Hows everythig going rach? I can't remember who did it but does sound familiar? Was it Rikki? Some reason I am thinking her.
things are going good luke and I were sick last week but coming good this week Jack is great grwoing like a weed and so ready for some type of school he doesn't go to kindy till next year *sigh* and we have no daycare out here well we do but only 3 hrs a day or something like that  Luke is practically crawling which freaks me out he is so much more mobile than Jack ever was...ahead of jack in all milestones excpet teeth  Jack had 4 by now Luke nothing he really is a totally different child
yeah Rikki does sound familiar whats her username is she even still on here ???
Rach, that was Kara. Have you got her on FB. She doesn't come on here anymore, but she's always on there.
shell - it was easy coming up with this name, but if we had another girl after this one then it'd be hard as we would have officially run out of names
Shell- yeah we are going to the Crows Game on the friday night as well, but its also to see my cousin. Her hubby plays for the WB so gonna catch up with them. As for the testing patience i know what its like, A has her serious moments.
Jodi- we have another girls name picked out if we ever decide to venture down that path, but also a boys name... not to keen on the boys name though but M is
thanks Shell and Jodi have messaged her on FB and soughted it out :)
I'm sooooooooo excited ... my sister is in labour at the moment. She's 38 weeks pg, and went to accupuncture this afternoon, and her waters broke on the table! Last I heard (at 8.30) she was 4cm and contractions were coming every 2 minutes ... ouchies! AND my cousin is in labour, at the same hospital! She's 10 days overdue and was induced tonight.
:dance::dance::dance:
very exciting ELV for both your sis and cousin
How exciting, two new bubs to cuddle soon! YAY Jodi! Gotta love that acupuncture ;)
I'm an Aunty  My sis had a 6 hour labour, bub was 6lb 4oz, 49cm. Jake Oliver she called him :D
Aww yay congrats Jodi!
This is just a fly by, I know I don't have long, the boys are eating cocopops, so I'm trying to do as much as I can in this time. :lol;
How is the weather in the other states? It's FREEEZING where I am! Very thankful for our ducted heating. I always think 'yeah I don't mind Winter' when it's warm, but now it's cold and I can't remember how I stay warm each year! Brrr! I might acclimatise, right? Give me some hope here!
Nelle- I know it's freezing! But trying not to complain cause I really hate hot weather so prefer this to hot!
Ness- which doggies player is your cousin married to? I know you've said before but I always forget. Do you get to go hang with the team after the game?
Jodi- yay on being aunt! Has your cousin delivered yet? Pretty good you can visit both in the one trip!
Rach- glad all us braniscs helped sort that out, lol. It's hard when second child on the move isn't it. I always have to remind Ash not to leave choking hazard toys around.
Thanks! :) Pity they're both down on the Sunshine Coast, too far for me to visit :(
It's a beautiful day here today. Not hot and not cold, just right.
congrats to your sis Jodi lovley name :)
Shell yeah its all soughted :) rikki is going to make one for Luke as well, I kept thinking her name and then cause she has been away she wasn't popping up on my FB page so I forgot about her
Nelle its bloody freezing here today well its 20c overcast drizzly and cold cold ... considering it was 36c in my house on sunday 20c is freezing brrrrrrrrrr
Nelle- not freezing here but fresh and just fresh enough i never want to crawl out from under my covers
Jodie- congrats hun!!!
Shell- shes married to Brain lake, they were the ones who had all the contraversy over the inductions last year for their daughter cause of the finals and WB being in them. I highly doubt will get to hang out with the players, due to such strict game recovery guidelines for the guys.. would be nice though and well you never know... dont think we would be invited down to the change rooms in my crows colours ROFL!!!
I could have done it rach! Kara does a great job anyways though!
Congrats jodi! How exciting for you and your family with these bubs. Im so jelous. Cant see any round my way for a long time.lol
And yes party pooper i wanted to see the name too but i suppose u have to keep some secrets.
Laurin.. how have u been? Have you had anyone help or visit??
Just come back from the sunshine coast! I love some of the areas over there! I could live there.. But aaron i think has settle here for the long haul. My back didnt hurt as much over there so i think my arthritic back enjoyed the warmth!
Starting WW again tonight. I have popped on a lot of weight. Im hoping by chrissy i can be at least trim!
yeahh i know caddie i just wanted a matching one to the one jack had thanks though
J had his surgery yesterday. He is pretty miserable. Home now, but won't eat or drink and is now petrified of taking panadol as he thinks that we are trying to knock him out again!
Lilima- Hope J starts to feel better soon hun!! poor little thing. (hope your coping ok too)
Im so excited about this weekend... spewing i cant meet some Melb sept ladies but maybe next time!!
Ohhh poor little J. I was thinking of him today Meg. How are you coping? I hope he recovers soon. Is there a fun food you can get him started on? Icypoles, icecream, yoghurt, chocolate milk...
Second hearing test today, nothing wrong with Riv's hearing as far as they can tell, so while it's good to have that crossed off the list, part of me is like 'darn' because while fixing hearing with grommets sucks, I guess I was hoping for 'here's the issue, but we can fix it'. Now it's just more speech, paed, and hard work. He is doing really well though, always making progress. Next speech appt Friday, and we're on the OT waiting list. :) He's such a fun kid though.
Ness you must be so excited! I hope you have a great time - If I can make it at the last minute I'll let you know - but I couldn't even afford to go to Spotlight today, and if I can't afford Spotlight, you know things are baaaaaad.
How's the WW going Caddie? And your back?
How's everyone else? How are the kiddies?
Lilima - been away so I know this is late, I hope J is feeling better now...Jack was the same after his op for a few days scared of the medicine etc, but he is fine now and barely remembers it...so hope you J is the same :hugs:
Rach thanks for your reply. It has been 3 weeks now since the op and he is still not really himself. He wet his pants today. Not like him. Today he has been bouncing off the walls - my mum gave him some chocolate cake yesterday - that would be what has him bouncing....
i am unwell, In fact, now i htink about it, I have been unwell for about 2 months now, but yest had a raging temp and slept for 15 hours. I have problems with my thyroid. I think it is time I went back to the DR. I know they will want to take it out, but I don't want to be on thyroxine for the rest of my life.
Kids are OK. E is still waking a bit in the night, but generally I jsut ignore her.
yeah it took jack about 6 weeks to come back to his same ole same ole self..
hope you feel better soon
Bloody nora Meg...you better go and get yourself checked out.
Rach how was the holiday??
How is everyone?
I am absolutely HANGING for the Gold Coast...I need a break big time. ONly one more month to go.
We'll have to organise something for next aug/sep girls...seeing that our babies will be 5 then :(
was fantastic Maz about the right length the boys did great, well Luke decided 3-4 am was agreat time to wake and cry and when you in a tent in a van park its hard to keep him quiet :( but other than that was great be posting pics on FB in next few days :)
cant wait to see them Rach. So good to hear that you had a great time. I cant wait to start camping....we always put it off because of Wilhelm but I think we would be safe with him now not freaking out
Meg- I think you'd better go to the Dr, even if you do have to take it out it'll prolly be better than feeling crappy constantly. Hopefully J will settle soon, is he at least eating/ drinking ok again? Ash has been having accidents too of late, I don't get why she been TT for over a year but all of a sudden like evry second day she is peeing on the toilet floor, saying she didnt make it in time then I wonder if its deliberate or not.
Rach- Glad the holiday wewnt well. Youre quite game taking 2 young kids camping, I can't even take myself! Lol.
Maz- Oh god, don't remind me of how old our babies are getting! It already stresses me thinking of her going to school and I won't be there to protect her, ahh the wide world is scary I like babies who are by my side all the time.
Nelle- Df's nephew is 6 now and been going to speech for years and has now caught up to the other kids, so their is light, just takes time. How is S with his speech?
I still haven't been to the doctor - I haven't had time!
Sound like me, I'm overdue for pap smear (oh fun) and just never get chance, not eager to drag 2 kids along for that!
*echo echo*
how is everyone...can you believe we've all 'know' each other for 4 1/2 years already :o were has the time gone!!!
We've decided this year that we'll have a birthdya party for mini me. She's never had one and now that she has her own friends from kinder we'd thought a dress up party would be cool. We'd have it at home becuase we have our own jumping castle....just have to keep the other kids out of their rooms.. child gate needed for hallway.
Need idea's for a cake....what have others done?
anyway enough dribble from me...must take 2 boys to school and change someones bum before hand
I know Maz so hard to beleive they will be 4 soon
as for bday cakes I know you aren't real traditional but the womans day cake booksare fantastic V will love having a party we had one for jacks 1st and 3rd this year will be a quiet one with a few little friends for a morning tea but next year when he is at kindy I will go all out again
Heya all
wow 4 years hey.. (well under 4 years to me cause i came in just after little miss annika was born)
Not sure party wise here for Annika we will be having a small one for her but we will do massive one for her 5th birthday like i did with Teleah. Cake wise? ummm not the expert here but i just do what ever is their fav character with a sponge cake and butter icing, always goes done a treat.
been busy as here... with M moving in and all.. we got some family photo's done here for any one who is my FB friend http://www.facebook.com/NessaDQ#!/al...9974154&ref=mf . pretty happy with the results... the fact that M chose to be in them
hope all in well with everyone
I didnt realise you were on FB Ness so I added you!
Um birthday. Well yet again this year we are friendless sooooooo prob nothing. Unless I can get the guts up to invite his new preschool class. I would stipulate no presents just come for the party. I always feel so guilty that they never get parties anymore, or get invited to any. As for a cake, my guess is something Ben10 related but I wont be making it, itll be bought lol
anna - how do you pronounce Calanthe?
As for parties, we have one every year for the girls. We love birthdays, and I love to throw a party :) Nina has requested a heart shaped cake already. And it has to be pink & yellow. So I'm going to do a big hot pink heart shaped cake, with heart shaped yellow and light pink cupcakes around it.
Cal-ann-thee.
Ness, had a look at your pics, you look amazing and the girls are so grown up now! And your Dp is a cutie ;)
Jodi- ooh that sounds cute, and not too hard either, might keep that cake idea in my head. how are you doing with everything? how is Emily? I saw some pics from your baby shower, looked like a nice day, you look great too.
Freya- Do you have a couple friends with kids? thats all we ever invite to our parties cause Ash doesn't have many friends as such more just kids of our friends that we catch up with.
Ness- your pics came out great, so hard to get everyone, esp kids all sitting nicely for a photo so they turned out great. Looks like things with you and M are going fantastically. And the crows got another win, you must be happy.
Rach- Did you get that hot bath? Lol.
Maz- Hopefully if the weather is nice you can keep them outside, make it a picnic party or something.
Ash is still doing CC one day a week but she seems so shy when I drop her off and she always goes and sits by herself and looks sad. Df oicks her up and she is pretty happy and has had a good day so thats a good sign but she always is playing on her own when he gets her. I always worry bout her having friends. I know at this age they still do alot individual play and she does talk about a couple girls but I still always stress she is going to be a loner or something.
i did indeed shell i did indeed
Hi everyone,
I am still around, but so terribly busy with the kidlets plus working means that I am mega busy. Plus Emilia has been waking in the night HEAPS lately, so I really tired. Turns out she has a temo atm. SHe just chucked all over the lounge floor. The first kid to throw up on the carpet. Lucky it was white vommit.
James is doing so well with speech therapy. He has progressed so well since his surgery that he has now caught up to where he should be for his age. So we don't need to go back till he has a 4 year old review. So that's good.
He is now in EI as they are the ones that run the spath, and we are working on him sticking to tasks a bit longer than a millosecond. Lots of positive stuff happening there too. He still hates drawing and fine motor stuff, but slowly getting there. He also had a comprehensive assessment and it was very positive too.
Shell - Ash will get there. If you are concerned that she is not interacting, have a chat to the teacher, you may find that she is interacting with other kids more than you think.
With birthdays - We had a first birthday party at our house, but we didn't have a second birthay partly as my cousin lost her baby two days prior. Last year J's birthday fell on grand final day, and we were having a grand final party, so we just did a cake during the party. This year, J has asked for a Batman party at the playcentre near our house, so I think I will let him, and just invite the minimum kids that you can. He has a few friends at kindy that he would like to come along.
Nelle - How is Riv's spath going?
Jodi - The countdown is well and truly on for you, Not long to go.
Rach - I see that oyu have been busy - going by facebook. How come you ahve to travel between your home and Agnus (Is that the right place??) so much??
Ness - I saw your fam pics. They were really nice.
Anna - It sounds like oyur kids have been sick as much as mine. I am just lucky that I have a paramedic at home. So it means that I always have someone to treat the kids if I am concerned.
great news bout J :)
we dont have to but its where we have weekend breaks etc its only 3 hrs away and its agnes water, we also have 4 acres to care for and maintane
Hi Ladies, sorry it has been soooo long. Have been having quite a tough/busy year. In brief, DH has been in and out of hospital. We can't finish our house due to no money due to DH being unable to work, so we are living in 1 room at Mum and Dad's. Kids have been unbelievably sick this year. Gabe seems to never be well, he still has a heart murmur, but is walking and climbing and getting into everything. Tallulah has finally mastered the crawl and is now pulling herself up and walking around furniture, she also has sensory disorders at the moment so we are having a bit of trouble with tantrums and she is in early intervention(thanks for the chat Maz). Eithan is just the big little man now, all toilet trained and going by himself now. He is still very whinney, but just beautiful with some of the things he is saying. Bella is growing up soooo fast, she has been pretty sick since easter as well.
I have caught dribs and drabs from here and from facebook. Looks like you had a great time on the gold coast :) Can't wait to finally, hopefully catch up more often, I miss you all.
Anyone live close to Euchuca?
Take care
oh Helen, not a good year for you at all. I really hope things start improving for you guys.
