    Hey All,

I have not been around for a while (due to some MASSIVE issues I have been having)

I have finally sorted things out (hopefully) as I was a mess and now things are back on track with Jayde and me

I have had ALOT of reading to catch up on and hope all the ladies and babies are well

Jayde is doing well - we have a structure now 930 sleep and wake at 4am for feed and sleep til 7 ish I am pretty happy about this as it means I get some sleep too which I need. She has put on 2kgs since birth and is changing every day

sorry for no personals I shall get around to everyone now I have come back and stopped slacking off

Hi Ladies.... Just a really quick question.
Has anyone had any experience with exclusively breastfed babies with reflux, colic and constipation. ???? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks Em

As soon as they put Mia in my arms Gabber I wanted no 2, we started trying when she was 6 months old! Needless to say we have a 17 months age gap between the girls! It took me a little longer to come around to no 3 though and now having him, I can definately say we are done!

I am clucky too! Cant wait for another 20 babies lol.. Actually my milk supply changed overnight (much less engorged) and all of a sudden I'm famished all the time (just like when I was pregnant) so I was thinking hey maybe I am pregnant!! the hormonal change would certainly effect my supply and what other reason do I have for being so hungry? Imagine though, my babies wouldn't even be a year apart!
More likely, Vaeda is starting to take more milk from me, leading me to have less milk and require more sustanance to keep up.
Went to mothers group for the first time yesterday - I didn't realise that Vaeda is a little baby! All the other babies seemed so big compared to her, and she is the oldest one!! Some of them were sooo chubby! Was fun to see so many babies all in one room, can't wait til next time!

Hey chookie, Chloe is bf and reflux, what was it that you wanted to know? I cant really help with the colic in relation to bf cause I have never seen it but guessing that colic in either ff or bf is much the same, not much can help but cuddles and love, they will grow out of it, usually 3mths at the latest. Is bubs struggling to go, like straining and doing pebbles, cause it is extremely uncommon for bf bubs to be constipated, but it is very common for them to go up to 10 days without doing no.2's , its just a no.3 when they do.

To everyone thinking about another of thinking they are preggers, you are crazy hehehe, I dont have to worry about that yet, you have to have sex to fall pregnant , there's 21mths between my 2 and thats close enough for me, although I think I might do it like that again if I can.

Vintrar - amelia was always the little baby in the room, chloe is always the biggest, little porka has stacked on half a kilo in two weeks, shes 8 weeks old today and is 5.7kg now and 62cm.

Colestar - welcome back, I hope everything is sorting itself out, sounds like Jayde is doing really well, sort of what Chloe does at night except she is doing 10.30 to 4.30
then 7.30, then 10 before a play. One day this week she even went from 10.30 to 6.30, my poor b00bies were going to explode.

Green - i'm not sure what the neocate works but maybe ask about parachoc (its parafin oil), i just dont know how young you can give it, my niece started about 1 on it, she had permanent bowel problems with constipation is is pretty much permanetly using it, poor dear.

Kaz - my pelvis is sacrolliac joint dysfunction, had it during the end of my 1st pregnancy and all through this one and went to physio and hydrotherapy once a week. It gets so painful that I cant walk, and not cause of the pain, my muscles just seeze up and wont let me, then if I force it my hip joints collapse. Had another appointment and again she did nothing but recommend a new pair of shoes, and how to sleep a bit differently, not that I already dont know it. Maybe you should go to a physio, I was told cause the ligaments are still stretchy that your pelvis can still misalign, and as they harden it can leave your pelvis out. It may have initially gone cause they weight on it was taken away. Your poor little man doesnt sound like he is having a very good trot, hope he starts getting better. I would hold off on the other formulas, my gp doesnt like little boys on soy cause of hormones in it but there is speculation over that I think, but I was also told last week that having lactose and stuff removed from the diet doesnt let their bodies learn to digest it and can lead to an intolerance, but who knows these days with some of the crap that gets made up, Amelia was lactose intolerant from about 7mth to 13mth.

    Hey All

Glad to be back and on track

Jayde had her needles yesturday (we were late getting them as they should have been done at 6 weeks but she had a cold) she was good until they poked her with the needle - she slept most of yesturday but stuck to her routine...today she is a big whingy but she is still sleeping when she is ment to which is good.

I have decided to enforce a routine apon her now as I think she is old enough to understand as she knows the difference between day and night and after doing MUCH reading I think if I stick to something we can work together So bedtime begins at 7pm and has been working for last 3 days - I have tried a dream feed and it worked she didnt wake til 6am (ish) she took to it well I just did it at around 11pm and she begun to suck.

I have a mothers group with a bunch of girls I went to school with their bubs are all much older then Jayde but its nice to compare stories and hang with some girls watching movies and making cakes lol. My friend had her little girl recently and Jayde compared to her is MASSIVE (and Jayde is average size) this lil one is TINY so cute though...

AFM - I have kidney problems for those who didnt know from my bellybelly group and FINALLY my kidney's are function at their normal rate (not a normal rate) but certinally not as bad as they got when I was pregnant

As for this talk about having another baby HAHAHAHA Ill leave that one for a little while too

Cole - sounds like Jade is being really good for you. Luka doesn't really have a consistant routine, normally he will have have feed around 8-9 and go through until 3. But the last couple of night he has woken for a midnight feed. Maybe he is just having a growth spurt?

Study - thanks for the thoughts. I am with you on changing the formula, really not something I want to do! I didn't know about the soy and that it can cause issues with hormones. Interesting, might need to investigate that. Your pelvic issues sound bad, I know how painful it can be when something isn't right, it affects every day life in general.

OMG .. my girls are sitting next to me fighting and I am really over it this morning. Hopefully their daddy gets home from work soon. Until then I had better get off of here and go and play referee.

my little boy (1o weeks) had his first sleep over last night at my parents place.... he did really well.... we had a great child free night with friends... its funny i would have been stressing my head off with my first born but with your second you relax so much more!!! i missed him and was great to have a cuddle when he got home... its definitely easier to leave them when they are young, my 3 year old was a bit sooky and upset missing me, but bubs was as happy as larry!

    Hey Ladies,

    Hope everyone is ok

Kaz- See this was jayde a few weeks back and she wanted food every 3 hours and it was BAD but she amazinlgy grew and I think it was cause she was having a growth spurt at least thats what I am putting it down to.

I had a nice girly night on Saturday night with Jayde and my best friend. We sat in the backyard and had a few drinks and some nibblies as Jayde slept it was nice to sit down with a friend and relax I think its one of the only times since having Jayde that I have been so relaxed it is certinally what I needed

    Much Love to all xo
