Miamunchkin, hello gorgeous!! Just popped in to say Cameron has had a sticky eye too, some yellow discharge and slightly swollen. I rang the maternal health nurse in my area and she told me it's really common in newborns, basically a tear duct gets blocked and will unblock itself eventually. She said to wipe it clean with warm boiled water with a cotton ball from the inside out, and breast milk is good too. Keep doing it until it clears up.
I had the stocky eye problem, tried the boiled water thing didnt work, so i used breast milk cleared up with in 2 days
