Is she sick Meg?
Hi everyone,
Olive, oh no on the ear infection. I really hope you get some answers, poor little M.
Meg, hope you get some decent sleep tonight.
Shell, woohoo on the hard rubbish find! Yeah we have moved but I hate it and we're moving again, into dp's dad's house. Can't remember if I mentioned that things turned pear-shaped and mil and her partner and his 2 yappy indoor dogs have moved in with us too. I am hating it so I'm want out. At least dp's dad lives by himself. Living with the inlaws is the only way we are able to save for our own place, and although it's a real pita, it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make, and I'm grateful!
Eek, Ellie, hope all is well now. I love the family pic on fb - congrats again!
Nai, aw a bittersweet moment. She weaned in her own time, and is a very happy little girl with her "bobble" lol, what more could you ask for :)
OP, woohoo on the big bed. Not long to go now!! DD may get back into bbs when the new one comes along, who knows!
Det, glad to hear the kids are settling in well at school. Good luck to your fil with his op, and what a relief about your mum! Aw Boof's first hair cut - did you keep some?? My mum's still got a small bunch of my hair from my first cut!
Kaz, is J weaning too?? Hope the nights are getting better for you guys.
Hi to everyone else :)
AFU, L has started walking properly a few days ago, still wobbly and prefers to crawl, but he is walking when he feels like it. We started attending a playgroup a couple of weeks ago as sadly our mothers group isn't working out - most of the mum's are back at work and are too busy, however I do see one mum often (we go to playgroup) and another is keen to still catch up so that's good. Anyway, L seems to be enjoying the playgroup. It's one morning a week for 2 hours and morning tea included and there's a facilitator so it's structured, i.e. different activity areas, outdoor play time, morning tea, story time, songs, then go home. It's great!
Has anyone else got a proper toothbrush for their little one? L doesn't seem to mind it, but I don't think I'm doing a great job at brushing his teeth properly. I must admit, I've only just started doing it regularly, even though he's had 8 teeth for a while now. I am really worried his teeth may be rotting from the sugar from my bm as he feeds all the time, and most of the night. Is this likely?? :(
Anyway, I better get some sleep. I'll check back in again soon xox
Holly - Yay on the walking. Not so yay on the moving around houses stuff.
OP - Saw on FB you only have a few more working days. You must be looking forward to finishing.
Shell - I don't know what is up with Miss E. She has been waking on and off in the night for the past few weeks.
OK got to go eat breakfast before getting kids ready for playgroup.
Hi all,
Lilima - no good on being up for 4hrs the other night!!! That's not good. Hope it has improved since then. Yep, only a few days of work to go, absolutely hanging out...
Kailani - I could have written your exact same post about the playgroup and my mother's group - most back at work on Tuesdays, only two come to the new playgroup now but there are a few others who are keen to catch up every now and then so that will be nice.
Woohoo on the walking! I've got a toothbrush for DD, but we don't fuss too much about how she uses it -most of the time she sees us brushing our teeth and wants to mimic - I don't know if she would understand much more than that at this stage? She sort of chews on it... Surely your BM can't be that sugary and bad for him??? You can hardly be brushing his teeth all night...
Shell - nice work on the finds! You sound like my ILs - they are constantly hitting up garage sales and turning iup with "new" toys for DD, at their house! Its great! We don't have to take toys over any more as they have stacks at their house. They picked up a whole bunch - maybe a dozen?? - of kids DVDs from one sale, Wiggles, Thomas, etc etc - fantastic!
Thanks for asking about my ribs... they aren't good... will update below...
Olive - hope all the appts turn something up for Miss M... You've had it pretty tough with sleep over the last err 15 months...
Nai - awww hun has she really weaned?? That's sad, I feel your pain - DD now asks for "moo" when she wakes up, which amusingly is her word for "milk". As in cow's milk, not BB! I really don't think she understands the cow-moo-milk concept, I think she just can't make the "I" sound. LOL
Ellie - glad you are feeling better hun. Must have been pretty nasty! I should try and find you on FB so I can see some pics!!
RR - hi!! I know what you mean about keeping up, sometimes its just too hard!
Kaz - how's sleep going???
AFU: DD is still going well in the big bed - we had a 5am wake up on Sat morning, took her 1hr to go back to sleep, but then she slept til 7.45am :o Sun morning she didn't stir until 6.45am and this morning not a peep until 6.30am - and that was with both DH and I up and moving around, having showers etc :o
Its a bit scary how well it is going - I keep waiting for it to end!
Still weaned, no sign of wanting BB again. Maybe when DS arrives... who knows? She's teething ATM I think, lots of drool and very clingy yesterday, I think its the canines...
My ribs are still really hurting me - I've seen the osteo three times and she's really disappointed that its not healing -so she's got me booked in with someone else, it was Thursday but I've just changed to tomorrow morning as I am already (treatment on Sat) really sore. It just sucks that it should be treatable and fixable and its just not.
Had a sort of baby shower on Sunday with my closest GFs and my sister, that was lovely - just afternoon tea and some little pressies for the baby. They insisted - just because its #2 doesn't mean its any less important they reckon! How nice!
Apart from all that, finishing work on Thurs (WOOOOOO :confetti: ) so just hanging out for that!!!!
OP- That sucks, that stage of pregnancy is bloody hard enough! I hope something gets sorted, maybe finishing work will help too? Maybe just getting that extra rest. I can't remember but is DD in child care or your mum looking after her? Will that continue at all once you finish work? I'm just thinking having a day rest a week would be good for you.
Meg- I hope she starts settling soon then, I wonder whats up, does she take a long time to settle when she does it? How is J doing these days?
Holly- I thought you bought your own place already? Or did that fall thru? Hope living with FIL goes ok, it can be very hard living with others, but you're right its worth the sacrifice to eventually set yourself up somewhre. As for tooth brushing we only sorta started recently, Em is not impressed. Not sure about sugar prob and BM. I think from what I've heard in past its a prob if milk is pooling in mouth?
Shell, I wish we bought it - but no, the plan was that mil would buy a house for dp and I to live in while we saved for "our own". She wanted to move to Brissy where her new partner lived and come back to Melb in a few years and sell the house (once we were ready to move!). She gave dp and I the task of house-hunting and choosing a house, which we did - only considering that us 3 would be living there!! I really don't know what happened, but everything went to crap with her moving to Brisbane, and long story short, she and her partner decided to move into the new house. I really can't stand it, but what can I say? She paid for it! I just feel very disillusioned...
re tooth brushing, I just heard of a little boy (about 2 years) that had to have his baby teeth out because they had rotted. It was attributed to the sugar in his mum's bm and he was apparently feeding all throughout the night. Scared the bejesus out of me! I am so paranoid about L's teeth now, and I'm convinced one of the top ones looks a bit yellow
OP, yeah L kinda chews the brush too and yep, that's my concern - I brush before bed but then he's feeding during the night anyway, and I can't be brushing through the night! LOL. So cute about I and her "moo". Hope she continues to sleep well in her big bed. Ouchies on the ribs - brings back bad memories for me - I had terrible rib pain when pregnant and got meningitis around the same time in the last tri. Hope the osteo session helps tomorrow. Oh and how lovely to have another baby shower - of course every pregnancy should be celebrated!
Lilima, hope you had a good day and enjoyed playgroup.
Hi to everyone else :)
AFU, not much to report...I just have to say, L is still a baldy! He hardly has any hair lol. I've been saying for months now "oh I think it's starting to grow!" and it has "thickened" out a little bit but there's still hardly any there! I love it coz he still looks like a baby :D
Anyhoo, have a good night everyone. I'm not really good at keeping in the loop on bb, but I am always keeping updated with you all on fb even though I might not comment! Loving all the photos too.
xox
Lol Holly, Em has the "mullet" look starting, Ash did the same at thisa age. Sucks on the house, what can you do but I'd be pretty annoyed after all the work it takes to house hunt, I remember how tiring it was finding our place. One day you'll be in your own tho. Oh and with the teeth maybe next time you go to the dentist maybe ask them? You could even ask them to have quick look in his mouth if he'll let them!
we fell off the first page!!
shell DD2 is starting to get a mullet too!
holly :( boohoo about the house, how dissapointing for you all, as for the teeth, just let him chew on the brush, dont force anything!!
AFM M had a hearing test monday.. passed jsut fine, ENT tuesday... grommets are going in on monday :o thank goodness for PHI !
im scared about it though
sleep is craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap
BBL.. need to check the previous page
lilima is E sleeping better??
OP how are the ribs?? maybe you need to see someone new :dunno:
Olive that's exactly why we keep our PHI for the kids if need be. That's great they're going in. Hopefully we'll see big changes.
Morning ladies
Has been a bit quiet in here! I had a busy day at work yesterday trying to get my one last thing finished before I finish. Which is today, hooray!!!! :confetti: :happyforyou:
Finished my document so today I should be able to have a very cruisey day... woo woo.
Olive - yeah I saw another osteo at the same clinic, seems to have helped - I am certainly not as sore as I have been previously.
I've been keeping up with the grommets situation - read your post about the GA but have no advice as haven't been in that situation. I do understand you feeling scared though - I would be terrified. I'll be thinking of you guys on Monday and I'll pray for you if you don't mind :)
We had an average night last night too - more wake ups from DD than from my bladder  I think she was waking every time she did a wee, her little bottom came up really red and sore yesterday arvo, putting her into her night nappy was a traumatic experience for all involved (and there were four of us - we were at the IL's house) - I think the canines coming through has brought up the nappy rash again.
Thankfully Grandma will be able to give her some nappy off time today and that might help... but last night it seemed like she was awake every hour or two, just yelling out/grizzling and then going quiet again. Til 5am when some intervention was required... but no going back to sleep, she was awake. Ah well.
Holly - we've got a bit of a mullet going on too, but DD's is curly so its kinda cute :D Some days I have a mullet though... that's not attractive  Your house situation sounds pretty terrible for you, hope you can resolve it soon.
Can't see back as I'm doing quick reply... what else was said...
Lilima - how's E's sleeping been?
Kaz - same question?
Hi to everyone else!
Hi everyone!! I can't keep up sorry.
Kaz- I think it was you saying about my photos? Thank you! I love taking them. Yes, I do edit the good ones a little but not the every day snapshots iykwim.
olive- so glad they're doing something for miss M!!!! I really hope it improves the sleep for you!!
OP- Yay on your last day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Yesterday I had to go to molescan to get a check up. Haven't been for ages and there was a couple of spots I was worried about. Anyway the Dr was worried too and I have to have them off :( He said they could easily be melanoma!!! But there's no way to tell until they test them. I have had 4 Dr's check them in the last year bc I thought they were weird and new and they all said they were fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Except the last one who wasn't really sure about 1 of them, which is what made me get the molescan. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!! Idiots!!!!!!!!!! So I'm scared :( He said it's really early anyway, they're tiny, the only reason I noticed is bc they're new and really dark and one is on the top of my ear. They're only about 1mm big. He said it would only be stage 1 if it was and stage 2 at worst and not a threat to my life, but still it is really freaking me out :( I want them off me now!!!
Just had to get that out somewhere coz I'm trying not to google here!
DD is obsessed with Winnie the Pooh atm, she wants to watch it all the time, lol. All I hear is 'Pooh nare!!!! Pooh nare!!!!' (pooh bear) and pointing at the TV. Trying not to let her watch it too much, don't want her watching TV all day, but it is handy when I want to do the washing up and don't want someone hanging off my legs, LOL.
Heaven I am still trying to find the one TV show that will keep DD occupied for more than 2 minutes!!!!! We get about 2mins from Wiggles, Thomas and Raggs but nothing else and never more than about 2mins. Seriously too!
She is just too energetic - always up running around getting into things. Getting to be independent but I still worry when I'm doing something and it all goes quiet... then mummy has to go "hunting" to find baby, she can be anywhere! Her current fave hiding spot is between the end of her old cot and the curtains - she thinks she's very clever getting in there :D
Don't stress too much about the moles - I had two off last year as DH was worried about then, one on my tummy and one on my shoulder blade - I couldn't see the tummy one while I was pg (lol) but DH was watching it and getting concerned so he convinced me to have them off.
Just did it under local at my GP's office - I was saying "ouch ouch ouch" while the anaesthetised (sp???) the area and my GP is like "Honey you gave birth not long ago, I think you can handle a little needle!"
You'll be fine
hey girls
still here- been flat out as per usual
heaven- GL getting the moles off- i had 7 taken off in 1991 as they had changed- a couple of them had cell changes- pre cancerous but as you said- better to get them off then anything!!!
btw your photos are awesome!!! I would love you to take photos of my kids one day- they photograph well and i know you would do such an awesome job!! let me know if you ever want to turn your hobby into some $$$$
WHOOT OP - welcome to the world of being a SAHM!!! I love it as you know- btw i am sitting her watching Dr Phil procrastinating about all the things i should be doing and waiting for my party pies to heat up with my slippers on- ah love it!! will try again for next tues!!
Olive- GL for millie for mon- the impact they will have on her life will be amazing!! forgot to say that after boof had his GA he was jumping up and down on the cot 15 mins after waking and after a feed- DS1 has had 7 operations and they bounce back soo quickly- they do say it takes 1 week for every hour they are under a GA to get it totally out of their system! Just watch the constipation if they give her heaps of panadol/painstop etc!! - a side effect they forget to tell you about!!
bellabimba- sounds like you had a great night last night at SITC2- i have had the first movie sitting her to watch even before it came out at the movies lol
holly- our dentist said to bring bubs when we go to the dentist i think they were about 2 1/2 when they were examined properly for the first time- the dentist said not to stress too much about being fedicious about brushing- just do the best you can- we still havent started brushing boofs teeth yet- will when he gets some more lol he still only has 8 front ones and this one back one- right at the back- strange
hey to Kaz- your little man is such a spunk
hello to everyone else!!!
AFU- life is flat out- had DS1 off this week on tues- its always tues and that is when i am suppose to go to playgroup with Ocean Princess!!
kids are doing awesome at new school
boof loves the tele-tubbies and goes off at them - funny
had some bad news this week- a fellow twin mumma died at 45 years old- so sad- also had another friend lose her bubs at 20 weeks again- life isnt fair- this is the second time she has had a 2nd tri loss- last time she got Asherman's afterwards so not good! Life isnt fair sometimes
makes us appreicate so much more how lucky we are
still not sleeping through but its all good
take care girls
xxx
OP- Thanks, I've had one off before and it turned out to be nothing but this guy scared me by saying melanoma!! eek!! LOL, that's so cute about her hiding. DD likes getting down the side of the fridge, lol. Not long to go of your last day now!!
Det- Oh thank you. I am just starting to do some sessions for people now to build up a portfolio!! Would love to take some pics of your gorgeous kids one day, except I'm in brisbane :(
heaven i will stalk you out one day lol!!
on maybe you should come to melb to visit us!!!
oooh btw i reckon its time for a melb meet up before OP pops!!
whos up for it!!
hey interstate girls- there are some cheap flights atm!!! Wink wink!!
OP- woohoo, work over for you! Well as I say your paid job is over now in full time unpaid work, lol.
Heaven- Good luck, I'm sure will be ok, just the words melanoma can be a freak out, better to be safe then sorry and get them out now before they do become a prob. I've heard so many stories about one Dr saying its ok then next one saying no you gotta get it out, I always think better get it out is safer option. Google can be our worst enemy sometimes! I do the same start really stressing then.
Det- I'm sorry to hear about your friend that passed away, so young its devastating. How are her family getting by? I will send a prayer for them.
On a positive note I would be in for another Melb get together, we def need another, all those babies we met last time are going to be active toddlers! lol.
We are off to the museum today (thanks Nai for the idea from your facebook status the other day) we were planning the aquarium but omg I didn't realise so exxy, would cost over $80 for us to all go where the museum will only cost us $16! Just hope these kids get in a better mood!
Great idea Det - maybe we can do the museum :D
Hi all,
Just keeping up with all the posts - just!
Det, thanks for the info re brushing teeth - it's a relief to know I don't have to stress over it yet. I still try to brush them before bed but I kinda think what's the point when he has booby all night! I guess it will get him into a good habit anyway.
So sorry to hear about your friends :(
Nai, sorry can't make the meet.
Olive, all the best for Monday.
OP, woohoo on finishing work!
Heaven, I'd be a bit scared too if the doctor suggested that. Isn't it worrying when you have to see several doctors before they refer you appropriately. At least you're nipping it in the bud, all the best!
How cute that DD likes Pooh Bear! L watched TV for the first time ever this evening - for a grand total of about 2 minutes! He's never been interested before, but my little sister was watching Bananas in Pyjamas and L actually became fixated on the screen for a few minutes.
Shell, how was the museum?
Hi to everyone else!
AFU, L is sick. Not miserable sick, but coughing and phlegmy(sp?) throat sick and rashy on his face too. He doesn't seem too bothered by it at the moment...fingers crossed it is short lived. I have uni exams start next week so just trying to study as much as I can on the rare occasion I get the time and have the energy. Might not be around in the next couple of weeks!
Have a good weekend everyone xox
Wooooo I am finished work!!!!!
Writing from the iPhone on the couch, feeling very lazy this Fri night!
I'm up for another catch up, museum sounds great if it is as cheap as Shell says! Sounds like it'll be fun for the little ones too which is good - DD is such an adventurous little thing (we call her the bulldozer at Playgroup LOL) I will need things to keep her occupied...
Det, so sorry for your loss of your friend and also for your friend's loss. So sad. Wish there was something more I could say...
Olive, thinking of you over the weekend and coming up to Monday. It'll all be fine and hopefully you'll see some results quickly!
Can't remember what else sorry ladies :(
Love to all!!
Hi girls,
I have been hopeless at keeping up in here but catching everything on FB. ;)
I will do a proper catch up on the weekend but wanted to let you know we are plodding along. Have handed in my reports to my supervisor, so that is one thing off my plate but I almost had a break down at work last Wed. Not really coping with some of the demands they are putting on me. Too much of a long story to go into.
DD had her first sleepover away from me on Wed night. Was really strange coming home and Ash not being in her cot but she was a doll for mum and dad. They are the only people that I would let DD stay with. She slept through the night for them and was so cute, chatting to them in bed while she was having her morning bottle in bed with them.
DD is getting 4 molars at the moment. Cant believe they are all cutting through at the same time. :(
ETA- Has just woken up now for a mummy cuddle
OP woohhoooo on finishing work!! enjoy being at home with your baby girl
det i had a pre cancerous one taken off too.... at 16!! scary! DD loves brushing (chewing) on her toothbrush!
ali glad your night off/out was lovely!!
shell the aquariam is exxy :o for the size its better value going to the zoo!
holly how is L?? goodluck with your exams
hevean i hope the mole removel goes well
hi to nai, pinny, ellie
AFM tomorrows the day :o for miss DD i hope she copes ok without feeding/eating til after the op, she has to fast from midnight.
sorry this is short i cant keep up and im very tired :(
Olive quick post to say thinking about you and M tonight!!!!! And tomorrow too! Hugs hugs hugs.
Will ne thinking of you and little Millie tomorrow Olive. Big
Good luck today Olive - let us know how Millie goes!
everything went well today!
she went to bed at 6.30pm, woke at 4am, took me until 5.30 to get her back to sleep, mind you id been awake since 3.15, i climbed back into bed at 5.15, alarm went off at 5.30am  so no feeds overnight, so hoping to continue that. id gotten her back down to one during the week.
it wasnt nice seeing her after the op, she was so upset, and very flushed, so i gave her lots of feeds (boobs were huge :o ) she hated the canula and bandaid... that seemed to be te worst part for her. but she bounced back ok after an ahour or so and had something to eat. was nice to get out of there too
So good to hear. You must be exhausted
 Olive, what a brave girl!! I hope you see lots of improvement now!!
I wish I could come to melbourne and meet up with you all!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to be in sydney I think the first w/e in August though, who is in Sydney?????????? Maybe we can meet up!
Hi girls, sorry I have been mia again.......
Det - sorry about the loss of your friend. That is so young. Also your mate who lost her bub. That's very sad
Kailani - Good luck in your exams hun!!
Ellie - Hope you're feeling better darl. That sounds so yuck!!
OP - Whoot on finishing work! Hope your ribs are giving it a rest too!
Bella - for your work dramas mate. Doesn't sound good. Look after yourself. Your DD is so cute - what a star sleeping through for your parents too!
olive - :leap: the procedure went well. What a brave girl your DD is. You must have been stressed  Hope it improves things for her.
Heaven - I am not in Sydney but am not far away - would love to meet you and your gorgeous DD. BellaBambina might be able to make it too!
Sorry can't remember what else was said
AFU - Sleep has improved heaps. There are still wake ups but we're not up for hours at a time re-settling anymore so everyone's getting more sleep :hooray: Finally. I feel like I'm just back to normal mummy tiredness, not the exhaustion of before. Last night was excellent - went down at 7pm and slept til 8am with one serious wake up at about 12:30am when DP gave him some cows milk. He had good day sleeps yesterday but only cause he fell asleep in the car and I kept driving - a trip that should have taken me 40mins took about 2hours  The things we do.....
Can't remember who asked about weaning but DS only has one feed per day - early in the morning on waking. I was thinking I could drop it soon but he seems very attached to it so will continue. Both bbies are still damaged and very painful during pretty much every feed, especially when he first gets on but he seems to need it and enjoy the one feed so I'll continue. It does get to me every now and then cause it's been over 2 months now of painful feeds and I don't think they're going to heal until he does wean :(
Olive - I am so glad that the surgery went well. It isn't nice seeing them come out of surgery. J was terribly upset coming out of his surgery.
Kaz - I am glad that sleep has improved.
E is quite sick. Been throwing up, was up for about 2.5 hours overnight last night, but I least I know why she was up - she was not feeling well.
Ok - really tired so am going to log off for tonight.
Sorry that I haven't sent personals to everyone. My brain isn't working properly.
Meg- Poor thing, I hate vomiting, clean up isn't much fun either. Have you gone and got that thyroid checked yet?
Kaz- so good to hear sleep is improving, your mental and emotional state must be feeling alot better. How is work going? has he settled in well to CC? With your nipples maybe try the lasinoh cream? I dunno you've prolly tried most things but I was just thinking if you put it on every few hours maybe by each feed they'll feel not so sore?
Olive- How is she doing? All over the op? Prolly more stressful for you than her! How is her sleeping going? Any improvements?
Ali- Have you spoken to anyone at work about the workload? Can you make any changes or is it a tough luck attitude there? You've been sounding exhausted so hope you get some break from all the stress. Hope you enjoyed your night out when A stayed with your mum.
OP- How is mat leave going? Lol, hope your getting some rest, I found the last stages pregnancy more exhausting then after the baby is born!
Holly- How is L? Improving? We've had virus's here too. Tiring. How is all your study going? Do you have exams coming up or just had some?
I've been unwell, caught some virus off Emily but its cause terrible vertigo, I spend my day feeling like I'm on a boat, unless I'm staying still, makes me nauseas sometimes. Went to dr she thinks could be blocked sinus causing fluid build up so on ABs and other stuff for the dizziness.
museum was really good, has childrens gallery with books, puppets, coloring, puzzles and outdoor area so great for kids, rest is interesting too. Best money spent!
Museam sounds like a good idea. How much was it Shell?
I ope your ears improve soon.
No I have been naughty and not gone to the doctors yet. I always seem to make excuses to not go...........
E slept right through last night, but woke up still terribly hot. Our digi thermometer is playing up so not sure what her temp is really. Anyone recommend a good digi thermometer???
I am at work, so better get off this site.
Morning ladies
Olive - so great that the op went well. I hope she has continued to recover well today!!! Must have been very tough for you! GL with the continued night weaning - it can be done!!!!
Lilima - DD has some sort of virus at the moment too I think. Yesterday arvo she was really grizzly and sooky and clingy, the last few nights have been bad, not good. But no vomitting here - I hope she has stopped that! I don't know how I'd cope cleaning up vomit in my current state... doing the normal cleaning is hard enough!!! I hope she improves quickly and you yourself are feeling better soon too.
Can't help with the thermometer - we got one in a gift pack (Safety 1st I think) and then I bought one that's shaped like a frog (lol) so I'm not actually sure what brand it is! We don't use it too often thankfully so I have no idea really. Have a good day at work!!
Shell - would you be up for another visit to the museum?? I'd love to go, I'm sure Isabel would love it too. Really enjoying mat leave so far (only my second official day today though!) but keeping DD amused is harder than I'd though it would be! She's getting more independent which is great but then when she's clingy its tough. Feeling really big and tired - getting resentful when she wakes at night, which is so not fair on her, its not like she's doing it on purpose. Bad mother...
Kaz - great that sleep is improving!!! And that you're feeling more normal again too! Not so great on the sore nipples - you're such a trooper to push through when its hurting you so much  Be kind to yourself when you think about weaning, you have done such a great job!
Heaven - I'm in Syd possibly in Feb, does that count?
AFU: sleep hasn't been the greatest recently. Do you guys think number 1 baby clues in somehow that things are changing? Even as young as DD is?? Yesterday and today she has been super clingy and grizzly - ask Det, we had to leave playgroup early because she was so grizzly and I was getting a bit worried about her. Came home and gave her some panadol, she had a second long sleep, cuddled up with me though which she hasn't done since she was about 6mths old! Today she sat in my lap and watched playschool and ate sultanas - another thing she normally doesn't do.
So she's either getting sick, teething or somehow she knows things are changing and she's not going to have me all to herself soon... Or am I imagining it??
Sorry, haven't read everything but OMG guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4002/...98a4feff4f.jpg
I am feeling a little nervous and cautious as I had a m/c before DD and I think it's pretty early. Will feel better in a week or so if AF doesn't show up, and then better after 12 wks and a scan. But not telling anyone yet so big shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........... esp on FB!!!!
It just seems sooo unreal. First try!! Which is crazy!! Took us a year and one m/c to get our beautiful DD. Stick little one STICK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow Heaven - that is wonderful!! Congratulations!!
Sending loads of sticky vibes!!
woooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhoooooooooooooooooooooooooo heaven!! sensational news hun!!
OMG HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
shhhhh
awesome news
!!!!!!!
Heaven- ooh congrats!!! :stickyvibesgirl: The line is pretty strong looking!
OP- I remember when I was big preggy with Emily and Ash suddenly got really clingy, wouldn't let anyone not even Df do anything for her, was always "mummy do it" and cry if anyone else tried, when I went off to work cried and cried even tho she'd been looked after by IL's for over a year at that stage, so yeah even tho Ash was a year older than I is I reakon they do sense something and start to feel unsettled.
Meg- how is E doing?
Not sure if I can make museum monday, might be doing something else seeing as Df is home from work.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
