Naomi - I have a couple of friends who are following Save our Sleep routines, their bubs were born in March - seems to be working well for them - one of them is on here so if you have any questions on it let me know and can hook you up. I haven't read the book but think you can use it just for timings ideas even if you don't follow all the self-settling stuff.
BG - Poor E, I hated it when CJ went through a phase of pooing only every 10 days or so - although now sometimes when she does her third explosion of the day when we are out I find myself wishing she was a bit less frequent again. CJ didn't seem to be in pain, but did make straining noises and go extremely red in the face.
Nicky - No other suggestions from me on the nappy rash. CJ only has had an issue once and that wasn't a rash was chafing from a fold in a cloth nappy and doing a poo overnight. I used Calmoseptine (sp??) and put her in disposables as couldn't use that ointment with cloth. I do put MooGoo on her occasionally but her skin seems pretty resilient .
How is everyone going with solids? CJ is really gumming on stuff now, much improved over the past week (always eats better when we are eating out strangely) but still not really swallowing anything? She is still bf about every 3.5 hours so am not worried about her intake but just wondered how they learn to swallow?
