Rach - awesome news about Luke sleeping through! You must feel like a brand new woman. Leila has finally started sleeping through again too. She still wakes up crying maybe 3 times a night but will resettle herself so I don't have to go in to her. Decent sleep makes life a hell of a lot easier!!

LJ it is so hard when they are not sleeping well. Teething is rough on everybody too! You are not a failure!!! I know it must be so hard when others (me for one) talk about their babies crawling etc but this is in no way a reflection of anybody's parenting ability! I have no idea why Leila is crawling early, I was pretty slow to develop as a baby so she doesn't get it from me! I know what I say probably wont make you feel any better but it may interest you to know that when I took Leila to the physio recently and she crawled around and pulled herself up etc the physio just looked at me in amazement. She said there is a bell curve of normal development and that Leila was so far advanced with her movements that she was off the bell curve. Me saying this has NOTHING to do with Leila or other babies that are crawling early. What I'm trying to say is that at 7 months most babies are not crawling and this is completely normal. I wish there were something I could say to make you feel better hun, I really do. I know you're feeling really down and its hard to see you feeling this way. Before you cut ties from BB just remember how much support you can get from this place! Everybody is here to help each other, offer advice, reassure us that everything will be ok etc. I'm sorry that you feel like you are not getting this but honestly, we are all here for each other. I hope you get some sleep and start to feel better soon

grrrrrrrrrr Luke does not want to sleep during the days 40min is all and thats it for the day grrrrrrrrrr..........

LJ I didn't read properly before was feeding Luke, do you get weekly updates about bubs milestones my latest said

    Crawling

He's off! Crawling is the one physical skill that can wildly vary in attainment - and some babies never crawl, preferring instead to go directly from sitting to walking. It's also normal for some babies to crawl as late as 12 months, although most start somewhere between seven and ten months.

To crawl in the classic hands and knees fashion, your baby has to first be able to sit well on his own and have good co-ordination, muscle strength and control. You may find that he rocks back and forth on all-fours for a week or two before he starts to get going - this action allows him to learn to co-ordinate his limbs and to work out how to get his body to go forwards rather than backwards (some babies crawl backwards for a short while too).
jack was 10 1/2 mths before he crawled properly I am just amazed how far ahead Luke is he is certainly not normal...normal is above just starting to think about crawling etc

a quick ??? has anyone turned their carseats round yet, I know the longer they stay RF the safer etc, but Luke is over the weight limits for our seats and Jase wants to turn him

LJ hun Dont cut support ties babe! We all love you we jsut get busy Have you maybe thought about doing day shifts...it might make life a little easier as you wont be sleep deprived looking after william and maybe your DH can help out at night time...shift work is horrid..DH is a baker and he can get so cranky some days when he hasnt had any sleep and take sit out on me and get cross at the boys...just trying to help babe! Being a mum is so hard let alone being a working mum ETA please try not to compare him to other kids...they all do things diffrently as long as he is happy and growing he will crawl soon enough..then he wont stop lol! your doing a wonderful job mwah x

Luke walked yesterday he took about 3-4 steps to me then again then between jase and I back and forth a 1/2 dozen times was real good at beginning but a bit wobbly at the end but managed to get some on video I'm so excited Jase has been there to see both boys walk the first time

Liz Jack had only just started at 11mths he didn't walk till he was 14 nearly 15mths each baby is so different....I fully expected Luke to walk way earlier due to how long he has been cruising...

william will get their in his own sweet time he's been busy growing teeth that what I alwasy said bout jack he had a mouthful of teeth but rolled late, crawled late, walk late, yet luke has bugger all teeth ;lol:

oh dear, it has been FAR too long since i posted last. Its been a long long time since ove even posted in BB at all. i feel terrible, just so much going on.
    How is everyone?
Rach2281 Miss E is soo gorgeous. such a petite lil thing. im sorry youve had such a rough month ive been thinking of you, you amazing woman. i watched your interview with that tv prgram and i cried with you darling. I cant even put into words how i feel for you, but just know that Princess Lili is watching over all of you and she would be so proud of you all.
    Kass
Stevie- Take the laptop to the toilet and post hahaha
hehe DH takes the laptop to work, and i dont really spend that much time in there :P
Amber i rekon your about the closest thing to supermum and it gets, you are doing such a fantastic job. You have 2 of the cutest lil men i have ever seen. Everyone keeps telling me you can always tell what a good parent you are when you have such a happy baby, your doign awesome
Fi i am so glad to hear you have your happy little girl back its tough, isnt it teething is such a terrible time, A is teething atm too i rekon and its taking its toll on me.. and her of course. we have had a small break since her last 2 so im happy about that i guess. with your Q re: how many milk feeds - as you know i FF so it might be a bit different, but i give A 3 solid feeds a day plus a few snacks her and there (fruit, arrowroot bikkies, dry cruskits) she has 3-4 bottles a day, depending on what she feels like. She's drinking water much better now too which is a relief, i tried her on juice but she didnt take to it (which is what i was secretly hoping, id prefer if she didnt drink juice) so im sticking to water now. She probably only drinks maybe 40-50 mls a day but i guess i cant force into her LOL
Rach75 So good to hear Luke is sleeping better, it must be hard with jack running around as well. i know how close i come to snapping with just A and if i have a few ough nights with her, its not easy. im getting slack and ive started putting A into bed with me when she wakes at 3 or 4am i dont want her getting used to it i know this has something to do with her teething coz she did this to me last set of teeth too. As far as Luke sleeping during the day, A doesnt sleep much during the day either. If she is REALLY knackred i might get a few hours out of her but usually its about 2 x 30-40 mins sleep IF im lucky lol. re: teh carseat - we have kept her RF but she would be lucky to be even 7kgs now i rekon (havent weighed her for a few weeks) atm i have her in my car FF but thats coz i was lazy but when i put her in DHs car thsi week ill have her turned back RF 2 reasons, i know its alot safer and also when she falls asleep (which she does quite often if we go anywhere) she is much more comfortable, if she;s FF and falls asleep her little head flops forward and i feel so soo bad. We'll be keeping her like that for as long as we can.
LJ Dont get down about William not crawling yet, every baby is different and lie someone has pointed out to me, what does an extra few weeks/months make? in the ling un its not going to matter. I cant se why you would want to cut off from places like BB, like someone else has said i think FB is much much worse. we are all only here to help and some times we are all so very busy tied up in our lives that we dont think to look here ( i know i for one am guilty of that) if you need to talk call or text me, and this goes for any of you girls, im serious you will get a response much quicker LOL im only a phonecall away at anytime day or night it doesnt matter, my BB girls mean the world to me xx
AFM... as most of you know we got a new car the other week, so things are a bit tight here, but we'll do ok. i now have to get my manual licence which wont take anytime at all confidence is the key i rekon. Alissa is doing fantastic apart form the teething and runny nose (which ive put down to teething) she's ok. a little grumpy here and there ut we all get like that at some point haha. Work is work, i dont hate it but would prefer not to lol. ive got a bit of a cold atm which is getting me down a bit but im ok. I missed oout on MG today coz of work an i will miss out next week too but its ok, one of the girls Jess, has fast become a best friend and i see her every few days which is awesome i remember one of you gilrs telling me (pretty sure it was rach2281) that they met their best friend in mg, sometimesi dont know what id do without jess LOL
This year is flying past (much quicker than last year thats for sure) A is 8 months today and i got a bit upset when i thought of it today, she's growing so fast, where did my little newborn go? she's now my little mirror andis just totally gorgeous and blows me away with all that she learns in day. She's so beautiful i cant begin to imagine my life without her now, i cant believe i have fit so well into being a mum, its come so naturlly, i honestly didnt think it would.
Anyway, im FINALLT getting my tatt started on friday SO excited. DH is telling me i might now be able to get it finshed (ive got 3 sittigns booked over the next 6 weeks) coz we are tight for money, i understand that but im still dirty coz he's got all his done, both arms totally done spent LOTS of money and ill have to wait even longer? i guess ill have to suck it up and deal with it but if i have to wait even longer im not goign to be happy. lol.
anyway must go and get these dishes sorted lol
Tam, Shades and anyone else i missed xx

great post Stevie, we turned luke cause he is about 600grms (min) over the weight limit...haven't turned him in my car yet though...he slept real well in the seat never flopped or anything so one good thing as that was my big concern not sure if its the chair the car or what but he was real comfy slept great looked out the window, I know its safer to be RF, but unfortunatly I can't justify going and buying 2 more seats, when at the rate he is growing he will be over the bigger ones weight limit before I know it anyway, if I was going for #3 I would probably do it...as it is looks like he will be in the maxi long before Jack will be out of them so most likely need to get more seats for jack bloody carseats (jokes)

I met my BF thru mums group unfortunatly she lives in bathurst now but we still email FB or msn most days...I know she will be my friend for life

well I finally got the courage and have looked into daycare for Jack no spots on the day I want at the mo, and there is a lady doing releif for the next 2 weeks on the other day who I refuse to allow to have anything to do with my child so am waiting till after the QLD school holidays to put him in its only 3 1/2hrs one day a week but man the mummy guilt......that is unless he gets called up for kindy ( a few kids are leaving and he is next on the list for a extra 6mths YAY!!) i'd prefer kindy as to me that schooling as such

Luke well Luke is on the move, we have started tentative shuffle along furniture, he hardly ever sits anymore he is alwasy standing right now he is standing up at a dining room chair banging on it #2 tooth disappeared reappeared and is now just a lump *sigh* but he is sleeping thru again...mon night he went down at 9pm woke at 5.30am into bed with me we were woken by jack at 8am LOL last night down at 8pm woke at 5am into bed with me woken by jack at 7.30am LOL so decent sleeps...jase doesn't really like him coming into our bed but he is up by 5.50am to go to work so I dont see a prob if its after 5am we have had to drop the cot down to the bottom level as luke leans over the side of cot LOL

AFM: well besides having mental breakdowns with Jack doing ok, feeling like a hermit dont really want to go out of the house even to get bread etc...but I made myself go out yesterday and I took the boys to craft today so feeling a bit better, I'm not depressed I just get blah feelings my house is a mess we have to clear a huge mess in extention as we pick up tiles 5th July and tiler will be here that week so I have to get some motivation, the boys and I are off to visit my mum in rocky this weekend which will be nice .........

ok best go do some work while the boys are happy...oh and my house smells so good have a roast in the slow cooker droollllllllllllllll

Hey - where is everyone?? I need you!!!

Have just had an hour of hell with Leila. I know it was only an hour but man it was tough!! She started crying, then screaming, then squealing and screeching to the point of hyperventilating and vomiting everywhere.... I have no idea why. She was sooo happy this morning. I don't know if she had a tummy ache, hence the crying then huge vomit, or if she just threw up because she had worked herself up so much Nothing I did would calm her down and I find it so hard when she gets like that because I feel like a failure for not being able to make her stop crying. Anyway she is asleep now.

Rach75 hope you are feeling better and less like a hermit!

Hi to everyone else, hope your babies are happier than mine!

    Fi x
