erica: gaww Mr L in his big bed. soo cute. i have a photo some place of DJ when he first went into his cot. he too looked tiney. but no so much now  it'll be a while before vic moves into a cot or alike.
AFM: it wasn't a/f just spotting. and no im not UTD lol i POAS and it was BFN. but vics going well. he's sitting in a walker atm, not walking in it. its just easyer for me to take 5mins to check BB lol. we got a double pram today, thanks 'mar for suggesting the 2nd hand baby shop. i'd forgotten about my local on! its nothing flash, but hey for $200 cant ask for that. it'll last us for a long while yet and each seat is 22 kg which is what we need. its a mothers choice one and at a guess it'd be 5yrs or so old. but is a nice brown not black - so it looks 'neater' as such.

well dan i am waiting to see if AF is visiting me or i have spotting after trying to DTD (again *sigh*) better than last time but still no real action :wall:
we went and had a picnic in the botanic gardens yesterday cos my cuz is down from the central coast for the week and Mr. C slept thru most of it but when he was awake he wanted to take all the pretty pink, purple and red flowers home with us lol we also got attacked by a bandicoot....THE most random thing ever!!! those on FB i am about to upload pics & vid.
ooh BBL hes sick of tummy time

'mar i saw the photos and thought "wtf is that giant rat" hahaha

Dammit, got my period back. Body says "hey, that was an easy pregnancy ... easy birth ... easy baby ... you want another one?" er, NO
Lump here is getting really good at batting at stuff. If you leave him alone asleep, you can tell when he's awake from the sounds of the rattles hanging over him being batted at. Its hilarious seeing him there grabbing them with this intent look on his face. Problem is now when I go to pick him up the rattles come too ...
He's been in the bouncer just watching us the last few days. I've been frantically tiling the bathroom and laundry for our house valuation today. The valuer has been now so we'll see what this house is worth ... bank is really leaving it to the last minute, the other house settles on FRIDAY. How can a big faceless organisation with 500 levels of beaurocracy manage to process a valuation in 2 days?!?!

Hi.. Sorry been a bit bleh lately.
I need to whinge.. Went to the doctor today after I had lots of pain while going to the loo and it seems I have a massive lump of scar tissue around where my tear was and theres nothing I can do about it, but just wait it out. Pretty grose but now when I do number 2's I am in tears for about half an hour after because it hurts so much, and there is so much blood now its not funny. :( I have a numbing gel thats meant to help with the pain, but I still cant really see past my big fat belly to figure out where to put it. :( And it feels like I have food poisoning.. but it wont go away, my belly is so sore all the time now :(
cmar - love the photos! I thought bandicoots were a fairytale creature? lol.. shows how smart I am!
dan - good to hear you finally got your much wanted pram! my sil wants a double pram but she only just realised how expensive they are, and she is just sooooooo anal that she refuses to buy anything second hand. I found out that the mil has been 'forcing' sil to talk to me as the little sil said so. Mil has been telling prego sil that it would be 'nice' if sil included me. So her txting me all the time wasnt really genuine. And her 'baby belly' well.. grrrrrrrrr to her! It's barely even a beer gut and shes almost 20 weeks! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
-
Elf: aww about a.f im dreading mine comming back. 'cus if its like after dj my cluckyness is raised to an extream level and i go all "BABY NOW NOW NOW NOW" when i'm O'ing lol. as for banks well they're cruddy. a friend of mine (skybie) has had the same issue with her bank today (well the buyer of her house any way!) banks it seems are a law unto them selfs (the best discription i've seen was a car sticker "which bank? they're all B@$tards")
poopie  maybe see another gp. that kinda pain aint good at all they should ba able todo more! as for you SIL, she'll learn. as for bearly a beer gut - you never know. she might put on 30kg and not lose it? i know my SIL had a bump when we saw them fathers day - and she was already holding fluid (insert evil grin here) at 18 weeks. mind you every one is different. at 20wks with DJ people thought i was having twins. at 40wks with vic people thought i was going to explode  as for seeing your vejayjay have you tired useing a mirror? thats the only way i see mine *at all* now. i know my tare took a while to heal up - and i have a 'poket' kinda thing where it is (gross i know) but until maybe 4 or 5 weeks ago doing #2's was a little...uncomfterable for me. have you tried adding more fibier to your food? (like medimusal?) to see if it helps at all?
AFM: vic is going well, he's asleep while DJ crawls around and i sit down for more then 10mins! been busy today went on two walks with the boys - one thismoring to get some stuff for dinner and one after dinner to enjoy the weather as it seems it's turning *again* this weekend  but hopefully this will help me shift some baby weight. i'd like to be a little slimmer come christmas time. its the first in two years i am not carrying a baby human! in other (unrelated news) my sister comes home from the USA on tuesday, and my mother is having an OP done on her pelvic floor on monday 0_o which i wasn't ment to know about but my cousin told me. how she was planning on hideing it i dont know. she cant lift anything for 6 weeks, and i mean ANY thing! she'll need help thats for sure.
oo better go Vic is awake!

Dan - yep, Im even taking fibre supplements, doctor said it looked as though I had hemmoroids too, but they are gone now. Dh was a bit upset with the outcome, he was also trying to get me to go to the doctor about it because I would be in tears lying on the bed and thats how he'd know I'd just been to the loo. He took wednesday off just so he could come with me to the doctors, so he could hold harlee while I was there too. This weather is great for walking! Although today it's even just a bit TOO hot for a walk! I think it needs to be 19-24 degrees with a slight breeze. lol.
Harlee seems to be super smart, dh and I were afraid of this happening because we are both high school drop outs.. So we have this play mat and Harlee is just laying on there this morning having a chat to the frog that dangles in her face. Then suddenly I hear this music and Im wondering what toy has been set off.. but the frog was making noise! I've checked it out and when you pull its legs, off goes the music! I thought it was a music free play mat too.. lol!! And shes done it 4 times again today (I'm thinking maybe she got just that little bit stronger overnight!) We have these toy keys in the car too.. she picks out a key and holds it with both hands, sucks it and stares at it while we are driving.. when she is ready for a sleep, she puts her hand through the keyring and sleeps with it around her wrist. So when I go to get her out, I have to take them off somehow and they make a big rattle and always wake her up, and she smiles at me sorta saying 'Im not staying asleep!'
We even got a lady at the coffee shop on wednesday telling us how intelligent Harlee is because she was trying to put her hands in our milkshakes and she was intently watching us drink. Harlee then looked like she was reading the ladies paper! She was moving her head side to side like she knew how to read. The lady did not beleive she was so young because she was so smart :)
But I already knew how smart she is :)
Today I realised why she never sleeps during the day. At night time we wrap her and she goes to bed awake and she will fall asleep without a sound. During the day she was cat napping and as soon as she would get to the light stage of sleep, she would wake up. So today I wrapped her when she went to sleep, and she stayed asleep for 2 hours! It seems as though she is moving into an morning and afternoon sleep, although sometimes she will sleep between 6-7 while daddy is giving her cuddles and I am making dinner!
At night she will wake at least once, and at most 3 times. But I dont mind :) If she wakes after 4, she gets to come into bed with me, and I love it :) I am getting plenty of sleep, even if it is broken. Mil seems to think all babies should be sleeping 'through' as in 12 hours straight, by 3 months. She has been hassleing me about it, telling me to just ignore the cries at night. But I know the difference between a hunger cry and a comfort cry! And Harlee only wakes because she is hungry! Im not going to starve the poor little thing! Thank goodness mil cant baby sit her due to her milk less boobs :)
Better go!
Sorry its long

poopie: glad ur seeing the doc about it, r u seeing a gp or gyno? if ur still having issues and they arent doing much about it, it might be worth going and seeing a gyno. u shouldnt have to put up with that much pain. pfft dont listen to ur MIL, just go onto the article bit of BB and theres one on how bad controlled crying is for the emotional development of babies.
elf: hehehe we are having that issue of things coming with us when we try and pick up Mr C or put him down. the worst one was when he had hold of my necklace and i was trying to put him into the bassinet cos he was asleep!!! i had to find the catch in my necklace and undo it to escape! ive been meaning to ask, where did u have theo? ur near pt lincoln right?
:hello: everyone else!!
 it wasnt AF, BUT that means it was just spotting from trying to DTD :wall: very annoying since its meant to be all fine and healed now and doesnt hurt except when we try DTD so i think its just a matter of time and taking it slow :(
as for looking massive when pg, i thankfully didnt put on too much body weight (thanks to being sick 24/7 for 9.5 months *shakes fist at mr c*) but i did look freaking ridiculas cos i looked like i had a MASSIVE basketball or watermelon under my shirt but still smallish boobies and legs but a bum that just about equaled my tummy!!
anyway id better go bring this washing in before the rain comes
xxxxoooo
-
poopie: its hot, but i'm still going to take the boys for a walk - it gets me out and i feel better. esp. tonight where DH is gone from 5pm-12am, i need that fresh air to deal with it! i agree with 'mar about seeing a obgyn/gyno they'd be more...specialised in lady bits! and wow! harlee is a smarty MCN pants ;) as for being high school drop outs pfft! i finished high school and promptly left an chefs apprenticeship and started work at safe way while at tafe, then got engaged and knocked up with DJ, finishing school aint the be all and end all. as long as you're happy who cares! my late uncle never finished school and was the top deasle mechanic in the state before his passing.
'mar: aww :( thats hard. i had spotting after dtd too.

Hiya Mummies!
This board has been a bit quiet over the last few days. Must be busy caring for our LOs!
Sorry I haven't been on much. ... now that I'm back at work the last thing I want to be doing is looking at a computer once I've finished. I'm more active on FB as you all know aanyway! :P
Well I'm in my 3rd week of work and it is going amazingly! I am able to see L to BF whenever I want, except it's been a bit hard cos I've had alot of training sessions on to get myself up to speed so have had to give the daycare frozen BM for L to drink when I can't come and see him. I'm also travelling for work too, was up at gold coast last tuesday and at Royal Adelaide Hospital on Friday this week and the Alfred in melbourne next Thursday! Sorry I can't see any of you while I'm there. They are just day trips. I'm hoping to do some over night ones as well maybe starting next year (don't want to do o/night ones just yet with L being so small - don't think I could leave him for that long anyway!!)... but once he's a bit older I'm sure I'll be dying to get away and stay at a hotel eat room service food and have a decent nights sleep while daddy gets up for the 2am feeds and changes all of L's dirty nappies! *lol*
L caught the flu from Kindy and needless to say, DH and I caught it too. L wasn't too bad, except that he got the sniffles, was quite phlegmy and his poos are quite runny, watery now.. which is very unlike him because he was going from once a week toothpaste consistency to 5 times a day watery diarrhoea... I spoke to the doctor about it and he thinks it's just L's tummy settling back down again after getting the flu. L had his 4 months vaccinations today and he didn't like them one little bit. Poor little monkey cried his little eyes out and didn't want any boobie!... I knew something was wrong because he ALWAYS wants boobie. He's been sleeping on and off most of the afternoon, but he wanted to be cuddled the whole time so I was pinned to the couch. Thank god DH came home so he could take L and I could get up and PEE!!! *lol*
I'm thinking about mix feeding L with formula and breast milk just to take some of the pressure off me now that I'm back at work. I'll exclusively BF when I am at home (which is 4 days a weeK), but I am thinking I'll provide a couple of bottles of formula for when L is at daycare (once my frozen BM is used up of course!)... I don't know about the rest of your bubbas but L is getting hungrier and hungrier... I'm nursing him every 2-3 hours at the moment during the day... but he's gone back to waking at least once during the night cos he's getting so hungry. Definitely going to try and put of starting solids for another month or so... but am thinking of mix feeding just so that his little belly is full.. also, DH stresses out when there is no milk available in the fridge. I have a heap of frozen milk but it takes time to thaw out and DH doesn't like to wait for the milk to warm up especially when L is screaming cos he's so hungry.
ok, long post over... sorry for the rant.
Hope you are all well. Can't believe our little babies are 4 months old now!!! OMG they're nearly half a year old... this time last year I had just POAS and got a BFP and now look. YAY!
Love to all,
Erica xx

Hey
Erica - Mr P is feeding every 2hours through the day, then sleeps 11hours at night. I think they make up for what they aren't getting at night, and he could be going through a growth spurt as well. You're doing amazing to be back at work. I don't think I could do it, although in saying that I do enjoy my days when I know P is being cared for by someone else and I can have a break (and then I feel guilty :()
How is everyone's littlies going? P is about 5.5kg give or take, I'm going to get him weighed/measured on Wednesday or Thursday I think when I'm in town. Eating and sleeping like a trooper. Farting like a grown man, they make you want to vomit sometimes!! He's favourite game at the moment is hide and seek under his bib. He also likes to read his books, play with lion, and chew/slobber on anything he can get near his mouth. He has two bottom teeth showing under the gum so I'm betting within a week we'll have our first cut.
I have PND support group on Wednesday, and counselling with a social worker on Thursday. I've been really struggling lately, depressed and anxiety attacks, and I drove for two hours the other day before having a meltdown and turning around to come back home.
Anyway hope everyone is well xx

erica: gaww poor Mr L. that first cold is alway sucky :( but hopefully he'll get better soon. as for the feeding sounds like the 4 month growth spert! Vic will be heading for that soon too. it will slow down some after it. as for mix feeding = more sleep. not always. DJ on EBM and FF was the same. 3.5hrs between feeds and 3hrs with a growth spert! it just depends on each bubba. kinda like us older bubbas
Belle:  sweetie. you have my number you have a panic attack and i can text talk with you, i used to have them before kids (so kinda differant) but i can try and help you though them. you're a wonderful mamma and a wonderful women. you have the strength and you know it. i used to find (forgive me im slightly pagan) that sitting in a cercal of white (lit) candles with the vision of breathing in the white light and breating out the darkness, and allowing my skin to soak it up helped sometimes. my mantra at the time was "within this light is no darkness but from the darkness shines the light" kinda nutty i know but it helped me at the time. if you need some one please reach out - i may not be *right there* but my offer is
AFM: been a slightly crazy weekend. saterday my folks came round to see Vic and DJ before mum had an op on her pelvic floor. which was nice so did my IL's which was also nice, not often they get to catch up. then saterday night i went to a friends party with out DH or the boys. which was odd. the first time since...umm..3 years ago i've been out on my own! sunday was a relaxing day. sunday night = bad bad bad as you girls i have on FB would know (if not...yeah... :-/ ) eather way its left a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to a serton family member and left me shaken and steired! other then that. vic has got a good giggle up now, and being more "cute like" as DH put it.
now im off to bed before we start a long day tomorrow!

cmarfol - I'm in Jamestown, nearish Pt Pirie. Gorgeous place, I can (and do) recommend it to anyone :)
Lump here is 7kg and 64cm, officially double his birthweight. Grabbing EVERYTHING. We've taken to leaving him on the floor on his front with rattles to chase. Right now he's on my lap grabbing my fingers, which makes it really hard to type (and worse when DD#2 comes along as well and reads all the letters off my keyboard, poking them as she reads). He still wakes me up every 2 hours at night to feed though.
DD#2 has taken over the world with drawing. There are people drawn everywhere. Chalk people on every surface outside, drawn on all our junk mail inside, drawn on the empty nappy boxes, the loungeroom wall (NOT HAPPY) and when she has dinner she draws people in her tomato sauce. Pretty fast change from drawing nothing at all to drawing very recognisable things. She draws us, big sister, her, baby, grandma and grandpa (my parents), which really goes to show we don't visit my partner's family nearly enough.
They grow up so fast!
-
Dan - BIG HUGS!:hug: Just saw what happened, thats terrible! Good to see they have been locked up, hope they stay in there for a LOOOONG time. As for your language.. well I think its pretty tame for what happened! Your cousins should mind her own business I reakon! What a cutey vic is having some giggles! I must say, I think he was already pretty darn cute, I didnt think he could get much cuter! :D
Belle - Ahhh!! you changed your name too! Poor Mr P, getting some teeth in, hope they arent too painful for him, Hope your okay.
Erica - How are you going with the 12wbt? How amazing is it that our 'embryo's' are over a year old now, lol, still so young though.
Rump - What an artistic girl you have, I remember being a drawer when I was about 6, I carved my name into my wooden bedhead, and also into my parents wooden dining table with a knife.. it was quite big too. :) I've always been told I'm 'creative' too!
We went to the health nurse yesturday.. Im thinking about not going back. Harlee is 6.2kg and 61cm. Nurse said "Now you should be starting Harlee on solids now, before 6 months, and I want to see you back at the start of december once she's started"
pffft. Now I'm not setting a date, or a time to start the solids, I would however like to hold off introducing them for as long as we can. Harlee still wont even take a bottle, so how on earth would she want other food? grrr.. I just said 'yep, see you then' I tell her what she wants to hear.:D I'm so grateful that my mum is on my side with this too.. mil however thinks we should have started solids already.. even though Harlee is clearly a good size, putting on weight at a great weight etc..
This weekend Harlee has had a few moments where she just screams for about 3 hours, wont feed, wont sleep.. just screams like somebody is pinching her :( its horrible. I have no idea why she has been doing this, she is very slobbery and has been waking up with the occasional red cheek so I've put her amber necklace on in case its the teeth, it looks cute anyway :)
Today my house is very clean.. my mum came over yestuday and we took shifts cleaning, all day! It was great fun, we even got 4 loads of washing done. (the excitment of a housewife )
Mil had an asthma attack on thursday, we find out friday night because fil soesnt think to tell anyone, turns out she has emphasema & phnamonia (sp?) so she's really sick, but she discharged herself from hospital on sunday night because she was 'bored' (stupid idiot Id say) fil encouraged her because he hasnt eaten anything but takeaway while shes been in hospital, and the house is messy and its bothering him. He doesnt know what to do, watching the tv doesnt clean the house for him like it usually does. Saterday night the bil had a house warming party, fil told little sil to stay home and clean so he could go get some food at the house warming.. which mil was meant to bring but bil did not know that mil was in hospital so there was no food!! haha. stupid people.
-
Blah just a quick one, today is our 1st day home (for any of u that missed my vent Mr c got an infected gland in his bottom that turned into am absus and needed minor surgery and a couple of days in hosp) and he's still a bit outa sorts and to make matters worse I think some teeth that have bee n threatening are getting closer :wall: I'm off to buy some amber now... will hopefully bbl for some personals xxx

Oh no! Poor little mr c!!! Hope he's going ok :( He must be getting sick of the hospital by now!?
-
cmar - hope Mr C is OK!! I had no idea. Big smooshy kisses I hope his little botty heals well.
Belle - So good that you are going to a PND support group. I'm proud of you! I hope that this passes and things get back to normal but at least you have recognised that for now things are not normal and you're doing something about it. So proud of you xx HOW EXCITING that mr P has teeth coming through!
Tali - tell that nurse to go shove her timelines where the sun don't shine!
Elf - still waking up every 2 hours? what is with that? I'd be certifiable if L was still waking up that often!
hi Dani *mwah*
Well my Mr L has found his voice and he is talking away now... it is SO CUTE! My DH loves it! I'm listening to him right now. I think he might be telling me to get off the computer and come and play with him!! hehe He loves to "scream" and we've got video of him talking away in his crib when he doesn't think anyone else is watching.
Had a day trip to adelaide yesterday and OMG i didn't bring my pump... my boobies were SO HUGE and leaking and so SORE... I thought I was going to explode! I hadn't nursed L since 5:30 that morning and it was 9pm before I managed to pump!! AGONY! I asked DH to bring my pump with him when he came to pick me up and I pumped in the car. Managed to get 300mL out and made up two bottles for freezing when I got home. I'm going to melbourne for the day next thursday and I'm terrified the same thing is going to happen, so I'm thinking I might bring my pump and pump at the airport (if I have time) before I get on the plane to go home. I'm just not sure if there is a parents room there... you would think there would have to be right?
Work is going great! I'm loving being back to it, and my initial anxiety of having L in day care have subsided now that I've been there for a few weeks.
I'm still undecided on whether or not I should start looking at solids. I'm kind of thinking to hold off until after we get back to NZ... but he is getting hungrier and hungrier and I am thinking that I'd prefer to put him on solids than supplement with formula... but I don't know if his little tummy is ready. I still have a stash of BM in the freezer that I can use for all of my trips away, but once that is gone and I'm not around I'm going to have to put him on formula when I'm not there.
The childcare said they could start L on some pureed pears at lunchtime if I wanted, but I asked them to hold off just a bit longer. I'm gonna reasses at the beginning of december and see how it's going!
OK ladies, must go... L is getting restless!
Love Erica xx

Happy Sunday Mummas!
Tonight I'm going to see Fame the musical with my sister so DH will be looking after L. So excited!
L's poopies are finally getting back to "normal"... well his normal anyway which is mustard colour, toothpastey and only once every few days. While he was sick he was pooping every day 4 times a day and his poops were watery and dark.
He has also finally got into some sort of day time napping routine. At first I was just putting him down when he was tired, but now I'm finding he is awake around 6:30 and then back asleep at 8am... then he's up at around 9:30am and back down at 11am. Then sleeps til 1pm and is awake until 4pm. He has a catnap until around 5pm and then we start the bedtime routine and he is usually down for the night around 6:30pm - 7pm. It's only when I go out during the day that his nap time routine mucks up. I didn't realise how annoying it was to get them out of their routine! It's hard to get them back into it again!
Anyhoo... better go. L is napping and I haven't had breakfast yet. It's 11am.. might just skip Breakky and go straight for an early lunch!
Love Me x
P.S. Tali - 12wbt is going great. Have lost 3kg in 6 weeks. Not bad for someone who isn't following the plan 100% - SO HARD to do when you have a small baby!
