Happy Sunday!
DH didn't get home til 3:30am so guess who has had to get up with L this morning.
Omg he did the stinkiest nastiest poop today. It was dark green and huge (the colour of his spinach broccoli and pea purée he had for dinner last night).
Anyway, love that I am still lying in bed typing this post from my iPhone!!
Today L and I are visiting a friend I've known since 1992 who had a baby boy 3 weeks after L. She lives in Adelaide but has come up to Sydney for the week. So glad she could squeeze me in for a visit.
Have a lovely day whatever you are doing xx

Hi Erica.. to get an avy you need to upgrade your membership! not sure what the prices are, but i just got a 35 year membership or something when they were doing a sale last year sometime :D I've been using tapatalk for a few months now, its great! Although I have one of the samsung galaxys. We got a jolly jumper last week off a friend and Harlee just loves it! She'll only do maybe 10 mins at a time but she just has so much fun and makes heaps of cute noises!
Anybody thinking about doing BLS? I've been doing a bit of research about it and it looks interesting, I think there is a thread on here about it too so I'm going to have a read over it. Although I know a certain relative of dh's will protest over it. I'm not talking to her at the moment. So sick of the lack of respect.

Happy Monday girls!
Hard to believe that tomorrow my little boy will be 5 months old!!! Our babies are growing up so fast!
L is loving solids and I'm really enjoying finding new combinations of foods to try. Last night he had pureed zucchini and carrot and he LOVED it! I made it myself so i know that its fresh and healthy! He's now on about half a cup at each 'meal' but his milk feeds are still his main source of nutrition.
Now established mix feeds and am supplementing his daytime feeds with a bottle. Sometimes it's EBM and sometimes formula. The first and last feed is breast milk straight from the tap! My boobies have finally gotten the hint and I'm definitely not producing as much anymore. Part of me is sad that I'm not EBF anymore but I know that for my lifestyle with me going back to work it's working the best.
Tali- what is BLS? What does it stand for? I'm gonna look at upgrading my membership. Is it worth it for you?? Money isn't as tight anymore now that I'm working so if it's leas than $50 for the year I might get it.
Anyone else got a bumbo? We got one on Saturday and it's the best invention! L loves sitting up straight and he has the biggest smiles! I've posted pics up on FB :)
Ok, better go and make DH's lunch before he goes to work for the day.
Love Me x

Not much to report here ... I've been working on my biggest website and kind of dropped off the face of the internet for a few weeks. It earns me 20c a day tops despite all the work that has gone into it unfortunately :(
Lump is just being a generic growing wriggling baby. Loves tummy time among big sister's toys and is getting really good at grabbing things (noses, hair, remote controls, coffee cups). We've decided he's basically the same as big sister but with smiles instead of grumps - he barely sleeps 8 hours a night and not a lot during the day too, same as her.
He has no interest in food so solids aren't on the radar yet. He's getting harder to feed though. Little big sister likes to get in his face and distract him, and big big sister likes to stand behind me to talk to her and is accidentally distracting. Grrr.
-
Ah elf.. Harlee grabbed my nose a good one yesterday, I was getting used to it and it always hurts.. but yesturday when dh came home I had blood all over my face! really should cut those nails of hers!

Hi Mummies,
Currently supposed to be listening on a teleconference, but it's so BORING!
Off to melbourne tomorrow for work, sorry Dani/Tali no time for a visit. I'm back again on the Tuesday too but it's just an in and out day trip... so busy at work!
I am looking forward to christmas. We got L an elf costume for christmas. We're going to get santa photos done and I want him to wear it. he is going to look SUPER cute.
OK better go and listen to this TC.
Love Me xx

good morning mummas!
i have a few spare moments (DJ is watching ABC news LOL and Vic is alseep!)
Been crazy here. packing boxes and all that. even though we have 116 days until we move, im trying to 'declutter' the house. and my LORD do we have some clutter! but thanks to DH not being so bright we have a full normal waste bin  but i will still keep going. i'm even going to clean out under the bed. where alot of wedding pressies where put - but we couldn't use/had no place to store them the upside of my sister moving out - her room is empty so we can store stuff in there!
Vic is almost rolling from his back onto his tummy, he just needs to work out to pick his head up and he'll be able to do it.
oo better go, hope every one has a good thursday!
-
Picking eh.. That's a horrible job, I've done it way too many times! Good luck!
Harlee has figured out how to rip tours off the jungle gym to put in her mouth. Very clever. We went to a craft day yesterday with 70 odd ladies and Harlee got passed around so much, and everybody that held her got lots of cuddles and big smiles, we ee amazed that she did not cry even once.. Although she did manageto do a big explosion poo right in the middle of speaches.
Sleep during the day doesn't happen too much any more. Well be lucky if Harlee gets an hour all day. And that only happens when she's on the boob. But I'm trying not to let it stress me out as she's still happy most of the time.
Although we still haven't got harlee to take the bottle, I'm now trying took express once a day incase there is an emergency. I'm sure she will take it someone else does it and she's really hungry. I have a few meetings with lawyers coming up about my car and mum is just planning to wait outside with Harlee for me, but if she could take the bottle it would be much easier if we have to go to court. So I'm expressing in hope that she will take it.
My house is a pig sty. I don't even make the bed anymore. Just cannot be stuffed.
-
tali: as long as she's happy. Dj didn't day sleep untill 10 or 11 months! vic on the other hand has *one* day sleep of about 2 maybe 3 hours - depending on the length of DJ's sleep. hope all goes well with the lawyers, i was talking to DH about and he said if you need to replace the passenger door - there is a pick a part (i think it is?) kinda near you (i'll ask him where it is lol) and they should have a door there.
gah, off to pack more stuff. dad dropped off more boxes and a friend of mine will be over the comming weeks too!
-
What a week! I have been so freaking busy with work. Down in Melbourne 3 times in one week! So tired too.
How is everyone? Gearing up for Christmas?
L's christening is on 12th December and then we fly to NZ on 18th for Christmas! So excited.
DH's dad is coming to stay with us for 5 days during the Christening so L will be sleeping in his port a cot in our room and FIL will have L's room as there is a single futon bed in there. Also means we'll have to do all the changing of nappies during the night (not that there are many) on our bed cos the change table is in L's room.
Anyone else's LO started solids yet?? Be excited to hear your stories! My Boobs have gotten used to the mixed feeding now and I'm only feeding morning and late night. I think I'll make it to 6months with BFing but then wean him off completely so that he's just on formula and solids. I'm ok with that. Was feeling guilty that I was putting my needs (ie working) before doing what is best for L (ie breastfeeding) but I'm at peace with my decision and DH supports me as well.
Ok, better go. Hope you are all well

erica: yay for changing on the bed. jsut have a towl handy for any... "escapeage" its happend to me before
as for us: been nuts. packing, cleaning. packing more. the house looks good (i can PM a link to the forsale add if you wanna see :p ) now we're just battleing the banks thanks to their piddle poor logic. Vic is now rolling back to front and front to back. and manageing to move around in a cercal.
Oo BBL vics awake.
-
Sooo I'm writing this post from the plane. Looks like the pilot can't park and so we have to get towed out so he can repark! Too funny
In Melbourne again today. Just a day trip today. Was up at 4:30am so I'm really tired.
Dansta- I think I have a lazy boy as L still isn't quite rolling over. Although hr is twisting his body to the side so it's happening but not quite there yet
I think L might be starting to teeth. He's rubbing and pulling on his ears and his gummies look a bit red. He's also not his smiley self and a bit more whingey. Hope it doesn't last too long cos we're off on holidays in a couple of weeks! But I think it might :(
Anyone else's babies teething or got any teeth yet??
Have a good day mama's!!

Heya Lovely Ladies
Erica - you are one busy mumma!! I'm struggling to get out of bed at the moment (sick and migraines)
Dani - yay for moving, but poo!! I hated having to move
Tali - goodluck with the insurance, and don't worry about the house being a sty... it's lived in!
Elf - bummer about the website not paying off for all the work you have put into it
Clare - how's Mr C? How much does he weigh, only ask cos I think he would be the closest in size to P. Did you find a new pram you like?
Well Mr P got weighed the other week and came in at 5.5kg, putting on 500g in 4days. I think he had been sick beforehand as he'd been pooing every nappy, cough, more vomit than normal. We have started solids slowly on the recommendation of the MCHN as he is below the curve for weight (even the WHO guidelines). We could have got a referral for a pead but because he is happy in every other aspect, and developing, there doesn't seem to be much reason for it. So far he's had carrot sticks (cooked of course), smashed potato with booby milk and weetbix with booby milk. He's also had some booby milk in a sippy cup but he has trouble tipping it up far enough to get any out. All up I think he eats about 1/4 teaspoon, and that's pretty much only the weetbix cos I feed him that. I'll put some pics up on FB when I get around to it.
He cut his first tooth on Monday and the second doesn't seem to be far away. Luckily it hasn't been of much issue to him, and has been his usual happy self the whole time :) He is starting to pull his legs up underneath himself a lot more, but I don't think he has the arm strength to get up on all fours  but you can put him down and if he wants to move he can, will end up in a completely different direction than he started.
PND group sessions are just about finished, next week is the last. I think it has helped in the reassurance I'm not alone in feeling like this, and the mummies there are all pretty nice. P seems to have made a couple of little friends there too which is cute. One on one sessions are getting there. There are a lot of issues to work through but she is happy that I can identify soo much of what is going on as it allows us to work on overcoming them, rather than identifying them iykwim.
Anyway, enough of a rant from me, gotta go change the stinky bum
:grouphug:
-
phew well i typed a novel last night but it decided it did not want to be posted!!
UA- ooh yay a tooth already! its good that he isnt too worried by them tho!! dont stress too much about the curves, growth is never linear (following the "correct" curve) and the growth charts are based on FF babies.
dani- hooray for moving!! i hate it but its good once its over :)
tali- how did the insurance go? and dont worry about the house, it doesnt change the world if the beds not made or there is dishes in the sink. hehe i can imagine all the women thought harlee was just about edible?
erica- wow u r one busy girl!! u r making me tired just reading every thing u r doing!!
WELL i will see how i go re-writing my novel...
my grandma came and stayed with us for about a week (20th-26th) which was fantastic, i dont get to see her nearly enough since she lives in grenfell, 12-14hrs drive from us or a bus then a train then a plane.... DS thought she was THE best thing since sliced bread. she somehow managed to get him to fall asleep on his play mat a couple of times, something hes only done once before when he was sick... i guess shes had plenty of experience tho, 7 kids, 13 grandkids and now 1 great grandbaby. we were both sad when she went home (DF didnt notice so much, he was working pretty much 24/7 while she was here)
mr c has decided he would like to crawl...but hasnt quite got the idea properly, he thinks it should happen with u holding his tummy up... he will go places if u hold him there (mainly trying for the dog as she walks past) lol but other than that hes rolling back to front, front to back and spinning around...and jumping, his favouraite thing atm is the jolly jumper.
we have had a growth spurt  when he was in hosp a month ago he weighed 6.1kgs nakie we weighed him last week before his bath and he now weighs 7.4kgs!!!! thats his biggest weight gain ever so we have gone from the 23rd% to the 50%.
he has started teething for real in the last fortnight/3 weeks and i think hes going to be a bad teether, u can only just see the teeth in his gums (tho u can see 5!) and hes whingy, clingy, with rashy burnt bum and funny poos/wees. the amber necklace helps heaps tho we realised, DF is home sick today (grrr thats another story) and he took the necklace off his ankle when he changed him this morning. it helps his rash on his face aswell, hes almost rash free for the 1st time since he was 2wks old and it flares up when we take the necklace off.
oh and to top it off he has decided he is ready for solids whether we like it or not, by chucking a wobbly whenever we are eating/drinking and not giving him any so he has been having rusk sticks, bits of fruit and veges and water/boobie milk out of a sippy cup with a silicone teat.
mr c is now in his own room as well :( hes been pretty good witht he adjustment, except 1 night when he had an upset tummy. hes been sleeping from about 7-7:30pm til about 8 or 9am other than feeding a few times and coming into bed with us at about 4am.
DF and i STILL havent DTD properly, it still hurts and causes spotting so i am going to get a referal to a gyno cos we have tried everything the gp has suggested.
anyway, this is starting to look more like another novel so i had better go save DS from DF, hes 1hr overdue for his nap.
raspberries for all little tummies :D
-
and im Back. and both boys are asleep!
UA:  forget the bleeding lines. mr P is happy and content. he's perfect for HIM! you watch, he'll be a bean poll child who'll eat you out of house and home and you'll still be going  where do you put it?! im glad the PND support group is helping you. and YaY Mr P has made friends. any potentnal DIL's there ;-)?
Pants: yay for grandmothers! i know my mums mum LOVES both the boys. she's a grate grandmother 8 times over now. i feel lucky my boys have that. along with 'grate, grate aunts and uncles' and aww poor Mr C and teething. i hope he is ok. i used to with DJ give him a cold face washer to chew on. but i feel for them
AFM: vic has a new obsession. bouncing. not in the jolly jumper though. you have to hold him  im going to have me some nice tonned arms come christmas! he's also 'talking' alot as well which is very cute. i think the teething is starting too - he's become Mr dribble more so i've ordered a teething necklace which should be here with in the next day or so which will be good. DJ wears his all the time. he looks so cute once he gets his curly hair back! vic is also trying to crawl - but hasn't worked out arms are needed and NO trying to launch forward useing my leg as a spring board will only end in tears.
as for the moving it'll be happening march next year. so i'll have to get onto interweb connections cus with out BB i'll go nuts  im also looking forward to the move as it'll be march so it means we can have a house warming/22nd birthday bash for me rolled into once PLUS people to watch the kids while DH and I unpack!
now i better go do some washing and put some clean stuff away. we have an inspection tomorrow!
Edit: poo bum bother! the weather has just turned and well...we have a flooded back yard. thank goodness that DH bought a pump so we wont look like we have a duck pond tomorrow!
-
Dani - How did the inspection go?! The rain today was even worse than yesturday and we now have multipul waterfalls in our backyard! I got it on video, now I have to figure out how to put video footage onto the computer with my new camera!:)
Panties - What a smartie pants mr C is! When we hold Harlees bum in the air she tries to crawl with her arms but the legs just kick all over the place. I hear u on the not dtd. we still havn't it just doesnt seem to work anymore, I tense up and it just hurts so much. I think its a little in my head, and a little bit to to with the build up of scar tissue. Hope you get things sorted
Erica - Wow.. your all over the place at the moment! So busy! Hope your enjoying it though. Great day for you to be in Melbourne with our 5 seasons in a day! (melbourne has its own season which is number 5)
UA - Good to see everything is getting sorted :) Are you enjoying giving mr P solids? I cant wait to start Harlee, not sure when that'll be though. Although she has sucked on a bit of cucumber because it was soothing for her gums and she pulled a face as if it was sour! lol. silly baby..
We have been to our lawyer and the truck driver has till wednesday to pay me or we go to court. We have also sued him legal fees already.. so the company are pretty stupid for not giving us insurance infomation. They cannot go through their insurance anymore though because we are sueing them as an induvidual. And their insurance dont have to pay anything especially legal costs for their stupidity!
My big sis is finally coming back from london next week, so she'll be meeting Harlee for the first time. Last week Harlee rolled from her back to front and front to back a few times, it was like it all just clicked for her how to roll! I think we were due to go to the health nurse this week, but MEH. I can weigh her myself. The last few nights have been day time for Harlee, she just wants to play, and during the day she has just wanted to sleep lots  so I'm trying to sleep during the day, but its so hard!
Harlee is still being very chatty, and blowing lots of raspberries.. it's hilarious! Her face gets covered in spit and so does anything else within a 3metre radius!
The mil still isn't talking to me because I told everybody what she did by saying on fb in these exact words according to her who doesnt' even have fb "The mother in law gave Harlee food - I hate her" soooo yeah.. Not sure whether she or her friend made it up to be like that. But fair enough, ONE of them has something against me. And dh spoke to little sil today and she says "where's tally..' and dh says 'busy' sil says.. 'oh she's on fb' because anything internet type is 'nerdy' according to her.. even though it's the easiest way I can communicate with both of my sisters! doesn't make her a nerd though when she watches tv EVERY flippin hour of the day when she has ANY spare moment.. and when there are visitors she goes into another room so she is not disturbed while she watches tv.
F************************************************* ************************************************** ***************************************** I hate them so much!!!!!!!!!!
ok..off to vent somewheres else..
-
Hiya Mummas!
Happy Sunday! What is everyone up to today? I'm off to get some party supplies at Aldi for L's christening afterparty next weekend. I only just discovered Aldi a couple of weeks ago... OMG why didn't someone tell me about how COOL this place is?? My DH and I LOVE it! We're also going to pick L up this cool trainset table for $70. That's his christmas present. Yesterday, we may or may not have bought him a steelcraft walker... I am so weak when it comes to buying stuff for L!
Tali - omg your inlaws sound like a nightmare! Feel free to vent here. and yeah I totally agree... internet is the way i communicate with my out of town friends and relatives. My sister too is in London and she hasn't met L... so this is the best way she can see photos of him growing up. Do your own thing honey!
Dansta - are you moving to Weribee? I drove past it on my way to Geelong the other week and I thought of you! At least you'e got a bit of time to pack. Good luck with the moving ! DH and I are realising that a 2br apartment is not going to be big enough for us anymore and we're gonna look at moving later next year. We have a mortgage though so it's a little bit more complicated for us cos we'll have to sell our place as well. But we REALLY need more room.
AngelPants - go Mr C!!! what an awesome growthspurt! he must have those nice nomnommy chunky thighs now hey? Mr L is 8kg now!!! He giggles when I nomnom his thighs.. :) I was also thinking about getting those teething rusks soon. Yay that Mr C has started solids! how exciting. Have you started him on any pureed foods? I'm terrified of giving him chunks of anything in case he bit of some and accidentally swallowed it and started choking or something. But cucumber seems like a good idea for teethings. Good luck with the DTD thing... I hope you get it sorted out soon xx
UntoldAngel - Go Mr P!!! 500g in 4 days is PHENOMENAL! Hopefully he's on the mend now. Yay that he too has started solids. Glad that your PND classes are going well. Must be nice to know that you are not alone and that you've made some friends in the process, those who know what you are going through. And YAY a tooth! Glad he didn't suffer teething too much :)
AFM - Have asked work if I can stay part time next year. I did agree to go full time, but I am loving that day off and so I've asked if I can keep to a 4 day work week. Fingers are firmly crossed. Mr L has found his screaming voice... SO CUTE...
OK I"m starving and Mr L is asleep so I'm gonna grab something before he wakes up.
Happy Sunday Mama's!
Love Me x

Tali: Bwahah your MIL is a nut job. sorry but i talked to DH about it and he litterly went :o and then some very *ahem* nice words followed. more so when i explain Harlee was Vics age! vent away here. if i ever meet your MIL and she so much as opens her mouth...i'll be shoving facts down it. kinda like she did with Harlee and the sauce :wall:
Erica: Weribee  no sweets not quite. Look up Wangaratta. its 3.4 ish hours north west of melbourne. i'll be living another 20mins or so out side of there! we too have a morgage so we applyed for bridgeing fiance so if this house fails to sell we can still move. its all fun and games trying to :juggle: it all. but we needed three larger b'rooms. as we currently have 2.5
AFM: been a relaxing weekend. caught up with the bloke who lives next door. he was worried when he saw the forsale sign out the font. Vic was talking non-stop to him! very cute. the soup i made came in handy for something too the guy next door's microwave blew up and he hasn't been able to get to the shops for food (has a really, really stuffed back) so i heated it up and sent him home with it. but his X-DP cracked it about it, but she has alotta issues. mainly surrounding boose and past drug use. but he's a good bloke. i posted a photo last night on FB of him and DH trying to burn CDs. better go. we're going to a BBQ for lunch!
