The Bumbo is great! So helpful for getting things done around the house. I've taken to cooking or baking and talking to E like he is the studio audience for a cooking show while he sits in the Bumbo on the kitchen table. And even eating breakfast at the table with him next to me!

As for dogs - at first I was always making sure dog and baby were never alone together and it was such a pain. Now I will go up to five - ten mins where I have a shower and the dogs and baby are all together. I probably shouldn't but it was just impossible otherwise. I guess there is the small chance that the dogs could bite or attack Elliott although so far I've seen no aggression from them toward him. If anything they steer clear - although every now and then they like to lick his head, or his arms. But I don't think I would recommend leaving them alone cause I don't know your dog! Maybe I should even be bringing the dog with me into the bathroom and closing the door so that I know they aren't near Elliott. Cause it's too much effort to take E into the bathroom in his rocker while I shower - at least the dogs answer to their names and can run to me!

I don't actually mind the licking stuff - good for the immune system. Elliott goes to the dog park with me and we sit on a chair above the dogs watching them all but sometimes I'm not quick enough and he'll get covered in dog slobber when an over enthusiastic big dog bounds up to us. I figure I'll just have to worm him and myself!! And give us a bath more than once a week if we go to the dog park!!! I usually only bathe Elliott when he smells or gets really dirty since he has sensitive skin.
