    Hi Girls,

I hope you all enjoyed Christmas with your bubs & had a lovely day. We had a lovely day with family. Our girls got way too many presents, very lucky girls they are!!

We've got no plans for new years eve tonight coz DH is working 10pm-6am. On Sunday we're going up to Port Douglas for 3 nights. It will be nice to get away, I just hope the weather is ok, I think it might rain though.

Hope you all have a great new year!

    Hi Girls,

Dusty - YAY for Freya's harness coming off! I saw the good news on FB. Hope you are enjoying how much easier nappy changes etc are now!

Hope everyone else is well and enjoying their bubs.

Just wondering if anyone has started solids? I tried a week or so ago, and Ted seemed to love it, but now he gags. I guess I will persist - I just try once a day and don't push it if he's not interested.

Best go, Ted is waking up x

Ambah is on solids. We had to, otherwise she'd do everything in her power to get the food out of our hands. She doesn't gag or anything, just shoves it in her mouth and eats it lol. She's such a pig!

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas & New Year. I'm not on much ATM as dh is on holidays. Off to do more painting

    Hope you're all well xo

HI Ladies! I've been MIA for quite awhile. Life's been so busy with two kids I have not had any time for BB (all my internet time goes to FB). I wanted to come by though and see how everyone is doing.

Were doing well. Paige is an absolute joy. She's so smiley and giggly and it makes us so happy. She got weighed and measured the other day and we were told she was in the 90th percentile for height, weight, and head, but I find that hard to believe as she is the smallest of her peers. She's very long and lean (taking after daddy thankfully). I think she was 26inches and 16.5lbs?

We are still exclusively breastfeeding. She seemed eager to eat what we are so we tried a few spoonfuls of a few things this past week but she just gagged and spit it all out again so it seems she's not quite ready yet. She got her first two teeth this week-end too which meant some pretty fussy nights, but she's now back to a happy contented little girl.

She was sleeping really well (12 hours without waking) but we're waking up every 1-2 hours right now and I'm feeling very sleep deprived. She's lucky she's so cute, I can forgive her for anything.

Her brother adores her and is a huge help, we're feeling really blessed.

I'm going to try to pop by more often as I would love to read how everyone is getting on (I'll have to find the last thread to catch up a bit). Hope everone is doing well!

I started lexie on solids on Saturday morning, so far she seems to enjoy it.

I've been watching the news on the floods all morning, very, very sad.

Hi, I am new to this thread. Just thought I'd stop in and say hi. My DD, Amelia, was born 26th July 2010. Thought it might be nice to chat to other mums who have bubs the same age, maybe make some new friends? =)

First thing I would like to say is... where's the 'pause' button? She's growing up so fast! My little baby isn't so little anymore. She's becoming miss independent already at only 6 1/2mths - wanting to feed herself (sometimes), holding her bottle (for Daddy only, not for mum!), saying 'Dad dad', sitting up by herself, reaching for things and even screaming when she doesn't get what she wants (huh oh).
