I'm struggling along here atm, Emily been unsettled and still waking alot at night, been trying formula at 10pm and she'll drink only about 100mls and feed again at 2am and 6am but wakes also in between those times so I feel I'm being woekn roughly every 2hrs, then have to chase after a toddler all day who has a bit of an attitude at the moment. She also giving us grief at bedtime, runnign around til 9:30 or even 10:15, then of course I have to wake her in the mornings and she spends the morning being tired and grumpy. So I just feel so exhausted. I can't get much done around the house so that makes me feel worse when its all messy, anyway soldiering on!
Ali- I rmember with Ash about 3 times I got tiny smears of blood and would think Af was on her way back but then nothing so most likely that, hope you have contraception worked out for next time ;)
Kaz- It often happens when you think you have dealt with something but when it comes to saying the words out loud it so hard. Its great tho that you did speak about it, I think all that will help you deal with it.
Det- Glad the c'sion went well, hopefully he'll give you good night sleep if he is still bit drowsy. How is it healing?
Holly- I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, so much has been going on with you lately I really hope you are looking after yourself. Have you got support around you to help you deal with everything?
-
shell sounds like your nights are tough, its one thing getting up to feed but to get up and resettle in betweeen is tough  is it because shes lost the dummy??
we've found that been tough with sophie is working, she gets one chance a dn thats it. e.g shes told when she gets into bed if she gets out of bed the door is closed, we folllow through very promptly and it seems to work. she was feral after bath stuffing around kicking DH etc when getting dressed but i found talking to her about what weve done during the day really helps, keeps her calm and nice, she loves telling daddy what shes done! we make a bid deal of that. they really try and control everything and we found been tough works. i hope tonight you get a little more sleep, so im sending you some sleepy dust all round
-
I too have a toddler with attitude!! ALthough last night he went to bed with no fuss. E was really howlng, and i told him that he had to be a big boy and go straight to sleep for me, and he did.
I tried weaning E off her reflux drugs. Bad move as now she is VERY unsettled. Atill ony doing 40 mins for EVERY day sleep now. Self settles well, but just won't stay asleeo. Also still doing 1 night feed, usually around 4am.
Holly - Thinking of you mate.
ali - I hope you get a quiet night with being in your own.
nai - Hope everyone is feeling better in your house.
det - glad the snip went well. Gee how do you do it on so little sleep>>!!
Ohh - I am on a new page and I can't remember what else was said.
I have been doing a lot of thinking at the mo. I am a little sleep deprived, as I can't sellep. many of you know tht my cousin had a late loss at 35 weeks when I was pregnant with E/]. She had a little boy named Will. I just can't stop thinking about him, and feeling almost guilty that I have my babies. Anyway I think it might be good for me to see a counsellor, as I just can't seem to think of anything else. He was cremated and burried at our holiday house, so when I was there last week, I bought him a colourful windmill which is now under his tree. I am VERY close to m cousin. She is an only child from parents that seperated when she was a toddler, so she was raised liek a sister. It is like I have lost my nephew. Gosh - sometimes I wonder how you can love someone so much, that you never even got cuddle and kiss. Acltually I might post in the late loss setion, as I am sure some of those lovely ladies may be able to give me some advice.
-
Very selfish post as extremely exhausted today. DD has been feeding a lot overnight as I think I have posted previously... well Thursday night DH, DD and I came down to my in law's beach house, she was a dream in the car as we left at 7.30pm so she just slept the whole way.
When we got here though (11.30pm) she woke and then took about two hours to go back to sleep, then woke again at 4am, 6am, 8am, then DH took her up to play with Grandma so I could get some more sleep.
Last night was even worse - got her to sleep by 6.45pm, she woke for a feed at 7.45pm, 10pm, 11.50pm, then 2am and didn't go back to sleep til 4.30am. DH and I were both trying to settle her... she wouldn't even feed to sleep, every time I tried to put her down she'd wake and cry. She fed three times between 2am and 4.30am.
I was in tears in the end and DH didn't realise I was upset, he thought I was mad at him, not upset, so he didn't even comfort me.
Then she woke again at 5.15am, 6.30am and 8am. Its like she's cluster feeding in the morning. WHY???
So tired. I know its only a phase, I know its a new place and she's probably stressed about that, I know. But I am exhausted.
-
OP- I'm not surprised you feel exhausted. Its so hard and once they get overtired its even harder to get them to sleep. I hope things settle down for you and you find a way to help her settle easier.
Meg- From what you said it sounds like it would be an idea to see a councillor. If something plays on your mind that much you need to deal with it before it gets on top of you.
Have you put E back on the meds? We still get 40min sleeps here tho sometimes can go up to an hour.
AJP- I think she is waking from wind cause she is such a farty baby then when she is windy she wants to suck so I give her the dummy and then she spits it out to fart then cries again. If she is just using dummy to sleep she is ok, spits it out when she goes to sleep.
Last night was better she took 150mls of bottle at 8:30 then slept til 2. I woke before that and couldn't sleep! Tossing and turning cause so used to waking!
Ash was better last night too cause now she thinks if she is naughty she has to sleep outside with the spiders, nothing else has worked so far we had rewards, stickers, taking away her bed teddies you name it.
-
Kaz - on the birth story sweetie.. I think they would understand your feelings on the subject.
Nai - they lent us a pram off their floor. There are 4 people ahead of me waiting for their prams as well.
gotta go A woke up
-
She has just taken two hours to settle again... sigh...
Praying for good sleep...
-
awww op have you tried a deep bath?? or a massage?
where is your inlaws holiday house?
shell .... farts hey  poor chook have you tried any drops with her, not sure which ones though
kaz
meg my best friend lost her bubs 3 yrs ago come august, tragically in labour, i cried about it yesterday.. still upsets me greatly, i think its only normal to grieve, i think seeing someone is a great idea
tarkine man that pram must be test driving itself to you!
AFM i have a :cold: damm it
-
Will try and catch up on some personals now...
AJP, poor thing! Know how you feel
Beach house is down in Apollo Bay, lovely being here but gee DD struggles with sleeping in a different location... But it is good having Grandma and Grandpa here to help, Grandma does everything for her, changes nappies, plays with her, all I have to do is feed.
Tarkine how ridiculous about the pram and all those people on the waiting list! What is the deal???
shell bummer on not sleeping when E was sleeping! Always the way. Here's hoping you do better tonight.
Meg, I think you should talk to someone too. I'm so sorry for your loss, esp as you are so close to your cousin. Hope you feel better soon
Ali - hope things settle down a bit with Ash soon with the feeds! Isabel went through it as well a few weeks back. It will pass! So was it AF do you think? Have you weed on a stick JIC?
Mhami, so jealous of Posy sleeping so well! :D
Kaz, I still get emotional talking about my birth experience too. It is just natural! Glad the parents group went well, hope it continues to go well for you. I'm loving mine! Course how could I not love it, when Det is there! :D
Nai, hope you are feeling better soon love!
-
hug OP- hang in there - remember the same thing happened to me with levi feeding heaps when we were at Natachas house- that was 2 weeks ago!!!! so you knew it was gonna come lol- hang in there - i got 3 full nite sleeps not long after that!!!!!!
AJP- hope your cold gets better soon- we have been tiptoing around colds for a couple of weeks and so far only DS had one for a few days- crossing fingers!!!
OMG- tarkaine that is soo bad about the pram- what type are you waiting for?
Megiemoppit- a cancellor sounds like a good idea- good for you!! hugs hun
Kaz- so glad that you went to your parents group- good for you girls- lourve mine cause i get to see OP and isabel lol - and the rest of the mums are really nice as well
Nai- are you going to the meetup still on Wednesday?? Anyone else in melb is welcome as well- Happy River in footscray at 12pm- there is a thread !!
AFM- Levi has FINALLY gone to sleep!!!!! He only slept 3x45mins today. Slept most of yesterday so he made up for it today- he was happy and fine about staying awake- but he was just sooo tired and jumpy! No pain for him- he was a happy chappy all day and wouldnt even know that he has had his op yesterday- what a champ!
He ended up sleeping with us last nite as i was worried about how he would be - was fine except he fed ALLL nite long- now i know why i dont co-sleep- he is back in his cot tonite!! LOL
time for bed now!!!
phew
-
op apollo bay sounds lovely!! i hope isabel slept better for yopu last night. DD1 was similar, liked her own bed! still does.
det wow late night for the party boy  hope you went to bed not long after him!!
i sort of co-slept with millie this morning for an hour as she woke when DH woke to go to work and cos i have a cold and couldnt be bothered sitting up we fed in bed then i wrapped her up adn she slept next to me for an hour til sophie woke, put millie back to bed and put sophie in mine!! musical beds!!
still feel like crap! DH working this weekend so no rest for me again today
-
Shell -
Meg - Give your babies an extra big hug when you feel down about loosing your nephew. Can't image what that is like hun.
OP - a friend of mine used to take a portacot with her everywhere - to BBQs etc, and would put her kids in it and her theory was the thing smelt like them, like 'home' so they would settle down whereever she went. I don't know if this will work but maybe worth a go.
AJP - yeah the pram is making its own way from Sydney (hehe). Its a beema Q and apparently it is a supply issue.. they gave me a pram off the showroom, and when I went in there 3 weeks ago (to be told it would be arriving in the next fortnight) they had no prams on the floor - so they had given them out to everyone on the waiting list. Of course my SIL had to upgrade her Beema Q to a two seater, so there is now one in the family (argh!)... Always the way.
Not saying anything about A and his sleeping but its good. But I've got two days around the outlaws, so who knows what it will be like..
Your all doing such a marvelous job. I read about you all and I think WOW!!
:grouphug: go team mum!!
-
Tarkine- I hope its a bloody good pram for all the waiting!
Det- Glad he is doing well post op, being that age he wouldn't even remember it!
OP- How did your night go? Maybe try take arvo naps after a feed if your mum is around can let you sleep for a bit. Thats great she is so hands on and helpful.
AJP- I was using infacol a while back but then things improved now windy again!
Average night here, Em has a cold on the way, snuffly, sneezed 7 times straight this morn with the hugest snot coming out (tmi) think she felt better after, not feeding so well overnight and more vomity than usual. Its always something with these babies tho! Ash was good, didn't sleep straight away but stayed in bed singing and reading, which I don't mind, think she needs the wind down time. I try have quiet wind down time prior to bed but she keeps being manic!
-
AJP - Posy usually sleeps from 9 to 6 or 10 to 7. :crossfingers: that it lasts! She's reasonably good at settling during the day as well. I have a cold too. Not fun.
OP - Hope you don't come back from your holiday more exhausted than when you left. Glad to hear your MIL is taking over during the day. My in-laws have a holiday house in Ocean Grove which is just the best. Only been down there once since Posy was born but it was nice to get some ocean air in the lungs.
Meg - disturbing things tend to play on my mind as well, though the grief you're feeling sounds normal. I'd definitely go to a counsellor to talk things through. Is there one you can get an appointment with easily? Waiting lists for these services always seem so long!
Well - we're starting the process of looking for a new house. Our teeny tiny worker's cottage is getting v. squeezy now that the playmats, toys, etc are out on the floors. We're just after an extra room and a patch of grass out the back.
-
Det - yep I will be there but probably not until 12.30 - I hope that's ok. Save me a seat?
Jols - I still have my cold. It's driving me insane!
Miss J slept 3 x 45min yesterday and then last night screamed from 7.30 - 9.30pm when she finally went to sleep with me shoving the dummy in her mouth! She did slepp until 5am and then until 8.30 (as did DD1) so at least I got a sleep in. Although I now think Miss J has the cold and she was sucking so much and crying as she had a sore throat :(
-
Hi all
A slightly better night last night with DD - she still woke and fed lots but settled straight after each feed. But she fed hourly from 2am to 6am.
This afternoon she cried for like half an hour, I just could not settle her... ended up crying, thankfully my sister is here too and she knew something was up and came to help. Feel like such a useless mummy when you can't settle them!
She's asleep now but very unsettled - has been waking up every half an hour or so and crying. MIL is settling her... but I want to go to sleep... sigh...
Det, I hear ya! I just wish she were showing signs of becoming more like Levi... Are you missing MG on Wednesday then, if you're going to the meet up??
What a champ your little man is!
Nai, I hope you and the girls are feeling better soon.
Mhami - good luck with the house hunting!
tarkine, I think the same thing - we are all doing so well!
AJP - sounds like me, I co sleep a little in the mornings to try and get more sleep. Didn't work this morning though :(
Shell, hope the cold hasn't developed!
Hi to everyone else, going to bed I think.
-
OOH OP
just as well i remembered
Mothers group this week is on Thursday instead at Tish's house- it suited her better- so now you are free to come to the meet up!!!!!
phew thank goodness i remembered!!!
8.15pm tonite and 3 kids including Levi asleep
mind you since then and now he has awoken for 3 feeds- but then straight back to sleep- phew maybe we are turning a corner on these late nite bedtimes!!!
hang in there OP!!! It will turn the corner soon!!!!!!!
PROMISE!!!
-
Oohhhh thanks for reminding me!!! Eeek the meet up - will you hold my hand? I am nervous!!
Well Isabel hasn't stirred in half an hour so I'm off to bed.
Sleepy dust everyone...
-
no problemo OP! i will be there to hold your hand!!!
have a good nite sleep
gonna go to bed myself- shock !!! Going to bed b4 2am- mind you no paperwork done tonite - ah well
take care
mwah
tarkain- btw i have the beema Q pram and its ACE!!!
-
op glad you had a better night!!
det hope you got to bed earlier!!
i still have a cold, sophies barking and millie is unsettled :( yay for us
-
Woot- am finally feeling a bit better and starting to shake this cold!!! OP it would be great to see you at the meet on Wednesday - I'm not scary (am I? Det or Jols?)
-
Wow heaps to catch up on....
Heaven- How did the christening go? Did you sort out the godparents drama?
Nai- Glad the colds are finally making there way out of your house. Lets hope they stay out!
OP- Glad you got more sleep. Hopefully when you get back to your house Isabel will get back into her sleep routine. Glad that there have been people there to help.
Jols- Oh no  thats no good. Does panadol help the kids at all with colds or not really? Hope you all get better soon
Det- Yay for a paperwork free night. I honestly dont know how you survive on such little sleep!
I cant remember what else. Will have to go back and read again...
AFM- had a busy wekend. Had friends over on Saturday night and there little girl who is 7months was so hillarious with Ashlyn. She was doing this roaring noise and trying to get to Ashlyn when they were playing on the floor and poor little Ashlyn was scared of her! She slept really well Sat night. I think she is def in a sleep routine now (well I think - I can see patterns emerging). I dont know when I will ever get her into her cot but at the moment I dont care as co-sleeping is working for us and I am so thankful not to have to get up in the cold part of the night to feed her or settle her. We also went and saw family on Sunday and then had some more friends drop round last night to visit us. We have the termite people here again today and they knocked ont he door at 6:30 this morning and asked me to move my car! ggrrrrr! I had the worst bed hair (well whats left of my hair) and was not impressed. Managed to then feed Ash and then go back to sleep until 9:30.
Cant believe Ashlyn is 11 weeks old today! The weeks are going so quickly!
-
Miss E has slept through the past two nigjts, but darned if I can get more than half and hour out of her two or three times a day. She is a HOPELESS day sleeper. She used to resettle with the dummy, but now she is refusing it, and spitting it out!
Ali - Glad you are getting some patterns. If cosleeping works for you, then keep doing it!!
ALP - Hope evertyone recovers soon from their colds.
Det - I don't know how you survive on so little sleep! What sort of paperwork do you have to do?
OP - I hpe you ahve been getting some rest.
good luck om the house hunt mhami.
Gotta go - bubs is stirring. *sigh* 40 mins is not long enough for me to get much done
-
BBL but need to say before i forget... millie was concieved a year ago today :heartbeat:
-
YAY! BB is back up! So many things I have wanted to jump on her and say all day now I have to go and remember them!
-
Hey girls!
Sorry I have been MIA. Was away for DDs christening since last Wednesday. It all went really well!! She was such a good girl. The only time she cried was when the minister held her but as soon as she started putting the water on her head she stopped and just stared at her. She loves the water. And she looked very beautiful in her dress!! I will have to post a photo when I put them on the computer!
Poor DD is a very tired little girl now though. I don't know what's wrong, maybe growth spurt but the last 2 nights have been BAD!!!! Last night the longest she slept was 2.5hrs, then she was up feeding every hour!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG. I hope it doesn't last too long, I can't take much more. Is this the 12 wk thing? Is everyone else having the same issues? I will have to read back and see now!!
Good to be home!! Now I just have to unpack everything, great.
-
Heaven - Glad the Christening went well. E will be Christened soon. She is going to be wearing her Great, Great, Great Grandmothers Christening gown. It is just beautiful. Very plain, made of linnen. (which is probably why it has lasted so long)
BB has been down a lot lately hey?!!
So today I have changed all the sheets, cleaned the bathrooms, done a vac, and cleaning the kitcehn as well asgot the dinner on (In slow cooker) All left to do is a bit of ironing, and then I am off the hook as far as housework goes for the rest of the day!!
-
SJ- Glad the christening went well. 12 weeks seems to be the time everything goes haywire! Hopefully she'll settle down.
AJP- Lol. You made me go work out the date Em was conceived, June 4th! I was joking to Df that since conceiving her we've dtd once and neither of us miss it!
Meg- Do you know how long a wait it is til sleep school? I know how exhausting it is cause Ash was exact same way. Em still does short sleeps but thankfully does a few of them.
Ali- We're prolly gonna wait til Em is rolling alot before going into the cot, it is nice and easier having her next to me to feed and settle, plus I find I worry less if she is ok in the night cause she is right there.
OP- How are things going with you? Any improvements?
mhami- Good luck with house hunt. Are you renting or buying? I have a few friends looking for rental properties and having such hard time to get what they want, guess it depends on what you want, what area and price range.
My supply seems to be dropping off, last 2 days had to top up some feeds with formula, mainly at end day cause just barely anything in them, even let down doesn't feel as strong. I just think all this exhaustion and stress doesn't help. I can't relax to feed too much going on, at least with Ash i used to be able to put my feet up and take my time, now there just too much going on all the time.
-
Are you super woman Meg? Lol, I have managed to vacuum and settle a screaming baby who wouldn't feed or sleep.
-
hey heaven hang in there- i went through that phase with levi around the same time- feeding all niters- not long after we got 3 full nite sleeps- so hang in there- Op is going through the same thing at the moment as well!!! Its exhausting. We also had a socker 2 nites ago- levi fed 4 times, as well as DS1up twice and DD1 up once! Was out of bed more than i was in it lol- so i reckon they go a bit feral every 4 weeks- just before they hit another month old.
Glad the christening went well heaven!
just back from health centre for his 4 month check up
all good- weight is now 7.9kg- my little boofa
he is doing everything that he should be- although not rolling yet- he is thinking real hard about it and nearly there- found him down the other end of the cot this morning and sideways- dunno how he got there lol!
His circum looks really good- had his first bath last nite since it was done and changed the dressing- i can honestly say that the whole process has not bothred him in the slightest! The only time he actaully cried was when he was cold and hungry after coming out of theatre. What a champ! He had a feed, wrapped him up and fell back to sleep- woke up later smiling at me and luaghing.
shell- have you thought about some blessed thistle tablets- from the health food shop- worked really well with the twins for helping my supply. Plus at 12 weeks that feeling of being full all the time, subsided a bit as well! Also keep your water up as that makes a big difference as well.
And girls now that Levi has hit 4 months- he has worked out that he needs to sleep more than 40 mins during the day as well!!! WHOOT!!! Sat slept very little as i posted during the day, but Monday and today- he has got it!!!!!!!!! Slept for 2 hours yesterday in the pram- hmm had a massage whilst he was asleep at doncaster, and today he has been asleep so far for over an hour- he is in the capsule as we were out this morning- not game enough to move him lol!!
So there is hope!!!!!
also stopped wrapping him last week- he was starting to move a bit and his startle reflex has gone now!
Heatlh centre nurse said to think about introducing solids to him soon as he is starting to get hungry and has the tongue thing happening. Think i might wait another month, unless he starts going crazy and wanting to feed all the time again.
Solids is good fun! except for the stnky nappies that accompany the introduction of food! LOL
hmm still asleep so better go do some domestics
mwah!!!
-
LEVI JUST ROLLED TWICE!!!!
hey i knew he was close- what a champ- didnt think he was only an hour off doing it!! LOL
now time to put the cot sides up!!! LEt the fun begin!!!!
-
Arrrrrh! this server is driving me nuto!!! I typed up a long post with personals and lost it, then I wrote another post apologising and it lost that so now I am just giveing everyone a :grouphug:
And  for Levi!!!
-
Ali- I usually copy my post first so when it does stuff up I can just paste the reply back in.
Det- Yay on the rolling! Emily tries so hard when she is on her tummy to get back but just can't quite get over her arm.
-
dont use quick reply guys!!!
det yay for levi!!!! super effort!! weve rolled a few times but not lately!!
shell i think its a growth spurt as my supple seems low at the end of the day, make sure your drinking heaps of water!
-
SJ - Glad the christening went well darl. Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight!
Det - whoohoo on Levi rolling. 7.9kg :o OMG!! He'll be able to ride forwards in the car seat soon!
Shell - to you. You're sounding so tired and busy mate. I heard that our bbies get more efficient at making milk etc so it could be that causing you to feel less full? Look after yourself darl. How are things with DF? Is he appreciating you more?
Ali - hello lovely! How frustrating you lost your posts. Hope all is well with A. Has she stopped screaming and fussing during feeds yet?
Meg - whoohoo on having the afternoon off from housework!
AJP - How're your energy levels going? Hope you're taking time to rest.
Hi to everyone else!!
AFM - J is doing well atm. I'm a bit like Tarkine, don't want to mention sleep because it's not too bad here compared to what some of you are going through. Actually last night he slept from 10pm to 7am!! He hasn't slept through like that since he was 2 weeks old. I woke up with my bbies about to explode! So painful. I'm sure my turn of hourly overnight feeds will come! He's a bit younger than most of your bubs so I reckon next week will be our shocker. :hugs: to all who are going without sleep. It won't last!
-
:hello: I survived the outlaws
We had great aunty, gran and great gran and I'm exhausted!! DS was a trooper with being passed from one to the other, and the look on his face when he saw 4 of hte other grandkids was priceless (big bulging eyes "hey they are closer to my size!) The three of them were jammed in the laundry, wiht gran bathing Alex in the laundry trough!
Sorry just got back and I'm up to my eyeballs in laundry and I'm absolutely stuffed.
Nai - woot on getting over the cold
Kaz - well done on the overnight sleep.
Sorry no personals, just trying to recover from the inlaws (hehe).
:grouphug:
-
Hi yummy mummies
Back home - got home late last night and resettled Isabel in her own bed. She slept better - fed at midnight, 2.30am, 5am. Didn't settle after the 5am feed so eventually DH brought her in and we coslept until about 8.30am.
Don't know how you guys do it all night - I was a bit stiff and sore from holding my body rigid so as not to fall onto DD! Serious question - how do you feed from both sides while cosleeping? Do you move around or something?
Tonight she has settled much easier - she fed really well after her bath and went straight to sleep with the dummy when I put her in the cot. Going to go to bed soon. DH looking for some action - we'll see how we go. It still hurts, TBH! Sorry for the TMI! :tmi:
Tarkine - well done on surviving the in laws! Good luck catching up on laundry!
Kaz - hoping you don't go thru this hun. It is not fun but as Det says its just a phase!
Det - what a champ is Levi - the snip snip, the weight gain, the rolling!!! What an absolute champ.
Shell - I'm wondering if mine is dropping a bit too. I'm going to have a chilled day at home tomorrow, drink lots of water and see if I can get DD a bit more settled. I know what you mean about the exhaustion not helping.
Ali, bummer about the posts! I copy-paste whenever I'm writing something long.
Meg, super woman on the cleaning! Hoping to get some done myself here.
SJ - I'm having a feral 12 week thing now too. Except we started before 12 weeks and are still going at 13 weeks... sigh!
Nai - don't think I will make it tomorrow, feeling a bit tired from my time away and we're going back down on Thurs so need to catch up on housework. That and I'm scaredy cat LOL
Hi to everyone else!
-
hello everyone!!
i did a big post last night with personals finally!! but then lost it all :(
once i get bella to sleep i will catch up again :)
-
Hi all,
Bummer about losing the post!
OP - With cosleeping, you just get used to it, and don't end up feeling as stiff.
Det - Yaya on the rolling. E has rolled once yest from tummy to back, but that's about it so far.
Kaz - Glad the sleeing is going well.
Tarkine - Glad you survived the outlaws
E seems to think that it is time to get up at 5am, and J was up at least 3 times last night. Very tired today....
-
Shel - I know what you mean about being unable to rest with baby #2. Maybe try some fenugreek for the milk supply as well?
Det - it was great to see you again yesterday. Levi is such a cutie!
OP - missed not meeting you :( Next time? With co-sleeping I roll Miss J over my chest from one side to the other for feeding. You do get used to it and find a position that works. We had Miss J in with us the other night as she now has the cold - Grrrrr!
Megie - I hope E sorts herself out soon and sleeps a bit later for you! 5am is a bit too early to start the day.
Kaz - yay on the sleep!
Tarkine - good to see you back. Glad you survived :D
AFM - we had Miss J's 3 month check earlier this week. She is STILL Little Miss Average - 50th percentile for everything. 59cm long and 5.33kg so she is very consistent. However, the poor little thing is all stuffed up with the cold now. She has a little snotty nose is making noises when she breathes - it's so sad :( DP went in and got the snip done on Tuesday so definitely no more babies for us now! He was told to "do nothing" after the procedure and let me tell you he really took "doing nothing" to a whole new level. Even yesterday he came home from work early and lay down in bed and did nothing again. Amazing how men can do that!
