How is every one doing any way! Im 30 weeks today yay! so with the GD I prob have 8 weeks left or around that any way, looking forward to it and yet dont want time to pass to quickly

Noah has made a great recovery, Niamh, and is home now with his family. My cousin is so grateful to everyone for thinking of him and praying for him. We are all good here, just moved to a new town and am now a home owner (well, mortgagor!) and still sorting out the mess of boxes. Fabulous that you are 30 weeks!! It has really flown!! Well done, you!!

Kerry, I was hoping that you would say that, I was sure I wouldnt have missed a post to say other wise on FB, Im delighted he is ok whoo hoo. I cant believe Im 30 weeks we are all settled in our new house as well, which I love and finally I can relax and start planning for baby. how are you finding your new house!

ASFM there isn't much going on here. Moo has hit the terrible two's in spades and all I feel like I do all day is yell at her and worry about my ability to parent. Sleep is still an issue here as it has been forever 10pm and we are still fighting to get her to sleep. I am thinking of totally cutting her day sleep to see if that helps. Lol could change my mind on that one.
Moo has started actually weeing on the potty before bed after just sitting on it for months. Although just seeing the wee is not enough for her to believe she has done it because she didn't fart ( that's what she tells me).

Donna tell me about the terrible two's Eireann is so independednt and knows what she wants LOL we are trying to get her to sleep in her own room now, but Im putting a spanner in the works, I just cant relax or sleep well, Im terrified she will wake up and fall down the stairs, so need to get the stairs gate up so I can sleep again!

Mel you still have me any way LOL

OMG I forgot how big you get being pregnant or may be Im carring a little monster already

Oh sneaking in a feeling very guilty!!! I still have Donna's clothes and Kerry's doppler and BP..I have'nt forgetten but am very slack..Kerry my excuse is i knew you were moving and it would be a hassle for you if I sent it to your old addy!!!
Niamh wow that has gone so fast but then my baby is a big girl (9months) I blinked and look what happened
I have my 2 little ones at home next year the others are at school so looking forward to spending some quailty tiem with them verus the mad last 2 years of kinder /school runs..commitee meetings...excursions/incursions, docs/specialist appointments etc, this year is about relaxation ( well at leats I hope so??)
Kerry so nice to hear you are buying a house..can you Pm me your addy and i will post your gear back..are you still with DP?
Mel, hope your life is more relaxed now? sound slike you had a rough time of it for awhile.

Pam how are you, may be with that extra time you will get on facebook may be LOL Im always at you over that! wow 9 months already sure hard to believe birthday number 3 in a few months time! relaxing sounds like an excellent plan to me!

I think Eireann wants to potty train! tooo cold here for that! it would be perfect if the weather was warmer I could just let her run around in a vest, Im so fed up of this GD as well 6 injections a day is hard work and trying to remember the adjustments made to my insulin dose as well, I keep forgetting and give my self the wrong amount whoops! not giving to much though so thats a good thing!

Hope no one here is effected by the floods, I have been in tears reading the news so sad, its mad weather we are having the world over even here in Ireland it has been the coldest on record! we had - 10 day time temp soooo cold was horrible trying to do a school run with Shane and Eireann esp glad the temp is a little higher, but they are saying now the cold is to return, its gas we have so much rain all year round so much we could export it and some people have no water since christmas, because our stupid goverment never invested in the water storage repairing pipes or updating them, with the cold they froze and burst so all the water is underground! were I am is ok though thankfully ok enough from me, keep in touch girls!

good to see some acton in here. I think of you all often. I got to meet Nicambar (Suzi) just before chrissy, she did a massive favour for me which was so awesome! It was great to meet her, even if it was only for a little while

Emily is going really well, some days she drives me sooo mad!! (well most days) but she cracks me up its the constant whinging that I find hard to deal with.
All is going well with pg number 2...touch wood...13 and a bit weeks to go!!

Eireann is a little clingy and wingy too I think it because they know change is coming, my boys were the same Ild expect her to regress a little when the baby comes but it wont last long we are prob not our normal selfs as well tired hormonal etc etc LOL I have about 7 to 8 weeks left and Im feeling a lot more uncomfortable now baby really hurts some times I feeling more wriggling and stretching that kicking but he stretches and pushes out my tummy at the top high up on the right side and the pain its sooo sore I cant walk or move going to mention it on Tuesday at my appointment!

Hope all of you were ok and safe from the floods, Ive read so many sad stories and been in tears so heart breaking, I seen floods in Brazil as well and 500 people lost their lives just shocking as well!!!

Just a quick post, had missed the updated thread! Have not been able to spend much time at the computer since moving house, not least because the comfy computer chair was buried in the corner of the room and surrounded by evil boxes. Have rescued chair but room largely looks the same, alas. Pam, you will need to clear some space in your inbox for me to send you a PM. I was only just thinking of you, hope the floods haven't come near your area. Same goes for everyone else here, hope you are all safe and well.
Mini-Matthew update: still weaning him, he's regressed to having "booby" morning and night, OMG, and still co-sleeping. My plan to get him straight into his own room when we moved here (and to have him completely weaned by the start of the new school year) was highly flawed. He has started full time at the local childcare centre where he has been sitting on a toilet before having his nappy changed. Says: "I not!!!!" if I ask him to sit on the toilet at home. Bought one of those cushioned seats for kids to put on top of the regular toilet seat, thinking I could avoid The Potty. But looks like I'll have to buy The Potty. Any suggestions for a good starting potty? We have also graduated to the Terrible Twos with this morning getting off to a fabulous start over me asking him if he wanted to put on his dressing gown as it was a little cool. Result: total meltdown with him neither wanting dressing gown nor me to take it away. Checkmate. Lucky that school hasn't started back yet because I'd have been tearing my hair out and shrieking instead of trying to deal with it calmly. Well, calmly for about ten minutes before dumping him with my father. My parents are in the second week of a four week visit.

Hi girls...
Kerry I have cleared space in my inbox..I thought I could have more messages than that? No floods here for us..we are the the foothills of the mountain ranges fire is our biggest worry. We have a great potty that has a sensor and when the wee or poo it plays a very upbeat series of songs its a fisher price and looks like a throne..you have to get a fluky wee first then they start to get the hang of it. A booby regrssion? oh well I don't think he will be doing that for much longer I can't imgine that he would be much more than three and thinking he was too old for that!!! What about cutting one feed out..Poppy still loves her bottle morning and night and loves to lie and relax with it I guess its the same.

Ezy not long now do you know what you are having? Very exciting!!!!

Niamh my sister added me to facebook..but I can't find anyone and really don't have the time still..I need to be ebaying if I have some spare moments to pay for our always expanding bills eg this year the kids have started at a private school..ouch!!!!

Hidey Ho Ladies... I am still here, I could never find the new threads LOL.. all good here, NOT, terrible 2's suck a$$ big time... It's funny though, I love Arabella to bits one minute next minute I just lose the plot... Oh the screaming and shreiking, I reckon our neighbours think that I'm murdering her some days. No potty training here, she is way too stubborn and strong willed.

Donna - I am going through the same dilema atm with what to do with dropping the day sleep to get her to bed earlier at night. It just turns into a shyte fight basically by 6pm and she wont eat and just screams if I try and put her down if I give the day sleep a miss. Now I seem to have mucked the routine up completely and well, we don't have a routine.

Erin - It was great to meet you, I'm sure we'll get to catch up one day soon. I can't believe how fast yr pg is going.

Kerry - congrats on the house also so glad to hear that Noah is well again, that must have been awful to go through. We are still co sleeping but Iam going to have to give it up soon, it's killing me cause Bella is such a restless sleeper. Don't ask me how I'm going to do it, but I know that I NEED to lol..

Niamh - I didn't even know you were pg again, woo hoo congrats.

Pam - I find FB a little easier to keep track of people for some reason... My, your little babies are growing fast too. Glad to hear that you were out of the floods.. damned bizzare weather, one minute there's raging fires, next there's walls of water raging through towns.

Haven't been looking in here for ever so long. I think all the silliness in some of the other forums on BB put me off visiting BB at all. If that makes sense.
When did you become Visitor8, Mel? Is that like the alien movie? Or an allusion to something else?
CONGRATULATIONS to our Niamh on the birth of her little bundle of blue love. Was very exciting reading the announcement on FB and seeing all the lovely photos.
Not long for you, Erin! Are you excited to be nearing the end of this part of the journey? Thanks Pam for sending back the breast pump and doppler. I've added them to the pile of things I need to sell or give away so that I can reclaim space in the garage.
Matthew is doing well at the childcare centre now. He was losing weight with being too tired (or too slow) to eat when it was lunchtime there but that little issue seems to have been ironed out. Does have tonsillitis for the second time this term though. So I'm on a day off from work with him at home. I'm so tired and can't wait until the school holidays start here. Will make another stab at weaning and toilet training the young master and getting him sleeping in his own bed. All the things that everyone else seems to have managed with their little monkeys! I think I've been waiting for it to kind of happen of its own accord...

Nope not long to go!! Getting exciting. We aren't tting yet, im in no state to be cleaning up accidents or lifting Em on and off the toilet all the time!! She is keen but mummy not so much!! She asks for undies all the time and tells me she is a big girl but it's just to hard right now. DH can try when he is back!
We are only just getting the hang of her sleeping in her own bed too!
It sounds like the move had gone well for you two. Don't feel pressure to do any of that stuff, I think all in their own time!
Mel left BB for good I think so that is why her username is gone.
