'mar & Poopie: i had to ask DH how i got to knox im happy to go where ever is easiest for every one. if any one wants a house baby-proofed DJ will assist! haha.

'elf: wow you sound like you're going well. i was talking to my cousin yesterday and i can understand better. she's in F cups now - she had twins and is b/fing and said finding matenity bra's/clothes that fit is real hard. your lump sounds well loved toboot

Belle: you need some one to talk to i can PM you my mobile number. i think i went through PND with DJ and all his issues but never sort out help for it - i was too proud. so good on you for getting help I'm glad P is putting on weight - slow and stedy. it could also "just be him" DJ is a skinny little man - as in he eats what I eat, but can still get into 00 sized pants around his waist! have you gone for a walk? that can help get the endorfines going

AFM: been good here. Vic met his cousins (mmmk i admit second cousins...) for the first time. and MY GOD he is huge. my cousin had twins three weeks after i birthed vic - their combined birth weight was half of vic. i saw it yesterday thats for sure! but they're soo utterly cute. i'm feeling a little tender ATM though as yesterday - at my nans 90th arvo tea (thoes on FB would know about this) we thought we'd lost her. but she seems ok now. just a big 'old scare really. the ambo bloke though thought Vic was 6 months old. oh well.
tomorrow will be a busy day - i have DH at work all day (8am - 10pm two dif. jobs) so i get to take our cat plus the two boys to the vets. then im seeing my nan (its her actual birthday tomorrow) then home again which will be full on. mainly seeing as Muss is 8.8kg LOL. (or more depending on his weigh in tomorrow lol) but worth it. then DH works most of wednesday and same again thursday and maybe friday. as my cousins wife had an OP today, so will be recovering. and i may end up with my cousins kids (10 and 12) on friday night too. which will be fun!
    oo gotta go boobies needed!

    Thanks Dan!!
Yeah P is a skinny minny.. it's funny though cos everyone comments on how skinny his legs are, but to us they are getting chubby - he has finally started to fill out all his skin rolls
Sounds like you have a busy day ahead of you tomorrow... have fun!! and I hope your nan is feeling better

belle- i hope things improve, u've had a lot happening in the last few months!! its really good that ur getting help, thats half the battle won! but i no the feeling of bubs not chubbing up much, i no it makes me very stressed that people keep thinking mr c is only 1 month old and hes almost 13 weeks!
dan- wow u sound really busy! blah u make me tired just thinking about it! i swear ive only just recovered from my trip to WA! im glad ur nan is ok!!!!
elf- hehehe thats so cute, he already loves his big sisters! wow u and dan have porkers!!
mr c is almost too long for 000 but in every other way he could still fit in 0000 if i tried...

Thanks clare! It had been a really busy time for us which hadn't helped the situation... I had to get friends come sit with me while I was packing up house just so iw wouldn't cry the whole time lol
Well P has just done his duds.. After an 11.5hrs sleep and 20min feed

'mar: he may be skinny too. DJ had issues and never chubbed up. and trust me. he eats me outta house and home! (like looking at his breccie, its how much I'D be eating!) yet...hes a skinny man!

Belle: i wish i lived near-er to you to help you out. its not nice struggleing alone. once again i take my hat off to you, i did that and i'm not proud of it. i often think about it and feel bad for DH - seeing me crumble a few times... but you have my number if you need some one to ear bash.

looks like we wont be seeing my nan. which im ticked about. mum said "a quiet day" for nan. yep. so shes taking her to bingo and out for lunch when i suggested that i ask my cousins with the twin girls to come over and see her. clearly my idea was "too much" hmmph.
better go get dressed so i can hopefully get to the vets on time!

DD#2 was an absolute porker when she was little too - her 6 week growth spurt nearly killed me, she shot up from 0000 to 00 incredibly fast. Apparently their dad was a lump when he was small too. My first was still covered in the obligatory baby rolls, but she was much smaller and a slower grower and stayed in 000 for maybe 6 months. I don't talk to her dad's family (never have) so I can't find out what he was like as a baby.

I don't know how anyone with multiple children does it on their own. Trying to find a time when baby is asleep and toddler has just pooped so I can have a shower is borderline impossible. We both are home almost all the time, so when one of wants to do something sans children, the other one gets to herd them for a bit. The lump is lovely, its DD#2 who is the problem one. Her latest habit (besides getting right in your face and coughing/licking you/shouting from 2 inches away) is stealing the baby's dummy and running off with it, or hiding it. She even snatches it out of his mouth, which makes him cry. We're really getting the terrible 2's at the moment.

mar + dan, do you think having it at somebodys house will be easier, rather than going somewhere central? What is easier for you dan? Yours or mine? If we make it the sunday you can bring dh along if its at ours and I can make sure dh will be home and we can make them mingle in the shed Dh needs to talk to somebody thats family minded, unlike any of his party hard friends.
Is sunday a good day for both of you?

sunday is good for me and im not fussed about where, i have a GPS!! we are now heading over on sat morning instead of friday and going home tuesday arvo instead of monday arvo. DF isnt coming cos he doesnt want to take time off work again oh well his loss, he gets left to finish fixing the house (BIL and he pulled up our carpet and put down floating floors) so i am making a list of the stuff he needs to do before i get home :P

belle- 11.5hrs?!?! *turns green* we are back to getting up twice in the night the last few nights, i am hoping its just a growth spurt and he goes back to 1 feed soon.

elf- i think DS is going to be like ur 1st, hes not very chubby tho we were expecting him to be a buddha cos he is almost a clone of DF and DF was 7.3kgs by 3 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MIL weaned him then cos she was 15kgs below her pre baby weight and she was slim to start with!

woohoo mr c is 3 months old today i cant believe its been that long since he was born!! looking back i am amazed how much has happened and how DF and i have changed and how much DS has changed as well!!

Elf: aww i love your DS's name! sounds so...strong!

poopie: i'll talk to DH and see if he wants to come! i hope he wouldn't freak out your DH as mine is almost 32 the old man he is! but sounds like plan edge ways! ...and if your IL's rock up i'll get my boobie out - if they want to comment i'll ask why they're sexualy harassing me - as i feel that when my boobs are looked at

Mar: LOL at the list. some times they need it though! im sure Mr C will chub up. i know DJ is putting on weight now - that he's not throwing up his food! you're doing a good job of it all!

AFM: its scary how time flys! i saw a friend of mine whoes bub was born in march - vic is the same size 0_0 like hight wise any way. but her poor bubba has reflux like DJ did (who says nomnomnom too lol). Vic has worked out how to roll from tummy to back as of today! he did it three times thismorning then shot cruddy when he couldn't back onto his belly. but he's been good other wise. well i think he may have teeth moving around in his gum (already!?!??!?!?) as he's becomeing more dribble like. but oh well. Ohh and i may be starting to use MCN. lol. i bought three (mmk cruddy ones) from Bigw. as DH had always been iffy with them. but now he understands that they're good and we'll save $$ in the long run. but i have fond some for $10 ea - not sure how good they are but hey, its a start! i am how ever checking out Maz's store and some of the stuff other WAHM's do (i'm hoping they all use pay-pal lol) but i know i'll feel better if vic and DJ are in coth - we'd planned to but a) $$ was tight before DJ's birth and b) he was soo friggin' skinny with little legs (like his mumma) that they just didn't work ( well the terry sqears any way!) so hopefully i'll be able to get some more, it'll be more work. but whats an extra load of washing each day. plus DH is thinking about getting a 'day job' as such as the work with my cousins isnt bringing in enough $$ to keep us aflote (as such) for a prolonged time. so if he got that it'd help. plus -strangely - i think id do better with out him home - cus when he is home all i want to do is spend time with him (which isn't a bad thing) but we'll wait and see.
now i better go and see if DJ wants his yogart!

Dan, lol!! I told dh what you said about the mil and he cracked up laughing! Nappies, I hate to say it but the cheap ones from china have worked really well, they were only like $6 each. I can give you one and you can see if they work for you! I do have lots to spare! Haha.

'mar LOL. i've started looking and buying...yay for the baby bonus LOL!

Poopie: hehe glad your DH got a giggle! i bought three from bigW today - fitted terry towling for around the $6 mark. but i have ordered (one each) from Daddle Doo Nappies - as a) its a BB girls store and b) 35% off making each one under $20 is nice plus a free bonds singlet helps. plus another 6 (three each) from hippybottoms dot com dot au as they where $10 a nappy and its a good start (let the stalking the post man start LOL) plus vic and DJ (at this point) can both fit into the same nappy. DJ is 12.7 (ish) kg and vic is 7.2(ish) kg. i did a weigh me, then weigh me with them to come to that...which is kinda scary! but i'll be buying some more odds and ends i think. seeing as im trying to get both boys into cloth (lol!) it'll be fun and games buying how ever meany i need!

Hi ladies! Sorry to barge in on your thread but I've been lurking because I am in the Babies born June 1 - 15th thread before this one Anyway Poopie.......can you please tell me more about the china nappies? I am also so in love with MCN's.

Sounds like everyone's bubs are doing so wonderfully well. Congratulations to you all.

lol, they are the rainbow pocket ones, I don't want to talk them up because of course they aren't as good as the ones made by our fellow bb members. BUT they do the job. They only come with one booster, but I bought a bulk lot of boosters and I use two per nappy and we have not had any leaks. We can use 3 boosters and it almost gets us through the night. Dh calls them' marshmallow nappies' because they make Harlee's bum feel like a..marshmallow.

Dan, I have bought one daddledoo nappy, but it does not fit Harlee yet so still wondering if they work so I can buy more. Or nappy bookshelf is such a mess at the moment. There are too many nappies to fit in there so I have to slow down my washing routine. And washing nappies is so much fun, they look so cute on the line

poopie: with sunday - DH will drop me and Vic off and have some daddy- Dj time. (plus he wants me to get out on my 'own' as such too) but maybe the next meet up ('mar make your DF read this LOL) we can have the man-childs come too!

AFM: vic must be haing another growth spert while yes, im happy he's growing and all...im a weee bit like "NOOO SLOW DOWN CHILD" as he's in 00's already. and when in the MCN (the crappola ones we have lol) his bum is HUGE! i'll have to get a photo of both boys in them and post them on FB lol. but Vic is rolling from tummy to back now. then gets all cranky nappy on us when he cant get back the poor thing. but its veery cute. i cant wait to get my fluffy mail. DH went to the IL's with DJ after a 3am start for us (thanks to a) a cold and b) going to sleep at 9pm) and got home just as the postie rode past lol. but you girls might know this - is it the 'normal' postie or the curier ones? cus i think that girls going to think im addicted to online shopping LOL - seeing as in the last month she's been here twice already! its a little scary that our bubbas are comming up to 3 months. they've been 'alive' for 12 (lol, ya know the whole conseption thing ) time flys.
i talked to DH today too about how i'm feeling about myself. which TBH is rather flat. i told him that i'm feeling depressed. 'cus today laying on the floor with vic it clicked. i'm becomming my mother. she was always a 'bigger' women. and thus never really got down and dirty playing with me or my sister. something i dont want for my boys. shes now also on meds for diabetes and my dad is in insulen for it also (plus my 90 year old nan has it too, but thats due to age not weight) and im worried i'll end up like that. its also not helping that i look at myself and see flab. i did a BMI thingy today. and it was 31 mind you BMI's arent the be all and end all. i knew a girl who was on a state aths team and BMI said she was morbidly obese. but i still would like to get down from the 93kg i currently am. so i told DH i want to lose 10kg+ by christmas. if not more. so now im going to do a weekly shop (and 'eat out the freezer' of all the meat we have) and buy things like carrot and corn thins (with avo on them) to snack on of a night - as DH and I eat dinner at 4:30-5pm due to his work. and cut out 90% of the soft drink (saterday is exempt due to that be our "chill out" day) i'm even going to see if i can find a celiory counter for my *new* mobile, becuase my kids deserve a healthy mumma and one who'll want to go out the back and smoosh in puddles and all that. not like mine.
now i better go and feed DJ before he tries (again) to climb onto the dineing room chair...and this kid can't even walk yet!

marshmallow butt lol!!! i find the cheapie ebay ones are a bit big on the legs for mr c, but hes got chicken legs.... when they fit around the legs (we r not far off ) they will be perfect for over night, having so much space to stuff extra absorbancy since i am OVER using fitteds they gross me out.
i have a daddledoo nappy but it doesnt fit yet
    poopie-
my bank account has pretty much cured my online shopping lol!! when i was still working it was...a serious issue shall we say.... to the point where we had an extra couch cos it was cheap and really nice....
man-childs lol!! we will be over after xmas when DF is on holidays. if we catch up then he will not be able to escape *mwahahaha*

awe dan, dont stress too much about it, uve carried, birthed and fed 2 babies in such a short amount of time, of course ur body is going to be a bit different and if u eat healthy and are active with ur boys, the rest will follow and being happy, healthy and active (almong with the boys) is the most u can ask for.... ok im going to rant i'll pm u :P

I'm bummed I can't make next weekend... but if Clare is planning on going back over after Christmas then I'm definately going to come down! I'll bring DH as well and Poopie that will give your DH another family minded guy to talk to!

Dan - try not to stress too much... I too feel like I'm turning into my mother at times, but more in mannerisms and characteristics and it scared the living ***** out of me Also I think you need to stop feeding Vic, he's growing soo fast!

Clare - I have the same problem with P with nappies, the legs are too big for him as he has chicken legs... makes for interesting nappy changes sometimes if you don't get the nappy quite right IYKWIM

AFM - quick rant - I feel really flat and bleh.... Does that even make sense?? LOL. Got my appointment with First Steps Parenting with a social worker on the 14/10 so hopefully all goes well. The clinic nurse thinks it will also be beneficial for me to see a psychologist in addition to try and overcome the underlying issues (although I thought they had been dealt with but obviously not) but she did say that having bub has caused them to resurface and there probably wasn't a lot I could have done to stop it, maybe just lessen the impact ITMS.
I just feel selfish for getting PND when I have a 3month old that sleeps through the night, can self-settle, feeds and is a happy content alert baby. I am comfortable talking to certain people about it, but there are others that I feel would judge me and point out that I have a perfect baby so why am I depressed... Everyone comments how good he is and that I'm lucky because it must be easy, and I feel like I have to smile and agree when on the inside I'm crying.
Anyway, enough from me... he's been asleep since 4.30pm so I think it will be an interesting night as he usually goes to bed at 7pm... I may be posting again at random hours...
