    Hello ladies,
been such a long time since i posted, i have been keeping up with everyone just havent had a chance to reply with DH here, but he's gone for another 10 days so we're on our own once again lol.
Fi~ its good to hear that Leila is putting on good weights, Miss A is just over 5kgs now, not sure how long, i didnt measure her today at my parenting class, but she has these gorgeous super long legs (lucky bugger lol.. she didnt get them from me )
i feel so sorry foryou having to go back to work so soon, Dh was pushing for me to go back sooner than April but i kicked up a stink telling him that this will be my only chance to spend so much time with her until i go back to work since he's not keen on the idea of having another one. Until we have another one (which we will be lol, he just doent know it yet lol)i wont get to spend the time that i want with Miss A and MIL will be looking after her alot. I am looking forward to going ack to work and having some adult interaction lol.
Tammie~ do you wrap Eli? (i cant remember if you said you did ) ive had to start wrapping Miss A, she still goes to sleep without me which is sad coz i loved night snuggles... but if i dotn wrap her she wont go to sleep, and if she does she doesnt sleep through as well, but its SOO hot. the stupid woman at the parenting class (the lady that was doing it just for this week, thank god) was like "is there a reason why you DONT want to wrap her?" and im like "cos its so hot" and she basically told me its not a good enough reason. plus i went for this long without having to and now she wants to.. wtf?? but ive been looking at those things you put them in in their cot, its like a cylinder cushion on either side of them kinda like O_O the lady at the shop says they help them feel snuggled.. anyone have any experience with them?
Kass~ you poor thing im sure its soemthing that Lucy will grow out of, im sure you would have tried toys and such.. but i have no other advice big tho, and i know what you mean about when they're crying, i get so flustered so easy when Miss A is crying when we're out
RachE~ we missed you  i dont think MIL changed her perfume, but i will run it by her. she's been up there a few more times since then, they brought her a little jungle gym and a little swing and they've said she's been super good everytime. lets hope i stays that way

hello to LJ, Boomba, RachB and Jellybean, havent heard form you in awhile sweet, hope all is well.
going to visit a friend shortly and get some newborn snuggles

ps. has everyone seen my new super awesome Avatar?? xxLJxx

i just wanted to ask a pretty personal question.. you can ignore thats fine

what kind of protection do you use? i cant go on the pill it really throws me off and it doesnt agree with me at all. we used to use the pull our method or condoms, (and still do) while i was pg we didnt use anything coz it didnt really matter iykwim so being that we were so careless for so long, last week when DH was back we got a bit carried away and well.. need i say more!!! once id realised what he's done i got really upset with him "you realise i can still get pregnant..." his response ~ "why didnt you tell me that!!" I HAVE TOLD YOU THAT im a little scared about what could happen... im worried coz we fell pg first time last time, i havent got my period back yet (but ive read that doesnt matter) and yesterday morning i had a bit of a bloody mucusy discharge **tmi sorry** but no AF...
should i be worried? im ****ing myself at the moment. if DD wasnt so little i wouldnt care. im worried coz if it turns out we are, then we'll be having another baby!! thats all there is to it, 2 under 1 could you imagine??
like my SIL pointed out, (and DH kind of agrees) least then we have our family. its all done, it will be tough in the beginning but then we can all move forward together...
im probably reading too much into it but WOW i cant get my mind of it.
im more concerned , more than money and working and having 2 babies, im MORE worried about my poor ol body,(i realise im not old but you know what i mean) about it not having enought ime to recover and about any complications that would bring. would my baby be healthy still? even without my recovery time? would it increase the isks of something going wrong?? (im sorry but i havet really talked to anyone about it .. i dont want to stress DH out about it unless it happen iykwim)
LOL and if this is true, and it turns out i am ill be in this years october belly group too LOL.
    oh man... *sigh*

    thanks for listening!!
and feel free to be honest, lol. i just dont know what to think..

wow.. she must be a super mum surely

dont get me wrong, any new addition would be much wanted and loved, im just freaking out.
and like i said i know that im probably reading to much into it, but yeah. its just one of those things.
and last time (it was around this time last year) it felt the same, ya know. i was dwelling on it for SOO long, somewhere in m heart i knew i was pregnant, same thing with the bleed and mild cramping, but ive read that your first cycle is infertile anyway.. GAH im babbeling LOL.
just gotta wait and see i guess,

    i know right, LOL!!
and again i dont mean to be going on about it, coz it probably is nothing, but i cant talk to any of my family or friends about it, my MIL keeps telling me to wait wait wait on having another one coz i keep talking about one day givign Alissa a brother or sister, this makes me sound like im not happy with Alissa but i really really am, im just looking at the future, chances are we will hae jus the 2 kids and then we can begin our lives as a family, DH wants to travel around Australia once Miss A gets big enoughm this is why he doesnt want to have another one coz he doesnt want it to cut into our traveling (that sounds aweful but he's wanted to travel Australia and catch reptiles all his life) we'd be doing it now if we didnt have Alissa,
makes me think that if i am, its a blessing in disguise lol.

Hi all - Just got home from shopping and mother group meeting with the CHN. They offered us to weigh our bubs and I weighed DS and he's now a WHOPPING 6.36kgs! I say whopping because that's double his birth weight and for someone as small as him (and at his last weigh in he was JUST over 4kgs) when he was born, I'm over the moon! I mean, he could have waited until Thursday cause that's his 3 month checkup, but I just couldn't resist.. I was a little curious *brag over*

As for protection, my Ob gave me a perscription for the mini pill because of BFing at the time, but we've just come back from a holiday to Melbourne and brought back our half used packet of condoms. It's only one of the first times we've DTD since DS was born (yes, DH was wayyyy too cautious!)

Stevie - Your girl is just gorgeous in her ticker

Ok, off to unpack the luggage and wash some stuff before having dinner.. It's still too hot here

    Hi All

Stevie, will be interesting to see what happens I think they say you can be more fertile after having a baby but I'm not too sure. Just wait a week or 2 and do a HPT. As for the cushion thing you were talking about I have one and Leila hates it! Well, I shouldnt say she hates it, she hates sleeping on her back that's all and I got one thinking it might help her feel more comfortable on her back but it didn't work for us unfortunately. I think they are a good idea though and if Leila did like sleeping on her back I'm sure she would like it.

LJ nice work with the weight gain! Sounds like he is a really healthy little boy you are obviously doing a fantastic job with him

Rach, hope Luke gets back into his normal sleeping routine soon. It's hard when they have off days or decide to change their routine, just when you've gotten used to way things were!

As for protection I'm on the mini pill. Not that I need to be as DH and I rarely DTD!! Not sure that I like it though as I've had a lot of breakthrough bleeding, not sure if it will get better but I guess I'll give it another month or 2 and if I'm still not happy with it I'll ditch it.

AFM well I'm having a difficult time at the moment. I cried this morning for the first time in a very long time. I'm just so tired of everything! Leila was sleeping really well but the last few nights I've been up with her and I'd forgotten how draining that can be! I'm guessing she's probably going through a growth spurt as she is almost 12 weeks. DH & I fight all the time. I don't know why but we just can't seem to get along at the moment. I sometimes wonder if I have unrealistic expectations of him. Either way all this fighting is really wearing me down. On top of that I'm feeling really down about the way that I look. I've lost most of the baby weight, just have a few more kg's to lose which doesn't really worry me as there's plenty of time to slim down. What bothers me is the mummy tummy that I have that I don't think will ever go away! It's not just a bit flabby, it's a bit saggy and I have stretchmarks (I know they will fade so not too worried) but it seems to be a bit wrinkly where all the stretch marks are and I'm starting to think that losing weight will actually make this worse and I'll just have loose skin around my belly I don't want to be vain but I can't help it. I used to like the way that I looked, I was really fit and toned. My body is just so different to what I expected it would be. Losing a few kg isn't so much the issues, its more that I think even when I do lose the kg's I'm still going to have a saggy mummy tummy I'm just so down about everything at the moment.

    Hi ladies!

It's been a while since I've been in here... I think I have caught up and am going to give some personals a go... But if I miss something I am sorry but I am typing on ky ph and it's v hard to go back and re-read!

Rach & DM - re the car... Ikwym. E is not quite so bad but he does often cry in the car and he also did in his pram basinette. I think it's because he can't see out since he is lying down. I changed his pram from the basinette attachment to the pram one and just reclined it back - this makes him much happier cos he can see the world... Inquisitive little boy!

Stevie - I am bf so am on mini pill atm. I've always only the taken the pill so am happy with this. As for wrapping E... I have wrapped him since day 1 and unfortunately he won't sleep any other way. Apparently he will just grow out of it, but atm he likes to be wrapped so snugly that I use stretchie wraps and fasten them with the butterfly clips you use on bandages!!!! Not sure if this is a contributing reason why he has slept through night since 5 days... He must feel so safe and Cosy!

Good luck with the hpt! I don't even know what to say that could possibly help but just know I am thinking of you!

LJ - great work with the weight gain!!!! How long did it take to go from the 4 to 6 kg mark? E is massive as well, at 9.5 weeks he was 62cm and 6kg... He is 12w tomorrow so likely to be even bigger now. I have such mixed feelings about E growing so much... On 1 hand it's nice that they are healthy etc but on the other, I'm going to miss bubby cuddles!

Sorry to all the girls I have missed atm... As I mentioned I have managed to type this on my ph which has been no small feat for me!!!

Afm, E and I are doing well. He is doing well and he will now go to sleep without relying on cuddles... We now have cuddles and then he goes into bed. I sit near the bed until he sleeps. He is now having 3-4 45min naps during day and sleeping from 8pm to 5:30am... But then he wakes up like a crack baby because he's so hungry!!!!!

Love you all! Talk to you soon. Xx.

AFM well I'm having a difficult time at the moment. .
I think he is back to normal I think because we travelled home on sun and were out sat he was out of whack he isn't sleeping as logn over night now we are home but its still 7pm -3am at earliest so I shouldn't complain

for body issues think of the mummy tummy as your badge of honour..v because thats what it is a badge of honour to be able to carry your baby and give birth to one...
