Erbery - I think the worst thing about sleep deprivation is getting used to it in the early days. Having broken sleep for weeks on end gets to me, but I find it peaks at around the 2 - 3 week mark and then my body starts to deal with having broken sleep every night. That's just me though, everyone is different. Usually by the time my babies have been between 6 and 12 weeks old they start to get into a better routine, feeding is quicker and they can settle themselves to sleep to a degree so things become much easier. I have only had experience with my babies though, I don't know if that is everyone's experience.
