LJ hun Dont cut support ties babe! We all love you we jsut get busy Have you maybe thought about doing day shifts...it might make life a little easier as you wont be sleep deprived looking after william and maybe your DH can help out at night time...shift work is horrid..DH is a baker and he can get so cranky some days when he hasnt had any sleep and take sit out on me and get cross at the boys...just trying to help babe! Being a mum is so hard let alone being a working mum ETA please try not to compare him to other kids...they all do things diffrently as long as he is happy and growing he will crawl soon enough..then he wont stop lol! your doing a wonderful job mwah x

oh dear, it has been FAR too long since i posted last. Its been a long long time since ove even posted in BB at all. i feel terrible, just so much going on.
    How is everyone?
Rach2281 Miss E is soo gorgeous. such a petite lil thing. im sorry youve had such a rough month ive been thinking of you, you amazing woman. i watched your interview with that tv prgram and i cried with you darling. I cant even put into words how i feel for you, but just know that Princess Lili is watching over all of you and she would be so proud of you all.
    Kass
Stevie- Take the laptop to the toilet and post hahaha
hehe DH takes the laptop to work, and i dont really spend that much time in there :P
Amber i rekon your about the closest thing to supermum and it gets, you are doing such a fantastic job. You have 2 of the cutest lil men i have ever seen. Everyone keeps telling me you can always tell what a good parent you are when you have such a happy baby, your doign awesome
Fi i am so glad to hear you have your happy little girl back its tough, isnt it teething is such a terrible time, A is teething atm too i rekon and its taking its toll on me.. and her of course. we have had a small break since her last 2 so im happy about that i guess. with your Q re: how many milk feeds - as you know i FF so it might be a bit different, but i give A 3 solid feeds a day plus a few snacks her and there (fruit, arrowroot bikkies, dry cruskits) she has 3-4 bottles a day, depending on what she feels like. She's drinking water much better now too which is a relief, i tried her on juice but she didnt take to it (which is what i was secretly hoping, id prefer if she didnt drink juice) so im sticking to water now. She probably only drinks maybe 40-50 mls a day but i guess i cant force into her LOL
Rach75 So good to hear Luke is sleeping better, it must be hard with jack running around as well. i know how close i come to snapping with just A and if i have a few ough nights with her, its not easy. im getting slack and ive started putting A into bed with me when she wakes at 3 or 4am i dont want her getting used to it i know this has something to do with her teething coz she did this to me last set of teeth too. As far as Luke sleeping during the day, A doesnt sleep much during the day either. If she is REALLY knackred i might get a few hours out of her but usually its about 2 x 30-40 mins sleep IF im lucky lol. re: teh carseat - we have kept her RF but she would be lucky to be even 7kgs now i rekon (havent weighed her for a few weeks) atm i have her in my car FF but thats coz i was lazy but when i put her in DHs car thsi week ill have her turned back RF 2 reasons, i know its alot safer and also when she falls asleep (which she does quite often if we go anywhere) she is much more comfortable, if she;s FF and falls asleep her little head flops forward and i feel so soo bad. We'll be keeping her like that for as long as we can.
LJ Dont get down about William not crawling yet, every baby is different and lie someone has pointed out to me, what does an extra few weeks/months make? in the ling un its not going to matter. I cant se why you would want to cut off from places like BB, like someone else has said i think FB is much much worse. we are all only here to help and some times we are all so very busy tied up in our lives that we dont think to look here ( i know i for one am guilty of that) if you need to talk call or text me, and this goes for any of you girls, im serious you will get a response much quicker LOL im only a phonecall away at anytime day or night it doesnt matter, my BB girls mean the world to me xx
AFM... as most of you know we got a new car the other week, so things are a bit tight here, but we'll do ok. i now have to get my manual licence which wont take anytime at all confidence is the key i rekon. Alissa is doing fantastic apart form the teething and runny nose (which ive put down to teething) she's ok. a little grumpy here and there ut we all get like that at some point haha. Work is work, i dont hate it but would prefer not to lol. ive got a bit of a cold atm which is getting me down a bit but im ok. I missed oout on MG today coz of work an i will miss out next week too but its ok, one of the girls Jess, has fast become a best friend and i see her every few days which is awesome i remember one of you gilrs telling me (pretty sure it was rach2281) that they met their best friend in mg, sometimesi dont know what id do without jess LOL
This year is flying past (much quicker than last year thats for sure) A is 8 months today and i got a bit upset when i thought of it today, she's growing so fast, where did my little newborn go? she's now my little mirror andis just totally gorgeous and blows me away with all that she learns in day. She's so beautiful i cant begin to imagine my life without her now, i cant believe i have fit so well into being a mum, its come so naturlly, i honestly didnt think it would.
Anyway, im FINALLT getting my tatt started on friday SO excited. DH is telling me i might now be able to get it finshed (ive got 3 sittigns booked over the next 6 weeks) coz we are tight for money, i understand that but im still dirty coz he's got all his done, both arms totally done spent LOTS of money and ill have to wait even longer? i guess ill have to suck it up and deal with it but if i have to wait even longer im not goign to be happy. lol.
anyway must go and get these dishes sorted lol
Tam, Shades and anyone else i missed xx

great post Stevie, we turned luke cause he is about 600grms (min) over the weight limit...haven't turned him in my car yet though...he slept real well in the seat never flopped or anything so one good thing as that was my big concern not sure if its the chair the car or what but he was real comfy slept great looked out the window, I know its safer to be RF, but unfortunatly I can't justify going and buying 2 more seats, when at the rate he is growing he will be over the bigger ones weight limit before I know it anyway, if I was going for #3 I would probably do it...as it is looks like he will be in the maxi long before Jack will be out of them so most likely need to get more seats for jack bloody carseats (jokes)

I met my BF thru mums group unfortunatly she lives in bathurst now but we still email FB or msn most days...I know she will be my friend for life

well I finally got the courage and have looked into daycare for Jack no spots on the day I want at the mo, and there is a lady doing releif for the next 2 weeks on the other day who I refuse to allow to have anything to do with my child so am waiting till after the QLD school holidays to put him in its only 3 1/2hrs one day a week but man the mummy guilt......that is unless he gets called up for kindy ( a few kids are leaving and he is next on the list for a extra 6mths YAY!!) i'd prefer kindy as to me that schooling as such

Luke well Luke is on the move, we have started tentative shuffle along furniture, he hardly ever sits anymore he is alwasy standing right now he is standing up at a dining room chair banging on it #2 tooth disappeared reappeared and is now just a lump *sigh* but he is sleeping thru again...mon night he went down at 9pm woke at 5.30am into bed with me we were woken by jack at 8am LOL last night down at 8pm woke at 5am into bed with me woken by jack at 7.30am LOL so decent sleeps...jase doesn't really like him coming into our bed but he is up by 5.50am to go to work so I dont see a prob if its after 5am we have had to drop the cot down to the bottom level as luke leans over the side of cot LOL

AFM: well besides having mental breakdowns with Jack doing ok, feeling like a hermit dont really want to go out of the house even to get bread etc...but I made myself go out yesterday and I took the boys to craft today so feeling a bit better, I'm not depressed I just get blah feelings my house is a mess we have to clear a huge mess in extention as we pick up tiles 5th July and tiler will be here that week so I have to get some motivation, the boys and I are off to visit my mum in rocky this weekend which will be nice .........

ok best go do some work while the boys are happy...oh and my house smells so good have a roast in the slow cooker droollllllllllllllll

Hey - where is everyone?? I need you!!!

Have just had an hour of hell with Leila. I know it was only an hour but man it was tough!! She started crying, then screaming, then squealing and screeching to the point of hyperventilating and vomiting everywhere.... I have no idea why. She was sooo happy this morning. I don't know if she had a tummy ache, hence the crying then huge vomit, or if she just threw up because she had worked herself up so much Nothing I did would calm her down and I find it so hard when she gets like that because I feel like a failure for not being able to make her stop crying. Anyway she is asleep now.

Rach75 hope you are feeling better and less like a hermit!

Hi to everyone else, hope your babies are happier than mine!

Thanks Rach, I'm glad I'm not the only one that experiences such tantrums!! Weird thing is though Leila did another huge chuck at about 3am (all over my bed!) again it was after crying, although nothing like the hysterical episode we had yesterday. So I still don't know what is wrong - is she sick or just making herself sick from being so worked up?? Anyway I kept her home from day care today and me home from work which isn't such a bad thing as I've been so busy lately and am completely over it - told them I was sick too so I didn't have to try and work from home Arrghhh I'm so tired and over everything!

Yep, love the avi Rach! I finally got one too which is pretty cool. I can't believe how big luke is!! My goodness, Leila seems tiny compared to him I think she is just over 8kg she still fits p/patch 3-6months clothes!

I wish we all lived near each other it would be so awesome to catch up with everyone in person

fi Luke wore a pair of size 1 PP overalls the other day a little big round belly etc and the straps were right up but length etc perfect he is slowing down though he has always been much taller than Jack at same age but this last one, he is on par length wise now but about 300grms heavier at 8mth than jack was at 9mth and so so active compared to jack

Stevie only been sick once since Luek was born and I am so thankful Jase work is so great with letting him come home...I hope you are both on the mend very soon

so Luke is now moving along the furntiture slowly but moving for sure...he even went between chairs the other day slow down I want my baby bit longer

Stevie I hope you and miss A are feeling better. Leila & I have had the vomiting thing too a little while ago and it is so awful, I don't think there is anything worse than a tummy bug

Not much to report here. We had one awesome night with Leila a couple of nights ago, I had the best sleep and woke feeling absolutely wonderful! Sadly it was a one off and I'm back to tough nights and getting through the day in a zombie like trance

    It's very quiet in here.....

The last few days have just been s**thouse here for me - And I'm finding I'm getting so frustrated at DS over the smallest things.

Today was just a huge downer of a day and I couldn't figure out why... Then I saw the date - It's been 3 years to the day since we lost our angel. Yes, it was an early loss (7wks) but I can't help but wonder what that lil was gonna look like, whether it was a boy or a girl, whether it would have looked like me or DH and who's attitude s/he would have.
I don't think thats the only reason, but it's a start. I'm in the biggest downer of a place right now that I don't know what I'm doing anymore.

LJ it is so hard being a mum! As wonderful as it is it is also so challenging at the same time. The loss of a baby, no matter how early, is very traumatic. I still think about my little one and wonder the same things and I still get upset about it. Hun, can I ask if you are seeing anyone about your feelings? I really think it might be beneficial to go and talk to someone as you don't need to be feeling down all the time. I haven't told any of the girls here but I have been seeing a psychologist to help with PND. I found I was having so many bad days. Every day was hard and although I could see that Leila was the most wonderful thing in the world I was starting to struggle to get enjoyment out of her and seemed to always be cranky and frustrated and miserable. Issues from my past started resurfacing and bringing me down and I was really struggling. I just wasn't coping and I couldn't understand why. Eventually I went to see my GP who referred me to someone and it is really helping. I still have bad days but not as many and I really feel like I am on top of things now. You need to take care of yourself and make sure you are being the best that you can be and being down all the time is not something that you need to put up with. I really hope you start to feel better soon. Please don't be affraid to ask for help if you think you need it

    Firstly: HAPPY 8 MONTHS LEILA!!!
How fast is it going, its so scary!!

Rach75 Your new Avi is gorgeous Glad to hear Luke is sleepign through again i dont see the harm of them coming into bed in the morning, Alissa does too. Jon doesnt like it all that much but i give her her monring bottle and i get some awesome snuggles, sometimes if we're lucky we both might get to sleep again for awhile, it sucks when i have to work coz i like to just lay there until we feel like it. Is jack going to daycare yet? i think youve done really well not taking him for this long. Dont feel bad, you need the time as much as he does. Think of it as good qulaity time with Luke I cant believe he's almost 10kgs!! I havent weighed Alissa for a long time, i might do that tomorrow actually

Fi I am so sorry about Leilas tantrums. Alissa hasnt done anything like that, not to say she wont tho lol. Sorry to hear you guys were sick, as you all know we had a pretty nasty week last week too so soo not cool. I dont get sick often but when i do i make up for it lol. At least you got a day off work I also just wanted to give you a great big i had no idea you were suffereing from PND, its when i hear things liek this that i really do wish we lived closer to eachother (all of us) imagine what a good supportive net work we would have we could could visit eachother. But we are all very lucky to have even met online and i am soo greatful of BB and i am so glad that i know you girls, you have helped me soo much!!

LJ I am so sorry to hear about your loss. it must be hard not to wonder about the lil angel. I do agree with Fi tho, everyone has their days and its ok to be down every now and then but if your feeling like this all the time, maybe you should go to your GP and see what help they can offer. I get down sometimes and i know how much that eats at me, but if i was feeling like that all the time im not sure how i could cope. and we are all here for you.

AFM I think Alissa and i are finally back t normal, well i was days ago but she's taken sometime to come around, i just assumed that her little body wasnt as efficient at fighting off the bugs than ours is so naturally it would take longer. Also she's teething and im done with teeth. Forever!! I dont care if she only has these 6 teeth for the REST of her life LOL nah, but im just over her being so fragile. i know they'll come through soon and we'll get a small break but lets hope i dont rip my hair out before then lol. Other than that all is good. works work. the house still doesnt know how to keep its self clean.. dammit
but its last and i still have dishes and stuffs to do so i must go but take it easy everyone and a big
to anyone i missed!! Even tho i dont post alot, i do keep up its just i have so much going ona dn to make a decent post i need a good halka to sit down and type, so im sorry its not as often as i would like but im thinking aboout you all, all the timeee

    Much love my darlings!!!

thanks Stevie Jack hopefully starts after the holidays, its only 3 1/2 hrs as we only have a 1/2 daycare centre here...I know he will love it

well I think that 2nd tooth is thru again it stays thru this time, it has been fully thru 4 times now *sigh* then it disappears a day later...Luke is doing better with sleep I think when we go away he hates the port-a-cot and or sleeping in the smae room as us *sigh* as he sleeps fine in his room and cot at home ...

Thanks Stevie for acknowledging Leila turning 8 months!! It's crazy how fast time is going, we will all be celebrating 1st birthdays soon!

It is so quiet in here!!

Kass - how is the doula training going?

LJ - hope you are feeling better

Rach - hope the teeth come through properly this time rather than comeing down then going back up again, what a pain in the bum! It's hard enough having teeth come through once, no one needs for it to happen again & again with the same tooth!!

Stevie - if your house ever learns how to clean itself you will have to get it to teach mine to do the same

Hi to everyone else - we seem to be missing a few girls, I hope you all come back!!

AFM everything is going ok. I'm starting to get a bit worried about Leila's behaviour but hopefully it is just a phase she is going through. She has been sick too and is on antibiotics so I'm cutting her some slack but she is just such hard work sometimes!! Maybe once a fortnight she will sleep throught he night, the rest of the time I'm up half the night with her. She is not hungry because feeding her does nothing and I'm at my wits end! Even during the day she is a pain a lot of the time because she is becoming so clingy. At the moment she's on the ground screaming throwing a tanty because I'm not holding her....Cancel that - I'm now holding her to stop her screaming! She's all smiles now as though nothing was ever wrong yet 2 mins ago it was like the end of the world. I'm not sure how I can change her behaviour of if this is something that I just have to put up with until it passes. I just dont want her to end up being too much of a mummys girl or worse a tantrum throwing child who throws a hissy fit every time they dont get what the want! Dont get me wrong, I adore Leila and love that she loves me so much, we have a lot of cuddles & kisses and quality time together but I need time to myself too and dont want her attached to me 24/7! Any suggestions???

fi if you find a way around the attachment let me know, Luke will be fine then I walk into the room and he starts crying and carrying on, will crawl past jase and pull onme to be picked up then its all smiles etc I love him to death but there are times when I wish he realised his dad can comfort him, he doesn't need to cry for me to pick him up

as for sleeping thry had a great night tuesday nigth except jase and I got a bit TMI frisky and it was after11pm for us to bed then last night OMG...... he cried he carried on in the end he came to bed with us so of course I didn't sleep real well as I was trying to keep luke quiet so as not to disturb jase..I'm so tired and cold today and I know if I lay down with Luke (who hasn't napped today) he will sleep but Jack refuses to come lay down with us *sigh*

so any bday or themes worked out yet ??? we have the date set and possible theme
