Hollye - I didn't realise you were back at work too. How are you finding the juggle? Have you been back long? Does Mia stay with your DF?
Olive is still having 2-3 bottles most days. Sometimes it's more like 1 and a half and then she has bottle fiend days where she gutses the lot. I have tried just giving water and watered down formula when she wakes between 4-6am but she totally refuses and will not settle no matter what I do and with work I need sleep so it's easier just to give milk I am thinking I will start to just give her a small bottle and see if I can wean her off them that way.
hj - Olive now weighs 10.95kgs. I'm trying to fatten her up while losing weight myself. I'm back doing weight watchers which sucks but I am really trying to stick with it.
Oh and I asked this last time but does anyone have plans of another bub???
Yeah been back since about October last year. Lucky I dont start till 6pm and DF finishes work at 5pm (ish) so he just looks after her. I hate it.. but we trying to save for a house, so the money is coming in handy. So I must push on
Mia weigh's 10.7-10.8kg (it fluctuates lol)...
I have the sorest shoulder.. i have to stop resting my arm on the window when im driving!! random thing to say, i know lol
It seems like forever since I have posted in this thread, I have been slack. Hope you and your bubbas (well not really bubbas anymore) are doing well. It seems to have been very quiet in here anyway.
Lara and I are doing well. Some of you may know but for those who don't, I am pregnant again. 18 wks now. As you know I wasn't really supposed to have anymore kids due to my uterus tearing with Lara but this baby was a bit of an oopsie. The obs have said I will be fine as long as I don't labour. I am due on the 22nd of July but have my caesar booked for the 5th of July at 37 wks + 4 days. I am still nervous that I will go into labour coz with both DD1 and Lara I went into labour naturally at 37 wks. I have my 20 wk scan in 11 days. We found out the sex with both our girls but I would really like a surprise this time. I just hope I don't cave in and find out.
Gotta go, can't wait to hear how you're all doing!
wow Leigh, i dont think i did know.. so congrats! Bit scary about the uterus thing, I hope everything works out fine. Just take it easy ok Yeah i would love a suprise next bubba but i dont think i will be able to wait that long lol
Thanks girls. Hollye, I noticed your signiture said that too. Good luck for ttc if you have started. My fingers are x'd it wont take too long to fall pregnant.
Yeah its true, we are trying. Not getting anywhere. AS i have PCOS, i havent had a period since early November so im currently seeing an accupuncturist to see if it helps. My second appointment with them is tomorrow. Anyone who is on my FB, please don't mention any of this, thanks
Im not TTC any time soon - im actually lost as to when to try now that i have started Uni! need to think what is good for Miss B, myself and study!
CW - Miss B is in occassionaly family day care only 2-3hrs occassionally once a week - the other times FIL is looking after her! which is good and thats not very often either - helps having a DH who is a shift worker!
Well Miss B is soooo much the toddler now! she sleeps in a big girl bed - which has been a real sucess, talks so much and climbs and is into everything!
To all those mummy's expecting - do you know what you are having?
hj - I might have missed it but what are you studying?
I'm on my lunch break right now but man what a crappy morning!!! I was up half the night and have been up, up since 5 so will be a long day until I knock off at 6. I got a flat tyre on the way to FDC. My mobile ran out of battery so had to use carers phone then give notice that I am changing carers which was really hard as this carer has had Olive since 6mths. Then I left a screaming Olive only to get to the top of the driveway and realise that I had left my keys in her daycare bag so had to go back.
arrggg ok sorry vent over.
Hollye I hope things get better with the TTC... I have PCOS was on fertility meds with Ben and Jorda and took 1 month with this bubba,, so very lucky. I hope it all works out soon for you!
Crystal I hope things get better there as well.
HJ well done starting uni very exciting.. How are you finding the work load and who has Bianca when you are at uni?
Leigh hope things are going along well for you!
16 weeks.. might start baby move soon.. we will see.. I have another appointment tomorrow so fun funfun!
CW - i am studying Bachelor of Midwifery! and i love it! very full on tho!
didi - it is all starting to get quite hard now - had a break down on saturday - i think im going to have to stop work! FIL looks after B occassionally 1 day a week when we need someone to look after her for a full day and i have a day care mum who looks after her occassionaly for 2-3 hrs 1 day a week! but its not every week that she needs FIL or day care mum - most of the time DH looks after her cause he is a shift worker so has more days to do so! the workload is getting very full on!
i got my results back for my 1st exam and i got....... 90% guess thats pretty good hey!
How are all the preggy mums going?
Is anyone elses toddler (yes toddler they are no longer babies ) playing up and being really difficult to handle of a night time? Miss B is up 100 times a night - and is refusing to go back to sleep, majorly kicks and screams! and than during the day she is either getting up to no good or is being majorly clingy and i mean majorly clingy!
Im not sure if this has to do with me being at uni, teething, or just a stage! but its a very testing time!
hj - I was contemplating continuing my study this yr but decided not to, it sounds really full on. Congrats on the test result though and good luck. Is it a 4 yr course?
Olive has actually been really good lately as she is basically using her words for everything now. If she doesn't like something or wants something she is generally able to tell us now which I have to say is fantastic and minimises conflict. She can be strong willed and is still waking up 1-2 times a night but in general i'm just loving being a mum right now. So much so that we have started TTC so fingers crossed that we fall pregnant as quickly as last time.
I found out that i've had Glandular Fever though which may explain why I have been so tired over the past few months so I have to dose up on vitamins and go to bed earlier and hope that my immune system recovers quickly.
We went to Sydney for a holiday and did lots of shopping. Anyone else addicted to baby clothes shopping???
HJ - good work with the result from your exam! welldone AS for Mia playing up... nah shes not really. I havent had to get up to Mia overnight for... about 10 months, give or take? So hopefully its just a phase and she will get out of it quick smart. Ide say shes just feeling a little "de-tatched" from you now your away at uni all the time. Seems she gets to see you through the night, so shes making the most of it
AFM - everythings good here. TTC is sort of the last thing on my mind atm while i concentrate on my health. I joined weight watchers and had my first weigh in lastnight and i lost 5 kilos in one week! yes thats right!! one week! over the moon! totally wasnt expecting it.
Mia is so big now. She amazes me every day. Shes 11kg exactly now @ 17 months old. She has her chicken pox needle in a month (yay not)...
End of this week, no more bottles. Im packing them away and shes going on full cows milk, so no more formula aswell... yay! and she has 7 teeth
Though i would quickly pop in and let you all know im pregnant!
Totally not planned and a big surprise!
DH and i haven't dtd for a while and the one time, yes the ONE time we do it... BINGO! going by last period im meant to be 7wks - but from scan today im 8wks! so OB said i must of had a shorter cycle (not normal for me) and if i hadn't of had that shorter cycle than we might not of fallen preg - so i guess this little one is meant to be!
So far all is well - no need for progesterone injections - and for past few weeks i have had pretty bad MS! i was 10days late before i even noticed and did a test! BIG SHOCK!
But Miss B is going to be a big sister!!!!
