We only have a toilet seat insert for Jazz. I haven't got a potty. I don't want to get a potty unless I have to. I figure that toilet training is a way to not have anything to clean up...a potty is something to clean up. I've been rather slack with having Jazz sit on the toilet. It's hard when working full-time. She's not ready yet anyway. She doesn't even say Poo. She watches intently now when Matt & I go to the toilet though. I was doing a wee the other day and had to keep pushing her out of the way because she was trying to stick her head between my legs and watch. I said to her "what's mummy doing?" and she said "weeee"
She watches Matt and he hates it because there's so much chance of her sticking toys in the loo, and she pushes him while he's standing up. I might get him to either shut the door or sit down to pee for a while. She's also tried to touch him while he's weeing and that's obviously quite bad.
I found a long lost relative on FB. An uncle who has been estranged from our family for over 25 years. I don't know the full story - in fact, I hardly know anything at all. I'm not sure how to tell my mum (uncle is one of her brothers). Also not sure how to tell my nan & pop (the parents). One of my cousin's has been speaking with the uncle as well. She told her mum who said that it's fine as long as he doesn't have contact with the little kids (not sure what happened there, my cousin said my aunty would tell her). Also, this aunty said she doesn't want anything to do with him.
I'm not sure what to do. Anytime he's brought up, everyone seems to clam up and give very little info. I want to know the full story from both sides so I can make my own decision about keeping in contact with him or not.
