Evening ladies. Have a quick 5 mins to myself before bed.

Jake and Zac are liking school. (let's see if they feel the same in another 5-10 years)

Logan's appointment went well. He has no depth perception which means everything is 2d to him instead of 3d. His vision is blurry and all he can really see is shapes and colours, until he gets very close to something, and then he can see detail. He has found his Null Point, which is where he tilts his head to get his eyes to stop shaking so he can focus. He did alot better on his visual than he did 3 months ago, and his specialist doesn't want to see him for another 6 months. He has cut one tooth, and the second is trying to come through. He has now discovered how to pull himself up at the couch.

Will be back tomorrow for persies, and will also put some pics of my babies on their first day of school up in FB.

    Hey Naomi

I posted some pics earlier today (well photos of photos of my Sesame St pics with Cara..did you see them?) Maybe i should publish them again?

I will have to wait to see Bella and Krystie's pics for the rest though. I have to develop my disposable camera too.....but then I can't scan them.

Bridg: Glad to hear Logan's appt went well! And woohoo for 2 teeth and pulling to stand up! Cara is trying to pull herself up on me when I am laying on the bed now.

it sounds like Logan is making some decent headway at working his visual limitations out himself Bridg - has the doc said when they will look at giving him glasses to help him? obviously it won't help with the movement, but to increase the vision he has so that it's not so limited?

just checked out the sesame street piccies - very cute!

not a lot happening here - E got her second tooth yesterday. is commando crawling (well, half commando, half normal!) everywhere, into everything. she is just so much fun to be around. i think i'm falling more in love with her every single day (is that even possible?)

I sooooo get that, you think you love them as much as you possibly have, but the love just grows and grows - isn't it wonderful?

mostly it is - but it's bringing up a lot of "what the hell was wrong with me/my childhood" questions. i don't understand how my parents didn't feel like this - or if they did when we were E's age, what the hell went wrong - and how do i make sure that doesn't go wrong for me?

E has woken up rather distressed this morning. she had a bit of puke on her face, and her wake up sounds were weird, so i think she may have had a bit of a scare. she is ok, but very clingy. not her normal "yeah i've had boob, now let me explore" self

Naomi, I knew you'd love the sesame st pics hehe. It was a fun day, my legs still hurt from all the walking we did hehe

I got the disposable camera developed today. I took photos of the photos as scanner does not work. Have a look!

Took Cara to the chemist and weighed her on the baby scales...10.92kg!! Not bad for just turned 8mths old eh? hehe Think she is my biggest one yet! Laura was 10.8kg at 8mths. But Cara weighed 3710gm at birth, Laura weighed 4020gm. So Cara has really caught up well!

I agree Bridg, these babies need to stop doing grown up things hehe. Cara seems pretty much on track as far as her development goes...not trying to crawl even yet...just up on all 4s the last week or so. She will reach out far on her belly and shuffle up a bit to grab anything she really wants though..like the remote!! The other 3 kids crawled at 9mths and I expect Cara will too. Yassie walked at 14mths, Ronan at 12mths, Laura at 16mths! Yassie and Ronan only weighed 6lb 11oz though (3kg). They were born 39+ or 40 weeks like the other two. Ronan was born on his due date and Cara was almost on her due date (by 1.35hrs hehe). Both Yassie and Laura were breech caesar babies. It's funny that they have that in common...Laura & Yassie - breech/caesar. Ronan/Cara - on due date/natural births.

I TOTALLY get how you can fall in love with them more and more every day! And....it still amazes me that I can love all 4 of my kids the same! There is enough love to go round!

    More pics!! (photos of photos)

We're just heading off for dinner, but wanted to quickly say that I'll try to get all the seaworld (and other holiday pics) uploaded tonight I ADORE Kyson's photo with Elmo and Grover all by himself. Too cute. When Elmo let him go I tried to get him to crawl to me, but he stayed there, so Elmo grabbed him again and the girl running the photo thingy had to tell Elmo that he couldn't keep Kyson, hehe.

Oh, and wanted to ask if Kyson is the only one that still hasn't got any teeth? Not that I'm unhappy with it, just curious. I like his little gummy smiles
