OMG girls, THE WORST DAY EVER!

Had a hens night, for a girl im not too keen on (we've been very close friends with the buck for years). Was a sl*tty sailor theme. To start of.. i HATE hens parties with these types of dress ups, its so degrading. It is $50 per person as it is a pub crawl.
I RSVPed and told the bridesmaid that i wont be staying, just making an appearance, as i have a 4 month old breastfed baby at home.
AS SOON as i got there, the chick walks up to me and asks me for my 50 dollars!! WTF!!!! I said, "oh no, i'm not going on the bus, just staying for a diet coke". skank "yeah, ok, do you have your $50?" I said, no.. i'm not paying it.

She stuck her nose up at me, walked away, and clearly starting *****ing about me with all the other skanks, who looked like they should be arrested for indecent exposure. grr. Sipping my diet coke, nibblies come out. OMG they were STARING at me!!!! Waiting to see if i'd have a nibblie!!! i was getting so ticked off, and just soo embarrased! I ended up leaving, giving a $50 note to another one of the bridesmaids. Grr, in such a fowl mood.

Get home, try to put dd down for bed, then she starts with her crap that she normally pulls when dh is home. a million excuses why she can't go to sleep. my back is sore (dh often says this), need a drink, need a wee, need a poo, need paw paw juice (pawpaw ointment for her dematitis), flat out cry, flat out scream, Im just about to do my nutter! give in, & tell her to come to my bed. She then lies down and trys to drink water out of her cup, my entire bed was drenched! So had to put ds down in his cot while i changed all my linen. He is screaming (no lie.. screaming), so i tell her to go in there an apologies, cause if she wasnt being silly and just went to bed he wouldn't have to be there, she then starts screaming.... no lie... screaming. omg.... Phyco mum came out... i flipped. told her to get in her room and shut up Finally got ds down to bed. feeling sooo bad about telling her to shut up went in and said sorry, love you lots. and she said "..ok.." faaarrrkkkk!!!!!! I"M A SUCKY MUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rang dh and abused him (he is at the bucks party), told him he is no longer allowed to be her hero at bedtime, cause then she expects me to do it when he's not home, and i just can't!! im not that talented!!

    thank you for listening

Omg I can't believe you paid the $50! That is so rude of the silly cow, hope they all suffer the mother of all hangovers tomorrow lol!
I have told ds to shut up before, yep deffinately feels sucky, but you know you aren't. Your words won't scare her and she loves you. When we are tired and the baby is screaming it is so easy to loose our cool and look for Someone to blame.
We all still love you xxx

I'm with the others Telly, I wouldn't have paid the money either!!!

Oh and my kids all got told to shut up yesterday, so must of been the word of the day for everyone.. ROFL

Ubba - yeah I caved, I'm weak, what can I say? So luke is 4 ay - the way you describe him is exactly like aricyn - he can be so sweet to his sisters, and so helpful and kind and polite - and then its like a switch is flicked - he becomes nasty, selfish and so MEAN - arghh it does my head in. I'm hoping he gets better at 4 though, cos these 3's are makin mumma crazy.

GTG - he is attacking DD1. Oh no he's not - DD2 is pulling DD1's hair.. bahahahaha!!!!

Hi Telly - OMG I fourth what the other girls have said and I love Natty's comment, I was thinking the same thing! I think I would've told her to get f'd, thrown my diet coke in her face and stormed out. lol. I cannot believe they asked you for $50 and I'm with you, who has those dress up ****ty skanky ho hens nights at this age anyway, I know I'm a bit older but still. My friend had a school girl theme when I was in my mid 20's and I found that embarrassing enough. You just get stared at by other girls and you can see what they're thinking. I hope they had a crap night in the end. Gosh wonder how the wedding will be then, do you have to pay for your meal there as well?! lol Oh and I yelled at Amelia last week if you remember me mentioning earlier in the week, I said, for gods sake just shut up and give me 5 minutes......when I looked down she was mouth open just staring at me, god I felt awful so I picked her up and gave her a big cuddle and she smiled at me. Thank goodness they forgive us so quickly huh. I've never done that before but I'm sure it won't be the last, we're only human after all.

Hi Ubes - well, the movie was disappointing, I actually thought it was crap. It had a few scary moments but other than that I wouldn't waste my time hiring it. I love a good scary movie but this wasn't as good as I thought it wasn't going to be.

Hi Kymmy - hows your dad now?

Hi Mel - how come you changed your name back?

AFM - have another 2 year old party to go to today, I really don't feel like going so we're just going to go for a little bit. Do people have parties every year just for presents? I was just wondering as I though you'd would do a 1st birthday party and then leave it for a couple of years but maybe I'm wrong, what's the protocol for these things? Pretty tired today too, we didn't get home until after midnight, luckily Amelia slept until 7.30 am and she's asleep now and has been since 9.00 am, it's now 10.15 am so I assume she'll be waking soon. She had a great day yesterday, was sooo happy and laughing and napping regularly. Sleeping properly in the day is definitely the key isn't it! If only they did it every day huh.

Have a great Sunday girls! xx

Hi Al, our kids have always had a party, not for the presents- just coz. They usually invite 5 or 6 kids, sometimes it's at home sometimes out somewhere.

    Hey everyone!!

Alison - JD is only turning 3 this year and we have had a party the last 2 years and will again this year. Only really his playgroup friends that are his age and my family come though and we dont make a big deal out of it...I just usually make him a special cake (lawnmower last year!) and have nibblies and they run mental for a while and wear themselves out.....
I cant even say anything to Abbey as JD repeats everything I say!! If I even say what you said to Amelia he is straight in her face thinking that he can do it too so I have no where to vent!!! She wont remember any of this time of her life so don’t even waste time worrying about it….wait til they get to 3….then they remember!! And dob on you as well!!

Telly – That’s so freakin unbelievable….what a bunch of idiots…I hope they have the hangover from hell as well!! Will serve them right! Hope you’re having a better day today and the kiddies are being nice to you!

Ubba – Jealous about your iphone….I have an ipod which is good, but I’d love an iphone…one day I guess!! Still hoping to win lotto!!

Kymmy - Great about your rings!! I usually put cream on my hand then I can slide mine on OK....if I dont do that then I'm not a great chance of getting them on!

AFM – Same sh*t, different day as they say…..Abbey still sleeping pretty miserably and JD being a ratbag….nothing seems to change in this place!!!

Took them over to Macca’s with my step sister this morning to kill sometimes and it was a complete debacle….I told JD to stand next to the car just behind me while I got Abbey out and he’s usually good but I turn around after I get her and he’s gone. Panic and nearly have a heart attack, look around and he’s half way up the steps to the restaurant….could have lost it right on the spot in front of everyone, then whinge, whinge, whinge the whole time (must be that time of year or something??) – arrrggghhhh, nothing is ever good enough for this kid!!!! Doesn’t he know some kids would kill to go to Macca’s and run around and eat crap???????

Now he’s on the bed telling Abbey he doesn’t like her anymore and poking his tongue out at her….lovely.

Everyone (my mum and her partner, my dad and his wife and my DH) have decided to go away next weekend so I will be flying solo from Fri morning through til Sun afternoon. Dreading it and it’s making me feel sick just thinking about it…..just knowing that mum can come and take JD and amuse for a couple or hours or us going over there for a while is great….I know some people don’t have that at all so I shouldn’t complain….it’s always chaos here at night time with dinner (JD not eating it!), bathtime, me trying to get organised etc so that will be the worst….

Will stop whinging now and get off – hope your babies are all being good to you! Thanks for listening!

Hi Kymmy - lucky you, I tried this morning and my finger instantly puffed up! I can wear a ring on my right hand though. I'm getting upset about it, how long till I can wear them again, it's been 6 months! Should I get the resized????

Hi Shayna - mmmm Macca's, I would kill for a burger - darn wheat intolerance!

Just back from the party, was ok, very humid out there today though. There were 5 of us who were all just pregnant this time last year so was funny to see us all with babies now. One of them had a 12 week old this time last year and was nursing a 7 week old today! AND she has a 3 year old!

    Hi Everyone else

PS - has anyone tried accessing the condolences page for Mikayla today? I just tried and it's telling me I don't have access all of a sudden!

    Hi guys

Bit chilly in tassie tonight, have the kids dressed in their sleepsuits - sooo darn cute!!!! DS fits into a size 4 perfectly, DD1 into a size 2 perfectly, and DD2 is in her 00's that a tad bit tight for her.. hahaha!!!! They are soooooooo cute running around though, almost takes the attention off their bad behaviour.. hehehe

Alison - we gave DS a 1st birthday party (just a few friends and family) and then said we weren't doing it anymore until they can ask for one. So he asked for one for his 3rd birthday, so we did a little one at home - just a few friends. DD1 never had one for her 1st, and probably won't until she can ask either. I dunno - I just feel a bit stupid getting my cousins kids to come cos they don't have any other friends - its different if they are at school and have their own friends that they want to invite ya know? But we do tend to do things a little differently in this house..

Shayna - must be the time for whinging.. my god, its doing my head in. Thank god we went out in the car today so DS had a nap and that was nearly an hour free of whinging in my day.. bahahahahaa!!!!!! Ahhhhh... 3 year olds are GLORIOUS.

Not much else goin on... just chillin with our colds - only DH is free from it.

Cheers to everyone! Hope ya's all had a good weekend.

Hi Mel - it's rainy in Perth too today and cooler - thank god, so over the heat at the moment! Haven't dug out Amelia's wondersuits yet - she's been in her all in one jammies but just the cotton ones. You did make me look though and of the tonne of wondersuits I bought before she was born they're all ranging from 0000's to 000's so none of them will fit anyway as she's in 00's now! What a waste of money, she's never worn them!!!! Oh well, will keep for next time. lol

AFM - well, Amelia didn't sleep much yesterday arvo at my friend's little boys birthday party and then we went to the in-laws for dinner (again!) and she didn't sleep there either - as usual MIL overstimulated her so I thought we'd be in for a bad night but it was quite the opposite! I started feeding Amelia a little more yesterday as the last few days she's been wanting to feed every 2.5 to 3 hours again so I thought maybe with the growth spurt etc she's hungrier and it worked a treat - she went 4 sometimes a little more hours between so I dropped the last feed - she should've had the last feed at 8.00 pm if she'd gone 4 hours but she went a little longer so didn't feed until almost 9.00 pm and slept until 8.00 am without a peep! I woke up this morning and had to ask DH if I got up to her as I thought I'd done it on auto pilot and not realised lol. So exciting. Probably won't happen again tonight as I imagine it's because she was so exhausted from yesterday but I'll take it thanks! Today I'll see if she goes the 4 hours again and if she does the last feed should be around 8.00 pm so will be interesting to see what time she lasts till - I imagine she'll be up more around 6.00 am then 8.00 am but I don't care, especially if she doesn't have me up for the dummy two or three times in the night! Will let you know how it goes, no two nights are ever the same are they! Besides, we tried this a couple of weeks ago and it failed miserably so we might end up reverting back again. Trial and error!

Well, best go have my shower while she has her nap. It's rainy here today so the room is nice and dark and cosy so hopefully it will help her have a longer nap! I have to go to the dentist for a filling today, I broke an old filling when I was in hospital with Amelia and have been putting it off since lol. I HATE the dentist! My sister's going to watch Amelia while I go, wish me luck, I'm a scaredy cat with the dentist.

Alison - good luck at the dentist. I need to go too - my back tooth is suddenly (that is to say about 2 mths ago I noticed it was) sharp. My uncle is my dentist so he just charges MBF, I just need to get off my butt and book an appointment - they came over on Good Friday but I didn't tell him I needed to see him, otherwise he probably would have gotten his receptionist to call me. Good luck with another night like that too.

Mel - I've got Mr I in 0 wondersuits (too hot here for blanket suits yet) to fit over his nappy. His feet don't reach the feet of the suit though - shortie like his parents. I'm nodding in agreement with the sentiment about 3 year olds!

4:30 this morning Mr I poos & I blearily pull his pants off and put them on the blankets of our bed, start to change him & realise there's been leakage & the pants have overflow on them. Get DH to hold him while I change our sheets, pull the blanket off, remake the bed. DH & Mr I have a wonderful time playing under the top sheet so of course he wouldn't go back to sleep. And its raining today so I cant wash the blankets (its only a tiny spot on one of the 2 blankets, but still I want to wash them both).

Frequency this kid poos you wouldn't think he'd have enough for a blow out!

Snowy - Bummer about the rain....it's always when you have a full line or something important to wash hey?!?! Abbey is the opposite with her pooping - only goes about every couple of days...before that when I was BF her it was only once every 10 days so at least it's gotten better than that!!!

Telly - Glad you had a laugh at the pics....it was a funny night....still love Nick. Our friends think we are mental going to that concert but it was a blast!!! They are soooo old now!!

Alison - Bummer about your tooth....how's this though. I have to get deep cleaning done on my front teeth and that starts in July and has to get done over 5 appt's at $750 a pop!!! I have no idea how we are going to pay for that when the time comes....and before that I have been told to get my remaining 3 wisdoms out....I'm putting that off for as long as possible as I'm completely dreading it....I got my other one out not long after I had JD and I was an absolute wreck....howled the whole time and carried on..the dentist couldnt believe it and rang me on Mon morning to make sure I got home OK and made it through the weekend!! I kept saying to him 'I just had a baby with no drugs or anything and didnt even cry or carry on like this'. I couldnt believe the mess I got myself into and then it was over in a flash and didnt even hurt. It's the thought of the whole thing and then they show the x-rays and the roots are soooo damn long....makes me shudder just thinking about it. Anyway, we only have basic dental cover so should probably look into getting a bit more to help cover the cost. I wish it was something I could just put off but I dont think I can. I dont want to be too much of a hillbilly with all my front teeth missing!!! : )

Mel - I was hoping the day that JD turned 3 that the whinging would somehow stop magically?? You dont think that's going to happen?? He is infatuated with 'Cars' at the moment and goes on and on and on about all the cars that he wants for his collection. We have exhausted all the range they have in Grafton so are now looking on ebay for them....they are about $10 a pop and I counted up what he has and he has about $250 worth so far....anyway, the whinging never stops about I want this one and this one and this one and when I say we are looking for them or the postman is bringing them he completely loses it and has massive tantys...lovely time we are having here!!

AFM - Abbey still not sleeping well at all but I'm so used to it now I dont even think I notice the exhaustion. I probably get up about 7 times a night then end up on the lounge with her half the time and probably get 3 - 5 hours sleep a night (none of that in 1 hit either!). Ah well, got to get better hey?! She's super cute though so that makes up for it!! High maintenance little lady at the moment too...sick of being on the floor or in the bouncer so is attached to my hip most of the time with arms flailing about....cute!

    Hi everyone else!

JD sounds exactly like DS1 - DH ended up buying Sarge from Cars on e-bay. There's a new series just out so don't pay e-bay prices, wait a few weeks and they should be at your local shops. I'm trying to get DH out of the habit of buying a car (Cars or hot wheels) everytime he goes shopping with DS1 'cause he expects it & tanties ensue. I explain before we go that we don;t have much money this week and can't afford a car to try and pre-empt the tanty but it doesn't always work.
