Its just so sad that she isnt here in our group.

Malyna - I really hope you get a better MCHN next visit. DS didn't put on any weight at all (30g) between 8-9 months. But then last month he put on nearly half a kilo. They go up and down. Please don't stress about his weight. He's a little speed demon!! I hope you start to get somewhere with the sleep. Once you're getting more sleep you'll definitely feel better. I'd love to take that bamboo off your hands if it's still avail. Do you still have my addy? I'll pm it to you again if not.

Nai - Thanks for the light at the end of the tunnel. I keep thinking that things should improve (hopefully!) by the time he's 12 months old.

Shell - That's sad that DD is no longer in your room! But you got 11 months. Be glad for the time you had, I only had 4 months . It's also a bit sad that you're clearing out baby gear (IMO) - hope you're keeping a few things for the memories.

    Olive - Enjoy the pokes

Pinny - Oh poor L. I dunno much about babies vomitting - DS possits on me all the time still (twice today) after feeding but that's not vomitting. Cows milk should be ok at this age. I thought it was between 9-12 months ok?? But if it's not cows milk, then it's gastro and I'm not wishing that on you guys!! Hope he's feeling much better overnight and your trip away is relaxing.

Holly/Ali/Olive and others I've forgotten with non-sleeping, in-pain babies sending you all a massive Look after yourselves girls!!

AFU - Slightly better couple of days here. DS is back to feeding 4 hourly (approx) overnight (although still doesn't want to go to bed on time).

ETA - Ali I have also been thinking of Tracey and Milana (more than usual lately). Milana's birthday will be very hard.

yikes pinny i hope its not gastro, it could be the cows milk but i would have thought it would be out of his system by now, he would have cucked this morning and not this arvo ITMS.
it could just be a 12 hour thing

    ali i do to

I find with us all talking about 1st birthdays I start to think of Tracey and Milana. Ikwym Ali I do think its important to acknowledge her birthday without being intrusive.

Kaz- it is sad clearing it all out but definately keeping stuff that has meaning to me.

Pinny- hope it settles, maybe touch some virus?

Olive, L has been a clingy baby since day dot!

I must say, the last night and tonight he's been pretty good at going back to sleep after waking. He just wants a little comfort suck and then he comes off the bbs and rolls over and back to sleep. He prefers to face away from me!

Malyna and Pinny - eek at the vomit. Hope it's nothing serious.

I never knew Tracey as I wasn't in this belly buddies group, but it breaks my heart thinking about it. I can't imagine what she must be enduring

Gee, I don't know why I do this to myself, staying up so late and then I'm still so tired in the morning when L wakes up

Arrgh - bad night here! J wouldn't go to sleep until 9.30, then needed resettling at 10.30 and 11.30. Then G woke up at 1am with a sore tummy which turned into vomit at 2.30 so I got back to sleep at 3.30. I slept on the couch from 3.30 - 6.30 when the stupid dog wanted to go outside - Grrrr! Of course both girls are chirpy and right as rain this morning and I feel like death

Anyhow - enough about me! Has anyone heard from Ellie? She hasn't been on in a while.

I am also thinking about Tracey. She has changed her username (I found her in one of the threads I used to belong to and worked out it was her). I think a card or somethingfrom our group would be nice - Kaz, you have her address don't you? Maybe we can put money in anad send her something?

Pinny - I hope L is ok this morning. I know there have been a few bugs going around!

Olive - lucky you having a night out

By the way - Are any of you Melbourne girls going to the meet on Saturday? I am going with my 2 girls and would love to see some of you

Oh Nai that sounds like a horrible night you've had. I hope you can get some rest this afternoon. You too Olive.

Kailani - Thats great that L is settling quicker. I do that too sometimes, stay up til all hours when I should be in bed!

I do still have Tracey's addy (assuming she hasn't moved). I remember reading in a thread ages ago that she valued every opportunity to acknowledge and honour the memory of Milana. I think it would mean a great deal to her if we acknowledge Milana's birthday somehow. I will have a think.

ETA - There is a bit of debate on in my house/family atm about the colour of DS's eyes. If you get time, could you all check his pic on my profile page next time you're in fb and offer your opinion? Ta.

Olive- That prolly explains the crap sleepless nights, glad your Dh stayed home, sometimes we just need that help.

Kaz- my first thought was how gorgeous that pic is! But his eyes look greyish to me. But can see couple brown specks thru it.

Nai- I can't go, have to work tomor morning. At least I get paid time and half for bloody weekend work!

I think Emily getting a cold, has snotty nose and not happy, but on the upseide once she has settled for sleeps she slept well, last night slept thru til 7:30am this morn! Then had a 2hr+ sleep this morn.
