Hi Girls,
Sorry i haven't been posting much. The sad fact is a person has been reading all my posts. I know its a public forum, but to sneakily see what im writting it peaved me off!! I actually dleted her from my FB, but grrrrr started a big mellow drama. Honestly i thought i left high school yrs ago.
My mum is still in limbo land :( She is waiting to see a professor now. Seems she has a breast diease and they are worried about one lump, it actually lights the screen up when she has a scan. They can't do a biopsy cause of the diease, which is pretty stupid if you ask me. So still waiting :wall:
Thanks girls, yes seems my sweet angel has been visting i think. First her mobile (which i have over evangelines cot) it went off at 3am that morning. Might add its the wind up one, so was a bit freaky. Then the bubbles later that night, hahah that really did crack me up!!!
Ok so for food. Miss Evangeline has now been on solids for 2 and bit wks  She LOVES IT!! hahah when i put the spoon in her mouth, she goes "mmmm, numnumnum" lol Its the cutest thing. I was going to wait, but she was 4 and 1/2 mths old when i started, and opened her mouth never spat it out, so i guess she was def ready.
Tammie - woohoo Eli is thriving!! How was the movie, i want to see it??
Rach - ohhh holidays FUN :D
Kass - awwww i know what you mean about the scent. Sometimes i get the same thing, though if i haven't smelt it in a while, i get her cuddle bear and smell it - it still smells like her, im refusing to wash it!!
Stevie - aww thank you. Yes very proud of missy. I swear each day she is getting more cuter, if thats at all possible lol. Though she is starting to resemble Lilli alot now to. I put a pic up on FB last night.
Liz - Hey hun, hope all is well with you and your sweet little man
OK off to bake some korkers, lol. Im doing some itty bitty ones soon on snap clips, for bubbys that have hardly any hair.
-
Thanks girls for the vote of confidence with solids - i know noone meant anything mean etc... as we have all said, we each need to do what works for us and our bubs. :)
Rach - i totally agree about the high school thing.... i have a different situation where that is relevant but i am so over people cutting other ppl down or calling etc to tell you something that is really irrelevant when you know they are only doing it for the attention and to get the whole 'poor you' reaction!
Nobody should take offence to that because it is not directed to anyone in here... i love that we vent to eachother because that it what this is for. It is actually based on someone who works for my DH and calls us (repeatedly i might add) to tell us useless crap/info about why she might be tired at work the next day or something. I get so annoyed about it, it is nothing but attention seeking.
Now that i have vented about this person - i hope everyone totally understands that i love our vents and hearing about issues we all have. I feel like none of us whinge, or expect copious amounts of sympathy, we put stuff here so that we can all relate and feel better about difficult things we are going through.
I feel better!
Hi everyone i will come back when i am in a better frame of mind and post properly!
xx.

ok girls Luke had his needles tuesday.. he is normally a once aday pooper maybe 2 times well since tuesday he has gone upwards of 5-6 times, last night he had a small amount of mucousy blood in his poo, his poos are now very liquidy versus ssoft icecream texture (sorry for visual) could this be because of needles or something else ... he went a 3 times sat/sun but they were normal texture as such.. he seems happy enough I do think he is teething as well.. no teeth yet but heaps of drool and he can't chew on anything enough everything is being chewed and chewed
so now that I have got it out in writing sound like nothing *sigh* so do you reckon just watch him and if he seems to be unwell pop up to hospital on weekend or what ??? we have one dr and they close over weekend
-
Rach, it doesn't matter if it does turn out to be nothing - sometimes it just feels better and makes it easier to think through when you say it or get it out.
It's obviously unusual for him to poo like that but provided he is content and not running temp etc I prob wouldn't worry too much about it.
In saying that, Eli had his needles on Tuesday and we didn't really have any symptoms like that. He was sookie and grizzly for the day but nothing else.
If it were me, i would prob just keep an eye on Luke and if he starts to get feverish or more unsettled than usual take him to a dr. I must admit i don't worry too much about pooing/frequency or colour... i figure Eli will let me know when there is something wrong too by changes in his actions/behaviour (plus Eli only poos once every few days).
Hope it's all ok and Luke returns to his usual self shortly!
xx.

thanks Tam, he was very out of soughts yesterday screamed all morning where he would normally go down for a nap within a 1 1/2hr of gettign up he didn't go down till over 3 hrs for half of that he screamed or fussed... then he was fine as long as I was standing holding him, then he screamed again but then after his arvie nap he was fine again he slept great last night abotu 10hrs but from when he woke at 4.40am till he went back down at 6.10am we had 4 poo'y nappies *sigh* very watery ... I think I iwill see how he goes today if I need to go to hopspital I will *sigh*
-
Good luck Rach - hope everything is ok and you don't need to make the trip!

been awhile since i posted, computer still isnt fixed.. surprise!!
Rach75: if it were me and i seen blood in Alissas poo i would probably go to the doctors, but i freak out over the tiniest thing, taking her to the drs everytime she has something small wrong (and its always been nothing, but my dr is used to me now lol)
Tammie: ive started Miss A on solids too, ive tried her a few different times over the last few weeks and she didnt seem overly insterested, but the last few days she's a hoover, lol. i was just using raffertys garden rice cereal with formula (or ebm up until i stopped bfing) but she seemed interested but i felt bad for her for it being so tasteless, so i brought some raffertys garden pouches, the one of been using is "sweet potato, apple and carrot" (on the packet it say sthat NOTHING else is added) and she LOVES it, i do up 3 full teaspoons of dry cereal and she eats it all looking for more, but i just give her a bottle after, i dont want to make her sick but giving her too much straight away. im not a fan of using store brought stuff, but i didnt know what else to do to make the rice ceral taste better, in a week or so im gonna try her on some veges, that i cook and im hoping that i can maintain all her food being home made (or most of) esp since im going to work very soon.
Fi: havent heard from you in awhile, i hope Leila is well and i hope your not working too hard
:hello: to everyone else, sorry to the personals ive missed, ive been keeping up as best i can but its all a bit full on here atm
the ILs have booked a holiday at a motel on the gold coast next week and have asked for Alissa and i to join them, part of me wants to go but part of me feels like its such a long time (monday til friday) ill be stuck on the gold coast with them with no way back, i wont even have my car, but i know how much they want us to come (jons at work and has said i can do what i want but he wants me to go to get me out of the house) they love spending time with Alissa and i feel now that i cant say no, lol. but i guess it ont be so bad, they told me they're gonna take Alissa and kick me out of the room so i can have some me time (theres pools, and a gyma nd games room at this place) so i shouldnt complaina and be a bit more grateful hey lol.
anyway ive gotta try and get everything organinsed and clean before i go coz jon will get back before i do. im gonna miss my MG which im a bit disappointed about but i spose there'll be plenty more :)
xx

well he seems fine today the problem here we have one dr and its really hard to get in so I dont liek wasting their time as such....
raffertys is great stuff Stevie I love thats it nothing added so convenient too, grab a pouch throw in nanppy bag and out the door no worrying about temp or refridgeration etc... Jack used to drink the fruti ones like popper when he was 2
when would you be on the GC... I am down in brisbane 19-23 march now as well  as the 19-24th april
-
rach, its good to hear that Luke is doign better. i forget one of our doctors works weekends and assume that most do, do forgive me.
the raffertys garden stuff is awesome, she absolutely loves it and i dont feel THAT bad about givng it to her. do you know if you can freeze it in ice cube trays? she's not eating a whole pouch in the 2 days that you have to use it in (at the moment im just squirting a small amount in her rice cereal to give it some flavour) and i dont like wasting stuff, but if i cant freeze it its all good, they're only $1.50 each.
she's so funny, she hoovers what i make her (and i think i make quite alot for someone who has only just started eating- but she loves it) and then when she's finished she starts looking for more. i either distract her (go change her bum if she needs it, go for a walk around) or give her a bottle, i dont wanna make her sick. Am i doing the right thing? o should i be making her more? my girlfriends baby is 2 months older, he's been on solids for quite awhile and the doctor has told her to feed her baby until he doesnt want any anymore, if he's finished and looking for more, make more. but he's a little underweight. he's longer than Alissa but much MUCH skinnier than her, and she's quite small anyway i rekon (tho since starting her on formula full time ive noticed she's put on a little weight) i honestly think tho that my milk wasnt enough and thats why she was abit stroppy towards the end.. coz she's all good now :) which is the main thing i spose.
Il be on the gold coast from the 8th to the 12th... we'll be able to catch up one of these days :)
Also just a question (one of you ladies migth know) ive only just finshed bfing about 2 days ago, but had a serious drop in my supply for about 2 weeks and was only getting like one feed a day. when should i be seeing AF? does it vary alot? or should i expect to get a visit in the next month or so? periods just make it all feel so final and over.. f that makes sense lol
:hello: to all my lovely ladies and bubsies xx
-
at 4 mths i would only be giving small amounts and if she wants me a bottle definatly, I'm not sure about freezing but it can't hurt to try some, I'd be getting some of those trays with lids you can pick them up from big w quite cheap
I'm not down brisbane when your on GC bugger, bugger ... will try to work something out when I come down in April, am going to make jase let me do a lot of driving when we go down in 2 weeks so I might feel confident enough to try and meet up somewhere up your way when I am there is april :) shall keeep you in loop
-
hi everyone :hello: sorry i have been mia i went away for a week with work - took DH & leila with me and it was to my home town so basically a free trip home for all of us and a great opportunity to show leila off to everyone. i only had a little bit of work to do so it was nice.
have been feeling like i'm going to have a break down for the past few weeks, on and off. at the moment i feel pretty good and positive but i would say the past month or so has been a huge struggle. I was sick for about 2 weeks which didn't help. my mum thinks i have PND which is awful because i don't want my mum to think that i am not coping. i think i am ok it's just tough having no support and being back at work but i think DH is starting to realise that i need more help and is putting in more effort.
good to see a bit of debate over the solids! i'm sitting on the fence, i really don't know when i will start leila. At the moment she is growing well and very happy and healthy so i see no need to start giving her anything other than my breast milk but i guess once I start to see some signs of her wanting something extra i will start her on some solids, probably wont be for a few weeks though. it's great to hear what everyone else is doing though as it will be very helpful to reference this when i do start leila on solids.
Leila is doing superbly well now that she has recovered from her cold. she spends most days amusing herslef by babbling, squealing and blowing raspberries - so cute! she can roll from side to side but still can't roll over completely. she can almost sit up though! the last few days she's been sitting unsupported for a few seconds maybe up to about 30 seconds or so and she thinks she is so clever a few times she's started to topple over then straightened herself up again which i thought was very impressive. I got her weighed & measured the other day she is 6.5kg and 63cm long so tracking very well and the nurse thinks she's just wonderful.
Rach75 I hope luke is ok now.
Stevie, it might be nice to go on holidays with the il's. I know you will be stuck there but like they said you will get plenty of time to yourself to just relax and enjoy yourself. as for AF i have no idea, sorry but i'm guessing it might not be too far away. I acutally have a similar question for the girls on here...
regarding AF - I am exclusively BF and on the mini pill and I have AF... for the second time! is this normal? When i started the mini pill i had a lot of spotting then i thought it turned into AF then nothing for several weeks and now AF. I haven't missed any pills, i did take one late the other day (still within 3 hours though which is what the leaflet says). seems like the mini pill is really not working for me as i thought things would of settled down by now.
Rach2281  that everything turns out ok for your mum
hi to everyone else

Well this is just a quick post from me so i will skip the personals for the moment... just wanted to add to the discussion re solids.
I love Rafferty's! I was going to make my own pureed vege and fruit but when i was looking at these i decided it was far less time consuming and given you get a few feeds out of it i decided it was still reasonably cost effective.
I had just been giving Eli the Rafferty's by itself for the first few days and had not thought of adding it to Farex. I have tried that now though and Eli loves that too. I use a desert spoon of farex with some water and rafferty's fruit or vege mix (we have tried about 4 of them and he loves them all, even the spinach one). If he is still hungry after this i give him some rafferty's by itself.
I found that because the Rafferty's is ok in the fridge for 48 hours after opening i could use it for 3 feeds (the day it is opened and then the next 2 days after that in the 48 hours). Eli actually eats the whole pouch in this time so that stops me from wasting any.
Stevie, you mentioned that you were concerned miss A would get sick if you gave her more... i had not been aware that they would get sick (E hasn't so far and he eats like an elephant)... have you found out any more on this?
I have been giving E his solids mid afternoon between feeds. After the solids he has 30ml water with 1/2 tsp of brown sugar in it (helps him poo) and then we have a shower. Then the evening routine begins... basically sleep, play, eat and bed for the night.
Well gtg - bubby is lying on the floor sooking so i am guessing he has rolled over onto his tummy (he can roll back but is too lazy for some reason). LOL.
xx.
-
just a quick reply from me atm, am still on holidays with the ILs (i wont go into itnow, theres not enough time..:( )
Tam: when i said i didnt want tomake Miss A sick, all i ment was i didnt want to over feed her and make her spew lol. She's eating twice a day now, i havent given her the pouch by itself yet (im mixing it with the rice cereal) but have decided for something different i will give it to her just by itself next time (which will be very soon) and see how she takes it. She LOVES eating, i was abit worried at first and felt bad aqt first for feeding her this early bvut i figure if she didnt want it she wouldnt eat it (its only been this past few days/week) that she has actually shown real interest in eating and thats why ive kept it upveryday.
anyway my computer time isa bout to run out
ill come back later when i have some more coins lol and feel you all in.
-
wow its super quiet in here atm.. hope everyone is ok.
My GC trip was ok, i had fun, was good to get home.
Alissa is doing great, she's rolling over and is all smileslately.. which is good.
Am back t work in 2 weeks.. should be fun.
Not much else is news here.
:hello: to everyone

Hello beautiful ladies!
I have a baby who sleeps 1 hr at a time so finding it hard to jump on here! But I really do miss you all!
Solids:( are started. I dont believe before 6months is great, their little insides cant take it. In saying that Lucy has started!!!! Still breastfeeding, that wont stop for a looooooooooooonnnnggg time yet;)
Annabelle 1st tried at 6months but didn't really eat solids till 10months sooooo I was thrown by Lucy eating so well:(
Mchn suggested it, I giggled at her, buuut she was correct!
I also think Lucy is full on teething! No sleep, sad lots etc nooooooooo teething is HELL!
How all is well, those going back to work:o you're gamer then me! Id be ****ting myself! haha
What did you ladies do before having babies?
Rach2281- How's your mum?
fi- How do you go breastfeeding while working?
-
Kass: its not soo much a "being game enoigh to go back to work" lol its somethign we have to do and is unavoidable :( trust me theres nothing i want more in this world than to be a SAHM, but its not gonna happen with this baby :( (hopefully by the next one we'll be a little more financially able to)
in saying that im lookng forward to working, got to look at the positive stuff, i LOVE the girls i work with and its gonna be good to break up the days plus DD will love spending time with Nan and Gramps and vice versa.
Alissa is so soo sooky :( i think she is teething too.. but i cant see anything which doesnt mean they arent there i know, her others happened soo fast i wasnt even ready for it lol.
BVut she's a little off her food ( i still dont do full on solids yet) once a day maybe sometimes not even. depending on her mood usually.
Hope everyone is good :)

Breaks my heart thinking you really want to stay home with your princess. I really didn't mean to make you feel bad:(
Having time with her grand parents is AMAZINGLY great for her:) My grandparents pretty much raised me as my parents worked sooooooo much. haha I had a french accent as my grandmother tought me how to speak, and she's french haha
Whats the job you'll be going back to? Full time?
-
Hi Girls
It's nice to have some activity in here again!
Sounds like there's a lot of teething going on at the moment  Leila is cutting her first tooth at the moment and she's been rather sooky so I feel for you all.
Stevie, glad you are feeling positive about going back to work. I feel for you though, I have really struggled. Mind you I think I just went back to too early. I don't know why I went back so early - a combination of things really. Financial reasons of course but in hindsight I could have stretched my leave out for longer. Because I have always been quite driven I also thought that being a full time SAHM wouldn't agree with me and that I would miss the intellectual stimulation of work and adult company. It's almost funny to think that that's how my mind used to work! Now I'm in a state of almost permanent conflict and am struggling to do everything as well as I would like. It's slowly getting easier though.... slowly slowly
DM I do marketing and corodinate training & development for our national sales force so a bit of a mix of things. Thing is marketing isn't even my bag! I just kind of fell into this job, I have a degree in business with majors in management and human resources and that is where I would rather be so I can see myself looking around for something different in the not too distant future.
Breastfeeding while working is going well. Leila will have 3 bottles while at child care but when i'm at work i'll take 2 lactation breaks and express enough in that time for 3 feeds ready for the next time she goes to child care. Work are happy with this arrangement and its no big deal it only takes me 15-20 minutes to express.
We have started solids too. At first i was a bit unsure and almost gave up on it as I thought she wasn't really into it but then I stopped mixing farex in with everything and realised she actually loves food - just hates farex!
Leila is almost crawling! she gets up on her knees and rocks herself backwards & forwards and sometimes moves backwards. She sits up quite well now too so she is doing really well - very strong and very determined.
Big hello to everyone else, hope you are all well. I look forward to hearing how all the little ones are doing.

sorry I have been MIA....had a ball in brisbane love love Ikea  OH I could have spent a fortune, we will be heading back down to Ikea when our extension is finished going to get the storage system for the kids toys
Luke is now rolling both ways and attempting to crawl well he moves like crazy if anyone wants to see some you tube footage let me know, he is so cute... loves his toys now, is also teething but no teeth yet which is weird for us as jack was onto #3 and #4 by now... well I suppoise Jack had to beat him at something
other than that not much else, getting ready for our big holiday which at one stage looked like it was off but all being well is back on  we head to brisbane on the 17th, jase flies out to melbourne on the 19th and back in on the 22nd depending what time he gets in on the thursday will help us decide whether to hit the road thurs or fri, Dubbo is our first major stop :)
hope to catch up with a few girls in brisbane ABW :)
-
Hi all - been super busy but just popping on.
DS is/has :
* barely rolling, but he is rolling from his back to his side or from his side to his back, which I don't mind
* been on solids since 4 months, but full time since a week before 5 months. His favourite foods have been Apples and Pears and his favourite combo has been Apple and Mango. He doesn't like any vegetables as I've tried a 'Chicken Noodle and Veggie' jar and he refused to eat it (kept his mouth closed)
* got the tip of a tooth at the front of his mouth
* sleeping better (although I'm not) and am afraid that when he starts the full on teething that the good sleeping will be gone
* happily standing up on my legs (with support - still can't do it without right now)
* loving eating his feet!
* plays with himself while changing him
* either laughing, smiling, sulking or crying - never anything in between!
-
Awesome LJ sounds like William is doing really well
-
Fi- Well done still feeding! You make it sound so easy haha. Though I fed/feed my girls I never had a 'freat' supply, just enough to feed them, when they wanted a feed.
Lj- William sounds like he's growing nicely:) Rolling mosre then Lucy! Typical boy not eating his vegies!! haha
My girls arn't good teethers BUT some babies cruze right through it! You may be a lucky one;)
Lucy is growing beautifully :) She's a sooky little mamas girl but I love it haha
Those of you who have me in fb (I think thats everyone) would have seen my photos that I got done. You can see her in those:)
-
:hello: ladies
How are we all? i though that while ihave a spare few minutes i hould probably do a decent post lol.
Fi: so good to hear your bfing while at work is going well, i know that something i worried about before i had to go back, thats actually part of the reason i stopped bfing Leila sounds like a very clever chcken, getting up on her knees like that :) Solids for us is still hit and miss, its a little more fiddley than i expected lol.
LJ:  GO WILLIAM!! he's such a clever lil man!!Its soo good to hear that he;s sleeping better, i know that your still having trouble sleeping but at least you can still rest while he's sleeping
Rach75: Hope you have fun on your holiday, and when the time gets closer and your in brisvegas ill have to see where im at, coz i would really love for us to all meet up
Kass: I have seen your pics and Lucy is gorgeous!! Ilove the lil bows you stick in her hair. Miss A has no hair either lol. i never dress her up tho :( its too hot up here, i put on some nice clothes and then strip her down to her singlet. hehe.
AFM, well as most of you know im back at work. i am seriously LOVING it. and this makes me feel guilty, coz i love my girl and i love being a mum more than anything. At work i get to be 'Stevie' again, and its kinda nice Jon doesnt want me to work, he kept telling me this week when he was home that he wishes that i didnt have to work, he wants me to be able to stay home and be a mum and house wife. but we just cant afford it. But when we have #2 i will hopefully be able to take at least 12 months off to be a mum.. whoknows by then jon might earn enough that i wont need to work at all :) in 12 months this could be a possibility :) Jon said to me yesterdday when i got home from my first day beck, that he didnt think she would be so full on. he said that it wasnt that she was crying or anything but you have o focus 100% attention on her, he said he kept thinking of all these things that he needed to do and that he could be doing if he wasnt watching her. i told hiom now he knows where im coming fro when i tell him that i couldnt get something done, and i really think he understands alot better now. wgich will be really good.
Other than working, everythuing has been pretty borring lol.
Alissa now rolls over so quickly and easy from front to back or back to front, she wriggles herself along the ground, tonight i was heating up some dinner for myself and she was on her play mat, the dogs bed is next to her play matt, and when i walked back into the loungeroom having been gone like 30 seconds (if that( she was up and half in his bed LOL.. she LOVES milo and he's soo good with her. Obviously im still really carefull and dont leave them alone together andall that jazz but its just amazing, you casn see this bond being made between them before our eyes.. its beautiful :)
imust go, i have some bottles to clean, and some fruit to chop up, im going to be tryng Alissa on water melon tomorrow :)
Much love
xx
-
sounds like Miss Alissa is moving and grooving as much as Luke now,
my problem isn't the dog bed but Jacks toys, how do you explain to a 3 yr old all his toys need to be put away when Luke is away *sigh* we have tried to explain that his chubbies ( for thos that dont know a brand of cars and planes) soft rubber ones can stay out but not his matchbox cars *sigh* oh well......
Stevie I think Amber is trying to organise something for when I am downn there which is 20/21 april that I am free free no hubby just me and boys.....I hope we can try to do something...
well poor luke has turned into a spewy baby again 3-4 outfits for him 2-3 tops for me the last few days *sigh* so I have upped the thickener in his formula and today when I am more awake shall pull out the #3 teats and wash/sterilize them and see how he goes with the thicker formula and faster teat........he is teething something shocking his little gums are so white, I know I have Jack but I never knew teething could be so messy  jack seriously would sleep extra and wake up with teeth he never droooled or needed pain releif...
anyway wontbe on much this weekend due to Jase being home so have a good easter be safe on the roads if your travelling
xxx

Good morning ladies,
how are we all? im sorry i havent been on, need i say, my computer still isnt fixed, im on jons but when he's home its really hard to find time to get on the computer. He was supposed to go back on Tuesday, but they didnt book his flight and there was no room on the plane (we found this out after driving ll the way to the airport :sigh: then yesterday they booked him but we were running late and jon had his phone in the boot and we missed their call so missed the plane THANKFULLY he got on ok today, lol. We really need the money atm, so it sucks big time that he missed out on overtime.
We're saving fr our tattoos, he's got his next month and ive got 3 sitting in june/july, i missed out on getting any while i was pg (thats when he got both his arms done ) so i told him he has to let me get whatever i want lol.
ANYWAY..
Kass: a word? OMG im so jealous lol!! thats so cute!! and a first tooth  Go Lucy!!! hehe your girls are so gorgeous Kass!!
Rach75: sorryt o hear the boys have been unwell :( and that you too have been unwell  it sucks being sick!! I know its not the same thing but i just got AF back for the first time since having Miss A and i feel like CRAP!! Well i did the first day i got it, all crampy and gross.. can i ask.. is it normal to bleed heavier than usual on that first AF that you get? i mean its been 5 months (coz i bled for 6 weeks after she was born.. i figured it was normal but its been almost 3 days and im still rather heavy (normally by day 3 its almost gone)Also thats one big lil man you got there :D Alissa was JUST on 6kgs when i got her weighed last thursday lol, she's really tiny tho im guessing i havent looked up the chart.. might do that today soemtimes actually.
Amber: Flynn is crawling? (i know he;s wriggling across the floor at least) thats soo awesome!! I keep saying how i cant wait for Alissa to crawl and everyones liek "you'll be sorry" it makes me so angry that people can be so negative grr.. lol
and :crying: i wont be able to make it to the meet up.. im working but have fun and i really REALLY wish i could be there!!
Rach2281: Miss E is soo darn cute!! she'e belly crawling too? so jealous of you ladies lol.
:hello: LJ, Tam, Fi.. (my sweet, hope everythings been ok?) Shades (i know you read this thread from time to time) and anyone else ive missed, im sorry lol.
AFU.. well we're ok.. working is awesome. Its a bit of a challenge to juggle everything but i honestly think i need that right now. Miss A has now got 4 toothie pegs, she hasnt got her front 2 she has her fangs.. my cute lil vampire baby hehe. the ILs have been great looking after her and im so so grateful for everything that they are doing but its really getting on my nerves lil things that they do. i really want to say something but i cant bring myself to coz they are being so fantastic with her. Jon and i talked about another baby and then all of a sudden he was like "i dont want another one!!" this broke my heart and it really go tot me. i asked himn last night again and just said "were u serious about not having another baby?" he said " a big part of me doesnt want to coz we'll be set back in doing all the things we want to do.. but a nother big part of me really wants to coz another kid like Alissa would be awesome" i told him that i really want to have another baby and that then we have our family made and then once that one is here we can look at doing everything else. he said that if we were to have another that i would be getting pregnant at the end of the year and then he kind of implied that i need to get in shape (which i do) lol coz i plane on being active next pregnancy coz i really think i wont put on so much weight and if i do by staying active im hoping it wont be this hard to get motivtated to get it off
So i think he's considering a baby at the end of the year.. i really hope so lol.
Alissa isnt crawling but she's roll and wriggle herself around.. very slowly lol. she can sit up unassisted for a good amount of time but then she'll evertually topple over lol.
I really have to go.. she's crying, poor bubba has a runny nose :(
ill have to keep up more :( everything just flys by so quick, before i notice a whole week has gone lol.
much love to all you ladies and all your gorgeous bubbas xx

Hello everyone!
Wow, i stopped checking on here for a while because it was so quiet and i figured most of us are on FB so i thought perhaps we weren't posting here anymore... then by chance i checked last night and there was stuff i missed!
So sorry.... I'll be a better internet friend from now on!
Since it has been so long since i have been here i am going to skip personals for the moment as i would have to write a novel to get them all out! Unfortunately this will be an all about me post.....
I started E on solids at 4 mths and we are now up to 3 solid meals a day (just small meals) and he has 2 x 180ml bottles and 2 x 240ml bottles. I am off to get him weighed and measured tomorrow but he was last done at 4.5 mths and was 7.9kg and 69cm.. so even though he weighs quite a lot he is very long (i think he will be about 74 now as he has grown at almost a cm a week since birth) so actually looks lanky.
I am thinking i will be turning his car seat around in the next week or so because his feet touch the end now. I know it's better for him to be rear facing as long as possible, but it's just not going to work with the rate he is growing at! Stevie I am very jealous of you and your little bubby... E hasn't been 6kg since he was 9 weeks old!
The other thing i have done recently is confiscate the dummy! He was waking at about 3am each night to get the dummy back and in all honesty i got sick of getting up to get it for him. So i decided after i came back from Sydney (got back last week) i would take the dummy. First day without the dummy was Saturday and it was a hard day.... i didn't want him to have to just lie there and cry to go to sleep so there was lots of cuddles and sitting next to the cot to make sure he went to sleep with min crying. It's now day 6 without the dummy and although he whinges a little (grizzles and grunts) when i put him into bed he doesn't cry about not having a dummy and he really does sleep better at night. I don't hear a peep from him until after 6 now and he seems to sleep much deeper too.
Well he is crying now... cranky child today. So i have to go but i will try to keep up again now!
It's great to hear everyone is doing well and all the bubs are happy, healthy and growing.
