Hi Mel - one of the girls on my December BB forum is from Tassie, not sure which part though, will have to ask!
Ooh really? Cool - there isn't very many BB members down here, I think we are meeting up soon for a meet up

Hi Snowy - lol yes I can imagine you did! I think if I knew it was just a little wave of nausea in the day I could handle it, it's quite difficult having 24 hour nausea for 3 months non stop, it's quite debilitating and even they tell you it's a good sign at the time it's very hard to look at it that way.....but after it's over you realise.

Hi Mel - am waiting to hear back from the other Tassie girl, she's originally from Perth so when she was visiting recently the Perth girls from the December BB forum met up. Actually, I met up with the other two again yesterday, it's nice to catch up in person.

AFM - well, poor Amelia is really teething, she has her Sophie the Giraffe's legs ferociously in her mouth most of the day now, thank goodness for the Amber necklace and SM33! Oh and Mel I double checked with the chemist about that yesterday and she said generally they say 6 months but 4 months on is fine. Oh and Amelia has been sleeping 11 hours the last 3 nights without waking.....well she did stir at 3.30 am but I just went in and moved her in the cot as she was up against the edge again. Not sure if it's the amber necklace (which she wears around her ankle at night) or the fact it's a bit cooler but whatever it is it's bloomin great! The 4 feeds are working and last night her last feed was at 7.30 pm, went to bed at 8.00 am and woke at 7.00 am - can't complain about that at the mo! I strongly recommend those necklaces as I really think it's been since she's had that.

madame, im so excited about your new little business!!
Will you have a shop front, or will it be an online thing?
Which ever way, you have to have an online option aswell - so we can all support our beautiful friend

alison, you lucky mummy you!!! can't believe amelia is sleeping so well!! Great to hear! Theo still has his good nights, and his bad. But he is such a placid little man, i really can't complain, i take him absolutely everywhere, and he never fusses, complete opposite to what his sister was like!

Snowy - isn't it heartbreaking to think how quickly they're all growing? lol! I just love this stage... hell i love ALL of the stages, but with that said, i wish we could spend more time in each one, things are rushing through too quickly IMO.

ANyway, not too much happening my way DH is away tonight, so instead of doing my usual clean the house in the arvo, i just enjoyed a 2 hour nap with both kiddies in bed with me, was delicious! Been really reallly horrible with ww lately too crap! But back on track the last two days, hopefully i can undo the damage! Its just so hard, my bestie was home for the weekend (ya'll probably saw, by the photo on fb), so we had a jolly ol' time. lol

    love you all xx

    Hey ladies,
just got back from the doc with feo (hehe), he has an ear infection
so got him on some antibiotics, and ear drops, and have to take him back next week for a check. Poor little man

DD has been driving me nutters today! "Rushed" into the pharmacy to get the script filled (i emphasise the word 'rush', cause ya'll know what its like), and "mum, milkshake please?", so off i go, with the nappy bag, theo in one hand, all the while holding her hand. Get the milkshake, back to the pharmacy. "mum, wee please", off we go.. to the toilet, theo in one hand, nappy bag in other, while holding dd hand (not to mention how EFFING HARD it is to get her shorts and knickers on and off while holding theo, grr), back to the pharmacy, "mum, poo please" So off we go again.... what is it with kids and the effing toilet?!?! As soon as they see one they think its their duty to give it a test run?! I swear i would have done my block if we wern't in public, haha.

Then we get home, open the bottle of antibiotics, put theo down to measure the dosage, up comes the cyclone (aka dd), and decides to TIP IT OUT ONTO THE TABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So.,.... call the doctors, then back to the pharmacy we go.... ffaaarrrrk mmeeee deeaaadd (sorry for the language).

    love you all xx

    Hi Girls!

Hi Telly - geez how annoying lol! Hmmmm, maybe one child is plenty then ...just kidding, no way would I stop at one...unless I have no choice of course!

Hey girls, I just realised I'm meant to go to a Tupperware party tonight (groan)....it's within walking distance from my house but I really don't want to go now, I've been so busy this week I just want to cook my spag bol, sit down, eat it and relax for the evening. The only thing is, it's through my good friend's sister in law, she's a lovely lady and everything and when my friend told me she'd be disappointed if I didn't go it's made me feel bad. Is it rude to not go last minute?

i need to get this off my chest before i go to bed, sorry girls
i have been a terrible mummy today. the worst. im ashamed to admit how ive acted. i have just been so awful.
i have so much going on at the moment but ds doesnt deserve to have it taken out on him. I yelled and screamed at him so much today. i slammed doors. i put him in his room after he woke from his sleep -on the wrong side of bed - screaming for 10 minutes like i had cut his leg off- and went outside to hang the washing on the line. left dd asleep on the couch. stupid stupid stupid mummy. cam back in and she was on the floor screaming. not hurt thank god but screaming. ds screaming and when i go to him in his room he looks at me with sheer terror. god what have i done to my poor children. i try to gentle parent so much but today for somereason i just lost it. i havent even told dh dd fell off the couch because im sick of him judging me as a bad housewife. i never get anything done and even though he doesnt get angry, i feel as though he thinks im useless. i just hate what i have become at the moment. just because something else needs more time than my children. nothing ever should. they are my everything. im sorry for this. i just feel awful sorry

OH Madame We all have bad days my friend - I had an awful one the other day, it was absolute rat shiat - and I was screaming at the kids most of the day too - and shut both the older two in their rooms so I could have a bit of a breather so as not to strangle them!!! I ended up on the couch at around 5.30pm bawling my eyes out with both older kid on my knees and they were crying too - huge sob session... ahhh some days just SUCK. But tomorrow is usually better Don't worry about these days mate, they pass and the kids are too little to remember them Oh, and I think DS fell off the couch when he was about 2 months old - whoops!

Telly - omg.. I laughed so hard at your post.... I lost it one day with DS because he went to the toilet 4 freakin times when I was in Coles. ARGHHHH.. was so frustrating. In selecting meat - mum I gotta wee... ok park trolley, go to toilet, does a wee. In another aisle looking for something.. mum I gotta wee.. are you serious?!? Yup. Ok, park trolley over to side, rush out get on toilet - oh I can't wee. *sigh* Ok DS don't tell me you need to wee if you DON'T need to wee, I just want to get the groceries and go home. Ok Mum. In the same aisle - but at the end of it - mum I gotta poo. ARGHH. OK - rush off to toilet - oh I can't poo. By this time I was yanking him out doors and getting really freakin stern - I just wanted to finish doing the groceries - it had taken an hour and a half so far and I still wasn't finished. Go back into coles, get one aisle across - mum I gotta weeeeeeeeeeeee... ARGHHHHHHH... take him back there (not so gently) sits on there - oh I can't wee. I ended up saying - next time you say you need to wee mate - YOU ARE DOING IT IN YOUR FREAKIN PANTS!!!!!
    Soooooo frustrating isn't it?!!?!?!?

Madame darling girl, I wouldn't call that being a bad mummy, I'd call that being a normal mummy. We all lose it like Mel said, I did it last week and yelled "just give me 5 f'ing minutes" to my 4.5 month old, WTF!!!!! I felt so terrible as I looked down and she had stopped crying and was just staring at me with sad eyes. We all lose it from time to time....I bet our mums did the same to us and we don't remember so to you and please don't worry about it, today is a different day.

I have a question/vent to post.....interested in your opinions girls. Re my mums group, I had this girl get hold of me on FB through a girl I worked with and she said she was a single mum and had no other friends with kids so wondered if I'd mind if she friends requested me so we could talk babies etc. So I did and then asked the other girls if they would mind if I invited her along to our mums group meeting. I felt so sorry for her not having anyone with kids to vent to and she had a traumatic birth (11 pounder and they let her birth naturally when halfway through they realised he was too big)...anyway so she came along a few weeks ago and has been coming since. Problem is, she's a bit simple and I mean that in the nicest way, she's definitely different and I've since spoken to someone who ironically went to school with her and she was in a special learning class but apparently is harmless. She's really nice but she tends to say things that are freaking the other girls out and now they're all on FB with her they're all panicking. Example, she sent a wall post to one of the girls asking how she settles her baby at night as she's having trouble and after the mums group girl replied with an answer she then wrote back saying thanks, you're a good friend. Now they're all emailing everyone saying OMG the girl is a freak and I'm not going to add her as a friend now and bla bla bla bla. So, basically I've just replied to them all and said that if they want me to ask her not to come anymore just to say so but that I think we need to remember she's not quite the same as us (and you can tell, she looks a little bit different, almost like a slight case of down syndrome) so she means no harm. I feel like they're being really immature, if the girl was stalking us (and she has my mobile number and hasn't bothered me once in between meet ups) then I'd be inclined to agree. For now I think she's harmless and just needs people with babies to talk to. She lives with her parents and they have money by the looks, she went to a private girls school too so I think she has good support from them so it's not like she's from some trailer park (lol) like they're making out.

Sorry to go on, I guess I just wanted to get your opinion, do you think I should tell her not to come anymore or should I just tell the other girls to stop being so nasty and give her a chance? I thought I was doing the right thing but now I'm regretting it!!!!

Gee Alison, I'd probably tell the girls to grow the f up and stop acting like they're at high school. I mean, seriously? People do this to other people?

Good on you for taking the first step and making her feel like she has a friend.

I'm glad I'm a hermit, and I don't belong to a mother's group if this is what it consists of...

Madame - Oh honey - Big Hugs! You're not a bad Mummy, you're a NORMAL Mummy! We're human, sometimes we lose it and what makes you a GREAT Mummy IS that you CARE when you have! If you were a Bad Mummy, you'd think Ah scrw the kids, they deserve it! You are far too nice and beautiful and lovely to have this on your shoulders, you are an AMAZING Mummy! I guarantee EVERY Mummy has lost it at some stage, even the ones you think are absolutely perfect! You just don't hear about it often as I think we all havethe pressure form society that nurturing, loving, patient, "good" Mummy's never lose their cool, no one ever talks about it andinstead pretends everything is wonderful, we should make a pact to be honest that while Mummyhood is wonderful, it does have it sh*tty moments too and the more we talk about it and be honest with ourselves and other Mummy's, the less pressure we'll feel to always liev up to the perfect stereotype society sets for us... And then the more we'll see we are wonderful NORMAL Mummy's! Good Mummy's are Human too!! Big hugs beautiful girl, you are doing a fantastic job, look at Tully & Harper's little smiles, they are smiling because of YOU xx

Ali - OMG What B*tches! I agree, grow the f up, if she's not harming anyone what's the big deal? Grrrr they need a slappin' by the sounds hahaha - Good on you for being such a sweety, she's so lucky to have found someone so kind to be able to see the past the streotype and HIgh School like group mentality - You are too gorgeous, thankyou for being so beautiful!

Hi to everyone else! Gotta run, Cruz is just starting to waking up, DH had his first night shift at the Prison last night - I missed him soooo much! We let our cats out of the Laundry of the new house today too, so much fun watching them fly around the yard with their new found freedom! Cruz sits up all by himself now and only occassionally topples over, but laughs so hard when he does Aaaah gotta go, am getting wailed at now, be back soon - Love you all!! xx

Madame Naw.. i hate seeing you so sad. You are definately NOT a bad mum. You are a KICK ASS mum! You are so cool, when the kids go to school, all their friends are going to be jealous - wishing you were their mum! haha! Seriously - Iggle Piggle birthday cake... come on.... what a tops mum you are! Not to mention the vegie garden, letting tully play in the puddles when its raining, AND the upsie daisy cake for tully's friend!!!!! I"M FLAT OUT MAKING DD A CAKE LET ALONE HER FRIENDS ONE!!!!
DD rolled off the bed when she was about 5/6 months old, i FREAKED out, was a crying mess. DH called me a bad mum, asked why the f*** wasn't i looking after her and then gave me silent treatment for about 2 days So i know exactly your reasoning for keeping this our secret. Men just really don't get it... But we do.. and we love you even more for being so open and honest, k? Chin up babe... we all have our bad days xx

Alison - wtf?! Who are these people you're hanging out with!?!! Gee I'd be culling that mothers group too - just not with your new friend, but with the other b*tches! Who says things like that these days!? Like the others have said, we're not in high school anymore! You're a beautiful person to have invited her in the first place xx

Mel - Haha! Glad you got a laugh over my delightful adventure to the pharmacy! Toilets and kids don't mix do they?? Its DD's number one reason every single night why she can't go to sleep.. wee/poo. ahhhh. Meanwhile how damn cute are you kids!! Was just checking out your new fb pics. Aricyn is going to be a little hottie when he gets older! Very handsome! BTW i LOVE your baby names!

AFM today we went to a national park for a bbq lunch, was awesome! There were wallabies everywhere, dd couldn't get enough! Theo is starting to get a little better today i think, which is good. anndd... thats it for me. pretty boring i'm afraid!

    love you all! xx
