Ali: Archie has been doing the exact same thing! He has been doing gross poos and is a little off his food. I definately think it sounds like teething. If she goes completely off her food and throws up or has watery poo then i would be worried about gastro. This teething caper sucks! Archie has been okay the last few days but was waking up crying all the time and has been sucking on his fist all day long! Our poor lil bubbas If only they could talk to us! I've been using Brauer Teething Relief and Rescue Remedy and i honestly find that it works. I tried panadol the other night and it didn't give him any more relief than the other stuff. Give Amelia a big cuddle xx

Telly: Poor bubba Feo it is so horrble isn't it? Yay on the baptism! I've never heard that they parents can also be godparents.. mind you i've never looked into it! What a nice day to have it too, Mothers day.

Shayna: Abbey is not falling behind. I saw a baby that was 12 months old the other day and not crawling yet and the mum had had him checked by the doc and there is nothing wrong with him, he just didn't find the need to crawl yet. Abbey is probably just happy rolling and screaming for now .... just kidding! But i wouldn't have even known Archie could sit, one day i just thought i'd try and he could do it and i was kinda shocked.. but he isn't that great on his tummy and is definately nowhere near crawling!
Jolly jumpers are awesome hey? But i can't seem to get Archie at the right height in his, he always ends up spinning around in a circle (involuntarily! haha) so i don't know what i'm doing wrong! He has a Jumperoo though and LOVES that so we mainly use that.

Sarah: LOVE LOVE LOVE Hennie and Fox! GREAT name! I can't wait to see!!!!

Sorry i have to go! Archie is waking... Hello everyone else.. I'll be back later xxxx

    Hi Ladies!

Shayna, I never intended on having to rock V off either but because of the reflux and her constant screaming it just happened, She used to fall asleep mid scream lol...Now it is a lot better in the short time I have been putting her in her bed she seems to be at an age where she knows Im in the room with her and its me patting her bum but I just cant pick her up. (I do if she is losing it bad though). V starts crying at the wrapping stage though its like she is getting pi55ed at me in advance lol. The wierd thing is that now she sucks on a dummy like theres no tomorrow but also her feeds are a lot more structured. The lady at Tresillian tols me to disassociate the boob with sleeping so now I feed her when she wakes up then she plays then when she starts getting shirty I wrap her and put her in bed with the dummy. She wont take it at first and bites it so it shoots across the cot then gets pi55ed that its gone lol. She usually has a bit of a crack at that point and I leave her about a minute till she is really cranky then I give it back to her and no way will she try that again Then she is asleep within a couple of minutes... haha theres a lot more to it I try putting her on her belly or side as she prefers her belly..Sometimes

BLAH How long was that! Does that sound about right to you who put theres in awake?

oh no V is awake thats the end of the peace and quiet lol

    Hi Girls,

I've bitten off a bit more than I can chew it seems, trying to keep up with 2 BB threads, plus the 12 week challenge one!

Natty - I put Ryan down when he's looking sleepy but still awake, with no dramas. At night he was falling asleep during the last feed, but I've been trying to keep him awake (tickling his feet) long enough to get him to bed first. No-Cry Sleep Solution Elizabeth Pantley has heaps of tips on putting them down still awake.

Alison - Oh dear, that does sound like Gastro! I hope Amelia's feeling better soon. You're doing all the right things. It's so hard when our bub's are sick I keep forgetting to post something the MACH nurse told me when Craig kept rolling over at night and waking to be rolled back. She said that he was old enough to turn his head and wouldn't suffocate, so leave him like that. And funny enough, he stopped crying that night after we saw her. We were waking him by repositioning him through the night. I just leave Ryan now.

Kym - Poor Archie! Good to knew the Brauers Teething Relief works.

Tel - That's great about Theo's baptism! I also didn't know parents could be godparents to their own kids. Poor Theo. Ear infections are the absolute worst and teething is pretty awful too, poor bunny.

Mel - Slap me! I just noticed I referred to Aricyn as 'she' Hope your day got better.

Shayna - Boo! Damn AF. Why can't she stay away forever? OK, I know the answer to that question, but you KWIM How did Abbey go with solids today? She's not behind, Ryan's still only rolling around and can't sit up on his own. Hope Abbey settles back in to sleeping through.

Madame - I love the business name! Wow, you must be flat out. Too much TV watching going on here too. We're off to the Zoo tomorrow to avoid the TV. If we're at home Craig will just keep asking for shows and he can use the remote too to turn it on.

Hi to any other buddies out there reading.

Not much going on here. Craig's back to taking himself to the potty and practically putting himself to bed now, no more toddler tantrums at bedtime. Huge difference to the start of the month! Just in time for Ryan to start getting his first tooth (wish it would hurry up!). My New Year's Resolution is out of the way, the scales said 79.8kg this morning! I haven't been under 80kg since my wedding 5 years ago. Then the Wii Fit said my BMI was 'Ideal' instead of 'Overweight', so I'm happy happy happy and don't care how saggy baggy and wrinkly I look. Damn it, I even bought mascara today. I haven't worn mascara for 6 months! Now all I need is a haircut and colour. I've promised myself some new clothes if I shift another 5kg.

    Hi Girls!

Hi Kymmy - WOW CONGRATULATIONS OMG! Don't worry, you've done it before you'll be great, how lovely to have them close together, I'd consider it if it wasn't for the c-section, I have to wait until Amelia is at least 8 months old before I get pregnant, doctors orders lol. We'll start trying at the end of year and hope I fall straight away (fingers crossed). My sister's kids are 12 months apart (by one week), it was tough at first but they're 16 and 17 now (boy and girl) and they are so close, it's really lovely to watch. She didn't have a lot of support from her husband back then either which you have so you'll be fine mate, well done, I'm super happy for you. Like Natty said though, you can't leave our thread, we'll just stalk you on FB - why not, others seem to do a good job of it

Hi Suz - now you know how I feel! I've been on the Nov and Dec threads since finding out I was pregnant ha ha - it's hard at times. Sometimes I have to admit I do a "cut and paste" of the blurb about myself, I don't always have the time or energy to retype the same things lol. Well done on your weight loss, you are doing so fab, you go girl! I haven't done any exercise this week as Amelia's been ill and then I was ill myself yesterday. Although I didn't eat at all yesterday and spent half the day on the loo so did lose a little weight. I reckon by Monday it will all be back on though, I'm really hungry now making up for lost time lol! I feel crap that I didn't get any proper exercise in though but couldn't be helped.

Hi Everyone else, how are we all?

AFM - well, I've just had the sh*ttiest week, Amelia has been so ill with this stomach bug and then yesterday I got it - luckily it passed quite quickly but I felt like death yesterday and had to try and look after Millie while DH was at work. I asked him to come home early and he said yes, he got home at 4.00 pm WTF!! 2 days before that he took the day off to go fishing with his dad, grrrr. Mum came over to help me with Amelia Thursday and I just phoned her and unfortunately she's now got it and I feel so bad. Worse is she's been staying at my sister's this week (she went back down south yesterday) so I am now worried she's passed it onto her family, I rang this morning, so far so good. DH's mum had it, DH's sister in law had it - it was her little boy who started it grrr - and now my mum. DH's dad and brother didn't get it and DH said he's been fine, felt a bit off earlier in the week but otherwise ok (touch wood). Honestly, if we hadn't of stayed with them last weekend down south none of this would've happened. I know it will eventually but I was so worried about Amelia, today so far is the first day I think she's been ok - she had a pooey nappy at 6.00 am so I changed her but she hasn't had any since, I've been changing her nappy every hour the last 4 days! She's been taking water and having her milk since yesterday fully again so I think she's over it now - she was sleeping so much in the day but restless at night, our routine has gone completely out the window. I hope she goes back when she's completely well again, poor petal. I failed the test on coping with a sick baby, Thursday night I just burst into tears and couldn't stop - hence why mum came over because DH was at indoor cricket. I was just worried and angry.......I tried getting her into the doc but they're full until next week and because she seems better today I thought I'd leave it. Everyone has told me there's nothing they will be able to do anyway and to just keep up her fluids. I didn't expect her to be ill for 4 days though. Mum said it's good for them to be exposed anyway so they can build up an immunity but still, not nice....this is one of the reasons I'm concerned about daycare but you can't keep them locked up forever hey!

Anyway, I've gone on and on, best go do some cleaning up, I've done nothing all week and the house looks like a bomb has hit it. I tell you what though girls, I will never take Amelia being well again for granted, it's killed me seeing her so ill.
