Just wanted to pop in to say thanks to NIKKI for your text yesterday. I didn't see it until quite last last night, midnight infact! I will try that today as I have a whole Butternut pumpkin here and some sweet potato + white potato. I love soup so I will make up a big batch to freeze plus small batches for Missy.

DH finished putting in the fireplace yesterday so since about 6pm last night w have had a nice, toasty, warm fire going. So good to wake up to a warm home inc warm timber floor!!!

Thank you girls for all your care and support. I certainly don't expect people to ask how I am at all, I was just really annoyed to see my friend write it on her wall - kind of attention seeking in my books. Ho Hum. Today is a new day. I have an old work friend popping in this arvo to give Noah a bday present. She is old enough to be my Mum and treats my kids like her own grankids. <3

Hi to anyone else out there!! xx

AFM - Ty has been a great little boy the last few days, so happy & growing his large personality every day! I reckon he'll be crawling within a week or so, he is getting sooo frustrated with it!! H e woke at 4.30 this morning and wanted to play, so he is back to sleep now but don't expect to get more than 40 mins out of him, so hopefully its not a grumpy day!! Ty has been on 3 solid meals for a bit now, usually weetbix for brekky, yoghurt & toast (tried bread the other day(sandwich) but he handles toast better) and he just eats what we eat mushed a little (apricot chicken, spag bol etc) and in the last week I have added a little bt of custard or fruit after dinner, oh and he may have a cruskit or two chucked in somewhere in the day, also quite happily guzzles 4 bottles a day (800ml). no wonder he is such a big boy!!! Oh dear i think he is awake already, oh well!!
ps. i have gone off the pill as of saturday just gone, will purposly try to avoid this month to give my body a little break then offically TTC next month, scary but exciting!!
Love to you all & big hugs to all the gorgeous bubs xx

I spoke to the CHN late yesterday - yet again a diff one! Grrrr!!! :-X However, she came to my rescue with Alannah lack of eating and lack of ff. I need to move her meals closer to her bottles and for lunch and dinner, because she gags so much, to let her feed herself mainly but for me to pop in spoonfuls throughout our meal! She also gave me a better idea of what to feed her (you would think after two kids, I would know all this. Darn PND for blocking my memory!!). Last night I cooked pasta and we happen to have bow tie pasta which was a great size for her to hold onto whole and nibble at which she did! I also sprinkled grated cheese on her tray and put spoonfuls of mash with grated cheese mixed through on her tray also. She thought it was the best!!!

Today, I cooked her some fish, broke it up into bits for her, plus the grated cheese again. Not overly keen on the fish.

I also need to try her on a 4th bottle but just a little 60ml one at this stage due to the amount of wastage. I worked out the other day, I was making 4 x 240ml bottles = 960ml and was throwing out roughly 500+ml everyday! Then I dropped it down to 180ml bottles (x3) ans she still only has a bit over 100mls most times. Grrrr. So annoying!

Hohum! She also wants me to have her weighed atleast monthly to ensure she is gaining weight. And to use cows milk in her cooking such as cheese sauces and I am guessing with her farex as well in that case?! (just thought of that)

    Well, heaps to do.

Vix - Glad that the CHN was able to offer you some tips/info/advice on feeding Alannah! Glad to hear that she loved the pasta, mash and cheese you had last night. I also hope that the extra FF bottle will help and that she'll finish it. Fingers crossed that she will start to eat better for you soon. I think you're doing an excellent job though honey! I don't think it's very easy feeding babies at times (in my case that's how I feel anyway) as I'm really having a hard time getting Noah to eat savoury more than sweet as he gags and screams at anything savoury if it doesn't have something sweet mixed through it I must be honest that after trying for about 5 minutes and him screaming and not wanting to eat and to the point where he cries so bad and nearly chokes on his food that I give in and mix some apple sauce through it to get him to eat it, which he then does, but only a little bit It really does my head in at times as to why he won't even try to eat the savoury without sweet in it!

Sparkles - WTG on Ty eating so well for ya! Whooooooohoooooo on going off the pill and TTC next month! Hope your TTC journey will be a short one and you'll get that BFP straight away!!

Raffy - How did your GP appt go yesterday? It was yesterday wasn't it??

    Hello to everyone else!

    Love to you all!

Vix - You're welcome! Finally figured out how to comment on your blog too and I'm finally getting email updates for it too! lol Great minds think alike thinking and wondering about her! lol If you hear from her, will you please let her know I said hello and hope everything is ok!

Raffy - Yes, I must have missed something too - why did she ask for a ban, and this might be a silly question but what is a ban?? On here?? All the best for tomorrow and enjoy seeing Pickle!

I best get my butt to bed but have been able to do so much online tonight that I never get the chance for and usually never feel like it as I'm too tired....lol

Hope you both have a great night! Sleep tight!!

I'm not sure why she asked for it? I just saw a status on FB and she was asking how she goes about getting a ban?

Pretz - on here you are able to ask a mod to temporarily disable your account for a selected period of time, some people do it because they find they are on bb to much and it interferes with there personal lives or some people just need to study or something and use a ban as a way of making sure they can not get distracted itms?

Ah I see, thanks Raffy for explaining what a ban is - and it makes sense - in that case and now that I know what a ban is, I almost think I should ask for a ban from facebook as I'm always on it (on my mobile phone especially and on my PC whenever I can)! rofl: Good luck again for today! Thinking of you and Pickle!

    Morning to everyone else!

pretz here here! I totally agree with the FB ban idea. You can actually 'deactivate' your account on FB, it asks you what reason you are doing it for, and then tells you that to reactivate all you have to do is login. WTF? lol. I tried it once and lasted a few hours ahahahaha. It is all too easy to login again..

thanks for your kind words re: J and all that. I'm taking V there today again. I mentioned on the phone that it is courteous to let me know if they will be late and that I am not happy V keeps coming home smelling of cigarettes. His answer to that "oh that wouldn't have been from here" wtf? Where else has he been? He goes to their place, they are smokers, he comes home, I am NOT a smoker.. um, pretty sure it IS from there!!

Today I have to ask him about the formula and food they've given him lately. I have a feeling they have changed his formula or something because the last 3 days he has been constipated. He has NEVER EVER been constipated before.
It was so bad it made his bottom bleed and mum said yesterday he screamed and cried in pain when he pooped. 3 times.

I was at work yesterday, for my first shift back. Remember a while ago I went to visit with V and there were staff there that upset me by *****ing about me? One of them was the girl I had to work with last night. She lost a baby to a rare condition and apparently she doesn't think I deserve to be able to have a healthy baby because I am a single mum and I shouldn't have a baby anyway. She told this to my trainer because she asked what her issue was (and the trainer is one of my close friends - but she didn't know that).

She was so rude. She wouldn't look me in the eye and speak to me and moped around.
I don't give a flying f$#! what her personal issues are, she shouldn't bring them to work.
I barely even know her. What a moron. Hope she gets over herself before I have to work with her again. I mean yes it all is sad etc. about her baby but she has no right to judge me. She is friends with that other girl the one who lost a baby (that was due a week before me) and said I don't deserve to be a mum just because I was complaining one night about sleep deprivation.
God some of you other mums would be undeserving in her eyes too. Too much complaining about a good thing. ..She lost her baby so therefore nobody else is allowed to have bad days.. Seriously, she should grow up. As if those things can even be compared.

I am not a heartless person, I am a very caring and compassionate person. Why should I be made to feel guilty for even mentioning my baby at work though.. It didn't help that I was trying to be a little respectful but every other person there kept bringing him up..

    Hey Brydz,

Am on my mob, but just had to reply. You are EVERY bit as entitled as any other woman on the planet to be a mumma!! I am totally outraged for you!! Argh! You are a bigger person than me, I woulda punched her in the face! What a frikken rude cow to say that about you! Yeah it is sad for anyone to lose a bubba, but is certainly no excuse to judge other women.

Some people try for years to have a baby, needing IVF or such, so they can't complain if they have a bad day with their bub ???
It's human nature to offload emotions whether positive or negative, it doesn't mean anyone is ungrateful to be blessed with a baby.

IMO, she is just very nasty & bitter, and maybe if she worked on being a nicer human being, good things will happen to replace the sad.
You get back what you put in to this life.

Big hugs to you, don't even let that crap get to you hun. I think our babies choose US to be their mummas, I always have. They just pick who is right for them!

Hi to everyone else. Sorry I haven't replied, been reading, but am always on ph- so much easier than the puter
