Nicky - Hugs and positive thoughts to you and your family.

Bella, Amy - I wouldn't be surprised if CJ had been in a wonder week this week (she hasn't really shown any others) but has seemed better past two days so maybe on way through it. Apart from last night she has woken in middle of night for a feed every night this week which hasn't happened in ages. Very happy she didn't wake last night as went out with work friends so was a late night (well 11:30 late enough for me!)

Tonight will be another late night as I am babysitting for a friend from MG. She lives just down the road and also hasn't got any family round for babysitting so we are going to take in turns to babysit. They have gone to cinema, which is prob what DH and I will do with our turn as DH especially loves films but is so much nicer when can talk about them together. Bonus is they have massive TV with HD so have Hawks on, plus she made me chocolate desert!!

Cathy - I must post this video of Cerys I took while showing her pictures of Cara on facebook, she was chattering away!! She loves seeing all the pics of all the babies on FB. Is just this week she has worked out removing bibs, the ones with elastic all round are ok as she can't get over her big head but all the others takes straight off, the first time she did it (one with long arms too) I had my back to her and turned round as heard her clapping - she had got the bib off and was clapping herself!!

    Hawks are losing :-(

Vic: Oh that is so cute that Cerys likes Cara's pics! I bet she sounds so cute 'talking' to her LOL Would LOVE to see the video!! Whenever I go to take video of something Cara is doing she stops what she is doing half the time. Oh...and I think I really have no idea which baby photo is the best one as I take so many, so if you find one in my albums that is better, let me know and I'll send you the big file. Cara even get the elastic bibs off!! Can you believe it? I think that's cute that Cerys clapped after gettig her big bib off heh

Nicky: I hope and pray everything will be ok with your Dad hon! Thinking of you *Hugs*

TM: I think Cara has wonder weeks every week too Just not fond of sleeping long. But at least I know it doesn't last forever. They do grow out of it eventually..

Cara is hilarious....after I put Laura to sleep aroud 8pmish, I try to get her to sleep. And 9/10 she tries to crawl off into Laura's room to stand by her bed. And will often yell "Waura, Waura!" as I carry her out hehe. She did it heaps tonight. Continually kept crawling into Laura's room and standing by her bed. She's so cute!

Nicky - popping in to give you massive hugs re your Dad, hope everything is going ok today

Sorry for not much posting this week, everytime I turn the PC on I get called away or end up organising something or whatever, busy busy busy, it should calm down after Baileys birthday I hope.

I think we are in the 12 month wonder week (the CYH website has one at 53 weeks, we are 52 weeks atm). Bailey had been very wakeful at night, and we have even reintroduced a night bottle about 2ish, which seems a step backwards but this has FINALLY solved our constipation problem, Bailey refuses to drink the extra bottle during the day, and clearly needs the extra fluid to 'loosen' things up a bit. Anyway, I'd rather give the extra bottle overnight than have my baby scream in pain every time he does a poo

5 sleeps till my baby is 1!!!! Far out brussel sprout, how the hell did that happen?

Anyway, we have 50 adults, 20 kids and 9 babies coming on Saturday so I have a million things to do this week, Lucky I have Thursday and Friday as Annual Leave! Does anyone have a nice (and easy) pasta salad recipe they can send me? I need another salad option for the lunch

All the best for next week at work. I totally know how you feel, knowing that they'll be ok but worrying anyway. FWIW, I spent months crying intermittently at the thought of leaving Phoebs and still get twinges occasionally (like today for some reason - I think because of the unsettled night last night). Anyhoo, I hope your return to work is positive and that you cope ok. (I'm sure E will be just fine and you will enjoy the most spectacular cuddles when you get home! I still love the look on P's face when she sees me when I come to pick her up. I get the biggest grins and cuddles. It's lovely.)
I could have written Amy's words above word for word, I still have random cries and did for months before But I must say there is nothing that brightens my world more than the reaction I get from Bailey when I walk in the door - I have never felt so loved

    Hugs BG

Oh my, I have not been on BB all week and seem to have missed out on soo much!!
Will really try and catch up with everyone during the week, things are really full on ATM with DH business. He thinks I am a mind reader and the paperwork is driving me nuts!!
Aaron's naming day went really well last weekend and he got very spoilt!! We have some amazing photos and memories forever.

Now roll on all these first birthdays!!
How scary that our little (or not so little) ones are going to be one soon.
We are planning on a big bash at Lane Cove River Park with family and friends but Nay I think we should all come to Bailey's the jumping castle sounds like such fun. The question is who will enjoy it more the adults or the kids

Anyway I am lurking and thinking of you all and am sorry I just can't keep up ATM

CJ has a cold - first one - can I do I anything to help or just let it run its course?. She has a slightly runny nose, sounds like she has a frog in her throat and is sucking her thumb loads.

Vic, there is a spray you can get to help clear her nose - comes with a suction thing to help clear her nose manually - think it's Fess Little Noses. if she appears to be in pain or starts spiking a fever with it, then panadol. baby vicks on her feet to help her breathe as well. offer food and drink whenever (as much fresh fruit and veg as she'll take i guess) and give LOTS of snuggles. from memory you're a BF mummy - if you're still BF, offer boob more often - your immune system will help boost hers.

E hasn't really had any colds yet (touch wood) - she did get nasty snots for about half a day before the last two teeth broke through though...

have been in stealth mode on here (or so it feels) this past little while. still reading, but feel i have nothing to say. am starting work tomorrow, and the anxiousness has started to hit today. i feel mostly ok, and that makes me feel guilty! shouldn't i feel horrible about leaving E? i guess i know she'll be ok, it's only two days a week, we need me to go back (financially) - but up til last night, it just felt like nothing was happening, i wasn't upset or anything - and i felt bad for it. today is different - today i am nervey and anxious - so obviously i'm not the heartless biatch i was thinking myself to be 24hours ago!

Vic, Phoebs is crook too. Not a whole lot you can do except what BG's suggested. I think the increased bfs are a good idea - loads a fluids. Will likely help if she's got a sore throat too.
P has been running a slight temp all weekend, has been very unsettled o/n and lethargic through the day so I'm taking her to the drs this arvo in case of ear or some other infection. Otherwise I think you just have to roll with the punches...
Will come back when I've had some sleep.
BG, thinking of you sweets. I think it is great that you are feeling good about work! Nothing heartless about it - you know E is going to be fine and you're confident.
Got velcro baby making things a bit difficult right now but will be back.

Thanks for the tips. Recently had dropped down to about 3 feeds per 24 hours, but have spent a lot of this morning just in bed feeding and snuggling. Good tip about the baby vicks on the feet. She seems quite happy at the moment but sounds quite chesty. I am feeling quite tired myself so we shall have a doona day!

Vic - If you have a vaporiser or can borrow one, they are marvellous for keeping the chest and nasal passage clearer, we love ours!!

BG - Good luck for tomorrow babe - love your desktop picture
