Thrilled, I remember that with DS1 (this is stretching the memory) that I had him on baby panadol for 24-48 hours after getting immunised. He had different reactions each time. In no particular order he had (and sometimes together):
  • redness around the needle site which lasted a few days
  • slight fever
  • slight "rash" think this was a very mild reaction to the MMR
  • just plain old whingy and clingy

I can't recall which one, but I do know that one of them he just sailed through with no side effects whatsoever. My doctor at the time just recommended keeping up the panadol to keep bubs comfortable - they can't really tell us that they just feel plain old ****ty.
