He has finally gone down. He was awake for 5 and a half hours. So funny, he wasn't even cranky most of the time, only when I'd try to get him to sleep . So exhausted now *yawn*
OMG just spent the last 2 hours putting Sam to sleep, got into an argument with DH in the process, not a good morning at MOose's household! Poor Sam was a bit feverish and did the same thing as last week, screaming murder, pretty sure its teething again. Gave her some panadol after about an hour and even that only helped a little. I ended up by the patio door in our unit on a chair, rocking Sammy on a chair that doesn't rock for an hour whilst she was looking outside, she ended up letting out 3 big stinky farts and fell asleep...DH is asleep as well, so am going to lay down and relax. That was VERY tiring to say the least..
Sterla, I know that Sammy is now staying up for 2 hours or so and not 1.5 like she used to, so bear in mind that it could be that or he could start having movement movements in his gums..or he could just be a little bugger! ;-)
He has finally gone down. Moose, I have no idea what's up with him. He has been staying awake for 2 hours for a little while now, but he was definitely tired. Not sure if it's teething... how can you tell? He likes chewing on things, but doesn't seem in pain. It seems to be him only getting cranky when I try to get him to sleep - if I keep him up longer he seems fine, though he's definitely tired with the amount of yawning and eye-rubbing he's doing. I don't know. These bubs can be a mystery sometimes. How is Sammy going - poor baby .
if he is drooling like tehre is no tomorrow and REALLY chewing on stuff, wants to chew my fingers, more than the usual stuff but yes it could just be that Mr Oli is going through a phase, it is after all a new house so he may still be getting used to everything. Hope he calms down. Sammy is a bit better since she has woken up but whingy..can't blame her poor thing. Alrighty back to the play mat!

AFM: arg....*^*&^&*&^^%*%. Ok. now thats out of the way. eheh. been 'one of those days' but strangely not due to daz. mainly everything else! i've just not been able to catch up on house work! then DH drops it on me that we're going to medicare to claim the LPG rebate - which becuase we didnt have the rego papers- we couldnt do. so that means a 3rd trip to vicroads in 7 days?!!?!?!?! and then tells me he's doing the 'late' shift (10am-6pm) as of tomorrow for a month (i'd phyiced myself up it to start *next* week...and im *still* sick and daz has the cold now too! *hmph!*
any whooo better go and feed the hungry minni man...
Blip: Oliver's okay... He hasn't been cranky, just not sleeping. He's had about 40 minutes all day I'd say. Like you, I haven't been able to get anything done. That sucks about having to go into VicRoads so much.
Blip: Lol - I'm hoping that Oliver has gotten over whatever it was for now, cause he's had no trouble going to sleep this evening and night. He's gone down for the night now no problems - hooray!
Moose: Thanks for the tips on telling if bubs are teething. From what you've said, I don't think Oliver is teething properly yet. While he does enjoy chomping on everything, and slobbers a bit, he doesn't seem extra cranky or in pain... so I don't think it's teething. How is poor Sammy going with it? It seems so unfair to make little bubs go through all that pain so young .
Peach: How is Winter going? How are you?
DH and I are having a housewarming party soon - on the 11th July - we've invited everyone we know well enough (so about 30 odd people, lol). It should be really good - we'll be seeing some friends and family we haven't seen in awhile, and we can show Oliver off some more ! I think the housewarming is then turning into a girls movie night, so that will be fun! All my close girlfriends will be here, and as Oliver seems to be going to sleep earlier now, I might actually get to have a really good, long girly chat, which I haven't had in ages!

AFM: daz and i went shopping today. i bought him a nice and snuggly warm jacket today. as we're going on a family driving holiday next month - we're going to marysvil (where all the bursh fires where) 'cus DH and i drove though (and stoppped at the little IGA they had there for shapoo as my wedding hair wasnt comming out with out a fight haha!) and we want to see what its like now (it'll be 6 and a half months on...) so i found a jacket, now we need pants. if i cant find any im thinking of making some myself (ohh dear...) but we'll wait and see! also had MG today. daz was good minus his reflux playing up! but it was nice. next one is at my place (and its a wee little house....our back yard is big....so in the wamer eather it'll be good!) and friday i'm going to be busy - i've got my old high school teacher coming over plus two girls from high school! woo going to be a busy day! (but DH is doing the 'late' shift from 10am-6pm) so something to keep me going is always nice!
any whoo i better go and *think* about dinner DH will be home soon...g'nite my lovies!
Well DH is gone. He left on Monday. I'm so sad. He rang me before and he is having a crap time. Very anxious. I'm ringing him tonight to tell him to just stick at it. Toughen up. It is the military and he needs to be tough. He is learning just like everyone else and needs to stop being a perfectionist. It is only 12 weeks of ****e and then afterwards he is treated like a human being again. But because we are so connected i am feeling his anxiety and i have been teary all day. Had a good cry this arvo. Feeling some what better but i just need him to do his best and stick at it.
Anyway, i will be in and out. So busy with 3 littlies being on my own. Plus trying to keep it together emotionally.
Antheia- I cant even imagine how hard it must be for you right now, big hugs and try to stay strong. Do you have anyone IRL nearby to help you out with the little ones while your DH is gone? We are hear for you anytime you need to chat online
Blip- Your a busy Mummy arent you?! Does your MG just go to each other house each week? Have you made any good friends out of the bunch? Good to hear Daz is sleeping well!
Sterla- Good to have you back! Your house looks awesome, I checked out the photos thanks for sharing Housewarming will be nice, especially girly movie night. How is the little man treating his Mummy?
It will be great for you when your MG FINALLY starts, but seriously dont expect it to be amazing strait away, sometimes it takes a while but how exciting, I bet you cant wait!
Moose- Is Sammy settling better now? How are you going? Its been taking me ages to get Winter to sleep too so I feel your stress.
All is not too bad here, one of my MG friends came over today with her Bub so that was nice Winter was in a mood all day though untill about 4 pm when we went for a walk while DP mowed the lawn then she was all of a sudden in the best mood ever! So lovely. Nights havnt gotten any better though, last night she didnt wake up till 2am(she goes to bed at 7) so I thought we had got off easy... then she was up every hour untill 7am. I just want a full night sleep!
Exciting though, she rolled from her tummy to her back for the first time ever this morning! So clever
Not much else happening, got MG tmrw, meeting at the park which will be nice looking forward to it.
