Raffy, I must have jinxed myself by posting that. Last night I was up to him 6 times and fed him 4. I went to bed at 8.30pm hoping for a great nights sleep. He woke at 9.30, 11.30, 2.30 and 5 for a feed How is coops sleeping going? Still going through? Lucky duck!!

Nikki - aww that sucks, sorry to hear, hopefully he makes up for it tonight but sleeping through. Yep coops is still a trooper, I feel so blessed on a 'bad' night he'll sleep 8.30pm-6am but its usually bout 8.30-7 awake for an hour and sleeps again from 8-10. How is summer feeling now? I hope she's back to her usual self

    hey girls.
so I didn't end up having my night off because I took him to mums and cbf driving home so I stayed the night as well. worst idea ever. it was like V's worst night in history.
I swear he woke up 10 times from 1230-7am. not fun at all.
i tried to sleep on the couch but that didn't make any difference

J and his mum are here entertaining V right now. I am just chilling in my room away from them because they are being all ignory and stuff..
have to do this 2 times a week. fun fun.

Brydz - I think that the fact that you hardly know J etc is good enough reason for him not having him whilst you are at work or just having a Brydz Day. Putting Vinnie into care is what is BEST for you. I know you have '18 yrs' ahead of you but are you really going to tread on ice for all of that time? Can you speak to anyone in the legal world for advice? I'm not comfortable with my children being with my MIL anymore, so they don't go unless DH is working 10 minutes away whish is Fridays and Saturdays only so now she sees them on OUR terms. He takes them to her house and then goes back there for lunch and then brings them home. That is what is best for ME otherwise I would be worrying about them all day and turning myself inside out. I have known her since 1991!

Seriously Brydz, if I was closer I would take him in a heartbeat so you could have time for yourself to refresh, recharge, sleep, eat or lay down on the grass & watch the clouds float by. Hang in there matey.

    HI to everyone else.

    Thanks Vix.
I am hoping that we get to round table mediation before the topic comes up for discussion again and can sort out something there. Because he simply won't listen to me alone. I might need my legal back up.

They barely spoke to me last night. Which I suppose is good because they didn't say anything nasty but it was still just weird and awkward.

Tomorrow is his night to go to J's for a few hours. We are going that direction anyway tomorrow for a catch up with the midwifes, will just make a full day of it.

I have been naughty and spending money on him this morning. LOL.
Actually got out of the house. But that is the reason I stay home, cos I spend money lol that I don't really have to spend..

We got a better sleep last night. he woke at 4 and i tried dummy but he wanted a feed/change at 430. then woke at about 7ish and popped him in my bed and had a snooze together.

Mum finally dropped off the lawn mower today YAY and showed me how to use it, so I'll be out mowing my lawns later if I get a chance. the grass is probably 8 inches high yuk.

Brydz- I agree with vix, I won't even leave cooper with my sister for longer than 10 minutes. And she's my sister whom I'm very close with. Its just the fact that she's 18 and very distracted like she prefers to be on her phone or the computer so I'm worried she'll ignore him if he cries. You just need to do whatever makes you comfortable and what your happy with and they will just have to deal with it. Glad you got to get out of the house even if you did spend money (I'm a sucker for that to ) will you plz come mow my lawn, I let the cats out the back yesterday and couldn't find them later the grass is that long lol

Afm - well coopy is 5 months old today, (and so is summer, happy 5 months Sum) DF is on night shift so we went to hoggies (where o used to work) for lunch which was nice and to see people i used to work with. One of my good friends there is 20 weeks UTD and has quite a big tummy now can't believe she's already half way, feels like only yesterday she was telling me they were ttc. But anywho my old boss offered me my job back if i wanted it, he said i can work whenever i want. Im thinking i might go back one or two weeknights a week coz then I'm eligible for paid parental leave by the time next bub arrives, i earn a little bit of money, i get out of the house, and i still get weekends off might go shopping when DF goes to work and start looking for a dress for my 21st only 6 days to go.

See y'all on the flip side
    Peace out xx

    Hello lovelies!

Sorry I have been MIA too - have been reading, just haven't had the chance to post.

Raffy - So glad to hear you had a great 21st! I remember being 21 once too, but it seems like a very long time ago now! lol I'm heading towards the big 30 now but looking forward to starting the thirties! lol The CC has been working thankfully even though it absolutely broke my heart the first few days, but I guess I can safely say I'm not as heartbroken about it and he doesn't even really cry and put up that much of a fight now when he needs to go sleep (see more in AFM).

Nikki - Wow, Benny is growing really well! Will be getting Noah weighed and measured tomorrow so will be interesting to see how tall / heavy he is now as I haven't weighed him for a while. He must be heavier for sure as I can feel it in my arms when having to carry him around! lol Hope that Ben is sleeping better for you since you last posted him waking every 2-3 hours at night for feeds. Can't remember if I have asked you this before but could he be teething and that be why he is waking so often? How is he sleeping during the day? I soooo know how you feel with the frequent wakings at night honey (except in your case you have a toddler too)!! HUGE HUGE HUGE

Sparkles - Nice to hear from you and to hear that Tynan is doing well. Sooo cute when they giggle and laugh. I'm sure we'll get to hear more and more giggles and laughs as they get older and it'll just get more and more cute!

Brydz - Hope your visits to J with Vinny is continuing to go well and that they are being more civil towards you instead of weird/akward. Happy 5 months to him for yesterday. Wow, our youngest bub is now 5 months old too. Can't believe how quick the time has gone. Feels like just yesterday Noah was born and now he is only a few days away from being 6 months!!

Bec - CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement, that's wonderful news!!! Great to hear from you too! Thanks, yes he is sleeping much better (see more in AFM below). Glad to hear that Madi's reflux is heaps better that's fantastic news. Yes, I have the same with my mother's group - babies going through similar things - sleep problems etc. So it helps to know you're not alone hey? hehe

Vix - Helloooo there, hope you're doing well and that you're feeling better. Hope that you got some good sleep and that Noah hasn't woken you heaps again through the night to go to the toilet!

    Hello to everyone else!

    AFM,
doing soooooooo much better and Noah is sleep sooooo well now!! The CC thing must have helped because as soon as he gives me a sleep cue of being tired (rubbing his eyes or yawning) I go pop him in his bed and he might whinge a bit, sometimes cry, but more whinge and within 10 minutes during the day he is fast asleep and will sleep for 1.5-2 hours in the morning, then for about 1.5 hours over lunch and then he will have a 30-45min nap around 4:00pm! I am very strict with his bath-bed routine and BF him at around 4:30pm-4:45pm (or once he wakes from his nap), then bath him around 5:45pm, feed him some solids at 6:15pm, read him his bedtime story around 6:30pm and he is in bed by 6:45pm, when I usually don't hear a peep out of him and he is fast asleep by 6:50pm!! He has done a few through the night sleeps without waking at all and he has woken 1-2 times where I heard him, but waited before rushing up to him and he self settled himself back to sleep. He has also still been waking some mornings around 3:30am for a feed, but I can handle that and then he wakes between 5:30am and 6:30am so this Mummy is THRILLED as she is getting some great sleep too!!!! Yay!!!

I went to see my OB/Gyn today for my 6 week post op appointment - holy dooly, yes, it's already been 6 weeks since my op!! Can't believe how quick the time is going!! He did an internal examination and where he restitched and cut the scar tissue out it healed beautifully. I have tried DTD about 5 times now lol and still having some pain (not where the tear was that he fixed, it's more internal) and he said that it can be very normal due to have given birth vaginally and that it takes time to heal properly. He said that for some women it can take a few weeks to feel better where for others months, sometimes years but that I should just keep trying because he is sure that it will get better eventually. He also asked whether I was still BF and I said that I was and he said that because when you BF, you don't have any estrogen, that will make you "dry" and can also cause discomfort and pain and said that he can almost guarantee that whenever I decide to wean Noah from BF and my estrogen levels return to normal that things will start to feel better! lol He also said that the spotting I'm experiencing is also due to the lack of estrogen and that it's normal. He said to give it time and said that if and when I wean Noah (not that I'm thinking about weaning yet, but when I do) that if I'm still experiencing pain 3 months after that to come back and see him and we'll go from there so I'm happy with that, although not looking forward to the pain at the moment until we get to the stage of it being pain-free (which I can't wait for!).

Well then, I guess I better head off and get dinner on the table, DH just got home....

Hope you all have a great night and good sleep!

    Sorry for the longgggg post...

    Love to you all!!
