Hi Ladies thanks for the welcome

I had typed up a whole heap but this stupid computer is timing me out so when i hit submit i lose everything. pita. I'll try again when i get the desktop set up.

little bout my two. they aren't walking yet which is kind of a good thing, can't imagine what it'll be like running around trying to control them when it's hard enough shepparding them now when they speed crawl in opposite directions. they eat everything the only food i've found they aren't keen on is salmon other than that everything that gets dished up gets eaten.

I'm toying with the idea of letting them have a spoon each at dinner time (after the bulk of the meal is eaten) it's going to be messy thankfully we have the highchairs set up on the back patio, does anyone else let their babies try to feed themselves part of their dinner?

love the photos next to the tickers some beautiful little faces there. my two are having a nap which from the sounds of it maybe just about to come to an end.

and with that i'm going to try to get this to post.

    Jen

Amy - Thankyou too, I am starting to wonder if they have their own FB.

Twingles - I think it is great your letting them try and feed themselves, they will only get better with time. Mess is apart of the learning process. Your bubs sound too cute.

AMY - Sounds like you had a rough day the other day. I hope things are looking brighter for you now

CSAB - for you too. I'm sure the genetics people will be able to confirm that V is just petite. I know how stressful it is for you

BELFIE - BJ is still sick - Boohoo. Though he is much much better than he was. How's your DH's back now? Getting there at least? How are you finding juggling motherhood & work? I can be difficult some days hey. And the weight loss? I joined in the weight loss thread (finally). I really need some motivation at the moment. I am only 0.8kg away from my original goal weight, though I now would like to lose another 2.8kgs. In saying that, I am quite happy with my weight atm. There's just a few areas I'd like to trim down a little

MOI - How did you go on Wednesday? Poor BJ has Gastro, me & DH have all the symptoms too (cramps, sore throat, coughing, runny nose) but luckily we don't have the runs. I hope you're feeling better

AVASMUM - Yeah it is fun watching him walk around. Though now he thinks he's an expert cause he gets so excited that he tries to run & falls over. I love it that he can walk. He just looks so cute. It's weird cause now it seems like he's been walking forever

TWINGLES - I let BJ have a spoon to eat his breakfast. He doesn't get too much in there but he sure tries. He handles it quite well actually. BJ has been feeding himself since 6months. We started on Baby Led Solids so he skipped the spoonfeeding (pureed food) all together. The only downside is that it takes him forever to eat his meals. I have to allow at least 45mins for him to finish

    SAMI Hope you're feeling better

    FLUFF and anyone I've missed

As I mentioned BJ is still sick. He's pretty much been vomiting once a day, and the watery poo's started a few days ago. He has a runny nose & cough. Basically he has Gastro. He has so thoughtfully passed it onto me & DH too. I am so sick of washing clothes & bed linen!

He is much happier now though. Back to his smiling, laughing self. He's eating much better, but still no where near what he was eating.

    Not too much else happening.

amy_o - hope things start looking up for you... it always seem to happen at once but remember through the rain there is a rainbow and at the end of the rainbow is a pot of gold!

twingles - Ava tries to feed herself and also eats EVERYTHING in sight... lol she's such a pig for such a small girl. I give her a spoon towards the end of a meal sometimes and she makes such a mess but is SLOWLY starting to get a little better co-ordinated with it.
Your lil ones sound soooo cute... twice the fun hey?

Georgi - funny how after they start doing something it's seems like they 'always' did it, it's hard remembering when they were small and didn't move around... guess #2 will shock me back into that.
Hope BJ's feeling better soon... when will these kids learn sharing is NOT always caring.

Hope everyone else is well... me well i'm in Gippsland for 2 nights doing my final visits before #2, can't risk it later on
We think Ava had an allergic reaction to egg white on tues so next week will give her a litlte and see what happens... she seems ok with egg in cakes etc but maybe not so when it's JUST the egg white... hmm poor girl.. she liked it too.
Still trying to sort stuff with the house loan, am so over it right now... bloody finance people, doing my head in! argh!

Well best be off soon, is nice being on here and not having DP ask me what i'm doing or why i'm taking so long , taking my nan for breakfast in the morning, what part of my insane PG brain thought of that idea.. Ava will eat just cos we are eating.. pancakes for me it is i think

OK.. going to try and do personals.

Welcome twingles. I let Maya feed herself. She can use a spoon now (I have to put the food on it though) but she mostly eats with her hands. Sometimes she will try and spoon up food that has fallen with a spoon, but she can't manage it yet.

Avasmum - Enjoy your time away.

Georgi - I hope BJ is feeling better soon.

Amy - Hope things have picked up for you and you had a good birthday yesterday.

csab - It really does sound like V is like Maya in regards to weight and eating and health! But yeah I still get some health professionals telling me I need to get Maya checked out cos there might be something wrong with her. I am really satisfied now that everything is OK after her tests with the paed came back ALL OK! I'm sure V and Maya are the same - perfectly healthy, small girls. They are obviously both clever too learning to drink from the straw cups.

belfie - Sorry to hear about your DH's back. My DH's back is also in a bad way this week. But would he listen to me and go see a physio.. no. So now it's the weekend and he's in much more pain and saying he wants to see a physio now but no one is open. At least he managed to get an appointment for Monday morning, so hopefully he'll be doing better after that!

Sami - Sorry to hear about your stepmother. I hope everything is OK.

OK that's as far back as I can manage to go. Hi to everyone I have missed.

As for me.. the tests were HORRIBLE. They made me feel SO MUCH WORSE. And since then I haven't been feeling the best. But at least I haven't had a vertigo attack (in 12 days now) so that's something.

I am doing lots of research into this disease and found out about research that's taking place in Sydney. I posted details on how to donate on my FB if anyone can spare anything. I'll be a regular, yearly donator now. I really hope that they can find a cure or at least treatment that works and find it soon! I'm even considering getting into fund-raising for the cause.

Maya has been so grumpy and crying a lot today so I don't know if that means she's about to be sick? teeth? the heat? Wish she could tell me!!

Sorry BELFIE I missed you in my last post

MOI It sucks when they're whingy & crying & you just never know why. I always use to blame teeth but he never seemed to get any. Good to hear you haven't had an attack in 12 days. I really hope it continues that way for you

AVASMUM Yeah, I can't remember alot of how BJ use to be. It's like he's been a toddler forever lol

Well girls... I have to share this with someone... and I don't want to tell DH or my friends, family etc......

I haven't had a period in nearly 8 weeks (no, i'm not pregnant). So yesterday DH & I DTD (sorry tmi coming up) & we didn't use protection. I figured I must be close to AF arriving any day. Any way... Later in the day I had heaps of EWCM, it was definately not left overs IYKWIM, so I checked my CP & found it to be high, soft & open. Uh oh...... I'm really not ready to be UTD again. I really wanted to wait till next year. So.... I'm gonna be stressing over the next two weeks now. I'll need all your support! I don't wanna tell anyone cause I don't want to be pestered about it. And I feel silly for telling DH it should be alright cause I thought I'd O'd already.

Anyway... On a different note. BJ is much much better now. Still slightly runny poos & a little bit of a snotty nose. But me.... I have a chest infection & a very clogged up nose! I thought I must've caught it off BJ, but he seems a few days behind me so I think I gave it to him

Still.... I'm off to the gym anyway.... 0.8kgs to go till goal weight!

Thanks for listening, well reading anyway

    Morning all,

Georgie - Are you sure your not UTD? When are you going to test, especially being 8weeks late? My goodness girl Test, Test, Test!!!!!! Ohh and sorry about your chest infection, lots of hugs, but also glad little BJ is on the mend.

Moi - They do sound similar both V and M, glad M's DRs are more happier to say she is just petite and all her tests came back fine. Sorry to hear howe sick you have been still, I hope they can find a cure soon. Hugs

Well V and my second youngest are unwell with the flu, so keeping a very close eye on V, JIC. Looking at getting them both checked out at the DRs today. hugs all.

Hope everyone else is well, and so are your little Bubbas.

csab - aww hope your little ones get better soon. Hope the drcs was helpful today... you must be watching V like a hawk!

Georgi - now I'm really confused! You didn't miss me! Unless you edited me in later...? as for the DTD timing...OMG OMG! I'll send you good vibes. I hope the 2 weeks go super quick and everything is fine.

Moi - big big hugs hun, I'm so sorry you've still felt crappy and aren't those tests just the pits. My DH HATED them. Could they tell you anthing more about how to help get your attacks under control? Did they show anything new? I really hope you don't get anymore bad attacks. Hope DH's back is better too, you don't want him crook!

Avasmum#1 - oh noes on the possible egg reaction, what happened? X isn't supposed to have egg, but he's had a bit accidentally and it just makes his skin flare up (mainly). I was giving him frozen EBM from when I had egg & nuts, and his skin got heaps worse. So I think I'll have to throw the EBM out I just can't give it to him.

twingles - I give X a spoon and he just throws it on the floor. Along with everything else, he just likes to watch 'em fly!

Well X had some follow-up hearing tests & ENT appt last week. I nearly moved it cos he's had a little bug again for a few weeks - but he got the all clear for both hearing & ears... and nose/throat! Yay. And I mentioned that he's not nearly as snuffly now as he used to be... well DUH, I suddenly realised just as the ENT said that structurally he's quite normal. The ENT thought it was the allergies... and the timing is just right - he has improved ever since I stopped the eggs/nuts at end of Aug! So here I was thinking the egg only impacted his skin, but I think it was obviously more than that. Atm he's still crook, very snotty and a cough so we're off to the doc. He's crying now so gotta run. He sounds hoarse, poor little man.

Back laters, hope everyone else is well.

Moi - Hope M is feeling better, is she still grumpy?
it could be a mix of the change in weather with teething etc!
I will def have a look at that page and donate for you, it wont be much but every little bit counts right!

Georgi - I hope everything turns out with the PG test, can you test earlier to set your mind at ease?
Glad BJ is getting better but sucks that your sick, the cycle is horrible isn't it!

csab - hope the kids are well... did you go to the Dr's?

Belfie - so glad X got the all clear for his ears etc, poor little man is sick though, seems everyones little ones have something going on .
Ava had egg with us on cup day (well DP i don't eat it) and about 5min later had little spots all over her, so gotta test her again b4 the 12mths needles (slack i know) as the stuff they give them has traces of egg, so will try her again tomorrow, if she reacts will chat with a Dr before her needles.
She can eat things with egg in it ie. pancakes, cake, bought foods etc etc but maybe the egg itself is a no no! poor girl she seemed to really enjoy it.

AFM: well it's been BOILING and i hate the heat at the best of times let alone while i look like a beached whale so been hiding and trying to utilise the pool.
Ava is LOVING the pool, went in twice the other day just kicks back in her swim seat, plays with the beach ball etc.
Well i have just under 9wks left (possibly well under if she's like A) and still need to sell my car and buy a new one, buy things to setup for #2 (tallboy for clothes etc), get a pram and still haven't packed a hosp bag! should get my arse into gear... don't wanna do it at the last minute!

    Hows everyone handling the heat?

BELFIE Lol. Maybe I have preggas brain already When I saw your post in the weight loss thread I thought oh, I forgot Belfie in my post. So when I posted the last time I mentioned you without checking my first post. But I actually didn't forget you at all! How could I.... Silly of me to think that. That's great that you've figured out X's allergies. Sorry to hear he still has a cough & is snotty... Actually, sounds like me atm. Bj is like that too, but he's not too bad

AVASMUM I still haven't O'd yet. Maybe today. So depending on when it actually happens I'll decide on a testing date from there. You better get a move on with packing your bags etc. I didn't even have the nursery set up when my waters broke. Has NOTHING ready! Though BJ was in hospital for 4 weeks after he was born so we managed to get everything sorted

CSAB Yes, I'm positive i'm not already UTD. My cycles are stuffed from all the exercise I'm doing. It's not the first time it's happened. Sorry I missed your call yesterday. Will definately give you a buzz today

Well girls... So far so good. I haven't O'd yet so still may be a few days away. I know spermies can last up to 5 days, but I guess they'll be a smaller chance of conception. At least there'd be a greater chance of a girl...lol

Why is it that you know they're up to something when they're real quiet? Yesterday I was in the kitchen cooking & realised BJ had been very quiet for a while. So I walked around the kitchen bench (it's high so you can't see behind it) & there he was, watching how fast the milk comes out of his sippy cup whilst he presses the spout into the chaise of the LOUNGE... The little bugger!

Thankfully we had NO exploda poos yesterday, yay! I guess he's definately getting better. I feel a bit better today too. Still stuffed nose, but throat isn't so bad

    Hows everyone handling the heat?
I had to look into the egg thing for X's 12 mth shots and everything I looked at said that it doesn't contain any egg at all anymore. So double check on the day of course, but all sources told me that they USED to have egg traces in the MMR vaccine, but don't now. I checked with my GP and the council and they both said the same thing (plus of course Dr Google!).

Re the heat, omg it's like the middle of summer! We're just hiding out inside today with the aircon on. Just got the all-clear on X's cough & snot. It's all upper airways(not in chest) so just ride it out... geez he sounds awful coughing tho! But maybe I'm just a sook, he's not had a cough like this before.

Georgi - hope you feel better soon too! X did three poos by midday yesterday for Daddy... mwahahaha I sat at work sniggering!

Ok off to clean up before it gets too hot!

Thanks girls, tried getting her to eat egg this morn and she wont touch it so might just ring the nurse at the Dr's and ask that she will be ok for her needles tomorrow.

Georgi - Yeah i REALLY need to sort my bags out, with Ava we had bought nappies already, BP's, maternity pads etc.. got NONE of it and still have so much to buy, best get my butt into gear!
I know what you mean about them going quiet.. Ava is always talking to herself so you know when she stops she's either eating or into something.
    Hope your couch is ok!

    * Anyone wanna take bets as to when i will do it or when this bubs will come ? *

Belfie - hope X is feeling better, poor little bloke. thanks for the info on the egg, will check into it.. not looking forward to her needles

AFM: well we SHOULD find out about the loan hopefully today or tomorrow, we have conditional approval but now they are asking for MORE stuff... i just it's over with soon and we can start building.
Ava is LOVING drawing at the moment, she's sitting in the lounge with her crayons drawing in a coloring book, looks so cute.
OMG she had been psycho last week right, i knew her top teeth were coming through OUCH... she only had 2 at the bottom before that.. in under a week tooth #6 thats right 6 is about to cut, poor girl got 4 teeth in under a week!
I'm getting fatter and fatter and TRYING my best to hide from the heat, got a day at home today to CLEAN.. eww and then the poor girl has needles tomorrow!

Well best be off, hope everyone is well and dealing with the weather ok!

Finally..... I think I O'd yesterday. I have no more EWCM & my CP is low. So.... We DTD Sunday morning & I O'd last night (I'm pretty sure) so that's almost 4 days between. I think my chances of conception are quite low. I won't be doing that again, well, not until the new year anyway.

I finally made it to my goal weight today. Yay! 11.6kgs in 19weeks. Now...I just need to maintain it

    Hi all,

Georgi - lol, I will still keep my fingers crossed for a BFP, as nothing nicer than a surprise BFP. hehehe So glad both Byron and yourself are feeling better. hugs

Belfie - I hope X is feeling better now and also glad that all went well with X's ears and hearing. What a relief for you. hugs

Ava - GL with the loan, also with Ava's needles. Hope all goes well. Hows that hospital bag coming along. Lets hope you make it to the hospital this time. lol. Not long now, goes quick doesnt it. hugs

Hi Fluff, hows the little man going?

AFM - V is still not 100% but I have noticed today that V's molars have come through, well the bottom ones anyway. I cant check the top ones as she wont let me look. I believe they have been out for a while I just didnt notice them. lol. So until I can check her top ones, its 10teeth now for V. hehehe
Going to Circular Quay on Monday to watch the premier of DS's short film in a cinema there. Fingers crossed he wins this scholarship etc, and hopefully he will get some contacts from this, as a few will be watching. I think it should be a nice night. Ohh and DS2 turned 14yrs yesterday, where have the years gone?
