Pinny great to see youback, hoping to see you on tuesday!!
so hoe many teeth does L have now??
im jealous you have a van down there!!

lilma hope you get to do your trip!

OP we've had a few nights of screaming when going to bed, ive put it down to the sinus infection though. last night she went down fine which was good as DH wasnt home!!
this is such a fun age isnt it!! their little personalities really come out!!

Ali how is A today?? hope shes feeling better we have nappy change issues too, but ive found if i get her to get the nappy and carry it etc.. shes better im sure it wont last though!!

AFM all ok, M is getting better, shes now off dairy, not that she really liked it any way and obviously there was a reason! shes now on oat milk for cereal etc.. i cook with it too and she has some in a sippy cup which is a first also! off to the osteo tomorrow, then if need be a natropath in the coming weeks to see if we can sort out these infections!!
sleep is ok still, waking once usually, last night she woke at 10.30 i resettled then she woke at 4am so i fed her then she slept tl 7am, if she wakes after 4am then i feed, before hand i resettle!

man i run the risk of being committed if i continue to talk to myself

    anyways...

i took M to the osteo today, she said it was no wonder she was having issues she guess the issues were mainly on the RHS which they are, in a nut shell she said there isnt any 'fluid' on that side of ther head so when she does get colds/fluid etc... it cant drain... so back again next week!

    Hi Everyone!

Pinny - good to see you back!

Olive - i hope the osteo can help sort out Millie. She has had a rough trot with all her infections.

Ali - I'm glad Ash is getting better.

AFU - Miss J has started taking a few steps by herself - last night she picked up her water bottle from the coffee table and carried it to me sitting on the couch. She will be off an running soon I think.

We went to the Dr's trhis morning coz DS has had a cold since last thursday and I wanted to get his ears checked, gave me a script for AB's if needed over the weekend but not just yet, fingers crossed we don't have to use them...

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.. anyone got any special plans?

It was ouchy 8 weeks after birth when your cervix is still soft, can't imagine how ouchy it would of been for you today!!! The only side effects I had was felt like I was getting my period for the next 24 hrs then slight spotting for about 14 days then nothing....not even a period still to this day!!! I hope you have the same experience that I did!!!

pinny how much did you bleed from the procedure???
i too feel like AF is here, he said id get more bleeding than say you as DD is older, i guess the sooner post birth you get it in the less spotting
    did you get my txt?

Olive- my friend swears by hers, says she hasn't had AF for 2 years so loves it! Glad the osteo could help and give you answers, I've heard they can be really good.

Pinny- did he see anything in DS ears or just thought give some ABs in case? Hope he is ok. I was wanting to make clothes, starting with kids stuff and was hoping to eventually make stuff for myself that is wearable. Guess I'll have to self teach.

Nai- yeah now she is walking they progress so quick.

Ali- glad to hear poor Ashlyn is on the mend. Poor poppit.

OP- Don't feel bad bout bit of crying, Emily does that sometimes and I have to let her go. 5 mins of crying on her own is better than if we went in and then she really wouldn't sleep and end up in worse state. She sounds like how Ash used to be when nothing settles them, so hard. Hope things settle before #2 comes along, how long now til you restart mat leave?

Kaz- how is being back at work going? Did you survive?

Meg- sorry to hear you are feeling that way. Maybe think about things that you can do in the present for yourself? Life now seems to revolve around kids and work, maybe you need to do something for just you, are you interested in doing part time course? A hobby? Something to keep you occupied til you can do the travel things? Maybe volunteer work here?

Well I've been busy, the girls have been unwell, Emily has had temps on and off and just been NQR, today is first day in week she seems alot better but has got this rash all over her back and tummy, I'm pretty sure its all viral.
Ash also NQR and juicy sounding cough so she too been very sensitive and upset easily.
On the upside Df and I went away for last 2 nights just 2 of us, (mum and aunty got lucky to look after sick kids) was lovely time and think very important for us to have just us time. Time to actually sit down and chat, spend time with each other. Help our relationship.

Kaz - how did you go being back at work?

Olive - ouch! I hope it works well for you!

Shell - how nice to get some time away together

OP - Miss J will sook for a bit and put herself back to sleep too - if I go in she wakes up and it's worse, she goes in to total meltdown mode!

AFU - we have a progressive dinner tomorrow night with friends so I'm looking forward to that - lots of wine Also Miss J is progressing so quickly with her walking - she is a toddler in the space of a day!

    Hey girls,

Quick post from me as we are supposed to be leaving for the ILs in ten mins and I'm not even started getting ready!!

Nai - have a great time at the dinner!!

Olive - ouch on the Mirena, hope it settles down for you soon and the benefits start outweighing this part of it!

Kaz - you ok hun, how's work going??? You're probably exhausted...

Bella - loved your skirt once I could finally see it!

Shell - no good on sick girls, how are they feeling this weekend? Good on your time away tho! Hope you made the most of it!!!

Pinny - how's DS now?? Hope he's improving...

AFU: thanks for all the kind words of support. Last night was much better, DD settled herself with no intervention from us and didn't wake until 6am, then was grizzly off and on til about ten to seven, so that's great.

She's been really clingy and a bit sooky though that last few days, I think a molar coming down on the top somewhere, combined with really really nasty nappy rash (poor poppet), a cold, daylight savings, she has just been not herself. Here's hoping she's back to normal soon.

Had my GD test yesterday and I finish work (again) in 8 weeks! It is all going so fast!!

Hope everyone else is going well!!

My phone has been funny, when dod you send it? Everything ok?? Hope you feel better soon saw on facebook your getting a sore throat...

Nai- Walking is too cute!! I can't wait now till L is doing it!!

Shell- Good luck with the sewing, I self taught myself mainly but did enjoy goign to classesd to get advice!!! Sounds like your weekend away with DH was great, I nned to make more of an effort when it comes to spending time with DH,

AS for L's ears Dr just gave them incase coz it was the weeeknd and it is hard to get into dr's, i have not filled them think DS is on the improve although not sure how DD is, started to have a cough this afternoo

Pinny- yeah we needed it, think we only been out just the 2 of us few times since DD1 was born 3.5 years ago! Mil has told me she is gonna help me out with sewing and she has overlocker too. Hope your DD is ok, seems once one child gets sick the other follows.

OP- Yeah Em's been clingy too with not being well. Hard to get anything done when they grizzle and want to be picked up all day. Wow 8 weeks work left, bet you're counting down too.

Nai- how was the dinner last night? Any hangovers?

Olive- still not had our needles that why thought was viral, seems to have settled too. Bet you were happy bout your bombers last night, first win of season!

Girls seem alot better today, they are fighting and being crazy so must be well!

Hi girls, sorry I've been a bit MIA, it's been a bit crazy and short on sleep in my house this week!

Big for all the sick bubs in here atm and another big for their mum's.

Nai - Go Miss J!! Did you have a good time last night? Sounds like it Hope you're feeling better soon!
BB - lovely princess skirt! I finally worked out how to vote this morning. Hope Miss A gets better real quick too. Have you been well? You often get sick in the holidays so I hope you've been well this time.
Pinny - Glad L is sleeping better for you.
Shell - whoot on time away with Df!! Sounds good.
Lilima - No advice hun. The answer will come to you.
Olive - Hope that Miss M's issues get sorted by the osteo and ouch! on your Mirena.
OP - What you describe Miss I doing sounds so like DS. He will sometimes self settle but often when he doesn't going in and cuddling him no longer works. He cries and screams (has a new one and it's horrible) and arches his back etc. No idea what causes it because it seems so random so I feel your pain. I hope that molar comes through soon. Teeth suck.
    Hi to everyone else!!

AFU - Work was a big build up (I felt so stressed before going in the first day) and then has been pretty boring so far lol!! I think on balance I'm glad to be back, just want to get through the settling in stage quickly and get back into it. A year is long enough to not be using my skills and training. On the first morning J screamed so hard no noise was coming out at first when I left him. Twas hard but the next couple of days he was fine, no tears and smiles when I left so much better. His night sleep has gone out the window though - one night we had an 8 hour stretch but he still woke at 3am. Other nights have been very unsettled. Still not feeding for at least 6-7 hours overnight but have co-slept and/or been up a lot which sucks. Some nights its every couple of hours. One tooth through and another on it's way. Feeding is still mega painful too and often makes me cry. Nipples don't seem to be healing. Not sure how much more I can do but I'd hate to wean under these circumstances so I keep thinking, one more day, one more day.
