Alicia - Would I be able to tag your mothers day photos on FB in my DHs name??? hahahaha! I'd like for him to see how a mothers day SHOULD BE!!! OMG your DH is sooo super sweet! I dont think i've ever had a mothers day that special! Yesterday was theo's baptism, and ended up looking after the kids all day while he got drunk with the other men! grr! And then when Theo FINALLY went to sleep i had to go the bottle-o to get him some more scotch! argh! ofcorse by the time i got back, theo was awake again.... So yes... not happy with him at the moment!
Natty - Well last night i was talking to DH about you and violet (haha, told you i always talk about you guys!), I told him you were very much like me, boobie for bed, belly sleeper. And now V is doing AWESOME with her sleep after the advice you recieved. So we decided to give it a go today! I had a visitor over morning tea, so i was already a bit behind, but the time she left theo was well and truly cranky and ready for sleep time. I put him in the cot on his belly and started patting his bum, which was a NIGHTMARE! He was CONSTANTLY on his hands and knees trying to move away from me. So i put him on his side, and held him in that position (much to his disgust) while patting his bum. He cried, and cried. I cried a little then DD started crying (told you guys earlier she freaks out when he's crying, its very sweet). Every time he'd start to get drifty, DD would start crying again... and wake him up! I kept singing my song to him (a song i sing to both of them, my mum used to sing it to me, and now DD even sings it to DS! hehe!) and he FINALLY FELL ASLEEP!! OMG!!! 28 minutes it took.
but get this... HE THEN SLEPT FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!!!!!!! HOLY COW! He is normally a 20 minute sleeper... 30 minutes if i'm lucky! Still in shock!!!!
So just now, he starts yawning... Im getting slightly anxious.. thinking i don't want to do this again. I'll just give it a little go and see what happens. Put him in his cot, on his side, start patting his bum. Not one cry noise comes out of his mouth.. he snuggled up to his taggie blanket, AND WENTTO SLEEP!!!!!!!!!! AL:KFJ:LDSGJS:LKJ~!!!!!!! WTF!?! It took 4 minutes worth of patting! I stopped, he rolled onto his belly, had a little grizzle, so i quickly patted again, and about 20 seconds later he is zzzZZZZzzz !! Don't want to count my eggs before they hatch.. but this has really surprised me... See how i go tonight for the big sleep tho.

I did a sneeky weigh this morning (my weigh in day is wednesday night), and i've lost 900g, but will let you know the official number on weds. I bought a size 14 pair of jeans on saturday! Super chuffed with that! Haven't been a size 14 since I was.. 19? i guess! woop!

AFM - Yesterday was theos baptism (alison,anglican is baptise, catholic is christened. no idea what the difference is, im not overly religious either), was a really beauitful day. Will pu some photos up later on, when i get a moment or three. Theo was getting sooo restless tho, he was on the boob alll day poor little fella, was just a bit overwhelming i think. Then by 9pm last night my boobies were running on empty! (another reason why we decided to try your idea natty, give my boobies a rest, hehe). In the afternoon he was pretty much well feral, lol! I had NO idea what his probablem was, then i realised i didn't give him anything for lunch !!! Went upstairs and ccooked upsome zuchini, which he gobbled up quick smart (loves zuchinni ... strange i know). Then around 5pm i went to the supermarketand got a rafferty garden pouch (firstbit of bought food he's had, i've made everything else), and he ate the ENTIRE POUCH!!!! I couldn't believe it!!!! So then all of my rellies start at me.... I really should be feeding him more, he's a really big baby telina, he needs his food, blah blah.. So yes.. As of today i've decided to start 3 meals a day (was only doing 2, some days only 1 meal).. And just feed him until he refuses ( i was only giving him 2 tablespoons per feed). Is any one else doing this yet???? I feel like im rushing him... ....
