Hi All,
Will try a quick post before Jaida wakes for a feed
Welcome Nina and Henri
Henri - your question about vomitting came up at my last mothers group. The childcare nurse said that althought it generally appears that bub has thrown up alot it would probably amount to no more than a tablespoon and therefore thinking that bubs tummy is now empty is generally not the case. I would just go with what bub wants - I am sure you will figure out the pattern soon enough
Lisa - great to hear the TT is fixed and how frustrating to think the instincts of a mother are still ignored these days.
Erybery - exhaustion - I hear you. I have good days and bad. Jaida is nearly 4 weeks now so we are developing a slight routine. Jaida quite kindly has a 5 hour sleep after her bath at night so I take full advantage and catch up on sleep then. Its nice having 3-4 hours in a row. Hopefully your bub will do this in a few weeks. DH is also responsible for settling Jaida after her 7am ish feed so I can have another hour or so. Sleep where you can ignoring the housework and the TV (I found that I still want to watch my fav programs but this was killing me so I go without or tape them)
AFM - BF is much better this week and a routine is being established (i hope). Jaida still feed 3 hourly during the day but has a big sleep from 7pm - 12pm-1am. Jaida also slept from 1am to 6am the other night - bliss. Hoping she likes this idea and keeps it going.
Jaida was also weighed and she had gained 800gms in a fortnight - my little porker![]()
Anyone experiencing sore ovaries?? I am guessing the pain is ovary pain atleast it is in the same position. Hope I am not about to start ovulating again![]()
