Ali - sending you a big I agree with AJP. You should post in here more often if needed over the next couple of weeks to vent! That is what we're here for. Wishing Ash lots of sleepy vibes (cause then you'll get some too!). I'll be thinking of you both.
Nai - Hope the conjunctivitis clears up soon! That's a great routine Miss J has!
Shell - LOL at you losing your voice over footy! Nothing wrong with that! This is a swans household and Jacob already had a jersey before he even got home from hospital!!
Heaven - OMG at the standing!! Have you kid-proofed your house yet?
Hi to everyone else!!

AFM - Jacob has fed 9 times a day since Wednesday when I started counting them again. He was a 7 feeds a day from birth kind of kid too. Not sure what is going on. I thought it was teeth at first but I don't think so anymore. He's just grumbly and unsettled during the day and he's nowhere near 26 weeks (not quite 23) for it to be a wonder week. He is still generally good overnight feeding once or twice between 9pm and 7-9am. He's also had lots of poo every day (seems to have stopped today) but before that was doing like 3-4 a day. Sometimes it was green too.

I'm worried about how few settling techniques we use. It's mainly the dummy (late in the day or if he's been awake a long time and in the pram where he rarely sleeps or for cot sleeps) or feeding or distraction (which only works for a little while). I can't get him to roll over into another sleep cycle with patting etc. Once he wakes up he wants to party. So he does 4-5 small naps all day - the first might be 1.5hrs but after that its 40-60mins a go. Right up until 8 or 9pm. Any ideas or does this sound within the realms of normal? I guess I had expected by 5 months that his day sleeps might reduce in number and increase in length and that his feeds might reduce as well but instead they've both increased.

Sorry that turned into a really long me post. Hope you all had a good weekend! Hugs to all the bubs.
