i think tully has hit terrible twos. he screams for no reason, hits stuff, throws his toys- and he never did stuff like that. he is such a sweet boy and i dont want him to turn into the little **** of a child you wish wasnt yours. this has added to my bad mummy moments im sure.

Hi Girls - thanks so much for your support, it's nice to know you all agree with me. xx

OMG I just checked Ebay and realised I have forgotten to pay for an item I won - cop this, it was only won 8 days ago and Ebay have sent an unpaid item complaint!!!! It's for $5.00!!!! If they give me a crappy rating and stuff up my 100% positive feedback from the last 5 years over 8 days and $5.00 I'm going to be so annoyed! Ebay is linked to my work email and I can't change it because stupid Ebay are telling me when I type in my personal email that it already exists....of course it does, to me!!!! They won't re-set it or anything and so when they send me things or I get "won or outbid" notices they go to my work email, which of course I'm not accessing at the moment! I'm so embarrassed and annoyed, I've emailed the people and paid so hopefully they won't give me sh*tty feedback. Not to mention couldn't they have emailed me themselves and asked me before lodging a complaint, it's 8 days ago, not 18 or 28!!!!! Grrrr

    Hi girls….

I have been lurking around but haven’t had the energy to post…have been a bit flat lately.

Al – Cant believe that about Ebay….We bought a toy for JD a couple of days ago and we have transferred money to our PayPal account but it’s taking forever so I hope they don’t get cranky at us….we’ve told them so hopefully they understand the delay….and about your friend, you are lovely to have offered all you have…those other girls obviously have no idea and shame on them. Did you end up going to that Tupperware party?

Madame – Tully will be fine. JD has been going through that stage for ages now but he’s been good for a good couple of weeks now so fingers crossed he’s turned the corner. He will turn back into your gorgeous boy soon enough!! Abbey rolled off the lounge a while ago now and you feel terrible when it happens and I was worried that I’d brain damaged her (you know how you assume the worst!!!) or something hideous like that but she’s fine….I couldn’t believe it when I heard the thud and then the horrible screaming that followed….I felt like throwing up at the time but she’s OK! Good luck with your new shop – sounds great!

Telly – Congrat’s on your 900 posts!!! It is addictive isn’t it! I always check BB when I go on as part of my routine too! I hardly have to time to look at any other threads but when I do I get stuck on here for ages! So nice to have you girls to talk and vent to and who understand!! Hope that Feo’s ear is feeling better. Abbey had an ear infection and the poor thing was miserable. I’ve never had one so I don’t know what it feels like but she screamed everytime I touched her ear….

Alicia – I cant believe Cruz is sitting up!! I think it will be ages before Abbey does that. I think JD did it on his own at about 6 months old so Cruz is a little smarty pants!! Love the new photos of him, he’s just adorable!!!

Mel – Love the new pics on FB too – they are super cute your kids!!!

Hi to everyone else I have forgotten!!! Hope you’re going OK Natty too!!! It’s been ages! And Heavenly too!

AFM – I have been in a complete state of sleep deprivation with this little lady of mine. Talk about feeing like a bad parent – it must be the week for it…..I had had enough last night and just wrapped her so tight in her blanket like a straight jacket and dumped her in her cot, put her music / light show thingy on and left the room before I was going to go mental at her. She screamed and screamed and I left her for about 10 mins then went back in gave her a cuddle, re wrapped her then left again and I went back to bed and passed out. This was at about 10:45 and I had already had to go into her a couple of times and I just couldn’t deal with a another night of hourly waking / whinging. Next thing I know it was about 2:30 and I flew out of bed to check on her cause it had been so long and I always think she wont be breathing or something and she was fine. Then she woke at about 3:30 so I gave her a quick feed and she went back down. Better night by our standards!! The night before it would have been about 8 times I got up??? Is anyone else still going through this??

I think she is getting a bit fluey as her cousin was full of boogers and coughing and sneezing on Thurs when we visited so that could be part of it too??? JD had a b’day party yesterday for a little friend and Abbey was inconsolable. I had to leave the house and go into the front yard when they did the cake and presents she was screaming that bad and nothing would make it better. In the end after about 40 mins of this she passed out and I just held on to her but she was red and sweating and crying – completely stressful and one of the worst outings that I’ve had with her!!

On the other hand, while DH has been away JD has been great. I hope he’s turned the corner now and the terrible 2’s might be on their way out….though it’s probably just a ray of sunshine through the cloudy sky and he’ll be back to his ‘normal’ cranky self sooner rather than later!!!

Anyway, after my pretty decent sleep last night I’m feeling more positive and will hopefully have a nice day today – I hope you all do too!!! Abbey is up and have a nice little conversation with herself!! Very cute - that reminds you why you do it all doesnt it??

Alison - I wouldn't worry about your feedback too much, sellers can't leave negative feedback anymore on their buyers I'm sure they will understand if you email them and explain whats happened xxxx

Madame - the 2's are hard years, but I hate to say it, the 3's have been much harder!!!! They begin pushing their boundaries after 2, seeing what they can get away with and its just sooo frustrating at times.. I've turned into a screeching banshee sometimes I think!!! I dread to think what my neighbour thinks of me So don't worry - you guys are worried about what you are like - I'm probably about 10 times worse.. LOL

Telly - 900 posts? Errr.. don't look at mine.. ROFL!!!!

Alicia - wow for sitting up!!!! Eden lasts for about one second then falls to the side.. haha!!!

Shayna - thats rough man - I don't know how you do it Have you had her checked for reflux at all?
Thanks for all the comments on my FB pics guys - I think they are pretty cute most of the time too Just have to make another one soon heheheheheehe

to everyone else!! Hope everyone is chillin' along ok with their bubbas.

Hi girls, I'm on my way out so I'll make it a quick hello
Al, eBay automatically send you a reminder if the item hasn't been marked as payment received by the seller. I won an item once and paid cash on pick up. The seller never marked it as payment recieved even though we both left feedback. I had to ask them to mark it off so I stopped getting messages! Don't stress xxx

Hi everyone. We all have colds here - Mr I is coughing in his sleep (and waking himself up alot of the time) & L woke at 1am with the most terrible cough, he was so upset poor little mite. DH gave him panadol - didn't help with the cough, but it calmed him down that Daddy was doing somthing to make him feel better. Can't take him to the doctor today as you need to know 3 days ahead if you're going to need to go on a Sunday to get an appointment at the 7 day doctors, but I'll probably take him to his normal doc tomorrow and not take him to childcare. I think he needs ventolin, he had it before and it expired & I never got any more.

Mum said that when L was Mr I's age, if he was coughing like this I'd have had him to the doctor days ago, and she's right. He's happy even with the cold though & he's got the best smile - especially when he suddenly sees me! Feels so good!

It still doesn't occur to DH to change a nappy. Mr I was crying & I was on the loo, so DH wanders arround with him over his shoulder, so when he gives him to me he's really upset & the feed has to be delayed while nappy gets changed. Grrrr.

Mel: The 'I need to wee all the time' stage didn't last long with L - its been repalced by crotch grabbing denial of need to wee until the very last minute, which is only slightly less annoying.

Telly: I was so close to 1000 posts (after 4 1/2 years of membership) until they did the cull. You talk alot Mel, but its all fun!

Alicia: Cruz is a little star (and very cute)! Sitting up already!

Shayna: hope Abbey gives you a better day today.

Madame: as the others said - its a bad day, you're a great Mum!

My left shift key is broken, its quite annoying.

    Hi Girls....

Hi Shayna - wow you are such a trooper, I don't know how I'd cope with that amount of lack of sleep, I guess after a while you get used to it huh. I still go into Amelia some nights a few times to pop in the dummy or move her from the edge of the cot but she's usually fussing in her sleep so she doesn't wake as such and I'm able to go straight back to bed, it's still interrupting my sleep though and I never sleep deeply anymore. I did end up going to the Tupperware party, just for an hour and came out $170 less!! I ALWAYS get suckered in to buy things, I told DH it was $100 though, not that it matters as it's my money anyways but still, he thinks I'm a sucker (which I am) so I always lessen it lol. I hear you on the baby cracking the poops things - see below.

Hi Mel - I forgot sellers can't leave negative feedback anymore! The lady emailed me back this morning after I sent her a message and she said not to worry as she has 4 kids of her own so understands the whole baby brain thing. lol

Hi Ubbs - thanks I didn't know that about the automatic notifications either....I was wondering why she hadn't sent me a note herself - I mean the item was $5.00 and it's an online store not a private seller so surely they weren't that worried ha ha.

Hi Snowy - sorry you all have colds, that sucks....hope you are all feeling better soon. Nice to know you relax more after the first child, it's scary when you don't know whats wrong and I imagine I'll be like that when Amelia gets sick. Dreading it!

Hi Telly - sadly, I've gone over 1000 posts and I've only been on BellyBelly for 12 months I talk wayyyyy too much lol!

AFM - well, went to my sister's yesterday arvo, I had 2 nephews both turn 17 this week (my sisters had kids 2 days apart from each other), and my niece is next wednesday, she turns 16. Had a lovely arvo until Amelia's mouth started bothering her and silly me forgot to take her panadol with me and boy did she get bad. It was just my family but because she's normally not like it I did panic a bit, I got a bit stressed, she was really screaming and going red and sweating - same as Abbey. In the end we had to leave so I could come home and give her panadol.....by the time we got home which is only a 10 minute drive she was fine! I think it got hot and too loud as well as her sore gums, DH was letting her chew on his finger and he said she was really biting down on it. Poor petal. So I fed her and then put her down, normally she's asleep by the time I get to her room, I love cuddling her to sleep - even though people tell me you shouldn't do that, I don't care, whatever works I say - anyway she was still awake when I put her down and I just put her in her Grobag, gave her a dummy (which by the way she is forever pulling out now and trying to put back in, mostly unsuccessfully), popped on her music and walked out, 10 minutes later I went and checked and she was asleep! I was excited, that's the first time I've done that ha ha. Although I've just tried this morning and she's in her room crying so will go check on her now.

Hi to everyone else, hope you have a lovely Sunday.
    xx

    Hello Ladies!

Sarah: You are SO NOT a bad mummy! Like the others have said, EVERYONE has moments as a parent that they are not so proud of.... trust me, with a 10 year old, i've had tonnes TBH i think that is why my Brittney is such an angel today.... she is probably ever so slightly afraid to be naughty in case mummy LOSES IT!! haha! No but seriously, you are a great mummy.. and i know you probably think we are just saying that to make you feel better, but it is true, we can see it. You love your kids soooo much and that is what makes you a good mummy. You always put them first, even though you have so much other stuff on your plate. Tully is going to test you, lots and lots and lots.. Brit still does it to me and then every now and again i'll go "HANG ON A SECOND!!!!!" and realise that she's been taking advantage of my kindness so i'll scream at her and she'll remember why thats not such a good idea! You have to get angry at your kids, you have to go psycho at them every now and again otherwise they'll just take the p*ss and you'll end up with ferals. So don't worry honey, you are doing the right thing. And good on you for talking about it. We love you xxxx

Hello everyone else... sorry for no persies but i have Archie in my lap playing with a sheet of A4 paper (hahahha and you think YOU'RE a bad mummy! hahahhahahaha)
Archie is pretty much sitting up aswell! About three days ago i thought i should probably start practising sitting with him and he can pretty much do it already! He does fall forward a little bit but mostly stays sitting up for a lil while! Gosh they are growing so fast....
So my bestie STILL hasn't POAS! She was waiting for the weekend to be over (so she could have a few drinks without feeling guilty... (Once again Sarah, you think YOU'RE a bad mummy... hahahahahahaha) But i CAN'T WAIT! I even took her down a test and was following her around threatening to FORCE her to pee on it.. but she wouldn't. So i guess we'll find out tomorrow.....
Better go, Archie is bored of his peice of paper (i know, how ungrateful...)

    Have a good Sunday...

PS Alison: You are such a kind, beautiful person.... Love you! x

    Hi Girls,

    How is everyone today?

Hi Kymmy - Thank you Kymmy, love you too xx

FM - I just tried to join Weight Watchers online (I'm a lifetime member) and it says I can't as I don't have enough weight to lose, WTF!!!! I'm currently 6 kgs heavier than my pre pregnancy weight and 8 kgs heavier than my goal weight when I did it a few years ago!!!! Honestly girls, I finally bite the bullet to do something - WW will motivate me - and I hit a brickwall. I've emailed them asking why. I am going for a walk this arvo with my friend and her bub but I refuse to pull on these tight shorts and wear my husband's t-shirts to hide my fat guts any more, it's disgusting and about time I stopped using the "I just had a baby" excuse. I'm 5'3" and look revolting when I'm fat and it's making me feel horrible.

Anyway, that's my vent for the day. DH is down at the block for the night finishing off some things down at the holiday house so I'm going for a long walk with a friend. I'm sore from boxing and playing tennis on the Wii yesterday, that's how unfit I am. I just can't stop eating crap, the only time I don't is when I'm out at the shops but then I spend money so that's just as bad! lol Amelia is having a nap finally, she's been a little whiney today and her first two naps were shorter than usual. I think her teeth are really bothering her these last 24 hours, poor bubby.

Hope everyone else has had a lovely weekend. xx

YESSSSS Ali! The 12 weeks Challenge! Join Mel & I! I want to get back into my Size 6's - I have refused to buy new clothes ever since Cruz was born as I've had it in my head I'll be back in all my 6's "soon" and if I go and buy bigger clothes that will be "accepting" it - But I've been onthat horse for a while now so it's time to bloody do something! I hear ya!!

Argh, once again, am being summoned... DH needs me to grab Cruz out of the bath for him, they've been in there for about 40 mins and I snuck onto BB for a sec after puting dinner on.. Will be back tomorrow! Love you all!! xx

Alicia, I've never been a size 6, I'd be happy to be a size 10-12 instead of a tight 12!

I really want to tone up! Has everyone else noticed that they have less muscle tone now?I hate my bum, it used to be perky
Archie is being really whingy too. His teeth are so close to popping, I can see them through his gums. The last two nights he hasn't slept well either so I think it definately must be his toofy pegs. I was just getting a bit frustrated with him as he was being all clingy and grumpy, then I had a feel of his gums and I felt bad so we went for a stroll outside and he had a suck on a plum.. He likes plums. The pediatrician said I should strart him on solids but I don't want to yet, I think it's too soon, but I have let him have a suck on a plum or kiwifruit.
I put some things on eBay for sale!! I'm so excited! Brit wanted me to sell some books for her and they already have one bid so she is sooo excited!! Think we have a new addiction!! (don't worry Telly and Mel, you're not the only ones - hey at least it is better than crack... Hahaha)
Archie has finally gone to sleep so I'd better go do something exciting like washing or dishes........ Ha!
    Love you all x

what is your favourite baby carrier??

sorry to jump in on this but we have an ergo carrier and its fabulous. strap is really low across your hips and thats where you take the weight. no strain at all on your shoulders either. and very adjustable so either dh or i can wear it. a bit big for tully to wear though- he tried to carry his baby in it before harper was born! oh, and i can carry tully in it if i want too. on your back for bigger ones is so good x

Oh I forgot to ask you Mel, what is your favourite baby carrier??
Just a few At the moment, I have a Close Carrier, a Ergo, a Mei Tai and a Hot Sling.. hahahahaah!!! Plus, I'm going to buy a BabyHawk Oh Snap.

For the age that Eden is now - I prefer the Ergo, however the standard one over the Sport (even though I have the sport) because I find it easier to get on by myself. The sport one has thinner material on the arms so they seem to twist and I crack the poos when trying to get it on.. rofl...

Mei Tai's are really supportive as well, but I have trouble with tieing them (I'm a doofus) and they seem to dig into my fat chunks a bit too much for my liking.

Close Carrier is awesome, but Eden is getting too long for it in the body - and I only have a short midsection so her head is right under my chin at the moment - not comfy. But certainly is really comfy if you have the body for it.

I just got the hot sling - so still reserving my judgement on that one. Oh, but the babyhawk looks farrrrkin hot, so I can't wait till I get that one.
